June 27

3:28 a.m. – Caller reported vehicle broken into and gun missing, which occurred between 1 and 1:30 a.m. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, first-degree theft. 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven.

9:15 a.m. – Report taken for the theft of a pickup, 1400 block of 60th.

11:27 a.m. – James Robert Warrington, 41, cited for consuming or possessing alcohol in a public place, reminded of trespass, 1400 block Long Street.

8:10 a.m. – Caller reported items stolen from his truck. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, first-degree theft. 460 17th Ave.

1:28 p.m. – Kyle Kurtis Philpott, 45, cited for careless driving, no valid operator’s license, after non-injury motor vehicle crash in 1600 block Long Street.

2:31 p.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 26, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply unauthorized entry into motor vehicle, 1900 Block Long Street. Cited and released.

5:45 p.m. – Caller reported ongoing issue with neighbor’s dog getting loose and trying to bite her. Officer responded, contacted dog owner, who was warned for dog at large. 320 Mountain View.

6:45 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of an inner tube shaped like a large sombrero, 2400 block of Foster Dam Road. Report taken.

9:05 p.m. – Deputy located an illegal camp and advised the group to vacate the site, 48300 block of Quartzville.

9:08 p.m. – Deputy located an illegal camp and advised the group to vacate the site, 48600 block of Quartzville.

9:10 p.m. – Deputy located an illegal camp, advised the group to leave the site and disassembled two fire pits, 51100 block of Quartzville.

June 26

2:00 a.m. – Christine Nich-ole Killian, 34, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on fraud charges involving a credit card. Cited and released. Corvallis Police Department.

7:20 a.m. – Caller reported a burglary, 45400 block of Highway 20, Cascadia. Report taken.

10:09 a.m. – Cheyanna Nickole Morse, 28, arrested on multiple warrants for failure to comply on harassment and contempt of court charges. Cited and released after she turned herself in at SHPD, 1950 Main St.

11:25 a.m. – Austin Alton Wayne Jones, 23, arrested in Lebanon on Sweet Home warrant. Cited and released for failure to comply on third-degree criminal mischief charge.

1:18 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his two vehicles and attempted to steal radios. Officer responded. Caller wanted the incident documented. 240 W. Holley Road.

12:23 p.m. – Caller reported that a female, to whom he’d given a ride, stole his CD’s. Officer responded, located female. Items recovered and returned to caller.

1:38 p.m. – Caller reported finding a shotgun while he was out walking. Officer reponded, seized weapon for safekeeping. Green River and 47th Avenue.

2:32 p.m. – Deputy sat at the dirt turnout at the second bridge, Quartzville Road, warning visitors not to jump from the bridge. The deputy did this thanks to the high number of incidents at the location recently. Deputy reported several people gave him a “thumbs up” as they drove by. Two people stopped to thank him for being there, but the deputy reported that the problematic juveniles did not like him being there.

5:43 p.m. – Deputy contacted 10 illegal camps and advised campers to leave, 46400 block of Quartzville.

6:12 p.m. – Caller reported two-car collision at 13th and Main. Report taken. Neither driver reported injuries.

7:11 p.m. – Caller reported firearm stolen from back of his truck. Officer contacted caller, who reported being in the area where a shotgun was found earlier in the day. 12th and Fir.

9:31 p.m. – Caller reported that a large blue van ran over husband’s foot. Caller had photo of van. Officer responded, report taken for hit and run. Male stated his hand was injured. 6281 Main St.

9:39 p.m. – Multiple 9-1-1 callers reported subjects fighting in front of Sweet Home Police Department, 1950 Main St. Subjects worked out their differences; officers cleared to respond to “priority calls.”

June 25

2:05 a.m. – Anthony Ensley, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Albany warrant for contempt of court and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven.

5:25 a.m. – Caller found a backpack, Clover Park. Property seized. Backpack belongs to a male in another case.

8:08 a.m. – Caller reported being approached by a male who appeared to have dementia and did not know where he was. Officer responded and assisted the man in locating his residence. 3137 Main St.

9:21 a.m. – Sara Kay McBee-King, 28, arrested on Polk County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charge, second-degree theft, second-degree failure to appear, and theft of services. She was also cited for driving while suspended. 679 Main St.

10:30 a.m. – Deputy located an illegal camp, 48500 block of Quartzville. Campers agreed to leave by dark.

2:37 p.m. – Kyle Alexander Richards, 27, arrested on multiple warrants after turning himself in at Sweet Home Police Department: Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on a possession of meth charge; Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on second – and third-degree theft, second-degree criminal trespass and credit card fraud. Cited and Released. 1950 Main St.

2:39 p.m. – Caller reported people living at location without permission. Officer responded, contacted multiple people at the residence who were under the impression they could be there. Homeowner gave them till June 27 to gather their belongings and leave. 1037 15th Ave.

