Dec. 25

3:13 a.m. – Ryan James Hutchinson, 31, arrested for possession of meth, two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief and Linn County warrants for possession of methamphetamine and probation violation, 4200 block of Main. Cited and released.

9:40 a.m. – Caller reported a motor vehicle collision, Main and 15th. Parties exchanged information. Damage less than $2,500.

9:56 a.m. – Aaron Moore and Rebecca Komloske arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 45000 block of Quartzville. Cited and released. Deputies had responded to assist two people stuck behind a locked timber gate at a logging site.

3:10 p.m. – Caller reported that someone cut her horse fence, 1200 block of 46th. Officer contacted caller, who just wanted the information noted. Fence temporarily fixed.

3:17 p.m. – Ryan Wesley Sechrest, 33, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of failure to perform the duties of a driver, Bohemian Club.

3:54 p.m. – Caller reported her grandson’s scooter stolen, 1530 Tamarack St., Tamarack Ridge Estates. Report taken. Loss valued at $120.

4:29 p.m. – John Thomas Gordon, 48, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Deschutes County.

4:56 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was hit while parked at Midway Market. Report taken.

Dec. 24

1:27 a.m. – Rebecca Fox, 22, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, and Brent Bowers, 22, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for fialure to appear on a citation and Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol, 1707 Main St., Les Schwab Tire Center. Both cited and released. Caller had reported a male knocking on a window asking for fuel.

8:35 a.m. – April Dawn McLaren, 27, cited for driving uninsured, 12th and Elm.

12:54 p.m. – Caller reported that someone backed into her vehicle and the driver did not have insurance, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

4:22 p.m. – Caller reported a physical altercation, 48400 block of Highway 20, Cascadia. Report taken.

4:28 p.m. – Caller found a cell phone, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in found property.

4:44 p.m. – Caller reported transients camped in the doorway of a vacant building, 1111 Main St. Officer found nobody at location.

7:06 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle, 1207 Long St. Report taken. Loss valued at $350.

Dec. 23

5:22 a.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, 49th and Main. Information exchanged. No injuries. No citations. Damage exceeded $2,500. Vehicles towed.

7:30 a.m. – Caller reported a male has been sleeping in the parking lot, 679 Main St., Samaritan Sweet Home Family Medicine. Officer contacted two males and advised them of the complaint. They agreed to leave the area.

8:52 a.m. – Jamie Jesse Jimenez, 53, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Newport.

9:58 a.m. – Crystal Dawn Strickland, 30, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving while suspended, 3100 block of Main.

11:04 a.m. – Travis Gary Hummer, 33, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving while suspended, Corvallis.

11:14 a.m. – Officer located a stolen vehicle, 700 block of Long. Owner advised.

11:16 a.m. – Ryan Dale Magee, 42, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Bend.

12:39 p.m. – Caller reported a car has been parked in the same spot for about nine months, 1300 block of 45th. Vehicle posted for removal.

1:14 p.m. – Zachary Guy Richmond, 26, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Lane County.

1:52 p.m. – Caller found drug paraphernalia in her yard, 1000 block of 12th. Seized for detruction.

2:11 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a threatening text message, 600 block of Main. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

4:27 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a counterfeit bill, 1280 10th Ave., Subway. Report taken.

Dec. 22

12:14 a.m. – Shauna Ray Harden, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of attempting to elude a police officer, Lebanon warrants for failure to appear and probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended, Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and possession of meth, 18th and Willow. Cited and released. Caller had reported subjects at location using a flood light to look for something and shining it on the caller’s residence. Officer contacted the subject and advised of the complaint. The subject turned off the flood light.

8:18 a.m. – Caller reported a male just stole a stop sign, 1500 block of 47th. Officer found the stop sign and seized it as evidence. Investigation continuing.

10:01 a.m. – A 17-year-old male taken into custody on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on three original counts of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and original charges of third-degree theft, minor in possession of alcohol and minor in possession of tobacco. 1000 block of 12th. Transported to Juvenile Detention Center. Two 14-year-old females and a 14-year-old male taken into custody for second-degree criminal trespass. Cited and released. Caller had tracked her daughter’s phone to an address in town.

