June 18

9:17 a.m. – David Arroya-Sandoval, 35, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 4100 block of Main.

1:24 p.m. – Caller reported that a female subject opened a Pacific Power account in her name and ran up a large bill, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. This occurred six years ago, and the caller will handle the situation civilly.

2:15 p.m. – Caller reported a male pit bull running in the street and alley, behind Downtown Lounge, 1234 Main St. Officer contacted owner and advised that the dog was out.

2:23 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s male pit bull was out, 1200 block of Fourth. Officer contacted owner. The dog had followed children out to play and had returned.

2:59 p.m. – Carrie Rose Lee, 31, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 13th and Main.

3:26 p.m. – Carrie Rose Lee, 31, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Towne Pump. Vehicle impounded.

4:09 p.m. – Sheree Lynn Daniels, 64, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis. Cited and released.

7:26 p.m. – Zachary Shane Stegner, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct; Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear; and Linn County warrant for failure to appear. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:30 a.m. – Melissa Ann Dewar, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

1:39 p.m. – Caller found a debit card in the parking lot, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Placed in found property.

June 17

3:15 a.m. – Officer located a disabled vehicle, 3000 block of Main. Towed as a hazard.

9:08 a.m. – Caller reported two small dogs running loose in the area, 17th and Fir. Officer returned dogs to owner. They were secured in their yard.

1:54 p.m. – Caller reported that his computer was hacked by someone who charges him more than $200 to get it released, 4600 block of Mahogany. Information noted.

3:33 p.m. – Shawn Michael Gali, 38, arrested for second-degree assault, Sankey Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:14 p.m. – Hunter Sky Banta, 20, arrested on Marion County warrant for third-degree theft, 1709 Fir St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

June 16

8:01 a.m. – David K. Eck, 58, cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, Main and 10th.

10:48 a.m. – James Robert Warrington, 37, arrested for contempt of court, 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:18 a.m. – Allen Ray Madero, 19, cited for careless driving, 546 Mountain View Road.

12:04 p.m. – Caller reported a possible marijuana plant growing near a sidewalk, 1300 block of Sunset. Officer responded and contacted a female regarding marijuana plants. Officer counseled her about property storage. She agreed to change the location of the plants.

5:37 p.m. – Caller reported a pickup just struck his pickup and continued without stopping, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer contacted both drivers. Information exchanged, and report taken for a motor vehicle collision rather than a hit and run.

7:37 p.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 23, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of hit and run, railroad tracks behind Safeway, 1540 Main St.

7:51 p.m. – Henry Drew Tucker, 30, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, 12th and railroad tracks.

9:10 p.m. – Caller reported that her daughter and her boyfriend were chased by a pit bull, 900 block of 23rd. It ran to an apartment complex across the street and was still barking. Officer located and warned owner.

9:27 p.m. – Caller reported a small safe was missing from his residence, 2200 block of Main. Report taken. Loss of property, including a firearm, estimated at more than $3,000.

9:41 p.m. – Rae Linn Rhoades, 30, arrested on Albany warrant for contempt of court, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Cited and released.

June 15

2:17 a.m. – Angela De Kragness, 56, arrested for hit and run, property, in connection to a hit and run case reported at Hawthorne School at 9:18 p.m. on June 14, 1100 block of 42nd. Cited and released.

8:58 a.m. – Caller reported tall weeds and grass, 1200 block of 45th. Referred to code enforcement.

8:58 a.m. – Caller reported trash accumulated in a driveway, 1200 block of 45th. Referred to code enforcement.

8:58 a.m. – Caller reported a dangerous tree, 4500 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

9:01 a.m. – Callers reported two addresses with tall grass, 4400 block of Live Oak. Referred to code enforcement.

10:14 a.m. – Caller reported building material accumulating, 300 block of Taylor Creek. Referred to code enforcement.

10:14 a.m. – Caller reported a travel trailer parked in the street for more than a week, 100 block of Holley Road. Referred to code enforcement.

10:50 a.m. – John Paul Short, 32, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

11:20 a.m. – Caller reported a commercial vehicle being parked on the roadway, 1200 block of 46th. Referred to code enforcement.

11:27 a.m. – Luke Daniel Lagares, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of offensive littering and second-degree disorderly conduct, Marion County. Cited and released.

1:09 p.m. – Anthony Nicholas Scott, 31, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Main Street Market.

1:32 p.m. – Caller reported his bicycle was stolen 10 minutes earlier, 1000 block of 15th. Officer located bicycle and returned it to the owner. Caller did not want to pursue charges.

1:50 p.m. – Carrie Ann Giles, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on two original charges of second-degree criminal trespass.

1:57 p.m. – Caller reported that a male failed to register as a sex offender, 300 block of 12th. Report taken.

2:40 p.m. – Andrew Benton Erickson, 46, arrested for third-degree theft and state warrant for parole violation on original charge of assault, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:02 p.m. – Caller reported a trailer had been parked for more than a month, Third and Ironwood. Referred to code enforcement.

