3:58 a.m. – Caller reported a male who looked disoriented wandering around, Main and Wiley Creek. Caller thought he could see blood on his face. Officer unable to locate anyone matching the description.
4:53 a.m. – Caller reported a male with blood on his face lying in the middle of the roadway, 53rd and Wiley Creek. The male refused law enforcement and medical assistance. Officer observed some abrasions on his chest, possibly caused by a knife. Male left area on foot.
July 8
7:57 a.m. – Caller reported a dog had been barking since 1 a.m., West Pine and Evergreen. Officer left business cards at two houses regarding barking dogs.
8:55 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor had two dogs running loose and the owner had not been home for more than two days, 1100 block of 32nd. Officer located dogs and placed them in the backyard. One dog was able to climb over the fence. Owner advised and responded to try to fix the fence.
10:38 a.m. – Caller reported money taken from his vehicle, 2200 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $125.
12:16 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1800 block of Tamarack. Theft connected to a previous case.
1:42 p.m. – Michelle Kimberly Ray, 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:12 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the caller’s car, took a wallet and used a credit card, 27000 block of Latiwi Creek Road. Report taken.
6:19 p.m. – Elric Matthew Benson, 23, cited for driving while suspended, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s.
7:36 p.m. – Ashley Dawn Fagan, 27, cited for driving uninsured, 1400 block of Main.
9:26 p.m. – Deputy assisted a motorcyclist with a flat tire, 46400 block of Quartzville. The motorcycle hit something metal on the road causing the flat. Deputy and driver located two small puncture holes. The owner plugged the holes with a tire plug kit the deputy loaned to him.
July 7
7:31 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious fire, Hawthorne and 1st. Officer spoke with the owner of the residence. The owner believed his nephew started the fire but did not want to pursue charges. Report taken for reckless burning.
8:19 a.m. – Caller found a loose dog, Main and Wiley Creek. Animal Control picked up the dog.
8:28 p.m. – Curtis McPhie, 44, cited for second-degree criminal trespass, 48100 block of Quartzville. Officer contacted a subject camped on private property with a campfire. The camp was next to clearly posted signs indicating it was private property and that camping and fires were prohibited.
11 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 800 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.
1:08 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash in the parking lot, 1118 Main St. Information exchanged. No citations. No injuries.
1:25 p.m. – Quentin Wyatt Quadros, 20, cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass, 300 block of 7th.
1:35 p.m. – While on followup, officer advised of a theft, 300 block of 7th. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.
3:15 p.m. – Caller found an Oregon Trail card on the ground, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Placed in found property.
3:54 p.m. – Sian Lian Sang, 28, cited for no license and speeding, 3000 block of Main.
6:41 p.m. – Shawna Jean Tidwell, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of distributing heroin and cited for driving uninsured and no license, 1800 block of Tamarack. Transported to Linn County Jail. Vehicle impounded.
6:47 p.m. – William Lopez Rodriguez, 31, cited for speeding and no license, 47th and Main.
7:18 p.m. – Caller reported a male, against whom she has a restraining order, went up to her carport, 1100 block of 55th. Report taken.
7:38 p.m. – Caller found two stray dogs wandering the trailer park, 4610 Main St. Officer unable to locate owner. Caller kept the dogs. Photo posted on local website, and Animal Control advised.
7:48 p.m. – Caller reported three cell phones stolen from her pickup, 1100 block of 23rd. Report taken.
8:29 p.m. – Eric Raymond Shipp, 43, arrested for harassment and resisting arrest, 1435 22nd Ave. Cited and released. Caller had reported his son breaking his windows with a baseball bat.
9:30 p.m. – Caller reported a couple of dogs showed up in her yard, 3100 block of Long. Officer unable to locate.
July 6
2:46 a.m. – Christopher Andrew Hughlett, 29, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth, third-degree escape, resisting arrest, first-degree theft and unlawful possession of a firearm, Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp. Cited and released.
7:40 a.m. – Caller reported finding bones in the Calapooia River, 41100 block of Upper Calapooia. Bones and other materials retrieved were not human according to medical professionals.
7:23 p.m. – Caller reported being surrounded by a group of males and one of them hit him when he wasn’t looking, 47700 block of Quartzville. Report taken. All parties were issued an exclusion from Linn County parks.
9:57 a.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.
10:49 a.m. – Christopher Andrew Lee Hughlett, 28, cited for driving while suspended, 1540 Main St., Safeway.
10:54 p.m. – Transient male found sleeping in a van in the boat trailer parking area, 47700 block of Quartzville. Deputy informed him of the rules in the area and asked him to move on.
12:43 p.m. – Caller found a set of keys, 23rd and Long. Placed in found property.
12:57 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle and took items worth $155, 500 block of 6th. Report taken.
1:25 p.m. – Caller was concerned about a dog in a vehicle, 12th and Long. Officer checked dog, which was not distressed.
