March 17

6:02 a.m. – Caller reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle during the night and took a raincoat and other items, 1100 block of Redwood. Report taken.

12:01 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of fishing poles, 42900 block of Green River. Report taken.

March 16

12:08 a.m. – Jerad Curtis Given, 36, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Cited and released.

1:29 a.m. – Stanley Edward Gray, 50, arrested for driving under the influence and driving while suspended, 1500 block of Tamarack and on Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence (owes 10 days in jail). Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:12 a.m. – Caller reported finding a pipe on the payphone, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Pipe seized.

11:45 a.m. – Officer located prescription medication in the middle of the roadway, 2300 block of Main. Property seized.

1:26 p.m. – Caller reported someone moved four wheels and removed ignition in vehicle, 2400 block of Long. Report taken. No damage.

4:42 p.m. – Caller reported a low-hanging wire, Ninth and Nandina. Officer responded. The wire was disconnected from a house. Officer removed wire from the roadway and advised Comcast.

March 15

10:08 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of items from storage, 37th Avenue. Report taken. Stolen property worth about $250.

10:34 a.m. – Kevin Shelton Santana, 42, cited for being over the legal limit for an intoxicating beverage in a city park, Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp. Caller had reported a male throwing knives and yelling.

5:30 p.m. – Jacob Thomas Salvador, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 2112 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:40 p.m. – Caller reported fuel was siphoned from his vehicle and keys taken, 500 block of Ninth. Report taken.

9:19 p.m. – Hugh Hinton Harris, 61, and William Ernest Cockrell, 51, arrested for disorderly conduct, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Cited and released.

March 14

5:42 a.m. – Officer responded to an alarm, 1000 block of Epps Lane. Report taken for attempted burglary.

10:52 a.m. – Helen Louise Coelho, 58, cited for speeding, 54-35, 2400 block of Main.

2:05 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of an Oregon Trail card, 2200 block of Main. Information noted.

3:41 p.m. – Caller reported that someone had broken into her car, 1200 block of 41st. Report taken. Stolen property worth about $100.

7:37 p.m. – Ryan Logan Binks, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and charged for possession of meth and illegal fireworks, 18th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:59 p.m. – Caller reported two males fighting over a missing wallet, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Officer contacted one male. The other had left when the officer approached. Report taken for the missing wallet.

March 13

12:09 a.m. – Caller reported a fight outside of Chewy’s, 1200 12th Ave. Robert Hopi Lupoli, 52, taken into protective custody, held for detox and released.

3:36 a.m. – Jay Lamar Humphries, 50, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and criminal trespass, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:42 a.m. – Jimmy Leon Coonrod, 61, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of harassment, four counts of second-degree criminal trespass and placing an offensive substance in the water, on the highway or property, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:28 a.m. – Officer located drug paraphernalia and seized it for destruction, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

4:41 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her house and stole $600 in property, 1800 block of Willow. Report taken.

8:40 a.m. – Caller reported the top of a tree was broken off in a recent storm and would like it evaluated for removal, 1100 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.

9:42 a.m. – Caller reported a collapsing fence, 600 block of Ninth. Referred to code enforcement.

10:23 a.m. – Caller located a needle in the roadway, 13th and Kalmia. Located and seized.

10:46 a.m. – Caller reported a destroyed mailbox and wiring to outdoor lighting were cut, 2700 block of Juniper. Report taken. Damage estimated at $60 to $80.

3:19 p.m. – Jason Lee Greer, 31, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation and Clackamas County warrants for misdemeanor driving while suspended and failure to appear on original charge of interfering with making a report, Seventh and Dogwood. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:39 p.m. – Caller reported finding other people’s garbage in the trash, 1000 block of Nandina. Investigation continuing.

11:25 p.m. – Amanda Rae Stafford, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

March 12

7:52 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tampered with the drive-through window, 2301 Main St., Taco Time. No entry gained. Report taken.

8:55 a.m. – Kenneth Ray Faulconer, 20, charged with second-degree sexual abuse and third-degree rape at Linn County Jail, where he was already held on other charges.

11:32 a.m. – John Pablo Scott II, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of attempted fourth-degree assault and two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, 1810 River St. Cited and released.

12:38 p.m. – Jasmine Allison Riley, 31, turned herself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of resisting arrest, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

1:42 p.m. – James Michael Heaberlin, 19, charged on Sweet Home warrants for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and failure to appear on original charge of telephonic harassment, Linn County Jail.

1:42 p.m. – Caller reported a person selling items on the sidewalk, 13th and Long. Referred to code enforcement.

3:54 p.m. – Daniel Lee Adams, 43, arrested on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, McMinnville.

7:29 p.m. – Brian Lee Lindsay, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

9:38 p.m. – Nathan Allen Deffenbaugh, 37, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, 1200 12th Ave. Cited and released.

March 11

11:20 a.m. – Tony Scott Harden, 22, arrested for first-degree theft and probation violation, 1951 12th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:27 p.m. – Caller reported that a male walked out of Safeway without paying for items, 1540 Main St. Report taken.

1:29 p.m. – Caller reported a male was choking his dog and slamming it against the wall, 1100 block of Long. Officer responded and warned the male. The dog did not have injuries but a report was to be forwarded to Linn County Animal Control.

2:23 p.m. – Caller reported finding a security box on her back porch, 3100 block of Main. Box seized as found property.

3:48 p.m. – Sharon Sue Rowton, 72, cited for failure to obey traffic control device in two-vehicle crash, 22nd and Long. Second driver was Arvel Lee Ash Jr., 55. No injuries.

8:21 p.m. – Heather Michelle Mann, 24, cited for driving uninsured, 1400 block of Main.

10:55 p.m. – Daniel Kenneth Oberg, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of theft by receiving and Page Lee Butterfield, 20, cited for driving uninsured, 18th and Kalmia. Oberg cited and released.

March 10

4:30 p.m. – Minor two-vehicle crash, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Drivers were Norma Jean Wodtli, 74, and Teri Marie Lewis, 52. Drivers exchanged information. Damage less than $1,500. No injuries. No citations.

4:56 p.m. – Caller reported that someone opened an account in his name and charged more than $2,000 on it. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

7:46 p.m. – Caller reported that someone apparently tried to gain access to his house through his front door, 200 block of 10th. Information noted.

7:59 p.m. – Caller reported that juveniles were riding skateboards in the middle of the street blocking the entrance to her neighborhood, Mimosa and 49th. Officer contacted to juveniles who were mostly riding on the sidewalk and using a small part of the road as a rail. Parents advised of complaint.

March 8

8:42 a.m. – Zachary D. Baker, 25, arrested for three counts of attempted third-degree assault, menacing, four counts of recklessly endangering another person, failure to perform the duties of a driver, reckless driving and first-degree criminal mischief, 26900 block of Fern Ridge. Caller had reported two subjects in a confrontation. One had rammed the other person’s vehicle with a car.

March 7

4:15 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a generator worth $1,800, 26900 block of Old Holley. Report taken.

March 6

1:19 a.m. – Caller reported his girlfriend’s husband was driving around his motor home in a vehicle with three other subjects, and they were firing a gun into the yard. Subjects left prior to police arrival. Report taken.

8:49 a.m. – Caller reported power lines and trees down, 28500 block of Santiam Terrace.

March 5

12:36 p.m. – Caller reported her mailbox had been damaged, 28300 block of Scott Mountain. Report taken.
