8:32 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor living at the end of Old Hufford Road found a full-sized Ram pickup jack-knifed with a dump trailer near milepost 3. The vehicle combination completely blocked the road, isolating all residents east of the event location. A deputy investigated and learned that a 45-year-old Lebanon man had attempted to drive a dump trailer load of horse manure into the forest to illegally dump it down a dead-end road. While trying to pull the loaded trailer up the road in approximately 6 inches of snow and ice, he lost traction and jack-knifed the trailer. Report taken.
March 9
4:39 a.m. – Ryan Matthew MacNab, 27, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear, two Linn County warrants for failure to appear and two Albany warrants for failure to appear, 27400 block of Fern Ridge. Transported to Linn County Jail.
1:23 p.m. – Caller reported she believes she was scammed, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Officer provided a phone number for the Federal Trade Commission and assisted in contacting the caller’s bank. Information noted.
1:58 p.m. – Caller reported dogs following a postal carrier, 1200 block of 49th. Officer responded. The dogs had returned home. Owners said their daughter left the gate open.
2:56 p.m. – Caller reported that a male with a restraining order went to the neighbor’s residence where the caller was visiting, 3100 block of Main. Information noted.
3:23 p.m. – Caller reported a fender bender, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Information exchanged. Damage less than $2,500.
3:38 p.m. – Caller reported her husband found a knife at Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Property seized.
4:05 p.m. – Caller reported fraud, 28400 block of Liberty.
4:13 p.m. – Caller reported that someone attempted to gain entry into the caller’s home and pop cans had been taken, 1800 block of Fir. Information noted. Officer found no evidence anyone attempted to gain entry.
4:59 p.m. – Caller reported that a female hit him with her vehicle, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Information noted. Officer to attempt to contact female.
5:39 p.m. – Calvin Alvin Ames, 53, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Albany. Cited and released.
6:43 p.m. – Caller reported that her soon-to-be daughter-in-law just kicked the caller in the chest, 100 block of 7th. Report taken to be forwarded to city attorney for review.
9:19 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle slid off the road, 26800 block of Old Holley.
9:45 p.m. – Kaitlyn Rae Carpenter, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 18th and Main. Cited and released.
March 8
2:19 a.m. – Caller reported her windshield had been scratched up in the previous week, 42000 block of North River. Report taken for criminal mischief.
8:40 a.m. – Timothy Tyrell Combs, 36, arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended and Linn County warrants for probation violation on original charge of supply contraband and failure to appear on a citation, 1189 43rd Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.
8:54 a.m. – Caller reported that a male stole items and took off, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer contacted the caller. The store was able to recover most of the property. Caller requested the male be trespassed.
8:58 a.m. – Caller reported a black car had been towed to the 600 block of 3rd, emptied and abandoned. Vehicle posted for removal.
10:52 a.m. – Caller reported a male found a wallet, Long Street at bridge. Placed in found property.
12:18 p.m. – Kendra Lynn Montoya, 20, arrested for third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of attempted third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Transported to Lebanon.
12:23 p.m. – Caller requested officers trespass a homeless male who hangs around the location all day, 501 Main St., Sugar City Brew. Male gone upon arrival. Male to be trespassed.
4:25 p.m. – Caller found a wallet on top of mailboxes, 1200 block of 44th. Placed in found property.
5:27 p.m. – Caller found a pillow and duffel bag on the trails, 16th and Dogwood. Officer disposed of items.
March 7
1:44 a.m. – Medics dispatched to an unconscious person on the sidewalk in front of Downtown Lounge, 1234 Main St.
4:26 a.m. – Darrell Loren Schilling, 50, cited and released in field on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of harassment, second-degree criminal trespass, theft of services and two counts of contempt of court, 4300 block of Main.
6:44 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the caller’s vehicle, 4800 block of 48th Loop. No items missing. No damage. Report taken.
9:22 a.m. – Caller reported footprints where someone was walking behind his house and garage during the night, 1000 block of 4th. An aluminum extension ladder was missing. Report taken. Loss valued at $10.
11:19 a.m. – Stacy Lloyd Vaughn, 39, cited for failure to install ignition device, Rio parking lot.
2:40 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked next to a “no parking” sign on the wrong side of the road, blocking another car in, Sunset off Nandina. Officer located a vehicle parked unlawfully, but it was not a hazard. Unable to locate owner. Officer left note to park legally next time.
3:48 p.m. – Caller located a live trap under a neighbor’s trailer and the caller believes the neighbor is responsible for missing cats in the neighborhood, 1283 44th Ave., Wagon Wheel manufactured home park. Officer contacted the caller and advised that it was non-criminal, to return the live trap to the neighbor and to contact the park manager.
7:54 p.m. – David Justin Laylon, 49, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree attempted burglary. Cited and released.
9:54 p.m. – Avery Joshua Darryll Enhaynes, 18, cited for no license and driving uninsured, Oak Terrace and Terrace Lane.
March 6
12:10 a.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male neighbor was pounding on windows and doors, 1220 23rd Ave. A second caller reported that a male just busted her window and hit her with a flag pole. Second caller declined to pursue charges, and a 55-year-old male was taken into protective custody for detox.
2:25 a.m. – Justin Ray Gomez, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Lebanon.
8:35 a.m. – A 15-year-old female and a 17-year-old female referred to Juvenile Department for third-degree theft, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.
9:36 a.m. – Steven Ford, 55, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1220 23rd Ave. Caller had reported a male now at her front door screaming at her and her neighbor.