12:10 p.m. – Shawn Baker, 49, of Eugene arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, violation of the basic rule for driving 86 mph in a 55-mph zone, driving uninsured and open container of alcohol; and James Baker, 37, of Eugene arrested for possession of methamphetamine, 25800 block of Brush Creek. Transported to Linn County Jail. Vehicle impounded.

5:42 p.m. – Codie Joe Holley, 19, arrested for third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 400 block of Maple. Cited and released.

9:16 p.m. – Tyson Derek Boren, 36, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of methamphetamine, failure to appear and a criminal citation; Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of methamphetamine; and failure to appear on a criminal citation, possession of methamphetamine and possession of heroin, 15th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Dec. 21

1:19 a.m. – Shane Brown, 38, arrested on Marion County warrant for failure to appear on two original counts of possession of a forged instrument and original charges of driving under the influence, possession of methamphetamine; Linn County warrants for probation violation on four original charges of possession of methamphetamine, failure to appear on original charge of possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine; Brownsville warrant for probation violation, failure to pay fines; Albany warrants for failure to appear on two original charges of interfering with a police officer, two original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and original charge of providing false information to a police officer; Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of marijuana, less than an ounce; and new charges of providing false information to a police officer and possession of methamphetamine, 679 Main St., Sweet Home Family Medicine. Transported to Linn County Jail. Jeremy Gross, 32, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation. Cited and released.

1:39 a.m. – Male caller reported that he was in an alleyway sitting on his brother’s face at his request, Sweet Home area. Officer responded and checked alleyways. Unable to locate. Possibly related to the previous call.

3:12 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle spinning out in a grassy area, 877 14th Ave., Sankey park. The vehicle left the area while the caller was on the phone with dispatch. Report taken. A duck crossing sign had been knocked over. Officer located the vehicle and counseled a female for her actions.

12:40 p.m. – Heather Nicole Matney, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal trespass, fourth-degree assault and second-degree theft, 800 block of Cascade Drive, Lebanon. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:18 p.m. – Caller had someone turn in a set of keys, 2200 block of Main. Placed in found property.

3:58 p.m. – Caller reported a crash where a vehicle slid off the road and knocked over a cattle fence, 29000 block of Pleasant Valley. The fence was repairable. No injuries. No citations.

6:37 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of $210 worth of property, 44300 block of North River. Report taken.

6:58 p.m. – Caller reported a bunch of kids under the grandstand, Husky Field. Officer located several juveniles, counseled them and sent them home. Officer contacted parents.

9:52 p.m. – Arne Joseph Gerard, 42, cited and released for misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1500 block of Kalmia.

11:46 p.m. – Derek Armond Johnson, 40, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Deschutes County.

Dec. 20

9:17 a.m. – Caller found graffiti and damage to Weddle Bridge, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.

11:56 a.m. – Caller reported a male was yelling at a dog, pulling on it and hitting it with a leash, 13th and Kalmia. Officer unable to locate.

12:16 p.m. – Caller reported a male kicking and dragging a dog, 900 block of Main. Officer contacted a male with a dog. The dog had no physical injuries. Officer counseled a male.

12:16 p.m. – David James Kamarec, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to comply on original charges of attempted second-degree burglary, third-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal trespass, 900 block of Main. Cited and released. While on another call, officer located a male with warrants.

2:24 p.m. – Caller reported a stray English bulldog was in his yard and it didn’t seem to want to leave, 100 block of W. Osage. Owners collected it prior to officer arrival.

3:41 p.m. – Joseph Lee Shores, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, Corvallis.

6:28 p.m. – Caller reported theft of alcohol by minors, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

6:42 p.m. – Caller reported a male yelling at customers outside and then threatening the caller if police were called, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer contacted the male, who agreed to move along.

8:25 p.m. – Caller reported that a male in a red SUV was exhibiting odd behavior, Dollar Tree parking lot. Officer contacted a male who said he was sleeping.

11:29 p.m. – Caller reported a male acting angry, taking his clothes off and throwing them on the ground, 3200 block of Main. Officer contacted the male, who was agitated and having some mental health issues but still able to care for himself. He agreed to collect his belongings and move along.

11:45 p.m. – Cheri Olson, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, and William Roebuck, 61, arrested on state warrant for parole violation, 1000 block of 23rd. Olson cited and released. Roebuck transported to Linn County Jail.
