2:47 a.m. – Tyson Derek Boren, 33, cited and released in the field on Lebanon warrants for contempt of court and probation violation and for failure to appear on a criminal citation, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Caller had reported having issues with another male, and he was afraid of the other male. Second caller reported that a male was acting oddly, and the caller was afraid he might harm himself or others.
4:36 a.m. – Caller reported that a vibration in his trailer was happening again, 5300 block of Main Officer checked the area. Unable to locate anything suspicious.
June 18
12:43 a.m. – Caller reported that when driving, someone threw something at his vehicle, breaking out his window, 3100 block of Main. Report taken.
4:40 a.m. – Caller reported that he heard something hit his trailer, 5300 block of Main. Officer responded and checked the area. Unable to locate.
6:29 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole his duffle bag, 1540 Main St. Report taken. Loss valued at $25.
9:02 a.m. – Caller reported that a male he believes was trespassed from the location was on the property, 900 block of Long. Report taken.
9:21 a.m. – Caller reported that a male was sleeping behind a building and not waking up, 5400 block of Main. Caller was concerned the male may be run over. Male awake upon officer arrival and was moving along.
10:24 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running at large in front of traffic, 54th and Nandina. Dog returned to owner. Owner advised of potential consequences if he is unable to keep the dog contained.
11:20 a.m. – Donald Dean Long, 26, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 4610 Main St.
12:09 p.m. – Officer located a stolen vehicle, 44th and Main. Vehicle released to owner.
1:32 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle with expired tags parked on the street for several months, 1200 block of Evergreen. Posted for removal.
1:46 p.m. – Caller reported a dog was left in a car, but the vehicle left while the caller was on the phone, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer advised to watch for the vehicle.
4:05 p.m. – Andrew Benton Erickson, 46, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 23rd and Long.
4:06 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in the back of a truck with the canopy closed, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded. No vehicles matching description were at the location.
5:53 p.m. – Caller found a dog at large and brought it to the Police Department. Dog detained, and Animal Control notified.
6 p.m. – Caller reported that her 16-year-old daughter beat her up, 1600 block of Elm. Report forwarded to the city attorney for review.
7:54 p.m. – John Henry Youngman, 42, arrested on state warrant for parole violation and a new charge of failure to register as a sex offender, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Transported to Linn County Jail.
8:59 p.m. – Caller reported a male with a bat lying on the ground and yelling, 4536 Main St., Slip ’n’ Snip. Officer responded. Male gone upon arrival. Officer contacted the caller, who said it was a misunderstanding. The male was sleeping. He had a bag and went on his way.
9:22 p.m. – Caller reported an assault at Lewis Creek Park.
June 17
12:55 a.m. – Joshua Gerald Wooley, 22, arrested for possession of heroin, distribution of heroin, possession of meth and distribution of meth, 2405 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:51 a.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 29, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of contempt of court seeking punitive sanctions and carrying a concealed weapon, 890 Mountain View Road.
9:46 a.m. – Caller reported a female stealing soda, chips and medication, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.
10:35 a.m. – Caller reported an outside chair cushion was stolen, 900 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $15.
11:24 a.m. – Quentin Wyatt Qadros, 19, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1500 block of Main.
1:17 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in a vehicle with no cover, 1200 block of Main. Officer contacted the owner and advised of the complaint. The vehicle was not parked at the location very long, and the owner advised that he or she would be leaving shortly.
3 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog went after his female dog and defecated in his yard, 2300 block of Harding. Officer warned the owner for keeping a dog as a public nuisance.
3:25 p.m. – Caller reported that a truck and trailer went through the drive-through area and damaged a sign, the sprinkler and landscaping during the night, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Report taken.
4:04 p.m. – Louis Bradford Phillips, 57, cited and released in field for failure to appear on original charge of open storage at a residence, 3000 block of Main.
4:16 p.m. – Robert Dean Whitton, 63, arrested on Marion County warrant for contempt of court, Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree forgery and Linn County warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree forgery, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.
