April 28

1:08 a.m. – Caller reported a front window broken, 1707 Main St., Les Schwab Tire Center. Report taken. Damage estimated at a minimum of $500.

1:47 a.m. – Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 31, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree escape and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Main and Nandina.

2:53 a.m. – Shane Alan Douglas, 49, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence, City Hall parking lot. Cited and released.

1:19 p.m. – Caller had a stray dog follow her home from the park, 100 block of Osage. Dog placed in kennel.

1:35 p.m. – Caller found a bicycle in the yard, 1500 block of 9th. Bicycle placed in found property.

1:39 p.m. – Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 31, cited for driving while suspended, 3210 Main St.

2:45 p.m. – Caller reported a dog locked inside a hot vehicle, 2400 block of Main. Vehicle in question was leaving upon officer arrival.

3:12 p.m. – Caller found a phone and wallet on the sidewalk, 1900 block of Long. Owner recovered property prior to officer arrival.

3:33 p.m. Ra Ross Allen Scott, 25, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lincoln County.

7:13 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running in the caller’s yard, 1800 block of 12th. Dog transported to a resident who planned to find the owner.

7:14 p.m. – Tyler Dale Boren, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

April 27

12:43 a.m. – Frank Archie Thompson II, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Linn County.

3:24 a.m. – Jordyn Leigh Hanna, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

6:28 a.m. – Caller reported her ex called and threatened to hurt her, 1500 block of 40th. Report taken for harassment.

7:19 a.m. – Caller reported that a customer was unable to pay for his fuel, 2295 Main St. Prior to arrival, another customer agreed to pay the bill. Caller no longer wished to have law enforcement involved.

7:49 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to siphon the fuel from his vehicle, 1300 block of Westwood. Report taken.

8:08 a.m. – Caller reported a customer used fraudulent Coin Stars, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken for forgery.

9:48 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been parked for approximately a week, 400 block of Maple. Caller believed it may have been stolen. Officer responded. Vehicle not listed as stolen. Caller advised to post the vehicle to be towed.

10:55 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a can of fuel from his garage, 1300 block of Westwood. Report taken. Loss valued at $75.

4:20 p.m. – Caller found a stray dog, 300 block of W. Pine. Prior to officer arrival, the owner showed up and retrieved the animal.

5:26 p.m. – Caller reported a male crashed his motorcycle while riding on private property, 39300 block of Crawfordsville Drive. The accident was not reportable. Sweet Home medics responded to treat the male.

7:28 p.m. – Michael Scott Seiber, 39, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for third-degree theft, 2200 block of Long.

April 26

12:45 a.m. – Kyle Richards, 25, arrested on Linn County warrant probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, two counts of possession of meth, criminal trespass and second-degree burglary and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original two counts of third-degree theft and original charge of second-degree theft, 18th and Tamarack. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:20 a.m. – Donald Ames Jr., 29, arrested for attempting to elude on food, misdemeanor driving while suspended, driving under the influence, felony possession of heroin, felony possession of meth, distribution of meth, distribution of heroin, distribution of a Schedule III controlled substance, Albany warrants for failure to appear on original charges of providing false information to a police officer and second-degree criminal trespass, Philomath warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original two counts of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Transported to Linn County Jail. Vehicle impounded.

9:56 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor is allowing a dog to run loose and it is defecating in people’s yards, 1100 block of 38th. Officer responded. Unable to contact owner. Business card left.

10:19 a.m. – Danny Ray Roebuck, 64, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

11:08 a.m. – Caller reported a large sum of money taken from her bank account, 600 block of Oak Terrace. Report taken. Loss valued at $8,000.

11:20 a.m. – Caller reported three dogs running loose, 7th and Oak Terrace. Officer unable to locate.

2:14 p.m. – Shanelle Rae Hathaway, 43, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for felon in possession of a firearm and cited for driving while suspended, A&W.

6:01 p.m. – Caller found a wallet in a garbage can and it had paraphernalia inside of it, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Wallet seized.

10:33 p.m. – Steven Scott Sims, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Douglas County.

11:42 p.m. – Sean North Jr., 26, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

April 25

5:43 a.m. – Caller reported neighbors allow their big dog to keep barking early, which gets all the dogs in the neighborhood barking, 3500 block of Juniper. Officer responded. No contact with owner.

