June 21

9:34 a.m. – Caller reported catalytic converter stolen off 1999 For F250 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. the previous day in 44500 block Quartzville Road. Estimated value: $350. Report taken.

10:03 a.m. – Caller reported theft of Oregon license plate number ZXQ236 from a 2004 Dodge 2500 sometime between June 10 and June 21, while parked in Lebanon or at Green Peter Dam. Report taken.

7:15 p.m. – Bambi Funk, 39, cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrant for driving under the influence of intoxicants and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for possession of meth, Sweet Home Police Department.

10:28 p.m. – Catherine Jean Hampton, 31, cited for driving with a suspended license and failure to carry proof of insurance, Mobil. Cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of fraudulent use of a credit card.

June 22

8:25 a.m. – Skylar James Samson, 31, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second degree forgery, Lebanon Police Department.

1:22 p.m. – Caller reported an unknown individual hit her vehicle on June 20 while it was parked in a parking lot. Damage estimated at $2,100. Report taken.

6:01 p.m. – Jon Julian Robertson, 50, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of harassment, Lebanon.

June 23

10:43 a.m. – Caller reports duffle bag sitting in front of location, 790 Long St. Officer responded, property seized.

4:42 p.m. – James Robert Warrington, 42, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and failure to appear on an original charge of offensive littering, 13th Ave/Kalmia Street.

6:54 p.m. – Eric Raymond Shipp, 46, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, 1435 22nd Ave.

June 24

12:50 p.m. – Caller reports item taken from vehicle last night, requests phone contact, 1937 Main St. Dollar General. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle and second degree theft, approximate loss of value $370.

6:00 p.m. – Kaitlyn Carol Tibbs, 24, arrested for failure to appear on an original charge of animal abandonment, Albany Police Department.

8:10 p.m. – Caller reports her vehicle was hit while she was in Safeway, 1540 Main St. Officer responded, report taken, approximate value $100.

June 25

7:35 a.m. – Caller reports catalytic converter theft, 1259 Linden Court. Officer responded, report taken for first-degree theft and first degree criminal mischief.

8:47 a.m. – Pamela Marie Henderson, 63, cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of hit and run, 1950 Main St. Sweet Home Police Department.

10:02 a.m. – Dennis James Citro, 46, cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unlawful purchase of a firearm, 1950 Main St. Sweet Home Police Department.

10:18 a.m. – Caller reports catalytic converter taken off motor home, 4691 Main St. Sweet Home RV Center. Officer responded, report taken for first degree theft and first degree criminal mischief, approximate loss of value $1,500. Business located another motor home missing a catalytic converter, will be contacting owner to follow up.

10:31 a.m. – Hope Carlene Panages, 45, cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree disorderly conduct, 6000 Block Main.

10:47 a.m. – Caller expressed concerns about the potential for a crash between log trucks and Gambler 500 participants because there is no communication between the two sides via CB, as is the case with normal logging traffic. Area in question, in the 44400 block Calapooia Drive/Upper Calapooia Drive, is open to the public Sheriff’s Office determined no crimes or violations were occurring.

11:14 a.m. – Caller reports catalytic converter taken off motor home, 4691 Main St. Sweet Home RV Center. Officer responded, report taken for first-degree theft and first degree criminal mischief, approximate loss of value $1,500.

1:24 p.m. – Heather Steen-Cotten, 35, of Camdenton, Mo., arrested after detective from Eldon Police Department, Eldon, Mo., advised Sheriff’s Office that a suspect he was looking for was possibly in Sweet Home. Steen-Cotton was located and arrested in 2300 block Birch Street on active warrant for parental kidnap of minor, lodged in Linn County Jail on $10,000 bail. She will be extradited to Missouri. Minor who was with her was taken into protective custody by DHS until family could arrive from Missouri.

7:48 p.m. – Leonard Finnell, 18, cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, Trailer Villa.

9 p.m. – Caller reported female trying to swim across Foster Lake, unable to return to shore. She was rescued by boats in the area before a deputy could get to the location.

9:57 p.m. – Deputy responded to illegal camp, found family by water’s edge at Foster Lake. Camp included two women, young children and male in a wheelchair. Due to late hour, they were allowed to stay till following morning, since it would have taken a few hours for them to pack up and deputy was concerned about their safety in doing so in the dark; 43700 block North River Drive.

10:10 p.m. – Paul Kizer, 35, of Sweet Home, arrested for reckless endangering (four counts), reckless driving, eluding officers, unlawful use of firearm, felon in possession of firearm and second-degree criminal mischief, 44500 block Highway 20/Quartzville Road. Report taken.

