March 26

2 a.m. – Caller reported a female was seen stealing, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $4.98.

8:54 a.m. – Bryan James Watts, 42, arrested on state warrant for parole violation and Linn County warrant for contempt of court (owed 10 days in jail) and failure to appear, 2440 Long St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:12 a.m. – Caller reported that he backed into a vehicle, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. The other vehicle had already left the location, and information was not exchanged. Officer responded. Information noted.

11:48 a.m. – Caller found mail in the bushes, South Hills Trail. Mail returned to owner.

March 25

9:16 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been parked for three days, and a male had been sleeping in it, 54th and Poplar. Officer responded. Vehicle was secured and legally parked, and nobody was inside it.

11:14 a.m. – Caller located mail on the South Hills Trail. Officer left the mail on the owner’s porch. The mail did not contain any private information.

11:51 a.m. – Caller reported that a female drove up and took a bicycle out of the front yard, 1900 block of Willow. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

1:19 p.m. – Caller reported that she went to check on her daughter’s dogs and the back gate was open, 2200 block of Kalmia. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,800. Caller advised on how to better secure residence.

2:28 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 29, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 12th and Main.

2:49 p.m. – Caller reported that juveniles stole Public Works street cones, 1500 block of 9th. Report taken.

3:07 p.m. – Michael Austin Hurley, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear and failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

3:13 p.m. – John Mark Taylor, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, Albany. Cited and released.

3:16 p.m. – Brandon John Cassidy Kirby, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of providing false information to a police officer and third-degree theft, Multnomah County. Cited and released.

3:33 p.m. – Prestin James Hugley, 33, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Clark Mill Road.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported dogs barking all day long, 3500 block of Juniper. Officer unable to contact anyone at the residence and left a note for residents to call.

8:50 p.m. – Angela Dianne May, 38, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 18th and Willow.

10:08 p.m. – Norman Wayne Gagnon, 53, cited for driving while suspended, Hoy’s Hardware.

March 24

2:31 a.m. – Kenneth Lee Hal-verson, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving and third-degree theft and a new charge of possession of meth, 18th and Main. Cited and released.

8:30 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a package from his porch, 1100 block of 1st. Report taken.

9:21 a.m. – Jennifer Lynn Harp, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

9:49 a.m. – Dustin Walker Lindner, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

10:57 a.m. – Caller reported that a male stole a sweatshirt, 1023 Main St., Trash to Treasure. Information noted.

12:08 p.m. – Heather Marie Richner, 36, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, Linn County. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:12 p.m. – Caller reported a restraining order violation. Report taken.

1:34 a.m. – Alicia May Grazer, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

2:17 p.m. – Tommy Joseph Lee Burke, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving, 20th and Willow. Cited and released.

3:30 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

3:55 p.m. – Terry Lynn Ball-weber, 52, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1400 block of Long. Cited and released.

4:56 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor backed into his car and left, 1200 block of 44th. Report taken.

5:32 p.m. – Gregory James Fink, 44, arrested for violating restraining order, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his shop, 1400 block of Westwood. Report taken. Loss valued at $27.

8:39 p.m. – Daryl Wayne Burns, 57, arrested for driving under the influence and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured. Cited and released.

March 23

8:14 a.m. – Caller reported that someone has been occupying a fifth wheel with full hookups for at least four months, 2700 block of Foothills. Referred to code enforcement.

8:27 a.m. – Officer picked up a bicycle abandoned in The Narrows, Highway 20 west of Sweet Home. Placed in found property.

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported miscellaneous vehicles and trash on property, 1700 block of Spruce. Referred to code enforcement.

1:04 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of an LED light bar from his vehicle, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

1:58 p.m. – Caller reported a package stolen from the porch, 900 block of 15th. Report taken.

2:09 p.m. – Angie Kay Cline, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree forgery, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

2:12 p.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 29, arrested for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Transported to Linn County Jail on a Parole and Probation detainer.

4:03 p.m. – Caller reported a freezer being stored in a driveway, 300 block of Ironwood. Referred to code enforcement.

11:44 p.m. – Andrew Benton Erickson, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Cited and released.

March 22

6:36 a.m. – Caller reported that she has had some things stolen over the past couple of months, 1200 block of Nandina. Information noted. Caller requested extra patrol in the area.

11:29 a.m. – Tiffany Anne Birks, 36, arrested for contempt of court, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Municipal Court. Cited and released with court order to turn herself in to Linn County Jail to serve seven days.

11:44 a.m. – Caller reported that a male violated a restraining order when he called and texted her, 4000 block of Clark Mill. Report taken.

1:29 p.m. – Juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Released to parents.

3:26 p.m. – Gary Christopher Guidry, 46, arrested for restraining order violation, 444 Maple Lane. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:53 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s two dogs bark constantly every day from the time they are let outside till they are taken in, 200 block of Osage. Officer contacted the owner, who would work on fixing the issue.

8:30 p.m. – Ryan Andrew Adelman, 19, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 18th and railroad tracks.

