7:49 p.m. – Donald Charles Ackeret, 28, arrested for driving under the influence, second-degree criminal mischief and failure to carry and present a license, 3700 block of Long. Cited and released. Caller had reported a non-injury motor vehicle crash with a vehicle in a ditch.
11:21 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle pulling a sled behind it down the street, 24th and Long. Officer contacted the vehicle operator and advised of the complaint. Vehicle operator would stop and head home.

1:22 p.m. – Caller brought a dog found at Third and Ironwood to the Police Department. Dog placed in kennel. Message left with owner, and Dog Control advised.

12:03 p.m. – Caller reported an RV parked on the side of the street for three days, 800 block of 14th. Officer contacted a female who was trying to get someone to move it out of town. Officer planned to post for removal at the end of the shift if it remained at the location.
12:51 p.m. – Caller reported a dog at large, 900 block of Dogwood. Officer located a dog that didn’t want to be caught. It ran away. Officer was unable to locate it.

10:27 a.m. – Caller reported a dog had been locked in a car for more than 25 minutes, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded. The dog had a blanket and did not seem to be in distress. Officer contacted the registered owner of the vehicle and advised her of the complaint.
11:45 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a female living in the 1300 block of 13th. Officer responded. Female has food but refuses to use heat due to the cost of electricity. Information forwarded to Senior Services.

1:52 p.m. – Caller reported a lot of garbage in front of a house, 22nd and Nandina. Referred to code enforcement.

4:32 p.m. – Caller reported a customer turned in a bag full of cash and other items that may be used for narcotics, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Officer seized items and placed them in evidence.
7:31 p.m. – Caller reported a male shoplifter, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at less than $100.
9:22 p.m. – Caller reported his phone was hacked and his bank account information compromised, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Information noted. Caller advised of options.
11:02 p.m. – Male was dropped off at the Police Department after his truck broke down in the Quartzville Corridor. Officer spoke with the male and secured his weapons until his ride arrived from Lebanon. The male stayed in the lobby to warm up.

4:40 p.m. – Officer located a female who had crashed her bicycle, Mountain View and Long. Female transported to hospital by medics.
4:57 p.m. – Caller reported his sister was stuck at Fish Lake snow park and needed help out. She had a knee injury. They made it to a shelter cabin in the area. Search and Rescue responded and helped her to her vehicle.
10:04 a.m. – Caller reported a motor home parked on the street for at least five days, 22nd and Kalmia. Officer contacted a female who was waiting for a licensed driver to move the vehicle.

3:38 a.m. – Caller reported that someone left a bicycle in the 700 block of Dogwood. Placed in found property.
11:15 a.m. – Caller reported a dog at large, 500 block of Sixth. Officer responded and left a business card at the owner’s residence. The officer took the dog to the Police Department until the owner could pick it up.
12:56 p.m. – Caller reported a motor home parked for more than 72 hours, 1100 block of 22nd. Vehicle posted for removal. Officer contacted a female, who said she would have the vehicle moved.
2:56 p.m. – Henry Drew Tucker, 31, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, contempt of court and probation violation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. 5:06 p.m. – Caller reported that her license plate was stolen and another license plate was placed on her vehicle. Report taken.

8:53 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her residence, 500 block of Sixth, and she believes it was her ex-boyfriend. Items taken include his clothes and a firearm. Report taken for felon in possession of a weapon. Caller advised about how to obtain a restraining order.

12:16 a.m. – Caller requested help getting her elderly husband into a vehicle, 3100 block of Foothills. Officer responded and assisted the male.
1:01 a.m. – Caller reported a black lab in the middle of the road, 2200 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.
7:53 a.m. – Caller reported finding a bicycle, 800 block of Main. Placed in found proeprty.
9:13 a.m. – Caller reported that someone shooting on old mill property off Green River. Officer contacted two males who had been duck hunting. Officer advised them they were on private property, and they agreed to pack up and leave.
9:44 a.m. – Caller reported he purchased a truck from someone and then the wheels and other items were stolen from it. Deputy responded. This is a civil issue over the price paid and what equipment was included in the price.
1:51 p.m. – Caller reported that someone used her credit card, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.
3:36 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject trying to sleep in front of the door to Downtown Lounge, 1234 Main St. He would not move away. Officer contacted the male, had males check him and gave him a courtesy ride home.
4:06 p.m. – Caller reported that a male was walking and then passed out in front of the office, 805 Long St., Sweet Home Inn. Officer responded. Male thought he had a room. He did not and was convinced to move along.
4:52 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female using tools to attempt entry into a postal box, 4600 block of Mountain Fir. Officer checked area. Unable to locate. No apparent damage to mailboxes.
10:32 p.m. – Caller reported that a female was trying to get change for a counterfeit $100 bill, 4800 block of Main. Subject was gone upon officer arrival.
