June 5
12:36 a.m. – Caller reported an occupied silver sedan parked at a stop sign with lights off, 43rd and Long. Officer contacted the occupant, who said the alternator went out. The occupant was waiting on a tow truck.
1:53 a.m. – Jackalyn Arneson, 27, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Green River and Clark Mill.
June 4
10:26 a.m. – Chelsea Dawn Slack, 31, arrested for violation of release agreement, 1530 Tamarack St., Tamarack Ridge Estates. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:29 a.m. – Officer delivered prescription medication, 1200 block of 23rd.
12:26 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been parking in the area and people were living in a camper on the truck, 1500 block of 53rd. Information noted. Officer will post the vehicle when necessary.
12:59 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle left in her front yard, 1800 block of 12th. Placed in found property.
2:03 p.m. – Keith Linn Flanagan, 46, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured and cited and released on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, 4600 block of Main.
5:30 p.m. – Caller found a debit card in an ATM, 1199 10th Ave., KeyBank. Placed in found property.
7:13 a.m. – James Freeman, 52, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1200 block of 41st.
June 3
12:18 a.m. – Carter Mason Kachel, 17, arrested in Albany on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for third-degree theft. Court date assigned.
1:11 a.m. – 17-year-old male, unnamed, arrested on Linn County Circuit Court warrant for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, 205 Main St. Lodged in Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.
8:21 a.m. – Caller reported someone was camped in the field near City Hall, 3200 block of Main. Officer located an unoccupied tent and left a business card with a request that the person camping there gather belongings and leave the area.
11:48 a.m. – Caller reported that someone has been harassing her daughter via social media and threatened to burn down the building where she works, 2400 block of Main. Information noted, and caller advised of options.
11:53 a.m. – Caller reported his neighbor just threw a beer can at the caller as he was driving by, 1200 block of 4th. Officer contacted the involved parties. The issue was over the caller’s speeding. The neighbor threw a beer can, but it never left his yard. Caller advised of options.
11:57 a.m. – Caller found a bag of crystal methamphetamine, 621 Main St., Officer disposed of the item.
2:53 p.m. – Aaron Matthew Smith, 32, cited on Sweet Home warrant for second-degree theft, Marion County.
5:17 p.m. – Cameron Wark, 30, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, 1140 12th Ave., old City Hall.
8:09 p.m. – Caller turned in an iPhone that fell out of a black Tahoe, 60th and Main. Placed in found property.
10:12 p.m. – Multiple callers reported aggressive dogs in the area, Osage and Westwood. Officer unable to locate.
10:27 p.m. – Caller reported a tool theft from a vehicle, 44500 block of Quartzville.
11:06 p.m. – James Robert Warrington, 41, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 1502 Main St.
June 2
4:24 a.m. – Sara Kay McBee-King, 28, cited on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Polk County.
6:44 a.m. – Caller reported an unoccupied vehicle blocking the mail drop box, 13th and Kalmia. Officer located the vehicle and contacted the occupant, who said she ran out of fuel. Officer assisted with moving the vehicle into a parking space.
8:44 a.m. – Caller reported a male had set up camp at the back door of her business, 1223 Main St. Officer contacted man, trespassed him from location.
9:40 a.m. – Frederick Wilkins Cadger, 53, arrested for improper use of lanes. Cited and released in field. 3200 block Main Street.
4:57 p.m. – Caller reported that neighbor kids keep coming onto his property and provoking his dog. Officer contacted parents, who agreed to keep kids out of caller’s yard. 1000 block 14th Avenue.
5:20 p.m. – Caller reported that a large dog attacked his little dog and carried it off in its mouth. Officer responded, took bite report and advised owner of large dog to quarantine the animal. Unknown where smaller dog ran off to. 42nd Avenue and Osage Street.
6:28 p.m. – Caller reported finding knife in BiMart parking lot. Officer responded, knife seized.
8:03 p.m. – Callers reported man yelling at traffic and acting aggressively toward a female, 1108 Main St. Officer responded and contacted a man and his mother. Both agreed to stop drinking and remain calm for the evening.
9:18 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female physically fighting in 2200 block of Long Street. Officer responded and contacted the pair, who were both intoxicated. The female denied that there was a physical altercation. They agreed to stay separated.
June 1
12:06 a.m. – Nicholas Ford, 32, cited and released in field for misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine and Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended, and Paula Skyles-Lutzi, 47, cited and released in field for misdemeanor possession of heroin, 2405 Main St., 7-11. The canine unit was deployed and alerted to a vehicle on a traffic stop.