March 21

4:32 a.m. – Caller said that every day when his neighbor leaves, the neighbor’s dog comes over and harasses the caller’s cat and steals the cat’s food, 1000 block of North River. A deputy contacted the owner of the dog and warned the owner for the dog being loose.

7:31 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs at large, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High School. Officer unable to locate.

7:54 a.m. – Caller reported that her husband choked her, slammed her head on the wall and put a knife to her throat, 2200 block of Main. Report taken. Investigation continuing. Male had left prior to officer arrival.

10:16 a.m. – Caller reported two cows on his property, and he doesn’t know where they belong. He was concerned they would walk into the roadway and wanted them removed from his property.

11:07 a.m. – Bryce Taylor Keenon, 20, arrested for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

12:24 p.m. – Caller reported that his package had been opened and contents stolen, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.

2:44 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, and the suspect left east on Main Street in a truck, 621 Main St. Report taken.

3:04 p.m. – Caller reported that someone opened a credit card in her name, 1200 block of 44th. Report taken.

3:49 p.m. – Alicia Nicole Shaddon, 18, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 41389 Port Drive.

4 p.m. – Caller reported a minivan parked on the street for about two weeks, and it appeared abandoned, 45th and Main. Officer planned to post it for removal.

4:47 p.m. – Caller turned in a wallet located in the area of Highway 228. Placed in found property.

4:53 p.m. – Multiple callers reported two Jeeps driving all over the road, changing lanes and swerving into oncoming traffic, eastbound in The Narrows. Report taken.

5:56 p.m. – Kenneth Eugene Lane, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 1251 Wiley Creek Road. Cited and released.

6:07 p.m. – Samantha Christine Mansell, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, Linn County. Cited and released.

9:52 p.m. – Kimberly Dianne Brown, 27, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

March 20

3:30 a.m. – Caller reported that an intoxicated male was trying to take his vehicle, 1300 block of 47th. The caller wouldn’t let him, and the male started throwing rocks at the vehicle. Officer responded. The intoxicated male was gone upon arrival. Report taken for criminal mischief. Damage estimated at less than $1,000.

11:45 a.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 600 block of 10th. Officer secured dogs in backyard of the location and posted photos online to identify owner.

12:08 p.m. – Caller reported a male leaving with merchandise he did not pay for, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Merchandise recovered. Male left on foot, and caller wanted him trespassed.

12:25 p.m. – Caller reported that her neighbor’s chickens were tearing up her flower bed, 1200 block of Fourth. Referred to code enforcement.

2:42 p.m. – Caller reported that someone has been messing with his mail, 600 block of 43rd. He noticed three days earlier that all of his mail was soggy as if it had been dropped in a puddle.

3:04 p.m. – Andrew Benton Erickson, 46, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug.

3:02 p.m. – Kimberly Ann Winney, 46, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 4155 Osage St. Caller had reported that a neighbor’s pit bull was out, unsupervised and attacking his dog. Officer contacted the owner and advised her of the complaint. She was taking steps to secure the dog.

5:16 p.m. – Gregory James Fink, 44, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and interfering with making a report, 1320 45th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported her boyfriend had attacked her and tried to choke her.

6:21 p.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 28, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 18th and Long. Cited and released. Multiple callers had reported a female abusing her dog. One caller reported that a female had spit on him when he approached her in regard to the abuse.

6:38 p.m. – Caller reported that she purchased a phone from a male, and the phone had been reported stolen, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer advised the caller to bring the phone to the Police Department. Information noted.

8:49 p.m. – Caller reported that a male was washing his truck and may have been using the school’s water, 800 block of 22nd. Officer contacted the male and advised him to stop using the water.

9:41 p.m. – Caller reported that he was involved in a hit and run, 800 block of Long. Information noted.

March 19

2:40 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor is letting her dogs run loose, 2200 block of Larch. Officer contacted the owner, who was outside doing yard work and appeared to be in complete control of her dogs. No violations at the time.

4:32 p.m. – Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital reported a dog bite at 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Report taken.

4:42 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, Highway 228 and 2nd. Information exchanged. No apparent injuries. No citations. Damages approximately $1,500.

6:02 pm. – Caller reported that her back license plate tags had been removed, 1600 block of 13th. Report taken. Loss valued at $80.

6:11 p.m. – Caller reported running over a bottle of prescription medication, 1500 block of Main. Medication placed in found property.

6:40 p.m. – Caller turned in a wallet found in the 5400 block of Main. Placed in found property.

10:50 p.m. – John Thomas Gordon, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Bend. Cited and released.

11:09 p.m. – An off duty police officer reported a male and female with flashlights walking around, 800 block of Mountain View. Officer responded and contacted subjects, who were hiding a rock related to a recent game. Officer confirmed they had hidden a rock in a flowerbed. The building was secure, and there were no signs of foul play. Officer cautioned the subjects to consider the perception.

March 17

6:15 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her mail, 4400 block of Coulter Lane.