3:59 p.m. – Dennis Allen Aldrich, 34, arrested on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for fourth-degree assault and harassment. Cited and released. 4420 Main St.

4:01 p.m. – Officer responded to Wiley Creek Park, where a car was parked under a tree and three adults were arguing while multiple dogs were fighting. Parties involved said they were having a disagreement about their dog. They were able to figure it out civilly and go about their ways.

4:18 p.m. – Janelle Renea Gibbs (Arms), 40, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on a DUI charge. Cited and released in the field. 621 Main St.

4:30 p.m. – Jamie Daniel Carpenter, 44, cited for driving while suspended and for driving uninsured, 621 Main St.

5:04 p.m. – Deputy located an illegal camp, 49600 block of Quartzville. Campers agreed to leave.

5:11 p.m. – Deputy located two illegal camps, 49600 block of Quartzville.

5:24 p.m. – Caller reported that someone keeps leaving items on her doorstep. Officer reponded and contacted both parties, both of whom requested that the other be trespassed from their respective residences. All trespassed. 2440 Long St.

5:41 p.m. – Caller reported that she paid someone to drywall her house and he never showed up to do the job. Officer responded, contacted caller by phone. Information noted and caller asked for extra patrol. 1550 12th Ave.

6:08 p.m. – Deputy warned a large group for jumping from Quartzville road, milepost 1.5, on Ace property, 47800 block of Quartzville.

8:30 p.m. – Denise Burrow, 53, and Allen Ensley, 31, arrested after caller reported a male and female arguing and that caller saw male hit female. Officer responded. Both denied physical altercation and female had no visible injuries and maintained it was a verbal disturbance. Ensley arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on second-degree criminal mischief charge; Burrow arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on a second-degree trespassing charge and failure to comply on a second-degree disorderly conduct charge. Both cited and released in the field. 1812 Vine St.

9:03 p.m. – Caller reported lock on shed was tampered with sometime in previous 24 hours. Officer reponded. Caller wanted info noted, requested extra patrol. 610 8th Ave.

June 24

5:22 a.m. – Caller reported a male kneeling near a flag pole and it appeared he was holding a rifle, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Officer responded. It was a soldier silhouette.

6:30 a.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 26, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation.

7:57 a.m. – Caller found an EBT card, Sankey Park. Placed in found property.

9:34 a.m. – John Robert Kulbeth, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Released on municipal judge’s orders.

10:48 a.m. – Caller reported receiving a scam check, 1200 block of Linden. Information noted, and caller advised of options.

2:44 p.m. – Anthony Dale Williams, 18, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 1100 block of Juniper. Caller had reported a male knocking over a fence and coming onto the caller’s property after being trespassed.

3:06 p.m. – Terry Lynn Ballweber, 56, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 1100 block of Poplar. Caller had reported two males going through a carport and shed at a neighbor’s residence. Officer contacted the caller. All parties were advised that it was a civil situation. Males were advised to leave and work things out after the homeowner’s return.

4:54 p.m. – Caller reported that a male may have violated a restraining order by having his sister contact the caller, 3137 Main St., Trailer Villa manufactured home park. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

6:11 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was sideswiped sometime during the day, 1100 block of Poplar. Report taken. Damage more than $200.

6:32 p.m. – Caller reported large pieces of plywood in the road, west city limits on Main. Officer cleared debris from the roadway.

7:34 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been parked for more than a year, 2400 block of Long. Vehicle tagged for removal.

7:45 p.m. – Caller reported a male screaming, cursing and throwing apples at a residence, 1100 block of Juniper. Officer contacted the male, who had thrown an apple out of frustration. The male was allowed to gather his belongings from a nearby residence.

9:45 p.m. – Caller reported a backpack taken from Thriftway, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.

10:14 p.m. – Caller reported someone threw a rock through a window, 1027 Main St., La Mota. Report taken. Damage valued at $500. Damage was more consistent with a rock being thrown up by a passing vehicle.

11:04 p.m. – Zakery Lyttle, 20, cited and released in field for reckless driving for driving too fast, losing control on a curve, crashing into trees and injuring his two passengers, 48300 block of Quartzville. Tryston Allen, 20 cited and released in field on a warrant for failure to appear.

11:20 p.m. – Callers reported a juvenile playing in the street, Pleasant Valley and railroad tracks. Officer located the juvenile and provided a ride home. Mother advised. Juvenile warned for curfew violation.

11:23 p.m. – Kaby Keith Heidt, 24, turned herself in on Linn County warrants for delivery of heroin, possession of heroin, failure to appear on original charge of delivering heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, failure to appear on original charge of first-degree forgery, failure to appear on a criminal citation, failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and possession of methamphetamine, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

June 23

12:43 a.m. – Janene Lynn Gust, 59, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Linn County.