June 26

12:10 a.m. – Annie Geo Avery, 27, cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for probation violation dog at large, 4610 Main St.

1:10 a.m. – Caller told Sheriff’s Office she had smoked too much marijuana and was having a panic attack, 1000 block North River Drive. Cleared by medics and got a ride home.

1:36 a.m. – Kimberly Ann Bachmeyer, 43, cited for driving with a suspended license, Clark Mill Rd/Main St. Cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft.

12:34 p.m. – Six parking citations issued for area east of Lewis Creek Park entrance, 44400 block North River Drive.

2:49 p.m. – Steven Stitt, 36, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree escape. Arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation burglary, 621 Main St. Thriftway.

3:49 p.m. – Amanda Leah Binks, 28, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Albany Police Department.

4:09 p.m. – Caller reported two juvenile females had stolen his Intex King Kool Lounge inflatable, valued at $20. Deputy spoke with juveniles and inflatable was returned to rightful owner. 44900 block Quartzville Road.

4:45 p.m. – Hope Panages, 45, cited and released for harassment, 6000 Block Main St.

4:53 p.m. – Deputy issued parking citations to vehicles that did not have trailers attached, which were parked illegally in boat trailer only parking spots at Calkins Boat Ramp, 44500 block Highway 20.

5:28 p.m. – Deputy made contact with vehicle parked in median of 27600 block Highway 20/Sun Lane. Driver was looking for an address. Deputy had driver move off highway and assisted with directions.

6:36 p.m. – Kira Faye Wygle cited for speeding 57 mph in a 45-mph zone near 23rd and Main.

6:53 p.m. – Noninjury motor vehicle crash in 42000 block North River Drive. Adult male driver fled scene. Investigation continuing.

7:07 p.m. – Brandon Hopper, 45, of Cascadia, cited and released on warrants following report of domestic disturbance in 27800 block High Deck Road.

7:34 p.m. – Leonard John Finnell cited for driving with a suspended license, 22nd & Larch.

7:46 p.m. – Joshua Thomas Henderson cited for speeding 67 mph in a 45-mph zone, 3200 Block Main.

8:43 p.m. – Caller reports theft, 1435 22nd Ave. Report taken for second-degree theft, loss of value $700.

June 27

6:01 a.m. – Caller reports unknown male is sleeping in caller’s vehicle, 1265 Poplar St. Officer responded, Timothy Ames Jr. arrested for first degree criminal trespass and interfering with law enforcement. Arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation burglary and Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and failure to comply on an original charge of theft.

6:55 a.m. – Caller reports money and items stolen out of wallet, 877 14th Ave. Sankey Park. Report taken, approximate loss of value $650.

7:18 a.m. – Anthony Wade Holden, 31, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Oregon State Police.

7:43 a.m. – Caller located a wallet at location, Old Morse Brothers Pond. Officer responded, placed in property.

7:48 a.m. – Large tree branch fell onto roadway in 29700 block Pleasant Valley/McDowell Creek Drive. Roadway was cleared.

11:57 a.m. – Deputy issued parking citations to vehicles that did not have trailers attached, which were parked illegally in boat trailer only parking spots at Calkins Boat Ramp, 44500 block Highway 20.

12:01 p.m. – Deputy issued parking citations to vehicles parked illegally at McKercher Park, 37800 block Highway 228.

2:24 p.m. – Caller reports motor vehicle crash at location, Main St./Wiley Creek. Officer responded, report taken. Damage over $2,500. Adriyanna Izabelle Rosas, 19, cited for dangerous left turn and driving uninsured.

5:57 p.m. – Sheriff’s dispatch received report from “less than reliable source,” per Sheriff’s log, about possible fire on Quartzville Road between mileposts 17.2 and 22. Area was checked. No fires.

6:18 p.m. – Taylor Madison Dirks cited for speeding 45 mph in a 25-mph zone, 12th and Main.

6:35 p.m. – George Fred Doyle, 45, cited and released on Albany Municipal warrant for contempt of court. Cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, 2500 Block Main.

7:36 p.m. – Area around second bridge was “heavily congested” with traffic, due to large group of juveniles congregating and blocking the road with bodies and vehicles, according to Sheriff’s report. Owners were advised to move vehicles and juveniles were told to stop jumping from the bridge.

7:42 p.m. – Joshua Wayne Welch, 32, cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of meth possession. Cited and released on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a second-degree charge/probation violation. Cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge. Cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, Sun Motel.

7:48 p.m. – Samuel Ayers cited for driving while suspended after being stopped for operating a caged go-cart on county road, 44700 block Quartzville Road/North River Drive.
