1:59 p.m. – Caller reported a utility trailer full of trash parked on the street for several months, 1200 block of Second. Referred to code enforcement.

Jan. 25

12:45 a.m. – Megan Katherine Courtney, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of carrying a concealed weapon, Benton County. Cited and released.

12:51 a.m. – Steven Andrew Williamson, 46, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 900 block of Nandina. Cited and released.

1:05 a.m. – Caller found a knife stashed behind a video lottery machine, 1200 12th, Chewy’s.

10:22 a.m. – Daniel Wayne Sutton, 22, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to appear and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of disorderly conduct, 6281 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:48 p.m. – George Joseph Nelson, 40, cited and released in field on Klamath County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense, 1365 Quince St.

8:52 p.m. – Megan Alene Stone, 19, cited for driving while suspended, Hilltop Market parking lot.

Jan. 24

3:21 a.m. – Jamie Jimenez, 48, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Newport. Transported to jail.

7:33 a.m. – Caller reported neighbors have 30 to 40 chickens, with at least two roosters, and they keep entering her yard and waking her up in the morning, 4600 block of Airport Lane. Referred to code enforcement.

8:55 a.m. – Caller reported that the trailer behind her house was using his power, 1900 block of Willow. Report taken.

9:57 a.m. – Caller reported a chainlink fence has been cut, and his water bill has increased, 2400 block of Main. Caller believes someone is using his water. Investigation continuing.

10:24 a.m. – Caller reported a purse missing, 4800 block of 48th. Report taken.

1:29 p.m. – Caller reported that his TV, game systems and games have been taken, 4500 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.

2:09 p.m. – Caller reported that her shed was pried open during the night and numerous items taken, 1700 block of 12th. Report taken.

3:42 p.m. – Caller reported losing her keys in Bi-Mart, 1980 Main St.

3:42 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle, 3100 block of Long. Report taken.

5:48 p.m. – Caller reported finding a prescription bottle in her yard, 3100 block of Main. Property seized.

Jan. 23

6:16 a.m. – Caller reported that her leg is split open but would not provide further information, 500 block of Ironwood. Officer responded and contacted the caller, who was not cooperative with law enforcement. Report taken.

8:39 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a camera, 900 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $650.

10:33 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a blue fifth-generation iPod in a black case worth $200 from a table between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Jan. 21 while the restaurant was open, 4219 Main St., Ma’s Restaurant. Report taken.

11:04 a.m. – Terry Lynn Ballweber, 50, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of contempt of court (owes 10 days in jail) and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and charged with third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:18 a.m. – Caller reports someone is inside the vacant house next door, 1000 block of 12th. Report taken.

11:42 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a full tank of fuel from his vehicle, 4600 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $80.

3:54 p.m. – Caller reported a patient dropped a baggie of white powder substance, 679 Main St., Sweet Home Clinic. Officer responded. The item had been returned to the owner, and it was flushed before the officer arrived. They were counseled for their actions.

5:29 p.m. – Linda Louise Herrera, 67, arrested on Yamhill County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal mistreatment, 3224 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:42 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Suspects detained. Officer responded. Two boys trespassed for a year and released to parents.

9:13 p.m. – Tyler Paul Dean Malloy, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for second-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

Jan. 22

4:20 a.m. – Thomas Charles Trotts, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1500 block of Tamarack. Cited and released.

6:41 a.m. – Caller reported a male wearing boxers walking through the middle of the park with his robe open, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Officer responded. Unable to locate anyone matching description.

12:17 p.m. – Brian Anthony Fox, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:07 p.m. – Caller reported theft of a security camera, 1800 block of 12th. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

2:32 p.m. – Melony Irene Shockman, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:28 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a check in the mail for an item he sold, but the check had already been cashed and paid out to someone else, 1100 block of First. Report taken.

8:16 p.m. – Rhianna Lynn Akeson, 16, taken into custody for interfering with a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, and Isaac Philip Waugh, 19, arrested for interfering with a police officer, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Cited and released. Caller had reported a disturbance among multiple people.

11:19 p.m. – Joseph James Harper, 19, cited for no license, 800 block of 18th.

Jan. 21

9:25 a.m. – Joey Eugene Tackitt, 33, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and providing false information to a police officer; Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft; Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct; and state warrant for parole violation, 22nd Avenue. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10 a.m. – Jesse Cole Richardson, 32, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1231 40th Lane. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:44 a.m. – Caller reported two accounts opened in his name since 2013, 600 block of Seventh. He said he did not open either account. Report taken.

12:06 p.m. – Mikaela Rae Houck, 23, arrested for interfering with a police officer and obstructing government administration, 40th and Laurel Court.

12:30 p.m. – Caller reported a scam through Craigslist, 2400 block of Main. Report taken.

4:52 p.m. – Caller reported a male urinated off his front porch in front of her children, 1300 block of Nandina. Officer counseled male for his actions.

Jan. 20

1:52 a.m. – Jered Douglas Roebuck, 18, cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance; Robert Dale Wirth, 45, cited on two counts of allowing unlawful operation of a motor vehicle; and Zachery Shea Nelson, 23, cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, 1000 block of Long.

2:40 a.m. – Manuel Lovato, 53, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park.

9:47 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole two propane tanks off his trailer, 500 block of Ironwood. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

11:17 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs entered her yard and killed her bunnies, 4600 block of Long. Report taken.

11:57 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a camera, 900 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $650.

12:29 a.m. – Caller reported finding a suitcase with belongings unattended near the water’s edge, Shea Point. Property seized and stored at the Sweet Home Police Department.

3:17 p.m. – Caller reported a female taking the wrappers off DVDs and concealing them, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded. Female did not end up stealing the items. Officer counseled her about taking off the wrappers prior to purchase.

4:35 p.m. – Caller reported his iPhone stolen, 1400 block of Ninth. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

5:05 p.m. – Caller reported a male just left Safeway, 1540 Main St., with a cart full of groceries. Report taken. Loss valued at less than $100.

Jan. 19

1:46 p.m. – A missing male was located in the Canyon Creek area. He had been rock hunting with a friend and left his headlights on, discharging the battery. A deputy located the two subjects walking down the road just off the 2026 line on the 300 line. Both were cold and hungry but OK otherwise. The deputy gave them a ride back up to the vehicle, and they were able to jump start it.

3:08 p.m. – Caller reported a woman’s purse and coat left by a basketball hoop, 1700 block of 11th. Officer retrieved property.

3:45 p.m. – Kevin Joseph Bachand, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1089 Poplar St. Cited and released.

4:48 p.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 19, arrested for third-degree theft and on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 987 Nandina St. Cited and released.

6:59 p.m. – Sharon Ann Minshull, 52, cited for driving while suspended, Ninth and Main.

8:44 p.m. – Jason Milton Dalebout, 40, arrested on Oregon warrant for parole violation on original charge of assault, Highway 228 and Valley View. John Harvey O’Brien, 38, cited for driving while suspended.

8:54 p.m. – Caller reported possible fraudulent charges on his cred it card by a business in Dallas, 40000 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Report taken.

8:59 p.m. – Caller reported a wooden carving stolen from him, 300 Hwy. 228, Stonebrook Apartments. Report taken.

Jan. 18

2:11 a.m. – Candy Lugo, 44, arrested for first-degree burglary, two counts of fourth-degree assault and two counts of second-degree criminal mischief, 40000 block of McDowell Creek. Caller had reported a female subject came to his house, kicked in his front door and assaulted him and his girlfriend with a stick from the broken door jamb. The caller also reported the female went outside, kicked his vehicle and threw a brick at the house, damaging the vehicle and house.