4:19 p.m. – Caller reported multiple vehicles parked in a yard, 4000 block of Osage. Referred to code enforcement.

4:28 p.m. – Caller reported that she hit a male on a bicycle and tried to get him to stop and talk to her, 1540 Main St., Safeway. He just kept gong. Officer contacted caller. No apparent damage to her vehicle, and no evidence of injury.

5:06 p.m. – Caller reported a male hanging out in the bus shelter all day causing passengers to wait elsewhere, 13th and Kalmia. Officer contacted four subjects. Three moved along. One claimed to be waiting for a bus.

6:58 p.m. – Caller reported a young male leaving without paying, 2425 Main St., Skyline Inn Restaurant. Male left east on a black bicycle. Report taken. Loss valued at $7.05.

8:01 p.m. – Jacob Michael Anderson, 25, arrested for third-degree robbery, third-degree escape and resisting arrest, in front of 3026 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:26 p.m. – Jaycee Ryan McClurg, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Deschutes County. Cited and released.

June 14

5:49 a.m. – Stacy Manuel Teixeira, 50, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 580 Main St.

11:07 a.m. – A vehicle reported stolen out of Lebanon was recovered, 43100 block of McDowell Creek. It was full of garbage but was drivable and was returned to the owner.

11:22 a.m. – Caller reported an abandoned pickup, 700 block of Birch. Referred to code enforcement.

11:22 a.m. – Caller reported a car parked in a front yard, 300 block of Seventh. Referred to code enforcement.

11:45 a.m. – Caller reported that someone had broken into a secured vehicle and stolen items, 1800 block of Willow. Report taken.

12:06 p.m. – Caller reported receiving information that a knife was stuck in a seat at the bus stop and the blade was poking up, 13th and Kalmia. Officer responded and seized the knife for disposal.

4:38 p.m. – Lisa Marie Jones, 54, cited for driving uninsured and no license, 1800 Main St.

8:08 p.m. – Caller reported two stray dogs attacking her dog, 3100 block of Long. Officer located dogs and released them to owner.

8:44 p.m. – Jody Lawrence Maruffo, 37, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 1900 block of Main.

9:18 p.m. – Caller reported a white minivan hitting mailboxes belonging to Hawthorne Elementary School and a residence, 3200 block of Long. Report taken. Both mailboxes destroyed.

June 13

3:24 a.m. – Caller reported that someone was outside her house trying to remove her air conditioner, in the 28100 block of Pleasant Valley Rd.

8:55 a.m. – Caller had purchased a puppy from a male in the 41000 block of Upper Calapooia. When she got it home, the puppy was sickly, and per their agreement, she took it back. The caller was upset because the breeder did not return her money when she returned the sick puppy. Deputy took no action because it was a civil issue.

2:38 p.m. – Caller reported a log truck was hit. Information noted.

3:16 p.m. – Caller reported a dog bite, 1100 block of 27th. Report taken.

4:08 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in violation of city ordinance, 1400 block of Westwood. Referred to code enforcement.

5:17 p.m. – Caller reported two sets of keys missing from her residence, 4400 block of Live Oak. Information noted.

8:08 p.m. – Caller advised a vehicle took off toward Springfield after people took a wheelbarrow and other items, 24700 block of Brush Creek. Caller said they were three men in their 50s who looked homeless. Report taken.

8:32 p.m. – Caller reported that a subject altered bottle return slips, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

9:32 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

June 12

5:03 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the caller’s shop sometime in the last week or so, 42400 block of North River. A firearm, TV and sewing kit were taken.

June 11

10:46 a.m. – Caller was camping and said other people there were causing a disturbance, were drunk and cutting down trees, 44800 block of Quartzville.

1:02 p.m. – Caller reported there was a male on his property cutting down trees, 30400 block of Fairview. The neighbor was asked to leave a note with the caller if he felt the trees needed trimming instead of doing it himself.

3:12 p.m. – A Glock 31C handgun was taken from a car, 27100 block of Scott Mountain. Report taken.

June 10

8:30 a.m. – Caller from Rosboro Timber said someone broke into their equipment and stole tools and hydraulic hoses, 56300 block of Highway 20.

9:28 a.m. – A tackle box, water floats and beer were stolen from site A73 at Sunnyside Park over night. Report taken.

6:06 p.m. – Caller said people were shooting up on Marks Ridge again. The caller said it has been an ongoing problem, and the night before, Oregon State Police had to come out since a deer was shot.

June 9

9:53 a.m. – A male subject went onto the caller’s property saying a piece of equipment, a Christmas tree baler, belonged to him, 41400 block of McDowell Creek. The man claimed it had been stolen from someone else. The caller did not want to pursue charges. Report taken.

June 8

1:30 p.m. – Caller camping at Sunnyside Park had fishing poles stolen out of their boat at their campsite overnight. Report taken.

6:24 p.m. – Caller reported that her neighbor just shot her dog while he was in the middle of the road. Caller said her neighbor did this in front of children, 1000 block of North River. Report taken.