2:03 p.m. – Matthew Allen Pitts, 29, arrested at 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleanaers, for two counts of third-degree theft in connection to reported thefts at Safeway and Sweet Home Gleaners. Cited and released.
2:33 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, Pacific Pride, 18th and Main. Officer assisted in exchange of information. No injuries.
3:01 p.m. – Jeremy Michael Lambert, 40, cited for driving uninsured in two-vehicle crash, 13th and Main. No injuries.
4:22 p.m. – Caller reported that he felt a big truck purposely blew black smoke at him as he was skating in the roadway, near the Elks Lodge. Information noted.
5:15 p.m. – Marilyn Junet Cosiar, 56, arrested for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.
6:25 p.m. – Caller reported the front door of a vacant house standing open, 700 block of 7th. Officer responded, cleared and secured the residence.
8:16 p.m. – Caller reported that a granddaughter and her boyfriend got into the caller’s house while she was gone and took her property, 2400 block of Long. Report taken for burglary and theft. Loss valued at $40.
9:17 p.m. – Caller reported two teens on the roof of Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St. Officer contacted and counseled four teens.
9:51 p.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 24, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation, 2454 Long St. Caller had reported a female yelling at the caller. Officer responded and trespassed a male and female from the location. The caller gave them time to gather belongings.
10:05 p.m. – A caller involved in the previous report found a safe in the backyard, 2454 Long St. Placed in found property.
11:10 p.m. – Megan Breann Brambora, 27, arrested for harassment, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Cited and released. Caller had reported a female refusing to leave, trying to fight with other customers and spitting on customers.
July 5
7:21 a.m. – Caller reported that someone threw a homemade explosive into the back parking lot during the night, 899 Main St., Napa. Report taken.
7:47 a.m. – Polk County Jail served a Sweet Home warrant on James David Stedman III, 28, for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence.
9:45 a.m. – Caller reported fraudulent charges on a debit card, 1500 block of 9th. Information noted.
10:29 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle damaged by fireworks, 1300 block of Quince. Report taken.
11:42 a.m. – Caller reported an assault, 1000 block of North River. Report taken.
1:12 p.m. – Caller reported her son, who was on a bicycle, hit by a trailer, 1500 block of Main around noon. Officer responded. No injuries. Report taken.

1:56 a.m. – Kyle Christian Esquiro, 33, and Breeann Elena Blanco, 30, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Both cited and released.
2:12 a.m. – Matthew Allen Pitts, 29, arrested for menacing, 1025 14th Ave. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male walking up to her door and then around to the side of her house.
9:49 a.m. – Caller reported a window broken during the night, 5300 block of Main. Report taken.
10:47 a.m. – Oregon State Police arrested Nathan Daniel Brown, 43, on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft.
1:20 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole a bicycle from his yard, 1500 block of 9th. He was able to catch the thief and get the bike back. Information noted.
2:37 p.m. – John Martell Hefty, 53, cited for dangerous left turn, and Candace Marie White, 46, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured in two-vehicle crash, 4600 block of Long. No injuries.
3:16 p.m. – Caller reported an energy drink can with possible drugs found in a yard, 2000 block of Long. Property seized for destruction.
9:20 p.m. – Caller reported aerial fireworks, 13th and Poplar. Officer located the fireworks and the person responsible. Officer informed the person that the person could be arrested. The responsible person was done for the night.
9:40 p.m. – Caller reported aerial fireworks, around 40th and 41st avenues. Officer counseled a female responsible for the fireworks.
10:10 p.m. – Noe Nunez Manzo, 33, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem.
10:25 p.m. – Caller reported a female attempting suicide, 1400 60th Ave., Edgewater RV Resort. Report taken.
11:10 p.m. – Officer located subjects using illegal fireworks, 1100 block of 23rd. Officer warned and counseled them. Six additional callers reported aerial fireworks around town during the evening, but officers were unable to locate the fireworks or persons responsible. Two reports referred to illegal fireworks across the river.
July 3
7:47 a.m. – Caller reported that someone kicked in her back gate during the night, 1700 block of 9th. Report taken for criminal mischief and theft.
10:52 a.m. – Jeremiah Luke Robles, 20, arrested for third-degree theft, and Brady James Canaga, 22, arrested for menacing and unlawful use of a weapon, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Robles cited and released. Canaga transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a Safeway employee following a male who shoplifted.
10:57 a.m. – Caller reported a medium-sized dog running east on Highway 20 near Midway Market. Officer unable to locate.
11:05 a.m. – Caller reported an owner who lets a dog wander around the neighborhood all day, 1200 block of Laurel Court. Officer to watch out for the dog.
11:25 a.m. – Caller found a cell phone, Sunnyside Park. Placed in found property.
11:26 a.m. – Caller reported his windshield was broken while parked at work, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Report taken. Damage valued at $200.
11:56 a.m. – Caller found syringes in a culvert, 1400 block of 54th. Officer disposed of syringes.
