June 1

7:46 a.m. – Caller reported hearing a loud bang, like a gunshot, 1100 block of Second. Officer responded. Unable to locate.

9:24 a.m. – Levi Steven Richner, 31, cited for driving uninsured and speeding, 41-25, Mountain View and Juniper. Vehicle impounded.

10:28 a.m. – Three callers reported a loud boom, with one indicating she had seen juveniles setting off fireworks, Fourth and Highway 228. Officer responded. Unable to locate.

10:50 a.m. – Daniel Lee Kellum, 38, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, Long near Terrace. Cited and released.

11:09 a.m. – Caller reported her credit card had been used without her permission, 4100 block of Main. Report taken.

11:23 a.m. – Daniel Lee Kellum, 38, arrested for possession of meth, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Officer allegedly located meth on prisoner.

May 31

7:36 a.m. – Caller reported finding a can with marijuana on it, 13th and Kalmia. Seized for disposal.

11:32 a.m. – Brian Lee Lindsay, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrants for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1250 Nandina St. Also charged with third-degree criminal mischief and attempting to elude a police officer on foot. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:52 p.m. – Christopher Michael Carpenter, 19, cited for failure to use seatbelt, 4000 block of Long.

12:59 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into two vehicles, 800 block of Dogwood. Report taken.

1:13 p.m. – Officer located drug paraphernalia on a male during an arrest, 1250 Main St. Paraphernalia seized.

1:50 p.m. – Stephanie Lynne Stephenson, 50, cited for driving uninsured, 23rd and Long.

3:15 p.m. – Sarah Kathern Rodgers, 34, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 2331 Main St., Pine Tree Antiques.

4:01 p.m. – Donald Ray Davis, 46, cited for failure to use seatbelt, Main and Clark Mill.

5:26 p.m. – Caller found a hypodermic needle, 900 block of Main. Seized for disposal.

6 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Stolen property valued at $54.

7:21 p.m. – Leesa Joanne Perdue, 39, cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance, First and Highway 228.

8:48 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle rolled over in her yard, 3700 block of Long. No injuries. No citations at this time. Driver was Justin Lee Marshall, 21.

9:38 p.m. – Caller reported medication stolen, 4100 block of Osage. Report taken. Valued at $150.

10:10 p.m. – Caller reported an explosion outside of his house, 300 block of Juniper. Officer responded. Unable to locate.

10:29 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle running stop signs and speeding in the avenues, 10th and Alder. Officer responded. Unable to locate.

May 30

9:58 a.m. – Loris David Whitton, 59, arrested for possession of meth, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

11:37 a.m. – Caller reported a female living in an RV for more than a month, 1400 block of Evergreen. Referred to code enforcement.

11:59 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 1200 block of 46th. Referred to code enforcement.

1:05 p.m. – Caller found drug paraphernalia at a rental house she was cleaning, 4900 block of Locust. Items seized.

1:09 p.m. – Mary Ruth Brooks, 52, arrested for fourth-degree assault, 12th and Kalmia. Cited and released. Caller had reported two people fighting.

1:57 p.m. – Caller reported his car was hit within the past hour, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

3:17 p.m. – Garrett Lynn Delano, 16, taken into custody for first-degree criminal mischief, 4529 Long St. Referred to Juvenile Department and released to father.

3:59 p.m. – Elizabeth Lynn Brown, 32, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrants for failure to appear on a criminal citation and probation violation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree forgery.

4:36 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 4300 block of Airport. Referred to code enforcement.

4:50 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle left without paying for fuel, 1306 Main St. Report taken. Fuel valued at $20.

8:43 p.m. – Caller reported someone cut a hole in the fence at Pine Tree Antiques, 2331 Main St. Report taken. Damage estimated at $150.

May 29

8:05 a.m. – Caller reported a theft, 899 Main St., Napa. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

10:12 a.m. – Caller reported a nuisance building, 700 block of 23rd. Referred to code enforcement.

