11:51 a.m. – Caller reported a male and female physically fighting near 13th and Kalmia. The male ripped off his shirt and threw it on the ground. Both were walking toward Sankey Park. Officer contacted the male and female. There was some physical contact, but it was not a mandatory arrest. Both were warned for disorderly conduct.
12:50 p.m. – Caller reported that a male in a black hoody stole an energy drink, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $3.19.
March 8
5:52 a.m. – Caller reported a subject in a gray hooded sweatshirt on his knees, and it appears the subject was possibly picking the lock to the front door, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Officer unable to locate anyone on foot. Building secure.
10:52 a.m. – James Michael McElroy Slaght, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of interfering with a police officer, second-degree criminal mischief and first-degree criminal trespass, Chevron, 13th and Main. Cited and released.
10:57 a.m. – Wallet found at 12th and railroad tracks. Seized for safekeeping.
12:20 p.m. – Caller reported that someone dumped several mattresses and other trash, 5300 block of Main Officer located property and advised him of the problem. He will clean it up.
3:38 p.m. – Rubin Lee Dimmick, 19, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of hit and run, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
4:17 p.m. – Caller reported a male walking between apartments yelling and threatening to burn the building down, 1250 Nandina St. Officer responded to a disturbance between two males. They separated for the day, and the officer warned them for disorderly conduct.
5:43 p.m. – Caller reported finding a phone, 1707 Main St., Les Schwab Tire Center. Phone seized.
6:47 p.m. – Caller reported finding a bike in a field by her house, 4200 block of Long. The bike had been there for more than a week. Bike seized and placed in found property.
11:50 p.m. – James Leroy Salvador, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Linn County. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:02 a.m. – Jeremy Michael Wayne Hicks, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of failure to appear, Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and cited for possession of meth, 18th and Tamarack. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:40 a.m. – Scheri Janae Oliver, 32, arrested on Linn County warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 4966 Locust Court. Transported to Linn County Jail.
10:42 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole bags of clothing and medication from the bed of his truck, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.
2 p.m. – Caller reported an argument between a male and female, 900 block of Oak Terrace. Report taken for domestic violence, including felony fourth-degree assault, first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree escape.

6:29 p.m. – Caller reported someone came in to purchase fuel but did not pay for it, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Report taken.

10 p.m. – Caller reported that she had just picked up her 14-year-old son, who was supposed to be spending the night with a friend and he was intoxicated, 1600 block of 13th. She said the friend’s father furnished the alcohol. Investigation pending.

5:13 a.m. – Caller reported a male who has been trespassed entered her house and wouldn’t leave, 900 block of Oak Terrace. Report taken.
7:51 a.m. – Caller reported swerving to miss a dog and hitting a fire hydrant and mailboxes, 1300 block of Poplar. Report taken.
10:39 a.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 19, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and two counts of third-degree theft, 18th and Main. Cited and released.
11:24 a.m. – Caller reported someone trying to run her off the road, 23rd and Long. Information noted.
11:51 a.m. – Jess Thomas Drexler, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, Downtown Lounge parking lot, 1234 Main St. Cited and released.
1:29 p.m. – Caller reported an abrupt edge at a sidewalk, and it is a trip hazard, 4900 block of Mimosa. Referred to code enforcement.
1:30 p.m. – Caller reported three dogs in an enclosed kennel howling all day, 1900 block of 12th. Referred to code enforcement.
3:40 p.m. – Davy Anthony Phillips, 42, cited and released in field for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 1908 Willow St.
3:53 p.m. – Caller reported losing the setting to her ring, 1300 block of 53rd. Report taken for lost property.
5:36 p.m. – Caller reported two juveniles playing, and one of the males fell and was knocked unconscious, 3200 block of Long. Officer responded. Nothing criminal. Medics checked victim. Parents arrived and would transport the male to the hospital.
6:16 p.m. – Caller reported his pellet stove was taken from one of his rentals, 1800 block of Willow. Report taken. Loss valued at $400.
7:20 p.m. – Daniel Joseph Browand, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for first-degree criminal trespass, First and Holley. Cited and released.
7:59 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a house, with the back windows broken out and someone possibly living in the residence, 1000 block of 14th. Officer responded and found a back window broken and door unsecure. No one was there. Officer would try to contact a responsible person.
9:25 p.m. – Caller found a sign in front of her building, 700 block of Main. Property held for safekeeping.
9:35 p.m. – A male came into the lobby and asked to be arrested because he was intoxicated, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Officer spoke with the male and sent him on his way home.
March 5
8:31 a.m. – Nancy Kiser, 48, turned herself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
8:44 a.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 1500 block of Tamarack. No injuries.
11:26 a.m. – Tony Scott Harden, 23, taken into custody for contempt of court, 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court.
1:34 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs chained together running down Highway 20 near 46th Avenue. Officer located dogs with collars but no tags. The dogs were attached to a fence and were on the road.
2:28 p.m. – Caller reported a stolen bicycle, 1200 block of 37th. Report taken.
3:17 p.m. – Kasey Wayne Miller, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

7:56 p.m. – John Christopher McNabb, 45, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of failure to appear and cited for possession of meth, and Ashley Kay Mailes, 26, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of a controlled substance, 3204 Long St. Both transported to Linn County Jail.
March 4
12:27 a.m. – Caller reported a male walked out with a doughnut, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Officer responded and recovered the item. The male claimed it was a mistake. The officer would review a video to determine if a theft actually occurred.
11:24 a.m. – Linn County Jail served Sweet Home warrants on Brian Clayton Braught for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence and failure to comply on original charge of harassment.
1:34 p.m. – Loaded log truck went over an embankment, 2.5 miles up Old Hufford Road. The tractor remained on the roadway, blocking it. The road gave way, and the trailer and logs went over the edge. No injuries.
2:59 p.m. – Eugene James May, 41, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and state warrant for parole violation, and Angela Diane McDonald, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and a Sherman County warrant, 1364 56th Ave. Both transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported people at location who should not be there.

5:05 p.m. – Haley Nicole Ashby, 18, arrested on Linn County warrant for obstructing police, 300 W. Holley Road. Cited and released.

1:06 a.m. – Lester Lee Hendrix, 39, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for second-degree criminal mischief, failure to perform the duties of a driver and misdemeanor driving while suspended, 700 block of Long.
7:35 a.m. – Caller reported a male subject taking cans from caller’s property, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Caller tracked the subject down, and he had the cans but denied being on the property. Officer contacted the subject and trespassed him from the caller’s property.
8:36 a.m. – Caller reported two-vehicle crash, 40100 block of Highway 228. No injuries.
9:54 a.m. – Karen Rene Davis, 47, cited for driving uninsured and failure to carry proof of insurance, Nandina and 13th.
10:14 a.m. – Heather Lee Elmer, 21, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, Chevron station, 13th and Main.
10:36 a.m. – Micah Joseph Schulte, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for negotiating a bad check, Linn County. Cited and released.
2:29 p.m. – Marion Lee Gardner, 44, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and cited for possession of meth, driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1118 Main St., O’Reilly’s. Transported to Linn County Jail.
4:16 p.m. – Officer responded to a 9-1-1 call for an unknown reason in the 1300 block of Clark Mill and took a report for harassment. Victim did not want to pursue charges. Parties separated.