5:46 a.m. – Jamie Carpenter, 44, cited for driving while suspended, 900 block of Main.

8:09 a.m. – Caller reported a female was sleeping behind the building and refusing to leave, 160 Main St. Officer contacted the female and warned her for trespassing then provided a courtesy transport to another location.

8:25 a.m. – Caller found a pocket knife on a bench, 12th and Kalmia. Placed in found property.

9:27 a.m. – Caller reported a $600 bicycle stolen, 45900 block of Highway 20.

10:24 a.m. – Caller reported a male on a bicycle entering a vacant residence, 1500 block of Long. Officer located an unsecured door. No one was inside. Caller to work with owner to secure the residence.

12:14 p.m. – Caller found a wallet, 4800 block of Main. Placed in found property.

1:08 p.m. – Caller reported that when she arrived home, there was a subject in her backyard, 1000 block of 12th. When she asked him what he was doing there, he said he was just looking around. He was sitting at the bus stop when the caller reported the incident. She asked that the male be trespassed. Officer contacted the male and advised him that he was trespassed.

1:08 p.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 31, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft, 12th and Kalmia.

4:22 p.m. – Caller reported a gray pit bull attacked her dog, 1000 block of 43rd. Officer unable to contact the owner of the dog. The dog was secured back at its residence. Officer left a business card for contact.

5:37 p.m. – Jon Julian Robertson, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Lebanon.

7:16 p.m. – Callers reported that a man under a no-contact release agreement for harassment drove by twice, 3137 Main St., Trailer Villa manufactured home park. Report taken.

7:45 p.m. – Cameron Hackworth, 44, arrested on state warrant for parole violation on an assault charge and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 900 block of 23rd. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:04 p.m. – Caller reported a male driving his vehicle around the fishing ponds on former Knife River (Morse Bros.) quarry property. Officer located the vehicle leaving the location and warned the driver for violating city code and driving outside of restrictions. Parent came to pick up other juveniles.

June 22

2:08 a.m. – Chavana Bowser, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

8:30 a.m. – Caller found an ID and Oregon Trail card, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Placed in found property.

9:01 a.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 32, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported a male stealing a female’s bicycle in the parking lot. Officer contacted all parties. A male and female were having a verbal disagreement over civil issues.

9:05 a.m. – Caller reported a lawn mower and fuel worth $2,032 stolen from the caller’s shop, 28100 block of Pleasant Valley. Report taken.

10:01 a.m. – Caller reported a sleeping bag spread out on the sidewalk and partially in the roadway, 4500 block of Main. Officer responded and located a mattress off the road.

10:11 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle with broken windows parked in front of his house, 3500 block of Juniper. The vehicle showed up sometime during the morning. Officer responded. Stolen North Dakota plates seized. Vehicle legally parked.

11:40 a.m. – Tcheche Yvet Troche, 41, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for third-degree theft, and Craig James Evans, 44, cited and released in field on Philomath warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, 24th and railroad tracks.

12:31 p.m. – Thomas Charles Mann, 33, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Samantha Leann Stotz, 28, cited and released in field for third-degree theft; Linn County warrants for probation violation on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, failure to appear on original charge of failure to appear and a criminal citation, failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass and failure to appear on contempt of court; and Marion County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree forgery and and interfering with an officer.

3:05 p.m. – Marcuss Clayton, 23, cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance in two-vehicle crash, 18th and Main. No injuries.

3:11 p.m. – Christian Scott Barger, 22, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of felony fourth-degree assault and misdemeanor fourth-degree assault, 1266 15th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male sleeping on the side of the building.

5:26 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in a car, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer counseled the owner of the dog.

7:47 p.m. – Jimmy Rodger Varner, 53, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 3200 block of Main. Vehicle returned to owner.

June 21

2:27 a.m. – Caller reported a dog wandered onto the caller’s property, 500 block of Juniper. Dog returned to owner. Owner warned for dog at large.

1:26 p.m. – Caller reported a crash, 2000 block of Main. No injuries. Report taken. Damages more than $2,500.

3:48 p.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 26, arrested on Albany warrant for first-degree theft, 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven. Cited and released.

4:37 p.m. – Caller reported a white and green bicycle stolen from Sunnyside Campground. Report taken.

6:48 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was hit by an unknown vehicle, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Damage approximately $500. Officer to review video surveillance.

7:06 p.m. – Gye Allen Deardorff, 59, arrested for strangulation and harassment, 3137 Main St., Trailer Villa manufactured home park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:50 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his vehicle and took a pistol, 1600 block of Fir. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.

8:23 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle damaged while the owner was swimming, 40200 block of Upper Calapooia.