10:25 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a residence, 4900 block of Locust. Officer responded. Information noted. Renter was incarcerated in jail and did not want an officer to conduct an investigation.

12:06 p.m. – Caller reported a tree obstructing view at intersection, First and Evergreen. Referred to code enforcement.

2:09 p.m. – Caller reported a male living in an RV, 1400 block of 42nd. Referred to code enforcement.

4:11 p.m. – Caller reported mail stolen over the weekend, 1400 block of 47th. Information noted.

5:32 p.m. – Keith Wayne Wolfe, 38, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

6:10 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject dropped a bottle containing marijuana, 2000 block of Main. Property seized for destruction.

6:58 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Alcoholic beverages valued at $2.64.

7:11 p.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male stumbling into the roadway nearly hitting her vehicle, 1800 block of Main. Caller called back and reported the male was urinating while walking down the sidewalk. Officer contacted the male, who stated he was just out for a walk following a dispute at his residence. He also said he urinated in bushes. He was warned for his actions.

7:12 p.m. – Caller reported a bottle with white powdery substance at location, 1800 block of Main. Item seized for destruction.

9:40 p.m. – Shannon Marie Richards, 41, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 300 W. Holley Road, in connection to earlier reported theft at Thriftway, 621 Main St.

6:18 a.m. – Caller reported a truck parked in front of church in a no-parking area, 800 block of Mountain View. Referred to code enforcement.

9:02 a.m. – Caller reported cameras were taken from Weddle Bridge, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Report taken. Value about $100.

9:15 a.m. – Caller found a key at 18th and Long. Placed in found property.

9:18 a.m. – Caller found a driver’s license at Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Placed in found property.

10:22 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 900 block of 23rd. Referred to code enforcement.

10:24 a.m. – Caller reported tall weeds and grass, 900 block of 23rd. Referred to code enforcement.

1:31 p.m. – Caller reported a constant noise at location, 1000 block of Cedar. Referred to code enforcement.

2:36 p.m. – Jock Eugene Edwards, 25, arrested for probation violation, Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:42 p.m. – Sara Ann Bejar-Suarez, 31, arrested for attempted murder, two counts of first-degree criminal trespass, menacing and unlawful use of a weapon, 18th and Willow. Caller had reported that his ex-girlfriend shot at him. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:16 p.m. – Caller reported tall weeds around the city’s water pump, 400 block of Strawberry. Referred to code enforcement.

4:13 p.m. – Sirena Marie Patricio, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Lebanon. Cited and released.

4:31 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle on jacks parked in the street, 2200 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

6:24 p.m. – Caller reported that someone smashed out the back window of her vehicle, 700 block of Long. Information noted.

May 27

5:06 a.m. – Caller reported tires on two vehicles had been flattened, 2200 block of Kalmia. Report taken.

8:50 a.m. – Caller reported a male trying to break into homes, 900 block of Seventh. Officer unable to locate.

8:50 a.m. – Dustin Andrew Matney, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, 308 Seventh Ave. Cited and released.

9:09 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle worth $180, 300 block of Seventh. Report taken.

10:54 a.m. – Emory Jordan Jamison, 17, taken into custody for first-degree criminal mischief, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Referred to Juvenile Department and released.

3:46 p.m. – Caller reported a truck and trailer parked in front his house for more than 2 months, 1300 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.

3:58 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s cat defecating in her yard on a daily basis, 4100 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

5:06 p.m. – Kimbelee Lynn Bell, 23, cited for careless driving in two-vehicle crash, 1000 block of Main. No injuries.

5:46 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle was hit at Cornerstorne Church, 1234 Long St. Report taken.

May 26

7:28 a.m. – Caller reported two goats walking down the street, Third and Juniper. Officer responded. Unknown who they belong to. Caller contained them and would contact animal control.

1:26 p.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 26, arrested for second-degree theft, 1400 block of Long. Cited and released.

