12:49 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle sitting near mailboxes with hazard lights on for three hours, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer responded and located an unoccupied vehicle with the key in the ignition and driver’s window down. The vehicle was not parked illegally. It was parked on private property. Officer planned to keep an eye on it throughout the remainder of his shift.
10:20 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle crashing into a fence, Seventh and Oak Terrace. Report taken. Damage to fence estimated at $2,000. Damage to vehicle estimated at $600.
10:31 a.m. – Vehicle blocking mailboxes impounded, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows.
10:49 a.m. – Caller reported a male kicking over garbage cans, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Officer responded and contacted a male, who was aware what he was doing was wrong. Officer advised to stop and move along.

12:18 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious $20, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Officer responded. Report taken for first-degree forgery. Suspect was unaware the document was forged.
11:57 a.m. – Joshua Scott Dawson, 37, arrested for second-degree theft, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree criminal trespass, 41069 Hwy. 228. Cited and released.
12:54 p.m. – Caller reported a white pit bull running loose, 1200 block of 46th. Caller was able to chase the dog home. Officer warned the owner for keeping a dog as a public nuisance.
2:55 p.m. – Caller reported a child’s bike left for five days, 3100 block of Main. Bicycle placed in found property.
3:12 – Caller found a stray dog and was unable to locate the owner, Highway 20 in The Narrows west of town. A possible Australian mix placed in temporary shelter.
6:40 p.m. – Ladonna Gayle Bales, 40, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Eugene.
6:43 p.m. – Timothy Tyrel Combs, 33, arrested for driving under the influence, misdemeanor driving while suspended, a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended; a Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to appear on original charges of harassment (owes five days in jail) and driving uninsured (owes 10 days in jail), a Linn County warrant for harassment, a Linn County warrant for six counts of contempt of court, punitive, and one count of contempt of court, and a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for probation violation, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Multiple callers reported a person, who was possibly passed out, in a red and white extra cab pickup. The subject had his foot on the accelerator, revving it as high as possible, with fluid leaking out of the vehicle. Vehicle impounded.

1:02 a.m. – Macayla Marie Jimenez, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on two original counts of third-degree theft and an original charge of theft by receiving, Linn County. Cited and released.
2:26 a.m. – Steven Kenneth Stitt, 31, arrested on Linn County warrants for probation violation on original charges of first-degree theft, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and driving while suspended, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Cited and released.
11:14 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of tires and wheels from her pickup, 4100 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $650.

5:34 a.m. – Caller reported that someone was sleeping in the lobby, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office. Officer responded. Male subject was on his way out the door upon arrival. Male advised to move on.
9:47 a.m. – James David Stedman, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, Polk County. Cited and released.
1:18 p.m. – Caller found a cell phone, charge and black case with hearing aid batteries, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in found property.
2:33 p.m. – Three callers reported a male riding a scooter the wrong direction in the road, 1500 block of Main. Male warned for riding a scooter in the road.
4:39 p.m. – Don Allen Crocker, 63, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), menacing and interfering with making a report, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:53 p.m. – Paul Michael Peterson, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for hit and run, Albany. Cited and released.

6:24 a.m. – Steven Scott Sims, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.
6:39 a.m. – Caller reported a drunk man on the porch of a home in the 30600 block of Pine St. The 6-foot-3-inch man was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black Trail Blazer hat. He was bleeding from his hands. The man lived down the road and ended up on the caller’s porch. He was given a ride to the hospital by a family member. He was warned for trespass.
10:52 a.m. – Caller said she gave about $3,200 to buy a dog from someone on Craigslist. It turned out to be a scam, and they did not receive a dog.
12:07 p.m. – Caller reported a theft by a male and a female, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $14.54.
1:49 p.m. – Caller reported that she backed into another vehicle, 1300 block of Long. Report taken. No injuries. Loss valued at more than $1,500.
3:04 p.m. – Donald Wayne Ames, 52, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County. Transported to Linn County Jail.
4:57 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a purse and other items from a vehicle, 1900 block of Willow. Report taken.
8:47 p.m. – Caller reported a male refusing to leave and standing outside cursing, 900 block of Long. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct.
9:18 p.m. – Angela Moore, 39, arrested for driving under the influence, 49300 block of Wiley Creek. A caller had reported a woman crashing and taking out the caller’s fence.
9:41 p.m. – Cody Michael Lobdell, 20, and Veronica Sue Szuch, 19, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charge of computer crime, 23rd and Long. Cited and released. Szuch also cited on a Sweet Hoem warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft.
10:05 p.m. – Randy Dale Ensley, 52, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief, 925 Long St. Cited and released.

3:09 p.m. – Christine Nicole Killian, 30, turned in herself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fraudulent use of a credit card and a Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.
4:07 p.m. – Caller reported that a couple, who were high, went into the caller’s daughter’s bedroom and took money and jewelry. Officer attempted to contact the victim, but she wasn’t home. Officer left message for her to call.
4:32 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a skateboard from the bike rack, 1101 13th Ave., Sweet Home Public Library. Report taken.
9:55 p.m. – Brandon Lee Detamore, 25, cited for no license, 3000 Main St.

7:40 a.m. – Watchman for Cascade Timber Consulting property said a side-by-side came into the property and cut the lock at the 300 line gate. Report taken.
2:16 p.m. – Caller reported two horses with ribs showing, 29700 block of Sodaville-Mountain Home. They were walking in knee-deep mud with no shelter. Animal Control is investigating.
Feb. 20
10:29 p.m. – Caller reported a large party at the rock pit on Old Hufford where minors were in possession of alcohol. Deputies checked the area and did not find any intoxicated minors.

Caller said someone is using information to apply for credit cards, 29200 block of Berlin.
Feb. 18
2:40 p.m. – Caller reported receiving 10 calls in the last 15 minutes telling her to pay a $300 bill/fine for a socket set.
4:13 p.m. – Several sheep were on Liberty Road just south of Harmony.
Feb. 17
8:24 a.m. – Caller reported someone broke into caller’s garage, 4300 block of North River sometime since Monday and took a chainsaw and two Maglights. They kicked in the door and damaged the frame. They also cut a lock. Report taken. Loss valued at $960.
