12:23 a.m. – Caller reported her vehicle was hit while parked at the Elks Lodge, 440 Osage St. Report taken. Damage approximately $2,500.

3:38 a.m. – Rochelle Arquette Zamacona, 21, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Officer reported that a prisoner had destroyed a food tray.

10:03 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a drill bit set and a hydraulic jack, 1100 block of 18th. Report taken. Value approximately $120.

1:38 p.m. – Caller reported a squatter has been staying in his house, 900 block of Long. Report taken.

6:37 p.m. – Oregon State Police reported a black Ferrari traveling at approximately 120 mph on Highway 20. Officers advised they would be on the lookout.

7:17 p.m. – Young Han Hyun, 51, cited for failure to obey traffic control device, 6000 block of Main.

11:27 p.m. – Caller reported someone jumping over a fence and trying to break into a house, 4800 block of 48th. Officer checked area. Unable to locate.

9:29 a.m. – Caller reported that someone used her credit card, 500 block of Seventh. Report taken. Loss was $469.

1:26 p.m. – Caller found a knife on the side of the road, 3000 block of Main. Knife seized.

3:06 p.m. – Frederick Wilkins Cadger, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 2400 block of Main. Cited and released.

4:27 p.m. – Amanda Rae Stafford, 38, arrested on state warrant for parole violation and cited for possession of marijuana, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported a male hit a female across the head and then they were were arguing in front of the store.

5:44 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a $25 ceramic planter from the yard, 4500 block of Airport Lane. Report taken.

6:58 p.m. – Brandon Ryan Freeman, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of criminal trespass, 14th and Kalmia. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:20 p.m. – Rochelle Arquette Zamacona, 21, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 785 Long St. Cited and released.

11:39 p.m. – Jose Luis Valentin Cervantes, 42, arrested for driving under the influence and cited for reckless driving and failure to maintain lane, 1306 Main St. Cited and released.

May 9

3:42 a.m. – Caller reported a male covered in blood walking down Main Street, west in the 2000 block. Officer unable to locate anybody.

7:04 a.m. – Caller reported a homeless male sleeping by the back door, 1150 Elm St., Elm Street Baptist Church. Officer contacted a male who was trespassed. He moved along after gathering his belongings.

1:43 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a power saw from his pickup, 6300 block of Main. Report taken. Saw valued at $500.

2:31 p.m. – Caller reported a pickup parked in the area for two weeks, 300 block of 11th. Referred to code enforcement.

4:52 p.m. – Caller reported that someone who cleaned the adjacent parking lot has moved all the debris into the street, 1300 block of 13th. Referred to code enforcement.

7:51 p.m. – Caller reported a male stole food from the Safeway deli and bakery, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

12:04 a.m. – Caller reported juveniles spray painting several buildings, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Caller scared them off. Report taken. Cost of cleanup estimated at $180.

7:34 a.m. – Caller reported audible alarm at Bethel Lutheran Church, 2590 Long St. Report taken for burglary.

9:31 a.m. Caller reported subjects camped on private property, 47th Avenue just north of the railroad tracks. Two subjects warned and given 24 hours to vacate the property.

8:15 p.m. – Caller reported the possible theft of a credit card, 3100 block of Main. Report taken.

10:21 p.m. – Melony Irene Shockman, 39, cited and released in field for misdemeanor driving while suspended.

12:15 a.m. – Roxanna Marie Beaver, 40, arrested on Marion County warrant for third-degree theft and Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft and a criminal citation. She also was cited for driving while suspended, 18th and Kalmia. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:09 a.m. – Julie Krystal Hydrick (Olson), 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, McMinnville. Cited and released.

1:55 a.m. – James Matthew Reynolds, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

6:27 a.m. – Caller reported finding possible drugs while running, Mountain View and Juniper. Item seized for destruction.

11:47 a.m. – Daniel Lee Kellum, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Ninth and Main.

9:38 p.m. – Jay Dean Lyon, 38, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:33 a.m. – Caller reported that someone hit his vehicle while parked at 621 Main St., Thriftway, and did not inform him. Report taken.

10:36 a.m. – Sweet Home warrant issued for John Pablo Scott II, 24, for third-degree escape.

12:08 p.m. – Meagen Rae Veirs, 22, cited for driving uninsured, 2405 Main St, Circle K.

12:19 p.m. – Chris Lorraine Reigstad, 46, turned herself in on a Sweet Home warrant for misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

3:12 p.m. – Caller reported that a truck has been parked on the street for a prolonged period of time, 00 block of Osage. Referred to code enforcement.

4:37 p.m. – Caller reported an accumulation of vehicles and miscellaneous items in public view, 1200 block of 40th. Referred to code enforcement.

5:43 p.m. – Caller reported that his cat is missing, and he had noticed that a neighbor has live traps in his yard, 1500 block of Ninth. Investigation pending.

6:02 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 5800 block of Highway 20. Caller reported it appeared a vehicle had run into the back of a log truck. No injuries. No citations.

7 p.m. – Sara Ann Bejar Suarez, 31, cited for driving while suspended, 1300 block of Long.

9:43 p.m. – Daniel Kenneth Oberg, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of theft by receiving, 877 14th Ave., Weddle Bridge. Cited and released.

May 4

2:39 p.m. – While removing property from the road, officer located a sinkhole, Fourth and Highway 228. Officer remained on scene until Public Works and Oregon Department of Transportation arrived to secure the road.

7:37 p.m. – William Ernest Cockrell, 51, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

May 2

3:16 p.m. – Tyler Lanz, 23, cited for driving while suspended and no insurance, 39300 block of Highway 228. Vehicle impounded as a nuisance.

May 1

1:52 a.m. – Caller reported hearing a gunshot and then a man yelling and threatening two other men, 41300 block of Port Drive. A man got into a truck and drove away, toward Sweet Home. Caller reported neighbor saw a prowler running and fired a warning shot into the ground. The suspect was not found. No damage to any building or attempts to enter were found.

2:55 p.m. – Caller reported his mailbox was vandalized, 27400 block of Riggs Hill.

April 30

6:09 a.m. – Caller reported 23 gallons of gasoline, worth $85, was stolen from her vehicle, 26900 block of Old Holley. Report taken.

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported an ongoing problem with people dumping trash near the Wodtli Rock Pit, 27800 block of Liberty. Requested extra patrol.
