10:25 a.m. – Caller reported her daughter used her card to withdraw money from an ATM. Officer responded, took report for fraudulent use of a credit card. Theft valued at $145. Case forwarded to juvenile department for review. 1279 40th Ave.
11:53 a.m. – Bryanna Sue Harley, 28, arrested for third-degree theft, 103 10th Avenue. Cited and released in the field.
12:05 p.m. – Caller reported his daughter’s boyfriend showed up and started yelling and threatening family members. Officer responded and counseled both parties. During the call, a citizen accidentally ran into the patrol car. No damages to either vehicle. 913 6th Ave.
12:09 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s child ran into his vehicle with a bicycle on June 17. Officer responded and contacted the child’s mother, who said she didn’t think it was her responsibility to pay for the damages. Officer advised vehicle owner of his civil options. 4610 Main St.
5:09 p.m. – Caller reported several vulgar images painted on Quartzville Road and U.S. Forest Service Road 11 by an individual occupying a Forest Service camp site. He was advised to cover the images with neutral paint or be charged with criminal mischief. Deputy to follow up as time allows.
5:31 p.m. – Deputy located a group of uncooperative persons illegally camping near milepost 16.5, Quartzville Road. They were advised to vacate the site.
6:05 p.m. – A female crashed a small dirt bike into the river near milepost 20, Quartzville Road. Female transported to hospital for treatment.
8:16 p.m. – Caller reported that neighbors were out of town and a dog was in their back yard, killing their chickens. Caller did not believe the dog belonged to those neighbors. Officer responded. Dog was returned to owner, who was actively looking for it. Dog owner was warned for dog at large and homeowner was advised of the situation and civil options. 1610 Elm St.
8:41 p.m. – Caller reported that during a Zoom meeting a female participant stopped responding and hadn’t moved in an hour. Officer responded and contacted female, who was not in need of assistance, but was lethargic and possibly intoxicated. She did not want medics called. 3137 Main St.
10:18 p.m. – Shauna Ray Harden, 26, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on attempt to elude charge, and Lebanon Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on multiple citations. Cited and released. 7-Eleven.
June 19
2:17 a.m. – Elisha Adams, 39, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on charges of giving false information to a police officer and third-degree theft, and Lebanon Municipal Court warrants for third-degree theft and failure to appear. Cited and released. 520 Main St.
3:54 p.m. – Deputy patrolled Quartzville Road and contacted eight illegal camps.
4:31 p.m. – Veronica Sue Szuch, 24, arrested on Albany police warrant for contempt of court and a Linn County Sheriff’s Office warrant for probation violation from a DUI arrest. Cited and released. 16th Avenue and Fir Street.
7:48 p.m. – Caller reported bag of drug-related items found by trash can. 580 Main St. Officer seized them for destruction.
8:39 p.m. – Caller was flying his drone and it landed in a neighbor’s yard. He reported they refused to return it. Officer responded. Drone was returned.
8:51 p.m. – Vehicle towed from 1745 Dogwood. Entered into LEDS.
June 18
2:01 a.m.- Caller reported that a homeless couple set up a tent and when asked to leave, they began threatening the caller, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Officer responded. The couple had been invited by the resident’s son. The resident did not want them there. The couple packed up belongings and left.
10:01 a.m. – Officer tagged five abandoned vehicles for removal, 900 block of Cedar.
11:17 a.m. – Officer tagged abandoned vehicle for removal, 1600 block of 17th.
11:22 a.m. – Officer tagged abandoned vehicle for removal, 500 block 17th.
12:16 p.m. – Caller reported a stolen vehicle, 41900 block of Marks Ridge. Report taken.
12:55 p.m. – Caller reported two cattle in the roadway, 28500 block of Pleasant Valley. Deputy contacted the owner, who was on the scene, contained the cattle and was fixing the fence.
1:07 p.m. – Eric Steinborn, 42, and Nancy Ford, 62, arrested on warrants from other agencies. Caller reported a verbal argument in the 300 block of West Holley Road. Officer responded and contacted Steinborn, who told him he yelled after tripping over a large toy. He was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on a fourth-degree assault charge.
2:08 p.m. – Officer tagged two abandoned vehicles for removal, 4099 Osage St.
2:40 p.m. – Officer tagged abandoned vehicle for removal, 1313 Hawthorne.
3:25 p.m. – Douglas William Huerta, 45, arrested on warrant for parole violation after traffic stop. Lodged at Linn County Jail.
4:09 p.m. – Caller reported finding a black purse in the grass by Foster Lake. Placed in property storage.
4:52 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into the caller’s vehicle, 44500 block of Quartzville. Nothing of value stolen.
4:54 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor had been transported by medics the day before and that her dogs were locked in the house at 341 8th Ave. Caller was concerned whether they had food and water. Also, ducks and chickens were running loose in the driveway. Officer responded. Neighbors helped round up the birds and owner was reported to be on her way home.
