1:11 a.m. – Raymon Wayne Littell, 41, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of negotiating a bad check, Lebanon. Cited and released.
2:06 p.m. – Caller reported being scammed out of several thousand dollars by an overseas company, 3400 block of Juniper. Caller advised of options and contact information for the Federal Trade Commission.
5:23 p.m. – Michael Austin Hurley, 37, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway.
9:30 p.m. – Sarah Kathern Rodgers, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Albany. Cited and released.
9:49 p.m. – Caller reported his mother was assaulted by her boyfriend, 4600 block of Main. Report taken.
Jan. 20
11:59 a.m. – Caller reported her wallet stolen from her vehicle, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $155.
1:16 p.m. – Caller reported finding a nutria on the high school baseball field. It was skinned, and the head was cut off. No crime. Information noted.
1:50 p.m. – Caller reported things may have been taken from an outside storage compartment, 400 block of Maple. Report taken.
2:07 p.m. – Michael Austin Hurley, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 15th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail. Callers had reported a fist fight. Officer contacted two subjects who admitted to a mutual disagreement. No action taken in regard to the disturbance.
2:48 p.m. – Randall Francis Dennison, 64, cited for speeding, 64 mph in a 35-mph zone, Highway 20 at west city limits.
3:19 p.m. – Marc Noel Osker, 60, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment and misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male pushing females in the bottle room and then leaving and driving erratically.
3:49 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s fence falling into the caller’s yard, 800 block of Alder. Referred to code enforcement.
3:51 p.m. – Caller reported a motor home parked in front of a home for more than a week, 1400 block of Westwood. Posted for removal. Owner was working on a plan to move it.
4:11 p.m. – Caller reported a parked motor home emitting an obnoxious odor, 1400 block of Kalmia. Vehicle posted for removal.
4:39 p.m. – Caller reported juveniles physically fighting, 3400 block of Juniper. Officer responded. Investigation pending.
6:01 p.m. – Jeremy K. Stewart, 21, cited for no license, driving uninsured and failure to register a vehicle, and bicyclist Stacy M. Teixeira, 51, cited for no bicycle light in vehicle versus bicycle crash, 2424 Main St.

1:09 a.m. – John Mark Taylor, 37, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, Albany.
5:25 a.m. – Caller reported that someone was sleeping in the lobby, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office. Officer contacted a male and advised him he needed to move on.
6:28 a.m. – Caller reported cans and bottles stolen, 500 block of Mountain View. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.
12:01 p.m. – Bi-Mart, 1980 Main St., turned in found property, including miscellaneous cards and items left at the store more than 30 days. Placed in found property.
12:01 p.m. – Ian Alan Nolan, 26, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and criminal mischief, Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, Wilsonville.
4:55 p.m. – James Eugene Richards, 23, arrested on Sweet home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and fourth-degree assault and Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth, second-degree child neglect and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, 4194 Osage St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:52 a.m. – Andrew Benton Erickson, 46, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft (owed 10 days in jail) and Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 1500 block of Tamarack. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:21 a.m. – Caller reported seeing three subjects vandalize the gazebo, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer contacted three students and sent them back to Sweet Home High School. No damage to the structure.
11:36 a.m. – Caller reported a camper parked in the 1300 block of Kalmia for a week. Vehicle posted for removal.
11:51 a.m. – Caller reported two vehicles failed to stop for flashing school bus lights, Highway 20 and 40th. Letters sent to registered owners.
12:24 p.m. – Caller turned in a wallet found at 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Placed in found property.
1:48 p.m. – Caller reported a counterfeit bill, 1207, Mr. Lucky’s. Officer seized the bill.
1:53 p.m. – Quentin W. Quadros, 18, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.
2:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his vacant residence, 2300 block of Long. Report taken.
2:33 p.m. – Marie Therese Ramos, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.
3:09 p.m. – Caller reported items strewn about a yard in public view, 300 block of Ironwood. Referred to code enforcement.
4:40 p.m. – Caller reported that someone used her bank card at Key Bank, 10th and Main. Report taken.
5:07 p.m. – Christopher Kirt Edward Kaufman, 26, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on two counts of strangulation, four counts of fourth-degree assault, reckless driving, three counts of recklessly endangering another person and third-degree assault and Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving, 1203 Long St., All Star Pizza. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:30 p.m. – Jennifer Lynn Harp, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.
11:41 p.m. – Ryan Keith Gates, 28, arrested on state warrant for parole violation, and Angela Dianne May, 38, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and illegal display of license plates, 2300 Main St. Gates transported to Linn County Jail.

3:15 a.m. – Steven Dale Bergevin, 28, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving under the influence.
9:06 a.m. – Caller reported a phone stolen in the Sweet Home area. Report taken. Loss valued at $320.
9:07 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dogs are in the backyard and barking constantly for a couple of days, 4700 block of Long. Officer unable to contact owners but would attempt to do so again later.
10:26 a.m. – Caller reported two vehicles parked at the end of Kalmia off 18th for more than a month. Officer left business card for owners and would attempt to contact them before posting the vehicles for removal.
2:24 p.m. – Jeremiah Luke Robles, 19, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft and Polk County warrant for probation violation on original charge of theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:05 p.m. – Caller reported two shoplifters, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.
4:15 p.m. – Robert Michael Butterfield, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon warrant for probation violation and failure to appear on a criminal citation and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
4:55 p.m. – Medics responded to an accident, 621 Main St., Thriftway. A juvenile pedestrian was uninjured and releasted to grandmother. Vehicle undamaged. No citations.
9:41 p.m. – Jeremy Lee Ferebee, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 12th and Redwood. Cited and released.
Jan. 16
2:20 p.m. – Caller reported a female asleep in front of Sweet Home Emergency Ministries, 1115 Long St. Officer contacted a female, who was trying to warm up. She said she would move along shortly.
3:49 p.m. – Caller reported a kid on a bicycle near the bottle room making derogatory remarks about one of the employee’s sexual orientation, and the caller wanted the juvenile trespassed, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer contacted and trespassed the subject.
4:03 p.m. – Caller reported a fictitious social media account made in the caller’s name, 700 block of 10th. The caller reported being threatened through the account. Officer attempted contact with the caller. Officer left a message for the caller.
4:18 p.m. – Linn County Jail served a Sweet Home warrant on Anthony Allen Ensley, 34, for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer.
9:50 p.m. – Caller reported that her window was broken around 8 p.m., 900 block of Fourth. A neighbor saw the vehicle and tried to chase the suspect. Report taken.
Jan. 14
8:35 p.m. – Christanne Baska, 52, arrested for harassment. A caller had reported a woman yelling at him and swinging her cane at him and he is on oxygen, 42400 block North River.
Jan. 12
2:19 p.m. – Timothy Combs, 34, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and failure to perform duties of a driver. A caller had reported that a person ran his vehicle into the caller’s fence, hit a phone pedestal and damaged some fencing, 28500 block of Pleasant Valley Road.
6:06 p.m. – A vehicle crashed into a fence, 31000 block Sodaville Road. A caller said two other vehicles stopped and then left. A deputy responded but was unable to find the vehicle.

1:53 p.m. – Caller reported that someone ordered a phone and opened an account with Sprint in the caller’s name. The victim was not out any money, but Linn County Sheriff’s Office took a report for identity theft.