9:54 a.m. – Thomas Daniel Elmer, 49, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 621 Main St., Thriftway.
12:42 p.m. – Caller reported a Pulaski hand tool worth $30, 1200 block of 1st. Report taken.
12:58 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit another in the drive through, 2301 Main St., Taco Time. Officer contacted involved parties. Neither vehicle damaged. Information noted.
2:46 p.m. – Caller reported that a female sprayed him with mace for no reason, 1600 block of Main. Report taken.
3:53 p.m. – Tony Bowman, 56, arrested on warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, 47600 block of Cascadia Drive. Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:53 p.m. – Three individuals were hiking at Tidbits Mountain, and when they returned they had a flat tire. They did not have a spare or cell service. A deputy located them walking down the road at about the 7 mile on Campbell Global. Deputy provided them a courtesy ride to McDonald’s in Sweet Home, so they could make arrangements to get a new tire. The car was left at the trail head until morning.
6:25 p.m. – William Ernest Cockrell, 57, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Benton County.
6:50 p.m. – Caller reported someone stole a package from her mailbox, 4000 block of Clark Mill. Report taken. Loss valued at $16.
May 31
9:59 a.m. – Caller reported bicycles stolen from his backyard, 1300 block of Westwood. Report taken.
11:17 a.m. – Caller reported registration stickers stolen from vehicle, 800 block of 4th. Report taken.
3:17 p.m. – Caller reported tools stolen from her son’s truck, 1300 block of Sunset. Report taken. Loss valued at $45. Toolbox in the truck bed was unlocked.
6:36 p.m. – Caller reported a female stole the bottle room keys and then denied taking them, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded. The keys were returned. They had been located in a bag on the female’s bicycle. Female trespassed at the caller’s request.
6:58 p.m. – Justin Clark, 34, cited for failure to use a seatbelt (child was not in a car seat), 700 block of Long.
7:19 p.m. – Kellie Hesson, 53, cited for open container of alcohol and consumption of alcohol in a public place, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Caller had reported an intoxicated female who was surrounded by beer cans sitting on a curb.
8:32 p.m. – Matthew Barker, 20, cited for failure to wear a motorcycle helmet, failure to display a license plate, no license (no motorcycle endorsement), failure to obey a traffic control device and driving uninsured, 9th and Elm.
9:06 p.m. – Caller reported two juvenile males throwing cones on the roof of the gazebo, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer unable to locate the juveniles. No damage to gazebo. One cone was on the roof.
10:35 p.m. – Vicki Voldbaek, 59, cited for driving while suspended, 1200 block of 23rd. Vehicle seized pending a search warrant following an alert by the canine unit.
May 30
8:23 a.m. – Michael Thomas Owen cited for failure to obey traffic control device, Skyline.
9:09 a.m. – Caller reported a disabled vehicle partially blocking the roadway, Oak Terrace and Holley. Officer contacted and waited with female until her tow arrived.
12:09 p.m. – Wayland Porter, 60, arrested for telephonic harassment, Sweet Home warrant for harassment and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and unlawful cutting or transportation of special forest products, 1188 55th Ave.
3:19 p.m. – Officer responded to 1188 55th Ave. because a male had called the Police Department 39 times with no need for police in nine hours. Report taken for telephonic harassment. Male would not answer the door.
4:22 p.m. – James Brian Tidwell, 61, cited for careless driving causing a crash, driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 5500 block of Main. Caller had reported a vehicle nearly hitting the caller head on and then hitting a guardrail.
5:44 p.m. – Officer delivered prescription medication, 5300 block of Main.

8:32 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle stolen during the night, 2200 block of Main. Report taken.
12:35 p.m. – Caller reported a male took a fountain drink without paying, 3239 Main St., Midway Market. Officer responded. Caller did not want to pursue charges but requested the male be trespassed.
12:37 p.m. – Caller reported a theft that occurred on May 19, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.
12:46 p.m. – A 16-year-old male taken into custody for probation violation, 3300 block of Long. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.
2:10 p.m. – Lisa Marie Erickson, 24, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 900 block of 4th.
3:36 p.m. – Officer delivered medication, 1540 Main St., Safeway.
11:56 p.m. – Richard Daniel Belcher, 41, cited for unnecessary noise, 800 block of 18th.
