2:09 a.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 33, cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, 2405 Main St. 7-Eleven.

2:53 a.m. – Caller reported fire south of Old Hufford Drive at 3.5 mile marker. Deputy located blaze, which was “barely burning.” Kicked it out. Checked area and did not located any individuals or vehicles.

11:18 a.m. – Deputy assisted Redmond Police Department in welfare check on overdue campers in 44500 block Highway 20/Quartzville Road. Campers located, found to be safe.

12:02 p.m. – Grant Alexander Kloewer, 35, cited for no valid driver’s license, 2400 Block Main St.

12:17 p.m. – Caller received a call from someone who found a syringe on the street, 700 12th Ave. Officer responded, item properly disposed of.

12:43 p.m. – Deputy assisted county code enforcement and environmental health officials with “ongoing issues with excessive junk and occupied RVs” in 27900 block Sunny Valley Lane. Property owner was not present to address concerns.

1:00 p.m. – Deputy assisted county code enforcement and environmental health officials with “ongoing issues with excessive junk and occupied RVs” in 27900 block Sunny Valley Lane. Resident(s) was not present to address concerns. 40900 block Highway 228.

4:34 p.m. – Avery William Freeman cited for reckless driving and no valid operator’s license, 600 Block Elm.

10:35 p.m. – Emily Allen, 18, cited for speeding 84 in a 55, Main/Osage.

June 8

12:07 a.m. – Timothy Branson, 46, cited and released for driving under the influence and reckless driving, 18th/Main.

10:49 a.m. – Caller reports his bicycle was stolen, 415 Holley Rd. Officer responded, report taken for second-degree theft, value $150.

11:15 a.m. – Caller reports female in parking lot is yelling at customers and he would like her trespassed, 1203 Long St. Officer responded, contacted female, trespassed from location.

5:20 p.m. – Caller reports male broke into residence and stole a safe, 2424 Main St. Officer responded, report taken. Investigation continuing. Loss of value $3900.

6:40 p.m. – Kenneth Faulconer, 27, arrested for domestic violence – menacing, Mr. Lucky’s.

7:39 p.m. – Caller reports brother broke out kitchen window, 300 W Holley Rd. Officer responded, Marcus Hesson, 49, arrested for restraining order violation and second-degree criminal mischief. Arrested on Linn County Sheriff’s Office Felony warrant for parole violation-failure to report as a sex offender. Arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of resisting arrest, 300 W Holley Rd.

8:10 p.m. – Cameron Michael Wark, 31, of Sweet Home, arrested and taken to Linn County Jail on several felony probation violation warrants. 44900 block Highway 20. Report taken.

8:42 p.m. – Both callers report male and female having intercourse in front of location. Officer responded, contacted both, advised of complaint, moving on. Rachelle Guess, 34, cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court Cite and Release warrant for second-degree criminal trespass, 1530 Main St. Santiam Discount.

8:57 p.m. – Illegal campers on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property located, told to leave. 44700 block Highway 20.

June 9

4:06 a.m. – Patrick John Ward, 40, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

10:43 a.m. – Lost property reported in 27300 block Moose Creek Lane. Report taken.

1:40 p.m. – Several boats docked at Edgewater Marina were entered. Several mooring covers were cut and damaged and at least two fishing poles were stolen. Damage estimated at approximately $2,500. Known theft loss about $150. 1400 60th Avenue.

3:14 p.m. – Caller reports male acting strange in front of store, request he be trespassed, Thriftway. Officer responded, male trespassed.

3:55 p.m. – Patrick Wad, 40, of Sweet Home, cited and released on warrants, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured. 3000 block S. Santiam Highway.

5:08 p.m. – Caller reported male walking on his property earlier in the week. Deputy located Jonathan Marsh, 32, of Sweet Home, and trespassed him from the property at caller’s request. 42000 block North River Drive.

5:12 p.m. – Caller into police department reports plasma cutter taken from storage unit, 1299 45th Ave. Store-All Storage. Officer responded, report taken for second-degree burglary.

7:02 p.m. – Caller reports receiving fake $100 bill, Chevron. Officer responded, report taken for first-degree forgery.

8:43 p.m. – Caller into police department to turn in social security number found at location, 2242 Main St. Item placed in property.

9:58 p.m. – Sandra Freeman, 61, cited and released for first-degree forgery, 1198 38th Ave.

10:13 p.m. – Stolen vehicle out of Linn County recovered in Portland. Red Toyota Camry was parked in 45800 block Highway 20, near River Bend, when owner could not find her keys and realized vehicle was missing.

June 10

3:50 a.m. – Female reported she heard someone banging on a window, Long St. Sweet Home High School. Officer checked area, located vehicle with broken out window and items strewn on the ground. Report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle and second-degree criminal mischief.

