7:52 a.m. – Dog at large, killing chickens. Dog was taken by Sheriff’s deputy to Linn County Animal Control. 43000 block Ames Creek Road.

4:09 p.m. – Caller reports an abandoned bicycle, Green River Rd./47th Ave. Officer responded bicycle placed in property.

6:01 p.m. – Leola Nulene Ellingsen, 31, arrested on Benton County Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass, Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

9:34 p.m. – Michael Austin Hurley, 41, arrested on a North Bend Police Department warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third degree theft, North Bend Police Department.

May 4

1:36 a.m. – Caller reports two unsecured vehicles gone through at location, 1011 Vista Lane. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and first degree theft. Approximate loss of value $800.

2:12 a.m. – Caller reports vehicle entered into and tools taken, 1969 37th Circle. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and first degree theft, approximate loss of value $1,500 to $2,000.

2:49 a.m. – Caller reports unsecured vehicle entered into, wallet taken, 4955 Maple Drive. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle and third degree theft, approximate loss of value $45.

2:59 a.m. – While on traffic stop, driver gave officer backpack belonging to passenger who left vehicle, Main near 4th. Property seized.

8:56 a.m. – Caller reports someone entered into her vehicle and stole a laptop, 1041 Vista Lane. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle and second degree theft. Unknown value of theft, but over $100.

1:18 p.m. – Caller reports someone entered into his unsecured vehicle and stole his firearm, 1031 Vista Lane. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle and theft. Approximate value $525.

3:36 p.m. – Deputy spoke to concerned visitor about recent cougar sightings around Foster Dam. Visitor claimed to have seen a cougar two nights previous near Lakeshore Park and reported that the cougar traveled down the road towards Wiley Park. 2000 block 54th Avenue.

4:02 p.m. – Cody Lamar Baker, 20, arrested on Coos Bay Police Department warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving with a suspended license, Coos Bay Police Department.

4:16 p.m. – Austyn Mitchell Lee Clark, 27, arrested on Albany Police Department warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failing to appear on an original charge of driving with a suspended license, Albany Police Department.

10:01 p.m. – Caller reports being unable to contact male for over a month, 4th Avenue. Officer responded, report taken.

May 5

6:25 a.m. – Caller reports someone broke into office and stole cash, 2295 Main St. Officer responded, report taken for second degree burglary and second degree theft. Approximate value $125. Investigation continuing.

7:12 a.m. – Sarah Campbell, 38, of Sweet Home, cited for speeding, 58/35, Bishop Way/Faust Street, Brownsville.

7:41 a.m. – Deputies responded to trespass call on Cascade Timber Consulting property in 28700 block Scott Mountain Road. Unknown subject was building structure in trees. Structure, built of pallets, was located and torn down. No one found in area.

7:45 a.m. – Ayden Reid Zimmerman, 22, cited for speeding 44 in a 25, 2100 Block Main St.

10:31 a.m. – Nicholas Scott Warren, 41, cited and released for second degree criminal trespass, 1530 Main St.

12:40 p.m. – Chaylan Dale Tosta, 39, arrested on a Corvallis Police Department warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass, Corvallis Police Department.

3:57 p.m. – Anthony Ensley, 38, cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, 1400 block 13th.

8:01 p.m. – Caller reports female ran into side of building with vehicle, 5401 Main St. Foster Lake Market. Another caller reports female hit building and a parked vehicle, left on foot, north on 54th Ave. Appears to be intoxicated. Officer responded, Pamela Marie Henderson, 63, cited and released for hit and run. Also cited for driving with a suspended license, driving uninsured, and failing to install ignition interlock device.

May 6

2:44 a.m. – Theresa Christina Alberts, 32, arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third degree theft, Albany Police Department.

7:00 a.m. – Timothy Tyrell Combs, 39, arrested on Linn County Sheriff’s Office warrant for possession of a restricted weapon and failure to appear on an original charge. Cited and released on Albany Municipal warrant for driving with a suspended license, Long & 47th.

8:48 a.m. – Caller reported driver doing burnouts in gravel driveway, 26500 block Scott Mountain Road. Deputy documented information.

7:40 p.m. – Caller reported catalytic converter theft, 45000 block Quartzville Road. Report taken.

May 7

9:20 a.m. – Allen Evans, 49, of Florida, cited for driving while suspended, 47300 block Quartzville Road. Report taken.

9:31 a.m. – Local business reported that a check was stolen and someone had forged a copy of the check with their information on it, then cashed the nearly $3,000 check. 25500 block Rice Road. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

11:05 a.m. – Deputy contacted motor home in 48700 block Quartzville Road with four young children inside. Adult male was warned for illegal camping. According to Sheriff’s log, he told deputy “I didn’t see any signs.” Deputy pointed out that he had passed large sign at the dam and “no camping” alerts painted on the road. Male agreed to move.

11:37 a.m. – Deputies responded to disturbance reported in 28100 block Ridgeway Road. Uncovered evidence of other potential crimes, “unrelated to the disturbance,” of sexual nature. Investigation continuing. Report taken.

12:16 p.m. – Dog returned to owner. Tyler Jackson Horner, 30, cited for dog as a public nuisance, 1950 Main St.

1:00 p.m. – Deputy contacted female sleeping in motor home in 43400 block Marks Ridge Drive, on overlook on Army Corps of Engineers property. Neighbor told deputy motor home had been there all night. Female told deputy her boyfriend had gone to town for supplies and they were headed to Bend to live. Warned for illegal camping.

1:36 p.m. – Peter Robert Piazza, 37, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second degree animal neglect, 1890 Grape St.

4:48 p.m. – Machaelray Jensen, 40, cited and released on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 2405 Main St. 7 Eleven.

6:23 p.m. – Caller reports possible death at Sankey Park. Officer responded, unconscious female due to possible overdose. Transported to Linn County Hospital.

7:40 p.m. – Caller reports male is wandering in and out of her backyard at location, 936 Nandina St. Officer responded, contacted male, male trespassed from location.

May 8

8:46 a.m. – Report of dead sheep on private property in 43200 block Marks Ridge Drive. Deputies determined it was most likely killed by a predator. Caller provided information about live trap options for predators.

9:26 a.m. – Caller found a small bag in the road, 12th Ave/Hawthorne St. Officer responded, item placed in property.

11:31 a.m. – Caller found a syringe in the flower bed, 1101 13th Ave. Officer responded, item disposed of.

7:19 p.m. – Multiple callers report motor vehicle crash at location, blocking intersection. Officer responded, parties exchanged information, tan Ford towed from location, 8th and Elm. Hernandez, 17, cited for failing to obey traffic control device.

7:21 p.m. – Caller reports car was vandalized, 4610 Main St. Officer responded, report taken, approximate value of damages $150.

3:06 a.m. – Collin William Church, 29, arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving, Keizer Police Department.

9:40 a.m. – Caller reports someone stole his generator from the back of his pickup, 4028 Osage St. Officer responded, report taken for second degree theft, approximate value $600.

10:20 a.m. – Caller reports someone left a purse on the fire hydrant at location, 2405 Main St. Officer responded, item placed in property.

2:22 p.m. – Jamie Daniel Carpenter, 44, arrested for possession of meth. Cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on an original criminal citation X2, possession of meth, third degree theft, and attempting to commit a class C felony, Main St/ 12th Ave.

9:23 p.m. – Hayden John Logan Branam, 19, arrested for domestic violence harassment, domestic violence strangulation, third degree robbery, and criminal mischief, 31925 Fritz Drive.