6:13 p.m. – Caller reported loaded log truck parked in 1100 block of Mountain View. Officer responded and contacted the truck’s operator, advising him that city ordinance prohibited it being parked on the street. Operator said he would check to see if he could park it in a nearby church parking lot.
6:29 p.m. – Mary Ellen Lazard, 33, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, 532 6th Ave. Monmouth police received a DHS referral and, while investigating, discovered that Lazard had not registered since 2015. Cited and released due to jail bed capacity.
7:09 p.m. – Ashley Kay Miles, 31, arrested at Linn County Jail on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on a third-degree theft charge.
June 17
8:04 a.m. – Jamie Daniel Carpenter, 44, cited for driving while suspended and open container, Main and 13th.
8:12 a.m. – Officer located a female in the alleyway behind 1119 Main St., Officer gave her a trespass warning, and she agreed to gather her belongings and leave.
9:01 a.m. – Officer tagged an abandoned vehicle for removal, Kalmia and Mountain View.
9:13 a.m. – Officer tagged an abandoned vehicle for removal, 900 block of Elm.
9:18 a.m. – Officer tagged an abandoned vehicle for removal, 400 block of 5th.
9:20 a.m. – Caller found a bag a drugs on the meter in front of Sweet Home Emergency Ministries, 1115 Long St. Officer responded. The bag was empty. Officer disposed of it on site.
9:45 a.m. – Officer tagged an abandoned vehicle for removal, 1200 block of 40th.
10:13 a.m. – Officer tagged an abandoned vehicle for removal, 900 block of Dogwood.

3:10 p.m. – Officer tagged an abandoned vehicle for removal, 400 block of 5th.
3:11 p.m. – Caller witnessed a male yank a female to the ground, 1100 bloc of 12th. No injury. Report taken. Officer unable to contact the male. The female did not want to pursue charges.
3:39 p.m. – Officer tagged an abandoned vehicle for removal, 1000 block of 23rd.
5:27 p.m. – Officer tagged two abandoned vehicles for removal, 700 block of Long.
6:22 p.m. – Security company reported multiple silent alarms from location, 800 block of Oak Terrace. Officer responded and located a female who had fallen. Officer helped the female up. The female did not need medics.
7:27 p.m. – Sara McBee, 28, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and Marion County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 2200 block of Main. Vehicle returned to owner.
10:53 p.m. – Caller turned in a wallet found at 1540 Main St., Safeway. Item placed in found property.
June 16
12:40 a.m. – Robert Dwayne Pollock, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Linn County.
10 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a female who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, 24th and railroad tracks. Officer contacted a female who said she was out collecting rocks and looking for jewelry she lost a couple of days earlier. Officer advised her that she was trespassing on the railroad. She agreed to leave.
1:37 p.m. – Caller reported a package delivered to a residence but that person no longer lived there, 39600 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Item placed in property for safekeeping.
3:15 p.m. – Heather Mae Kelly, 40, cited and released in field for third-degree theft and Albany warrant for first-degree criminal trespass, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Caller had reported a female walking out with beer without paying for it.
3:51 p.m. – Caller reported a dog just showed up in his backyard, 500 block of Juniper. Dog placed in kennel. Animal control advised.
3:58 p.m. – Caller reported items stolen on June 9 at approximately 9:38 p.m., 621 Main St., Thriftway. Caller had video surveillance. Report taken for third-degree theft.
7:30 p.m. – Caller reported damage to a residence, 600 block of 12th. Caller wanted the information documented and extra patrol in the area.
9:04 p.m. – Caller reported that three vehicles had bear mace sprayed on them, 1200 block of Clark Mill. Report taken. Another party trespassed from location.
June 15
10:23 a.m. – Caller turned in a wallet found on Marks Ridge. Placed in found property. Message sent to possible owner.
12:46 p.m. – Officer located a disabled motor home in the intersection, Pleasant Valley and Main. Driver was able to get the vehicle started and moved out of the intersection.
12:51 p.m. – Kellie Ann Hesson, 53, turned herself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
1:10 p.m. – Barbara Kapicka, 57, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for offensive littering, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart.
3:21 p.m. – Caller received a fraudulent check in the mail, 1530 Tamarack St., Tamarack Ridge Estates. Information noted.
3:43 p.m. – Caller paid for a second-hand television reported that the seller would not give it to him, 1530 Tamarack St., Tamarack Ridge Estates. Investigation continuing for theft by deception.
4:46 p.m. – Theodore Eugene Shinall, 42, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation, 1540 Main St., Safeway.
9:07 p.m. – Caller reported a male just sprayed mace into the cab of his pickup, 1200 block of Clark Mill. Officer contacted the involved parties. Information noted.
10:41 p.m. – Sara Kay McBee King, 28, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court, 2300 block of Harding. Caller had reported people with flashlights inside a vacant house. Officer responded and contacted the brother of the owner of the residence. A female subject will be the new resident of the address. Caller advised.
