March 14

3:19 a.m. – Officer located a 17-year-old female who was walking to her aunt’s house with her mother’s permission, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Officer contacted the girl’s mother and counseled her regarding curfew and failure to supervise.

March 13

3:38 a.m. – Bicyclist eluded an officer during a traffic stop, 2300 block of Main.

4:48 a.m. – Patricia Lynn Cruz, 43, cited for speeding, Main Street at OK Country Feed.

9:05 a.m. – Nicholas Godell, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear, 28700 block of Liberty.

9:32 a.m. – Caller turned in a black item that had a small baggie tucked in it, behind Mr. Lucky’s Deli. Seized for disposal.

9:48 p.m. – Kenneth Josiah Meadors, 39, cited for violating the city ordinance for dog at large, Cedar Street off Mountain View. Caller had reported an adult male husky running loose.

10:06 a.m. – A 13-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for possession of marijuana, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior.

10:51 a.m. – Caller reported a husky killed a chicken, 2000 block of Ames Creek. The dog left the area before the officer arrived. Report taken for keeping a dog as a nuisance. The owner of the chicken did not want to pursue charges.

11:20 a.m. – Abraham John Woosley, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended.

11:30 a.m. – Caller reported her wallet was taken from her vehicle, 1100 block of Main. Report taken.

12:03 p.m. – Caller’s vehicle was damaged during the morning, 4610 Highway 20. Report taken.

12:44 p.m. – Police recovered a stolen travel trailer, 28700 block of Liberty.

1:18 p.m. – A male who had been told he is not welcome was back, 1203 Long St., All-Star Pizza. Officer issued a trespass warning to the male.

3:11 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was throwing away needles in the caller’s garbage, 1100 block of Nandina. Officer collected and disposed of the needles.

6:52 p.m. – Caller reported subjects riding modified lawnmowers on the street and neighbors field, tearing up the street and field and making a lot of noise, 1800 block of Vine. Officer contacted the subjects, who said they would cease the activity.

10:17 p.m. – Christopher Scott Monahan, 40, arrested on Washington County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving uninsured, 2470 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

March 12

12:09 a.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 25, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 22nd and Long. Cited and released.

2:14 a.m. – Zachariah Lee Davis, 30, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and cited for driving uninsured, 14th and Kalmia. Cited and released.

2:19 a.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 30, cited and released in field on three warrants for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park.

7:43 a.m. – Caller reported that a small car hit a student on a bicycle, 3205 Long St., Hawthorne Elementary School.

8;31 a.m. – Caller reported that her son was assaulted five days earlier, 1439 Main St., Rio Theatre parking lot. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

10:49 a.m. – Daniel Joseph Carrico arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of contempt of court seeking punitive sanctions, Linn County.

11:02 a.m. – Caller reported she was assaulted by her boyfriend near 1118 Main St., O’Reilly Auto Parts. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

11:52 a.m. – Caller found a dog running loose, 18th near Boys and Girls Club. Dog placed in kennel. Owner collected dog.

12:29 p.m. – Caller found unopened mail in the park area, 580 Main St., Vets Club. Returned to owner.

1:39 p.m. – Caller found a black LG phone on the sidewalk, Highway 228 at Evergreen Apartments. Placed in found property.

2 p.m. – Caller reported a German shepherd in the roadway being followed by a car impeding traffic while trying to catch the dog, Main Street between Hoy’s and Skyline Inn Restaurant. The dog was hit by a car, transported to a veterinarian and claimed by the owner.

2:29 p.m. – Davy Anthony Phillips, 46, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male subject stole food then dropped it when he left the location and was followed.

2:59 p.m. – Caller reported a juvenile gets off the bus and then opens six mailboxes while walking to his house, 4200 block of Highway 20. Officer contacted grandmother, who would address the issue with the child’s mother to correct the behavior.

3:56 p.m. – Elisha Marie Adams, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Lebanon.

4:25 p.m. – Caller reported that someone opened a PayPal account in the caller’s name, 1000 block of 1st. Information noted.

7:55 p.m. – Caller believes someone brainwashed her and inserted devices into her body, 1900 block of 37th. Officer contacted the caller and provided her contact for mental health services. At her request, she was seen by medics.

8:58 p.m. – David Arthur Armendariz, 37, cited for failing to maintain lane, Brushwood Road and Highway 20.

9:07 p.m. – Two males reported they were stuck in the snow with a broken side-by-side on tracks. They were in the area to repair a radio tower. The machine broke on March 11. They returned on foot to recover it on March 12. After many attempts, the machine failed, and they were stranded in the dark. Deputies reached and rescued them with tracked vehicles.

10:07 p.m. – Caller reported a male and two females attempting to break into a vehicle, 54th and Main. Officer contacted four individuals who claimed the vehicle belonged to them, and they were attempting to move it because it had been posted for tow.

March 11

8:56 a.m. – Caller reported that the new restrooms had graffiti on the inside, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Report taken. Damage estimated at $100.

9:12 a.m. – Frank Thompson II, 44, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in the field.

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported multiple vehicles and a trailer parked in the wrong direction, making it hard to turn around in the cul de sac, 41st and Osage. Officer contacted a male and female and advised them of the city ordinance and consequence. They said they would have it resolved in a day or two.

11:41 a.m. – Chaylan Tosta, 37, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 12th and Long. Two callers reported a male going into businesses, lifting up manhole covers in the roadway and acting oddly. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:58 p.m. – Bryce McGowan, 35, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, Marion County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree burglary and second-degree theft, Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of giving false information to an officer, Douglas County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended and Sweet Home warrant for Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 3025 Main St., Highway 20 Church of Christ. Cited and released.

1:08 p.m. – Vehicle posted for removal from a public right-of-way, 54th and Main.

5:27 p.m. – Stacy Arbiso, 54, cited for driving uninsured, 1937 Main St., Dollar General.

6:47 p.m. – Caller reported that her mother’s debit card had Amazon purchases she did not do, 800 block of 22nd. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,500.

7:25 p.m. – Caller reported her wallet was taken out of her car the previous day, 900 block of Cedar. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

8:15 p.m. – Caller reported someone was in his house while he was gone during the evening, 3000 block of Long. Report taken.

8:48 p.m. – Ian Thomas Buczko, 32, cited for unnecessary noise and property seized, 700 block of 1st. Caller had reported loud music.

March 10

9:58 a.m. – Caller reported that someone threw eggs at his residence, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Caller did not know when it occurred. It may have occurred during the snow storm. Information noted.

1:40 p.m. – Caller found a ring in the roadway, 12th and Poplar. Placed in found property.

2:08 p.m. – Caller found a stray dog, 44500 block of Wiley Creek. Placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.

2:18 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor walks dogs without a leash and the dogs defecate in his yard, 800 block of Poplar. Officer spoke with the caller, who just wanted information noted and did not want the neighbor contacted.

3:54 p.m. – Caller reported a male stole beer from the back of his pickup, 4600 block of Main. Officer contacted the caller, who wanted the male to be trespassed. Officer to attempt to locate and trespass the male.