4:58 p.m. – Caller reported that her sister hit her and scratched her, 28000 block of Riggs Hill. Report taken for harassment. Other party was gone upon officer arrival.
5:01 p.m. – Caller found a syringe, 6000 block of Main. Caller brought it to the Police Department for disposal.
6:36 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in a black Honda with the windows partially down, and the dog was panting, 1600 block of Long. Officer responded. Vehicle was occupied. Officer advised the owner of the complaint. The owner was getting ready to leave the area.
8:41 p.m. – Caller reported that his trailer floor was vibrating, 5300 block of Main. Caller did not want officer contact but wanted the vibration to stop. Officer responded and checked the area. Unable to locate any vibration.
9:55 p.m. – Caller reported that she is not home and her camera inside the home was not working, 1300 block of Poplar. Officer checked residence. Everything secured.
10:58 p.m. – Caller reported a male screaming and kicking items outside of a residence, 4900 block of Main. Officer responded. It was a friendly discussion over politics. Subjects agreed to keep it down.
June 16
1:41 a.m. – Caller reported that he heard something bang against the side of his trailer, 5300 block of Main. Officer unable to locate any suspicious activity.
4:15 a.m. – Richard Lee Kintz-ley, 28, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on two original counts of third-degree theft, 12th and Elm.
6:25 a.m. – Caller reported a male lying on the sidewalk and street, 6th and Elm. Officer unable to locate anyone around.
6:48 a.m. – Caller reported receiving a counterfeit bill, 3239 Main St., Midway Market. Report taken.
10:31 a.m. – Caller reported that she had some medication stolen, 4900 block of Maple. Report taken.
12:09 p.m. – Caller turned in a 13-gallon bag of prescription drugs for disposal, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Items seized for disposal.
1:11 p.m. Possible cougar sighting, 26900 block Old Holley Road.
1:22 p.m. – Caller turned in a grocery bag of empty pill bottles for destruction, 4000 block of Osage. Items seized for disposal.
3:13 p.m. – Leesa Joanne Perdue, 42, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation (owes 10 days in jail) and Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 3200 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
4:41 p.m. – Caller reported a wire hanging over the sidewalk, 4th and Oak Terrace. Officer responded. It appeared to be a Comcast cable. Dispatch notified Comcast.
4:49 p.m. – Multiple callers reported people were using an excavator and taking down trees, Meadowlark and Evergreen. Traffic had to find alternate routes, and callers believed the workers did not have a permit for the work. They were concerned about a tree falling on houses in the area. Officer found subjects attempting to fall very large trees without a permit. Officers told the contractor to cease until receiving proper permits. Homeowner advised how to obtain permits.
5:02 p.m. – Caller reported that her brother was assaulted, did not come home during the night because he was at the emergency room and injuries will require surgery, 1100 block of 4th. Report taken.
5:06 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running at large, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer unable to locate.
7:13 p.m. – Rhett Jeremiah Tucker, 41, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Hope Center. Cited and released.
10:29 p.m. – Ryan Christian Hugie, 18, cited for passing on the left in an unsafe manner, 6000 block of Main.
June 15
9:21 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was hit in the Safeway parking lot the previous day, 1540 Main St. Report taken.
9:45 a.m. – Caller reported large bushes growing over a fence and knocking it down, 4400 block of Live Oak.
10:43 a.m. – Julio Anaya de la Cruz, 46, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 3103 Main St. Cited and released.
12:54 p.m. – Caller reported two small dogs running loose in the Police Department parking lot, 1950 Main St. Dogs placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.
1:09 p.m. – Caller reported a cougar sighting, 47th and railroad trestle.
1:57 p.m. – Gypsie Marie Esperum, 58, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.
2:13 p.m. – Caller located a dog, 1600 block of 12th. Kennel full. Caller held dog at her residence. Photos posted to social media.
2:56 p.m. – Caller reported a stray dog in her yard, 1400 block of 1st. Dog returned to owner by neigbbor.
