8:54 a.m. – Caller reported two loose dogs, Maple and Mimosa. Officer unable to locate dogs.
10:19 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his vehicle about five days earlier, 4500 block of Manzanita. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

8:11 p.m. – Darwyn Dwayne Thomas Reimann, 19, cited and released in field for an unlawful dissemination of an intimate image, 29200 block of Highway 20.
10:03 p.m. – Allen Dale Ensley, 31, cited and released in field on Douglas County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, 1900 block of 18th.
March 14
9:19 a.m. – Caller found drug paraphernalia, 9th and Nandina. Item seized.
9:20 a.m. – Deputy advised a male illegally camping in his vehicle at milepost 16.5 on Quartzville Road to pack up and move on.
11:18 a.m. – Caller found drug paraphernalia in the bathroom at Northside Park, 1712 11th Ave. Officer located and disposed of needle cap. Unable to locate the other items described.
11:38 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of two semi truck batteries valued at $150 each, 43100 block of North River. A fuel line was cut and 15 gallons of fuel were stolen. Report taken.
1:02 a.m. – Anthony Allen Ensley, 37, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Lebanon.
1:02 p.m. – Heather Nicole Matney, 26, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal trespass, fourth-degree assault and second-degree theft, Lebanon.
3:10 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run that occurred six days earlier, 4800 block of Main. Report taken.

9:16 p.m. – Loree Kay Moore, 59, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for second-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported two females putting items in a purse. Management did not want to pursue charges. They did not leave with the items. Females trespassed from location.

9:56 a.m. – Oregon State Police reported a firearms denial, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Report taken Investigation continuing.
2:21 p.m. – Caller reported a firearm stolen sometime during the past year, 1400 block of Westwood. Report taken.
4:08 p.m. – Michelle Leigh Melbye, 48, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 1200 block of 12th. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:01 p.m. – Dispatcher found money left on a chair, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in found property.

March 12
6:55 a.m. – Tyler Paul Dean Malloy, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Corvallis.
11:01 a.m. – Caller reported that Internet equipment was taken, Husky Field. Report taken.
12:26 p.m. – Caller reported someone entered a travel trailer and took fuel, 43100 block of North River. Report taken.
12:56 p.m. – Four members of a Grants Pass family were traveling to Yellowstone National Park for vacation. While following their GPS in a 2014 Porsche Cayenne over U.S. Forest Service Road 11, they encountered poor conditions, with snow drifts and numerous downed trees ranging from 5 to 20 inches in diameter. They eventually became stuck and walked away from the area where they were rescued by deputies and medics, who transported them to Sweet Home where they could rest.
3:20 p.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, 1100 block of 4th. No injuries. Drivers exchanged information.
3:28 p.m. – Caller reported a window had been shattered in the previous half hour, 13th and Kalmia. Report taken. Damage estimated at $300.
3:41 p.m. – Peggy Marie Kirk, 45, cited for no license and failure to stop for school bus lights, 4500 block of Main.
4 p.m. – Caller found a wallet, 1800 block of Vine. Placed in found property.
4:02 p.m. – Caller reported a customer left a debit card at Towne Pump the previous day, 890 Main St. Placed in found property.
6 p.m. – Caller reported an elderly female was locked out of her house, 1000 block of 15th. Officer climbed through a window and unlocked the door for the female.
6:46 p.m. – Caller reported a female in a vehicle in the parking lot had a needle in her mouth, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Officer contacted the female. She had a pen in her mouth.
March 11
3:40 a.m. – Caller reported the doors at a residence were open, 4100 block of Main. No one appeared to be home. Officer responded. Nothing appeared to have been stolen or tampered with. Verbal message left with family member. Residence secured and business card left at door.
6:07 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole several items from his two vehicles, 4500 block of Airport Lane. Report taken. Loss valued at $400.
7:43 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a female who was slumped over her steering wheel in the parking lot, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer contacted the female, who was resting before going to work.
10:24 a.m. – Isaac Phillup Waugh, 24, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of interfering with an officer, Lebanon.
11:27 a.m. – Report taken for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 27900 block of Liberty.
11:32 a.m. – RV tagged for removal, 48700 block of Quartzville.
12:46 p.m. – Kristopher Ray Moak, 33, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving while suspended, Coffee Creek Correctional Facility.
12:54 p.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, 13th and Main. No injuries. Officer assisted in exchange of information.

4:28 p.m. – Caller found a syringe in the bushes, 1300 block of Nandina. Seized for destruction.
6:57 p.m. – Callers reported a dog running loose and dragging a chain, 5300 block of Main. Dog returned to owner.
7:17 p.m. – Harry Vrell, 31, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park.
7:46 p.m. – Harvey Kapicka, 34, arrested for probation violation, 658 Main St., Swan’s. Transported to Linn County Jail.
8:43 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle remained parked at 2nd and Hawthorne. It is not able to move because it has a broken head gasket. Vehicle posted for removal.
9:06 p.m. – Deputy took a lost male and his dog home, 23200 block of Brush Creek. The male went for a walk in the woods and got lost when it became dark. A deputy drove to his GPS location on private timber land. Deputy found the male sitting with a large warming fire.
9:59 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle ran over a community mailbox, 18th and Cedar. Report taken for hit and run.
March 10
2:50 a.m. – Darren Wade Botts, 53, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of failure to report as a sex offender, 23rd and Long. Cited and released.
5:06 a.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 19th near Umpqua Bank. Officer contacted the owner. The dog was put away.
8:15 a.m. – Caller reported that a parent threatened to stab staff members, 3205 Long St., Hawthorne Elementary School. Officer contacted the parent and trespassed him from the school.
9:26 a.m. – Caller found a debit card on the sidewalk, 800 block of 12th. Card placed in found property.
3 p.m. – Caller found a cell phone in his truck and he didn’t know who it belongs to, 300 block of Boulder Ridge. Phone placed in found property.
3:31 p.m. – Amber Dawn Barton, 41, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
4:17 p.m. – Caller reported his bicycle stolen, 4800 block of 48th. Report taken. Loss valued at $80.
5:04 p.m. – Travis Blaine Harris, 47, arrested for strangulation (domestic violence), interfering with making a police report, harassment (domestic violence) and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), 6308 Lake Point Way.
7:05 p.m. – Melissa Merlene Nelson, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Grand Ronde.
9:05 p.m. – Callers reported a male acting strangely, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer contacted and trespassed a male who appeared to be under the influence of substances. Officer contacted one of the callers and took a report for third-degree theft for the loss in value of $4.79. Officer checked the area to contact the male again. Unable to locate.
10:09 p.m. – William McKinley Jones, 52, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, west city limits. Vehicle impounded. License plate seized from vehicle and returned to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
March 9
1:47 p.m. – Caller found a cell phone, 300 W. Holley, Stonebrook Apartments. Placed in found property.
2:09 p.m. – Andrew Jacob J. Cartwright, 33, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal trespass, Douglas County Jail.
2:44 p.m. – Caller reported a male was passed out in his driveway, 1600 block of Elm. Officer contacted the male, who was having medical issues. Medics transported him to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
3:37 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose in the manufactured home park, 1530 Tamarack St., Tamarack Ridge Estates. Officer responded. Owner was sitting outside with the dog upon arrival. The dog was on the owner’s property. Officer advised her of the complaint.
4:07 p.m. – Ra Ross Allen Scott, 26, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Newport.
4:52 p.m. – Ronald Kolbee Credille, 24, cited on Sweet Home warrant for three counts of failure to appear on original charge of failure to report as a sex offender and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree escape, Clackamas County.
