12:59 p.m. – Caller reported an eastbound white lifted pickup with matching canopy traveling east on highway 228. A passenger threw a beer can out the window, and the vehicle crossed the center line almost hitting another vehicle. Officer unable to locate.
1:11 p.m. – Angela Dianne May, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft, 2000 block of Willow. Cited and released.

10:42 a.m. – Leslie Michelle Gerard, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of offensive littering, Lincoln City. Cited and released.
11:15 a.m. – Caller reported a stray dog, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Officer picked up the dog and contacted the owner, who had just adopted the dog but was going to return it to Safe Haven because the owner cannot keep it in the kennel.

5:04 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a scam call reporting he defrauded the IRS, 000 block of Nandina. Information noted. Caller given information to contact the Federal Trade Commission.
5:13 p.m. – Caller reported a female sleeping behind the building, 4804 Main St., Spoleto’s. She would not wake up. She would just moan and groan. Officer contacted female and sent her on her way.

7:20 p.m. – Jesse Jacob Whitebird, 20, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving while suspended and Marion County warrant for second-degree theft, 1300 block of Tamarack. Transported to Linn County Jail.
7:52 p.m. – Joshua Wayne Welch, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to an officer, Lebanon. Cited and released.
7:58 p.m. – Matthew Allen Pitts, 27, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 4690 Main St. Caller had reported that a pit bull had a child cornered. Another caller reported an unruly dog being held at gunpoint.
May 31
12:57 a.m. – In a late log entry from May 28, Sweet Home police arrested Kevin Lee Strunk, 39, for two counts of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, two counts of second-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:52 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog is getting more aggressive when it runs loose, 1300 block of Quince. Owner warned for dog at large.
10:22 a.m. – Caller reported that her front license plate was taken, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Rear plate seized.
10:45 a.m. – Caller reported a stray dog, 900 block of 15th. Placed in kennel.
11:30 a.m. – Caller reported eight homeless subjects hanging out in the City Hall parking lot screaming and fighting. One of them gave a juvenile a light for his cigarette. Caller said it’s an ongoing problem. Officer contacted subjects.
12:13 p.m. – Clinton Jack Williams, 28, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant for contempt of court on original charges of interfering with making a report (owed five days in jail) and criminal mischief (owes 10 days in jail), 1140 12th Ave., City Hall. Transported to Linn County Jail.
12:38 p.m. – Caller reported a Honda pressure washer taken from his residence, 24800 block Brush Creek. Caller believed it was taken sometime last week. Report taken.
3:23 p.m. – Caller said four people were moored to float near Lewis Creek Park. Their boat was broken down. Linn County Sheriff’s marine deputy towed the boat back to the boat ramp.
6:16 p.m. – Wayne Cole Howser, 40, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and a Tillamook County warrant for release violation on original charge of attempting to elude; charged with attempting to elude; and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Sankey Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:49 p.m. – Just past White’s Electronics on Pleasant Valley Road, there was a load of dirt that was dumped on the roadway. It was pushed off to the side of the road when deputies arrived. It is Unknown who dumped it.
7:11 p.m. – Caller reported four males fighting in the parking lot near the boat ramp, Sunnyside Park. Investigation continuing.
7:17 p.m. – Caller reported his neighbor’s dog was in his house, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Officer contacted owner, who would keep the dog in the yard.
May 30
8:36 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office assisted Oregon State Police with a possible domestic situation. Caller had reported a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway, 46100 block of Highway 20. A male appeared to be dragging a female back to the vehicle. Deputies checked the area but could not locate the vehicle.
10:54 p.m. – Caller said his wife was lost in the mountains, Hoodoo Ski Bowl. Last seen at the Pacific Crest Trail Head. The female was located at 4:52 a.m. by Search and Rescue
2:24 p.m. – Caller found a digital recorder, Shea Point. Placed in found property.
3:23 p.m. – Keith Wayne Wolfe, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Lincoln County. Cited and released.
3:53 p.m. – Caller located a dug running loose in the parking lot, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Placed in kennel and picked up by dog control.
9:05 p.m. – Caller reported a male shooting small children with an Airsoft gun, Fourth and Ironwood. Officer contacted the male, who said he was showing the airsoft gun to his children and shooting a soda can. Officer warned him for firing the gun in the city limits.
11:54 p.m. – Caller reported a male at the Lebanon emergency room with an accidental gunshot wound the hand, 1700 block of Ninth. Officer investigated. Gunshot was accidental. Nothing suspicious.
May 29
5:31 p.m. – Jeffrey Imann, 29, was cited for unsafe operation of a jet ski. Two jet skiers ran into each other. One person was injured.
7:37 p.m. – Donald Ray Gamble, 61, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1351 Clark Mill Road. Caller had reported a female yelling for help, possibly from a trailer in the backyard.
7:41 p.m. – Caller reported four vehicles racing and passing in the fast and center lanes at 100 mph, eastbound Highway 20. Officer unable to locate.
8:41 p.m. – Caller reported a large dog getting through a fence and trying to attack her dogs, 1400 block of 42nd. Second caller witnessed the incident. Caller just wanted the dog’s owner counseled.
8:49 p.m. – Officer located a vehicle stolen out of Lebanon, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Returned to owner.
9:41 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject following him from his residence on Vista Lane, sideswiping his vehicle and damaging the left side of his vehicle.
10:31 p.m. – Caller turned in a camera found at Shea Point. Placed in found property.
11:11 p.m. – Caller reported road rage, 40500 block of Highway 228. He was pushed off the road by another vehicle and had significant damage to his vehicle. Investigation continuing.
11:45 p.m. – Caller reported hearing people in a vacant house behind hers, 1000 block of 14th. Officer checked the area and found signs that people had been around. No one was around at the time.
May 28
9:34 a.m. – A male and a female were fighting, 40600 block Weatherly. The couple was arguing and the male was trying to leave in the vehicle when the female jumped in front of the car to try to prevent him from leaving. The car ran over her foot. She declined medical attention. No one cited or arrested.
12:28 p.m. – There was a beagle-type dog running through Riverbend Park. It appeared to be injured. It did have a collar with a small leash on it.
May 27
3:56 p.m. – Caller wanted to talk about a dog at the location, 28900 block of Weatherly. Caller was upset that the dog, a St. Bernard/Boxer mix, barks at her as she walks by. She said comes off the property and out onto the street when she walks by. It was unclear whether the dog was or was not leaving its own property when it did this. The dog owner was talked to about her dog possibly leaving its property when people walk by.
May 25
2:49 p.m. – A juvenile taken into custody for second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief, 26300 block of Old Holley. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center. Caller had reported the theft of a laptop and other items.
4:24 p.m. – Caller reported mail theft, 29600 block of Santiam Terrace. The caller discovered a dress she ordered online was delivered and stolen from her residential mailbox.
6:54 p.m. – Caller reported dog with a leash running throughout Riverbend Park. The caller said the dog had been running loose for two days and no one can catch it. Deputies were unable to locate the dog.