3:25 p.m. – Johnny Lee Stone, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of improper use of 9-1-1, 1900 block of Long.
3:32 p.m. – James Robert Warrington, 38, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass.
8:04 p.m. – Callers reported hearing two gunshots, 1100 block of 4th. Officer located a male who advised that he shot his dog because it was out of control and biting people at his residence. Officer verified the deceased dog. No crimes committed at that time.
9:06 p.m. – Caller reported that a female had contacted him and advised a boat had been set on fire, old mill property off 43rd. Report taken for reckless burning.
June 14
5 a.m. – Caller reported that a male took her car and wanted an officer to help her retrieve it, 800 block of Dogwood. Officer responded. Vehicle wasn’t at location, and the male denied taking it. Vehicle signed as stolen.
8:09 a.m. – Richard Lee Kintz-ley, 28, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation and Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 18th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
10:48 a.m. – Caller reported he was almost hit in a crosswalk, 1600 block of Long. Officer contacted and counseled driver.
11:12 a.m. – Nelson Christopher Needham, 17, cited for studded tires, 800 block of 14th.
11:16 a.m. – Caller reported he watched a person steal his gas-powered scooter from the back of his pickup at about 11:30 p.m. the night before, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. He said he didn’t report it at the time because he was trying to find the person responsible. Report taken.
12:08 p.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Cited and released.
12:17 p.m. – Kalan Karen Richards, 22, cited on a Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree child neglect and two original counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, Osage and 41st. Caller had reported a child at a bus stop, and the caller could hear yelling and screaming inside a residence, a possible domestic dispute.
1:49 p.m. – Neighborhood dispute between two neighbors about a barking dog and antagonizing each other, 38300 block Highway 228. No crimes committed.
1:55 p.m. – Caller reported a Roadmaster bicycle found in the weeds, Long Street near the rodeo grounds. Officer located bicycle and returned it to the owner.
3:51 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle was found at Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp. Officer responded. Stolen vehicle recovered and released to owner.
4:57 p.m. – Caller reported that someone put garbage next to her garbage can, 1400 block of Tamarack. Officer contacted the male responsible for leaving the garbage. He advised that he did not know where the dumpster was and agreed to retrieve his garbage and apologize to the homeowner.
June 13
6:18 a.m. – Letter sent to registered owner of a vehicle that violated Oregon school bus stop law, 2300 block of Main.
7:56 a.m. – Caller reported a Ford F-150 parked for more than three weeks, 1800 block of Kalmia. It had no license plates, and the windshield was broken. Posted for removal.
11:20 a.m. – Caller reported that a juvenile smashed her daughter’s cell phone at school, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Report taken.
11:55 a.m. – Caller reported a bicycle left behind Downtown Lounge, 1234 Main St. Bike placed in found property.
2:32 p.m. – Caller reported appliances and multiple vehicles in a yard and that dogs at the location were not licensed, 4200 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.
4:23 p.m. – Caller reported that his wife was texting back and forth with someone she believed was a babysitter applicant, Sweet Home area. She exchanged photos of her children. When they left to meet the subject in person, the subject stated he or she had the wrong number. Caller requested the subject be counseled for his or her actions. Officer attempted phone contact, but no one answered.
9:59 p.m. – Caller located a dog at large, 5400 block of Nandina. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.
June 12
2:53 p.m. – Brandon Ryan Freeman, 23, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession of meth and harassment and Sweet Home warrants for third-degree theft and failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1198 38th Ave. Cited and released.
4:45 p.m. – Caller reported that multiple people come and go from a vacant property, and they have set up a camp near a creek, 800 block of Main. Officer contacted a male there and planned to find out who owns the property.
5:29 p.m. – Stolen firearm recovered by West Jordan, Utah, Police Department.
6:36 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog damaged a screen door while trying to attack the caller’s dog. Officer responded. The caller and owner of the dog came to a resolution. The dog owner will take care of the screen and attempt to find a new owner for the dog.
7:29 p.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 40th and Long. Officer unable to locate.