2:51 p.m. – Caller reported an ornamental saw was stolen during the past two weeks, 1100 block of 24th. Report taken. Saw valued at $300.

5:41 p.m. – James Michael

Heaberlin, 19, arrested on Linn County warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft.

7:40 p.m. – Caller reported someone stole items from her home, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken.

9:29 p.m. – Robert Paul

McKinney, 47, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1322 Sunset Lane. Transported to Lebanon Community Hospital.

May 25

1:37 a.m. – Lacey Marie Nicole Davidson, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, 12th and Nandina. Cited and released.

7:32 a.m. – Caller reported someone is locked behind on a road past Whitcomb Bridge, 47700 block of Quartzville. Subjects were located behind a Cascade Timber Consulting gate. They reported the gate was open when they arrived to watch meteor showers. The lock on the gate was in place but not locked. The subjects were cooperative and left when advised they could not be there.

8:43 a.m. – Caller reported his wife found their mail in the ditch, and it had been opened, 1400 block of 47th. Report taken.

8:57 a.m. – Officer located an abandoned vehicle and posted it for removal, 1800 block of 18th.

11:47 a.m. – Caller reported that a male who seemed confused was walking back and forth in a crosswalk, 12th and Nandina. Officer responded. Male was not a threat to himself or others and would leave the area.

2 p.m. – Ryan Logan Binks, 21, arrested for third-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespass and contempt of court, 12th and Juniper. Cited and released.

2:18 p.m. – Caller reported the ground has looked wet for the past couple of days and felt soft to the touch. Officer responded. Water was coming from a hole in the asphalt and flowing to the east shoulder. The officer noted the road was soft to the touch, and he advised Public Works.

5:57 p.m. – Caller reported that her purse is missing, and she had a suspicious bag in her house, 1300 block of 13th. Report taken.

6:10 p.m. – Caller reported that a male subject known for mental instability is yelling and in the nude near the Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp. Officer responded. Male had no weapons, only a piece of rebar. Male was advised that the area is private property, and he moved on.

6:41 p.m. – Heath Lee Smith, 32, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

7:07 p.m. – Deputy left a note for no parking or overnight camping, 46800 block of Quartzville.

7:09 p.m. – Deputy left a note for no parking or overnight camping, 47300 block of Quartzville.

7:20 p.m. – Deputy dismantled a fire ring, 48900 block of Quartzville.

8:35 p.m. – Deputy put out a smoldering fire, 50400 block of Quartzville.

8:47 p.m. – Daniel Joseph Carrico, 30, arrested for second-degree theft and contempt of court, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male leaving with items worth $44 in a cart.

May 24

3:18 p.m. – Lynette Irene Leslie (Johnson), 35, cited for failure to use helmet while using a motorized scooter, Main and 13th.

3:29 p.m. – Caller reported a male was threatening to shoot neighbors, 42400 block of North River. Caller got the gun away from the male. The incident stemmed from a civil dispute between neighbors who share a driveway. One side is preparing to log, and the other is unhappy about it. There was a report one of the females brandished a firearm during an altercation. The firearm was seized, and information will be forwarded to the district attorney for review.

3:50 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a lawnmower worth $50. Report taken.

3:59 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor is a hoarder, with mold growing over the fence, which is leaning over, and there is stuff in the front yard, 1200 block of Nandina. Referred to code enforcement.

11:46 p.m. – Donald Ray Watkins, 50, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 12th and Main. Cited and released.

11:40 p.m. – People were about to set up camp, 47200 block of Quartzville. Deputy advised there is no camping, and they were planning to move on.

May 22

6:22 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 27900 block of Riggs Hill. No injuries. Minor damage. Insurance information exchanged.

May 21

8:42 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was stolen, 41200 block of Upper Calapooia. He found it less than a half mile down the road with a blown motor. Report taken.

9:45 a.m. – Caller reported that someone ordered a phone and charged it to the caller’s Verizon account, 41400 block of McDowell Creek. The phone was sent to Kansas City, Mo. Report taken.