10:20 a.m. – Caller reported that juveniles damaged a fence, 1990 Long St., Skate Park. The juveniles’ father will handle it civilly. Caller requested the juveniles be excluded from the park.

10:37 a.m. – James Robert Warrington, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass.

10:56 a.m. – Aaron Lee Riley, 37, cited on Sweet Home warrant for harassment, Lincoln County.

11:30 a.m. – Richard Francis Burnside Jr., 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree escape and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 23rd near Main. Cited and released.

11:48 a.m. – Caller found keys, Clark Mill and Main. Placed in found property.

12:01 p.m. – Caller reported a homemade utility trailer stolen, 27800 block of Fern Ridge. Report taken.

1:03 p.m. – Caller reported that someone hit her vehicle while parked, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Report taken.

1:25 p.m. – Justin Lee Walker, 31, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

2:14 p.m. – Donald Charles Ackeret, 30, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 27100 block of Rowell Hill.

2:42 p.m. – Bryce Taylor Keenon, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and second-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

5:44 p.m. – Officer located an iPad that had been left in the interview room, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in found property.

6:05 p.m. – Caller’s grandson found a bicycle, 877 14th Ave. Sankey Park. Placed in found property.

6:11 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in the wrong direction along the street, 1300 block of Sunset. Officer responded and located several vehicles parked in the wrong direction. Officer spoke with persons responsible for the vehicles, and they said they would move them.

10:36 p.m. – Kevin Terwilliger, 56, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and Albany warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief.

April 24

1:50 a.m. – Julianne Nicole Phillips, 25, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s.

8:03 a.m. – A 16-year-old juvenile cited for careless driving contributing to an accident, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Damage less than $200.

12:49 p.m. – Officers assisted medics with an unconscious male in the 2300 block of Main. Drugs may have been involved. Male trespassed and transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.

1:49 p.m. – Caller reported that students drew inappropriate images on the playground, 605 Elm St., Oak Heights Elementary. Officer to contact the juveniles and counsel them.

1:56 p.m. – Debra Kelly, 60, taken into custody for probation violation and possession of meth, 1400 block of 13th.

2:07 p.m. – John Burton Hamacher Jr., 54, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 49000 block of Quartzville.

4:42 p.m. – Jason Milton Dalebout, 44, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Deschutes County.

April 23

6:28 a.m. – Kenneth Daniel Helfrich, 38, arrested for restraining order violation, 1483 Fern Lane. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:42 a.m. – Caller reported a male and female were living in a trailer without permission, 3700 block of Long. Trailer was unoccupied upon officer arrival. Business card left.

12:43 p.m. – Caller reported that neighbors keep taking photos of him and filing false reports, 4900 block of Nandina. He wanted to know his options. Officer responded and advised him of his options in the ongoing neighborhood dispute. The officer later learned from another case that the neighbors were taking photos because the caller was stealing water from the fire hydrant. The city was not interested in pursuing criminal charges but wanted the caller counseled on his actions. Caller counseled. No further action.

1:50 p.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash, 40500 block of Highway 228. No injuries. No lane blockage.

5:16 p.m. – Caller found a random bicycle lying in his front yard, 2200 block of Long.

7:23 p.m. – Caller reported finding people who had her dog, which was stolen in August, 1400 block of 1st. Officer responded. They had purchased the dog from an unknown male in August. Dog returned to the caller.

7:48 p.m. – Caller requested that a male be advised to stop contacting her, 1900 block of Long. Officer responded, contacted the male and advised him to stop contacting the caller.

April 22

7:47 a.m. – Matthew Allen Pitts, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for two counts of failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and failure to appear on original charges of menacing and second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County.

11:13 a.m. – Caller reported multiple chainsaws and power tools stolen from a shed, 48800 block of Highway 20.

2:01 p.m. – Student falsely activated the school fire alarm, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Officer counseled the student.

2:24 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her phone and ID, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Repot taken. Loss valued at $900. Investigation continuing.

2:42 p.m. – Caller reported that someone ran into his vehicle while he was parked, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Damage less than $2,500.

4:17 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stolen envelope of money from her residence, 1200 block of 44th. Report taken. Loss valued at $475.

4:57 p.m. – Caller found a phone, 18th and Main. Placed in found property.

7:17 p.m. – Bryce William McGowan, 35, cited on Sweet Home warrant for two counts of failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended.

April 21

7:40 a.m. – Caller reported a dog chasing livestock, 40100 block of Mountain Home.
