2:35 p.m. – Leslie Michelle Gerard, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of offensive littering, and Landon Frank Gerard, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, Medford. Cited and released.
2:51 p.m. – A Bi-Mart employee turned in a dog that was abandoned at Bi-Mart, 1980 Main St. Dog placed in kennel.
5:36 p.m. – Caller reported that her son came to her residence and urinated in the fuel tank of one of her vehicles, 1200 block of Laurel. Report taken for criminal mischief and criminal trespass.
8:06 p.m. – Paul William Kalina, 40, arrested for third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass in connection to the previous call, 927 27th Ave. Cited and released.

7;17 p.m. – Caller said the landlord entered the caller’s residence and took CDs and a heater, 29400 block of Highway 20. Report taken.
March 18
6:35 p.m. _ Quin Wise, 21, arrested for driving under the influence and careless driving in a crash, 38600 block of Highway 228.
March 17
2:38 p.m. – Caller said a man threw a laptop bag at her and left bruise, 28800 block of Highway 20. She said he had a knife and was high on methamphetamine. Deputies responded. The caller was there to get her things and the man was throwing them out of the camp trailer towards her. The suspect claimed he was just trying to get her property out of his trailer and did not intend to hit her. A deputy took a report and it will be forwarded to the district attorney for review of charges.
10:18 p.m. – Caller reported a fight between a husband and wife, 28500 block of Scott Mountain. Medics were sent for the woman, who was bleeding. The woman was intoxicated. The man left the scene before deputies arrived. The incident is still under investigation. The suspect could not be found. Report taken.
March 16
5:22 p.m. – Caller said his neighbor was a victim of identity theft. This was a scam. The identity thieves took the victim’s information and filed taxes under their name. The victim was working with the IRS and Linn County Sheriff’s Office took a report. It is unknown where the suspects were located, possibly out of the country.
