Feb. 8
1:45 a.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 20, arrested for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, behind the Downtown Lounge in the alley. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:50 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her house, 4900 block of Mimosa. Report taken.
9:36 a.m. – Caller reported a horse and donkey running loose in the area, 4400 block of Airport Road. Officer responded. Animals returned and gate secured.
12:28 p.m. – Caller reported two males fighting, 900 block of Poplar. Report taken for mutual combat level of harassment between two adults.
12:56 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle stolen, 400 block of 10th.
2:56 p.m. – Caller reported that someone hit the vacuum unit at the car wash, 958 Main St. Report taken. Damage estimated at $400.

1:17 a.m. – Robin David Fox, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of manufacturing marijuana and Linn County supervisory warrant for original charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest (owed 12 days in jail), 2405 Main St., Circle K. Cited and released.
10:02 a.m. – Kyle Dawayne Roebuck, 19, arrested on Linn County for possession of meth, 3224 Main St. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.
11 a.m. – Caller reported a female sleeping on the porch of the church, 300 block of Oak Terrace. Officer contacted a female transient trying to stay out of the rain.
11:48 a.m. – Caller reported finding a license plate on Sunnyside Drive and took it to the Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in drop box for safekeeping.
3:30 p.m. – Caller reported a group going door to door trying to clean floors and sell Kirby vacuums, Ames Creek and 18th. Officer located a female and male who did not have a peddler’s license. They called their boss, who would pick them up and obtain a license.
3:47 p.m. – Caller reported a group of people throwing “stuff” over the embankment, west city limits. Officer unable to locate vehicles but did locate a pile of scrap wood on the side of the road.
4:48 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the caller’s house, 700 block of 10th. Back window was broken. Report taken.
5 p.m. – Caller reported her daughter’s ex moving out and thrashing the house, 1400 block of 13th. Report taken.
8:52 p.m. – Matthew Charles Nill, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 600 block of Main. Cited and released.
9:05 p.m. – Male in the emergency room shot off his finger while cleaning his gun, 600 block of Mountain View. Report taken.
9:43 p.m. – John Julius Jepson, 40, arrested for menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct, 1025 Second Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male with a knife threatening the caller.
Feb. 6
12:01 a.m. – Kimberly Ann Winney, 44, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and for probation violation, 629 Seventh Ave. Transported to Lebanon Police Department. Linn County dispatch had received a 9-1-1 hangup call from the area. Dispatch called the number back. A female answered stating that a female had punched and choked her, that she had left the area and everything was fine.
2:20 a.m. – Doneeka Kiwanis Colburn, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 12th and Nandina. Transported to Linn County Jail.
1:38 p.m. – Caller reported that when she went home for lunch, a male was standing on her porch and then started wandering the neighborhood, 1200 block of 46th. Officer unable to locate but would continue to check.
2:24 p.m. – Caller reported a male in a vehicle taking photos of a house in the area, Main west of 42nd. Officer unable to locate. Officer would be on the lookout.
4:40 p.m. – Leslie Lee Gibson, 48, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Transported to Linn County Jail.
5:44 p.m. – Christine Nicole Killian, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fraudulent use of a credit card, 1408 Seventh Ave. Cited and released.
8:40 p.m. – Kevin Ross Candy, 45, arrested on Grant County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 925 Long St. Caller had reported a male was kicking in the door of one of the apartments. Another caller stated a male was trying to get into his apartment was “using karate.” Officer responded and located a male who had locked himself out of the house.
10:35 p.m. – Caller reported his house had been burglarized, 3200 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $270.

12:02 a.m. – Thomas Charles Trotts, 40, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of distribution of marijuana and possession of meth and failure to appear on a citation, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Transported to Linn County Jail.
8:10 a.m. – Collin Michael Swiercz, 17, taken into custody for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention.
10:51 a.m. – Caller reported receiving a letter from the IRS that someone had attempted to file a tax return in his name, 2800 block of Fir. Report taken.
12:15 p.m. – Officers responded to assist medics with an intoxicated male who accidentally drank cleaning solution, 1500 block of 47th.
12:59 p.m. – Caller reported a small terrier type dog that had been spray painted pink and was running in traffic, 600 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.
1:13 p.m. – Caller reported an ongoing problem with people dumping off grocery carts and food items in the alley, and today someone dumped furniture, 1200 block of 10th.
1:43 p.m. – Caller reported a male on a bicycle who appeared to be living in a motor home, 1800 block of 12th. Referred to code enforcement.
2:20 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked at the corner since Feb. 4, and a male was taking pictures and video taping her sister’s house, 13th and Nandina. Officer contacted the male, who owns property in the area. He was concerned about some of the property, so he has been watching them.

7:16 a.m. – Jeromy Lewis Matlock, 29, arrested for first-degree theft in connection to theft of tires reported on Feb. 3. Cited and released.
10:11 a.m. – Caller reported five adult dogs, 2700 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.
2:19 p.m. – Caller reported being chased by three dogs, and one nipped her, 1300 block of Elm. No injury. Information noted.
3:55 p.m. – Caller reported that files had been encrypted without her permission, 1100 block of 43rd. Information noted.
4:05 p.m. – Caller turned in a cell phone to the Sweet Home Police Department, Sweet Home area.

6:01 p.m. – Cheyanne Nickole Morse, 23, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrants for failure to appear on a criminal citation and contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, 1711 Ninth Ave.
9:10 p.m. – Caller reported a black Chevy Cobalt just backed into her driveway then sped off, 1700 block of 12th. Caller said she had a gun on her hip, and she ran into the street and yelled at the male driver.

1:09 a.m. – Caller reported a pickup parked behind The Point Restaurant, 6305 Main St. Officer spoke with the registered owner of the vehicle. He was looking for a place to sleep for the night. Officer advised him to move on.
8:45 a.m. – Caller reported trash at about the 1-mile mark on Old Hufford. Deputy located license plates and debris from a car reported stolen from Corvallis.
11:55 a.m. – Caller turned in a shallow well pump found on old mill property off 18th Avenue. Seized as found property.
12:58 p.m. – Caller reported a possible dangerous tree, 1200 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.
2:24 p.m. – Caller reported a male staring at a couple of students on video, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken.

9:06 p.m. – Caller reported a male standing in front of Speedee Mart, 1501 Main St., trying to hug people as they pass by. Subject left prior to officer’s arrival.
9:14 p.m. – Michael Wayne Shaw III, 24, arrested for initiating a false report, failure to perform the duties of a driver and reckless driving in traffic accident, 16th and Elm. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male ran from the scene. Vehicle impounded.

8:09 a.m. – Kevin M. Watkins, 36, arrested for driving while suspended and possession of meth in a single-vehicle crash, 26100 block of Old Holley. Southbound vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and crashed through a fence into a pasture. No injuries.
9:31 a.m. – Caller reported finding a suitcase with a lock box type safe inside, 26800 block of Rowell Hill. Items inside were wet. Deputies planned to check for identification inside after it dried.
3:03 p.m. – Caller reported a rooster, 900 block of Third. Referred to code enforcement.