1:22 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s goats were on the caller’s property. Goats were returned prior to deputy arrival. Deputy spoke to the owner, who planned to repair the fence where the goats escaped.
1:36 p.m. – Megan Breann Brambora, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Portland.
1:45 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a vacant residence, 1100 block of 18th. Report taken.
4:46 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s child opens all the mailboxes every day when he comes home from school, 4300 block of Main. Officer contacted the child’s grandparent and advised of the complaint. The grandparent said the grandparent would let the parent know.
6 p.m. – Caller reported a utility trailer had been parked for three days, 18th and Tamarack. Trailer tagged for removal.
7:56 p.m. – Caller reported a crash, Shea Hill and Riggs Hill. No injuries.
March 5
9:07 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tampered with a water reservoir in the area of 21st Avenue. Report taken.
9:49 a.m. – Caller requested that any subjects camping at 1266 15th Ave., Wells Fargo, be trespassed. Officer responded and contacted one male, who had been trespassed. Male transported by medics to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
Noon – Caller reported the caller’s credit card was used in Kent, Wash., 1600 block of Elm. Information noted.
12:59 p.m. – Caller reported a rock thrown at a vehicle, causing approximately $100 in damage, 43000 block of North River. Report taken.
2:51 p.m. – Caller reported syringes by a sign on the sidewalk, 2200 block of Long. Officer disposed of syringes.
3:08 p.m. – Bus driver notified caller that a juvenile was pointing a pistol at vehicles as they passed by, 9th and Elm. Officer contacted three juveniles and counseled them for their actions. The pistol was an inoperable BB gun, which was given to a parent who would handle discipline.
3:09 p.m. – Caller reported a female smoking a cigarette with an infant in the vehicle, 23rd and Main. Officer contacted and counseled the driver.
3:16 p.m. – Caller reported that a male brought in a fraudulent bottle slip, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Information noted for now. Male did not receive any money. The male was no longer at location. Officer to attempt to contact male.
4:50 p.m. – Caller reported that someone purchased an iPhone through Verizon in his name, and his credit report showed a T-Mobile account opened in his name. Information noted at this time. Caller was still gathering information to provide to officer.
7:53 p.m. – Melanie Ashley Zajic, 35, cited and released in field for violation of a stalking order and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving while suspended, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.
9:38 p.m. – Denise Rochelle Burrow, 52, cited and released in field for possession of meth, 1220 23rd Ave.
March 4
10:45 a.m. – Caller reported he was scammed out of $100 when she went to unlock two iPhones, 1700 block of 12th. Information noted.
4:09 p.m. – Derek Johnson, 49, arrested for assaulting a public safety officer, 1199 10th Ave, KeyBank. Caller had reported picking up two females, whom she knew. They started demanding money from the caller. Report taken for menacing and coercion.
5:57 p.m. – Caller reported a homeless male approached her husband requesting the money he had just taken out at the ATM, 1266 15th Ave., Wells Fargo. Officer contacted the male and counseled him.
6 p.m. – Derek Johnson, 49, arrested for second-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported a male walking out of the store with two shopping carts full of food. He was seen in front of Wells Fargo handing out the food. Some items were returned.
March 3
12:16 a.m. – Caller reported a male standing behind Dollar General in the fenced area, 1937 Main St. Officer contacted the male and advised him of the complaint. He agreed to gather his belongings and leave the area.
12:45 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a male rolling around on the ground and yelling, 1890 Main St., Bi-Mart. Officer contacted the male and advised him of the complaint. He was fine and left the area.
2:44 a.m. – Christopher Anthony Rynearson, 28, arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving, Main and Highway 228. Cited and released.
4:43 a.m. – Aaron Lee Riley, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for harassment, Lane County.
11:11 a.m. – Caller reported a male buying water bottles with his EBT card at Dollar General, 1937 Main St., and then dumping them out in the parking lot so he can get the refund. When confronted, the male became aggressive toward the caller and her father.
1:03 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his vehicle during the night, 700 block of 29th. Nothing was taken. An item was left on the seat. Report taken. Item seized.
1:30 p.m. – Caller reported a syringe found in the parking lot, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer disposed of the syringe.
2:11 p.m. – Caller reported two female shoplifters, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Report taken. Loss valued at $8.49.
6:29 p.m. – Caller reported a female threw a bag out her window and drove away, 800 block of Main. Officer collected items and placed them in found property.

10:20 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole several bags of garbage, 2400 block of Main.
March 2
4:20 a.m. – Caller reported someone tried to break into the house and was standing in front of the caller, 3200 block of Main. Subject left on foot prior to officer arrival. Report taken for trespass.
5:27 a.m. – Caller reported someone broke into a gated area, 1000 block of Long. Lock was cut, and $50 worth of cans were stolen. Report taken.
9:39 a.m. – Caller received an email demanding cash and threatening to post photos of the caller 300 block of W. Holley. Officer responded and looked at the emails and private messages to a scammer. Officer counseled the caller on Internet safety and assisted in blocking the scammer on social media.
10:01 a.m. – Allen Dale Ensley, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Albany.
3:20 p.m. – Abigael Elizabeth Wood, 31, arrested for violating a restraining order, 1536 9th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:47 p.m. – Ryan Wesley Sechrest, 32, arrested for felon in possession of a stolen firearm and first-degree theft, 1118 Main St., O’Reilly Auto Parts. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:14 p.m. – Kimberly Ann Winney, 48, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation and failure to appear and Lebanon warant for contempt of court on original charge of fourth-degree assault.