2:13 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the impound yard, 1746 Main St. Report taken for theft, criminal mischief and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
4:21 p.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall, 35, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), menacing and possession of meth, 3131 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:26 p.m. – Caller reported several syringes lying near the garbage can, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Officer disposed of the syringes.
7:39 p.m. – Caller reported a male had set up a homeless camp on the back corner of his property, 2200 block of Main. Male was on a property north of the caller’s. The male was trespassed from the property and advised to move along.
8:50 p.m. – Report taken for a narcotics offense, Sunnyside Park.
9:12 p.m. – Caller reported a dog darting in and out of traffic, 1300 block of Long. Officer unable to locate.
10:28 p.m. – Caller reported a male breaking into her neighbor’s van with a crowbar and stealing something, 900 block of Nandina Officer contacted the owner of the van. The owner said the items the male took were his and she was not interested in pursuing charges at this time. Report taken for menacing because the male brandished a weapon.
July 2
6:49 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog was in the backyard, 1800 block of Kalmia. The caller was unable to wake the neighbors. Officer contacted the owner, who retrieved the dog.
6:58 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole items, 2200 block of Kalmia. Report taken.
July 1
8:35 a.m. – Nathan Deffenbaugh, 42, arrested for menacing (domestic violence), 43700 block of Wiley Creek.
12:42 a.m. – Caller turned in keys found on a sidewalk, 4200 block of Main. Placed in found property.
8:34 a.m. – Caller found a bullet outside McDonald’s, 2000 Main St. Item seized.
12:44 p.m. – Caller reported that there are three photos of him sleeping on his phone and he didn’t know who took the photos, 1800 block of Fir. Information noted.
1:43 p.m. – Isaac Earl Fry, 31, cited for speeding, 64 mph in a 45-mph zone, 5500 block of Main.
2:56 p.m. – Joshua Wayne Welch, 29, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 3681 Green River Road.
2:57 p.m. – Callers found a license and debit card on the sidewalk, 2nd and 3rd avenues. Placed in found property.
4:07 p.m. – Caller reported that a female failed to yield to an emergency vehicle, eastbound Highway 20 west of Sweet Home. Officer contacted a female at her residence. She said she was unaware of the law regarding emergency vehicles. Officer educated her on the law.
5:21 p.m. – Mikeal Todd Buttenhoff, 55, arrested for driving under the influence and cited for failure to maintain lane and open container, Highway 228 and Sunset. Transferred to Lane County on unrelated charges.
6:07 p.m. – Caller found a backpack, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Placed in found property.
9:25 p.m. – Caller reported two parked cars with dogs inside barking, 2200 block of Long. Officer contacted vehicle owners, who were leaving soon.

June 30
12:53 p.m. – Caller reported that her grandson was assaulted during the night, 1200 block of 49th. Information noted. No physical injuries.
1:02 p.m. – Caller reported a travel trailer parked on the street for two weeks, 800 block of 3rd. Officer left a business card requesting contact.
3:08 p.m. – Jesus Felix Ortiz, 20, cited for speeding, 68 mph in a 45-mph zone, 2300 block of Main.
4:10 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked on a sidewalk, 1300 block of Poplar. Officer spoke with a female and advised her of the complaint.
6:03 p.m. – Caller located a dog and brought it to the Police Department, 1100 block of 24th. Dog returned to residence.

June 29
7:55 a.m. – Caller reported a transient sleeping behind the bank’s trash bin, 1266 15th Ave., Wells Fargo. Officer contacted two subjects, who moved along.
8:40 a.m. – Caller reported an ongoing problem with barking dogs, 1800 block of Tamarack. Officer contacted the owner, who advised he would try to keep them from barking.
10:08 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to open a cell phone account in his name. Report taken.
10:39 a.m. – Raymond Theodore Moore, 21, arrested for menacing (domestic violence) and harassment, 4810 48th Loop. Transported to Linn County Jail. Callers had reported a 21-year-old son threatened them with knife and Airsoft gun and physically assaulted the female caller.
2:54 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor threw cooking oil over the fence onto the caller’s flowers, 4200 block of Long. Report taken to be forwarded to city attorney for review.
4:38 p.m. – Caller reported that a female is living in a motor home that had been parked on the street for a few weeks, Long and 22nd. Officer contacted the owner, who advised the vehicle would be leaving in the evening.
4:59 p.m. – Caller found a syringe in front of his house, 900 block of Nandina. Officer disposed of syringe.
5 p.m. – Caller reported that his ex forged his name on a vehicle title, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Report taken.

11:41 p.m. – David Edward McCracken, 23, served on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Oregon City.
11:53 p.m. – Rondel Allen Adams, 27, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation and contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, 1700 block of 9th. A caller had reported a male and female yelling and being obnoxious. Officer contacted the male, who advised he was just trying to clean out his garage.
