8:26 a.m. – Robert Gary Mills, 34, turned in himself on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of strangulation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

8:39 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle, 500 block of Nandina.

10:39 a.m. – Jake James Sorrell, 18, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court. Cited and released.

March 15

7:56 a.m. – Officer located an unsecured vehicle, 300 block of Strawberry. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,200.

8:38 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle stolen, 1200 block of 55th. Report taken.

11:43 a.m. – Gypsie Marie Esperum, 56, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, 47th and Main. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

3:21 p.m. – Jess Thomas Drexler, 39, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 15th and Nandina. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:28 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office recovered a vehicle reported stolen from Sweet Home.

9:34 p.m. – Christian Ivette Kelley, 22, cited for no license and driving uninsured, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge.

6:49 p.m. – Caller reported domestic violence, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken for fourth-degree assault.

7:59 p.m. – Carl George Anderson, 69, cited for open container of alcohol, Main and 40th.

9:06 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her vehicle, 1400 block of Main. Report taken.

11:39 p.m. – Stolen vehicle recovered, 5300 block of Poplar.

8:08 a.m. – Caller reported people possibly living in an RV, 2400 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

9:57 a.m. – Kevin Wayne Johnston, 22, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), second-degree criminal trespass, Sweet Home warrant for two counts of second-degree criminal trespass and a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of probation violation, 1435 22nd Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:23 a.m. – Caller reported two RVs in a driveway housing several families, 500 block of Surrey. Referred to code enforcement.

1:27 p.m. – Caller reported a blighted property, 1200 block of 44th. Referred to code enforcement.

3:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was working on lines, and after leaving, the transformer blew, 900 block of Terrace Lane. Officer responded. Unknown if a utility company was involved or if there was any criminal activity.

6:53 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle was hit in the parking lot, and the other driver left the scene, 2000 Main St. Report taken. Minimal damage to caller’s vehicle.

8:28 p.m. – Robert Kevin Gardner, 49, cited for driving while suspended, 13th and Main.

11:59 p.m. – Caller reported walking and being stopped by three teens wanting to buy drugs, 1600 block of Long. Officers would be on the lookout.

8:41 a.m. – Ronnette Leeann Robertson, 32, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft and for probation violation, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

9:17 a.m. – Caller reported a number of chickens are loose and eating her daffodils, 4600 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

10:10 a.m. – Caller reported a truck and trailer parked on a vacant lot for an extended period of time, 2000 block of 18th. Referred to code enforcement.

12:04 p.m. – Jacob William Jones, 22, arrested for second-degree theft in connection to the theft of a safe and coin collections from the 1300 block of Sunset on March 11, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

8:08 a.m. – Officer located a male subject camping in the backyard of a vacant house, 1000 block of 14th. Subject has moved his belongings and warned for trespass.

9:30 a.m. – Caller reported that a room had been damaged by a fire, 800 block of Long. Investigation continuing.

9:39 a.m. – Caller reported an accumulation of trash and garbage, 500 block of Surrey Lane. Referred to code enforcement.

4:30 a.m. – Caller reported that while he was sleeping in his pickup, someone stole his toolbox, 800 block of Main. The caller chased the suspect, and the suspect dropped the tools and toolbox. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree attempted theft.

10:33 a.m. – Caller reported subjects camping in a backyard, 700 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

11:16 a.m. – Jody Lawrence Maruffo, 35, arrested for possession of stolen property, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

11:40 a.m. – Caller reported a fifth-wheel trailer parked on the street for more than five days, 2000 block of Cedar.

11:51 a.m. – Kevin Joseph Bachand, 42, arrested on two Sweet Home warrants for third-degree theft, 23rd and Long. Cited and released.

4:26 p.m. – Caller reported that a male just punctured all four tires on a vehicle, 1800 block of Main. Officer responded. Registered owner had punctured his own tires.

6:02 p.m. – Lamar Lavonne Wilson, 25, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 2100 block of Main. Officer reported that a male subject stopped in the middle of Main Street in his vehicle and jumped out in the middle of the road in front of traffic. Vehicle impounded as hazardous.

7:17 p.m. – Caller reported that someone had been inside her house, and some things are missing and destroyed, 2200 block of Long. Report taken.

7:34 p.m. – Caller reported that a ring was stolen while she was moving, 1200 block of 45th. Report taken. Ring valued at $300.

10:52 p.m. – Caller reported a fight in the middle of the road, and someone punched a vehicle, 2300 block of Long. Parties left prior to officer arrival. Officer unable to locate.

March 9

2:29 p.m. – Caller reported cars double parked in the cul de sac, 300 block of West Pine. Referred to code enforcement.

3:17 p.m. – Caller reported that a large dog had been hit and was in the middle of the road still alive, 5500 block of Main. Before officer arrival, caller called back and advised that it wasn’t a dog at all but a bag. Officer disregarded.

3:57 p.m. – Caller reported that someone opened a Dish Network account in his name and owes more than $1,000, 1100 block of Main. Report taken.

5:03 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 47th and Main. No injuries. No citations. Damage more than $1,500.

5:23 p.m. – Caller reported that an employee just took a fake bill from a customer, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Report taken.

9:35 p.m. – Caller reported a bike standing up against the door, and the business is closed, 1030 Long St. Bike seized as found property.

10:01 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her house while she was gone, 1200 block of Nandina. Nothing appeared taken. Window lock was damaged. Report taken.