5:11 a.m. – Steven Stitt, 36, cited and released for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle and second-degree criminal mischief, Safeway.

8:28 a.m. – Caller reports male was trespassing at location early this morning, 1744 Main St. Officer responded, contacted caller, report taken for second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal trespass. Steven Stitt, 36, cited and released on charges and trespassed from location.

11:24 a.m. – Jamie Carpenter, 45, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, 845 18th Ave.

1:14 p.m. – Caller reported lost/stolen wallet in 45000 block Quartzville Road. It contained several ID and debit/credit cards. Report taken.

1:15 p.m. – Caller reports graffiti on building at location, 1030 Long St. Officer responded, report taken for second-degree criminal mischief.

1:18 p.m. – Caller reports chair was stolen and pressure washer was cut, 5540 Nandina St. Officer responed, contacted caller. Report taken for second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal mischief, approximate value $50.

1:48 p.m. – Brezy Marie Pitts, 43, arrested on Sweet Home Municpal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of failure to carry and present a driver’s license.

3:44 p.m. – Caller reported that someone cut the mooring cover of their boat, docked at Edgewater Marina, during night of June 8 and stole $1,000 worth of stereo components. Damage to cover estimated at $2,000. Report taken. 1400 60th Avenue.

4:03 p.m. – Lisa Dawn Johnston, 46, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, Sweet Home Police Department.

7:34 p.m. – Caller reports someone keyed their car, 18th/Long. Officer responded, report taken, approximate value of damages $100.

June 11

12:11 a.m. – Brian Clement, 50, cited for driving with a suspended license, Hoy’s Hardware.

10:42 a.m. – Michael Robert Naro Jr., 44, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Albany Police Department.

12:09 p.m. – Caller reported single-vehicle crash in 41900 block North River Drive. One occupant fled on foot. Deputies arrested Jacob Yonker, 36, of Lebanon, for possession of stolen vehicle and outstanding warrants. Report taken. Investigation ongoing.

2:40 p.m. – Caller reports needle on ground at location, 815 5th Ave. Officer responded, property seized and disposed.

8:03 p.m. – Deputy on patrol in 44100 block Highway 20 located tent on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property, between Highway 20 and Foster Lake. Spoke with local transient, whose name was not included in Sheriff’s log, who had “moved to this location for peace and quiet.” Deputy also noticed man was wearing hospital bracelet, was recovering from recent surgery and was having trouble getting around. Due to fact that it was getting dark and it would be unsafe to travel the highway back to town, man was given until noon the next day to remove his camp and trash.

8:33 p.m. – Caller reports group of juveniles vandalizing structure, Sankey Park. Officer responded, no criminal issue with them being on structure, no damage. 15-year-old male arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft.

8:43 p.m. – Edmund Alexander, 42, of Sweet Home, taken into custody on warrant, 3100 block Burdell Boulevard, Lebanon. Report taken.

11:47 p.m. – Kyle Alexander Richards, 28, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, failure to appear on an original charge of fraudulent use of credit card, failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, and failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft X2, Oregon State Police.

11:58 p.m. – James Albert Thompson, 49, cited and released for providing false information to a police officer, Zelcova Park. Cited and released on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation, a Brownsville Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge, and a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of manufacturing a destructive device X5, possession of destructive device X5, and possession of meth.

June 12

10:41 a.m. – Carlee Needham, 26, cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft. Michael Hilton, 31, cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, 500 Block Main St.

2:25 p.m. – Brooke King, 21, cited for no valid driver’s license.

4:26 p.m. – Caller reports pressure washer was stolen sometime overnight, 2530 Birch St. Officer responded, report taken. Approximate loss of value $300.

6:57 p.m. – Megan Machel Cole, cited for speeding 62/45, 2400 Block Main.

7:21 p.m. – Nancy Lee Waters, 38, cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants, 18th and RR tracks.

11:01 p.m. – Matthew Kincaid Nelson, 22, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving with a suspended or revoked license, 2203 Juniper Court.

June 13

12:53 a.m. – Caller turned in cell phone he found, 1000 block Long. Placed in property.

2:40 a.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 28, cited and released for fleeing/attempting to elude police, Sand Ridge Ct. and S. Main.

3:17 p.m. – Caller reports someone entered her apartment overnight and stole her safe, 2424 Main St. Officer responded, report taken for first-degree burglary, second-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass. Approximate loss of value $300.

9:04 p.m. – John Martin Chelstad, 55, cited and released on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation contempt of court, 1950 Main St. Cited for dog at large.

10:19 p.m. – Jered Van Henderson cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, 1951 12th.

10:57 p.m. – Nathan Allen Oliver Deffenbaugh, 45, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Wiley Creek and Locust St. Cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.
