May 14

7:13 a.m. – Caller reported that someone left a tent or canopy in front of his house, 1000 block of 1st. Placed in found property.

1:45 p.m. – Pamela Mae Adams, 60, cited for violating city’s second-hand dealer license ordinance by allegedly purchasing items from a juvenile, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Items may be purchased from adults only under a second-hand dealer license. The items also had been reported stolen.

11:05 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog barks constantly, 1200 block of 46th. Officer contacted a female and advised her of the complaint. The female said her son was visiting for the day and had brought his dog along with him. The dog would remain in the house for the remainder of his visit.

11:34 a.m. – Caller reported that a female broke into his house and used his medication, 900 block of 14th. Officer contacted both parties involved. Report taken and forwarded to district attorney for review.

11:45 a.m. – Caller reported a male with four dogs camped by the railroad tracks near 47th Avenue. Officer contacted the male, who advised that he was only down there to bury his dog. The male agreed to leave the area within the next few minutes.

12:41 p.m. – Caller reported that an aggressive dog can almost squeeze through a hole in the fence, 500 block of 6th. The caller wanted the owner to be made aware of it before it gets out and bites someone. Officer contacted the owner, who was preparing to fix the fence prior to officer arrival. Officer advised of him of the complaint.

5:24 p.m. – Caller reported that someone left a bunch of tools in her driveway, 500 block of West Holley. Placed in found property.

5:50 p.m. – Robert Aaron Davis, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Benton County. Cited and released.

8 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 1500 block of Tamarack. Placed in kennel.

9:02 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, Highway 228 and Oak Terrace. No citations. No injuries. Information exchanged.

May 13

12:28 p.m. – A deputy saw a camp set up on Campbell Global property just below Miners Meadow near milepost 21 on Quartzville. The camp had a truck with two tents and numerous tarps set up to keep things dry. A deputy spoke with a man, who said he arrived here Thursday and was leaving first thing in the morning. The deputy advised him camping is not allowed on Campbell Global land in the area. The camper said he was unaware of that and camps there often. He thought he could camp in spots with fire rings.

12:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a person in a red Ford pickup truck took food cans out of mailboxes in the Mountain Home-Liberty area. She said she and several of her neighbors left canned food in bags for the Post Office at their mailboxes.

1:03 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her phone while she was loading her vehicle, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Report taken. Loss valued at $250.

2:19 p.m. – Caller reported two juveniles playing on the roof, 3205 Long St., Hawthorne Elementary School. Officer contacted the juveniles and advised them to leave the school grounds and go home. Officer planned to contact parents.

2:33 p.m. – While on the previous call, officer located a bicycle and placed it in found property.

3:30 p.m. – Ryan Binks, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, McMinnville. Cited and released.

4 p.m. – Autumn Rose Stone, 25, cited for driving uninsured and failure to obey a traffic control device in two-vehicle crash, 44th and Main. No injuries.

6:37 p.m. – Michael Austin Hurley, 37, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrants for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 13th and Main.

6:45 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Leslie, 29, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 13th and Main.

6:55 p.m. – Caller located a hound dog at the west city limits. Placed in kennel and picture posted on Facebook.

May 12

7:10 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs at large, 1000 block of 3rd. One was in her yard and fenced in. The other was still loose. Dogs placed in kennel.

9:25 a.m. – Caller found a fake $20 bill, 800 block of Main. Item seized and placed in found property.

10:39 a.m. – Police received information about a theft that occurred in Keizer, with checks cashed at Thriftway, 621 Main St. Investigation continuing.

10:51 a.m. – Caller reported accumulated trash and debris on the hillside, 900 block of Mountain View. Referred to code enforcement.

11:45 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 1300 block of 19th. Referred to code enforcement.

11:49 a.m. – Caller reported refrigerators and freezers were visible from the street, 2300 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

1:57 p.m. – Caller reported a partially dismantled vehicle parked for at least three weeks, 1900 block of 20th. Posted for removal.

2:46 p.m. – Caller reported that a large pit bull mix showed up, 1100 block of 29th. Owner collected dog prior to officer arrival.

6:50 p.m. – Caller reported a wallet and pistol were taken from his truck two days earlier, 900 block of 1st. Report taken. Loss valued at $525.

7:03 p.m. – Caller brought a stray tan Lhasa apso-shih tzu mix to the Police Department from the 800 block of 18th. Dog placed in kennel. Animal control notified.

May 11

1:19 a.m. – Richard Lee Kintzley, 28, arrested for third-degree theft, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Loss valued at $8.49. Also arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin, Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:16 a.m. – Caller reported that a male just stole a bag of candy, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $1.50.

9:17 a.m. – Caller reported an RV parked on the street for more than four days, 46th and Live Oak. Referred to code enforcement.

9:19 a.m. – Caller reported an RV parked on the street for more than a week, 1200 block of 46th. Referred to code enforcement.

9:26 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 600 block of Eighth. Referred to code enforcement.

9:59 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his garage and stole items, 1900 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $789.

10:28 a.m. – Vehicle posted for removal, 35th and Kalmia.

11:12 a.m. – Caller reported that her father was given meth by a female who told him it was marijuana, and he was hospitalized, 1300 block of 45th. Information noted.

12:41 p.m. – Caller reported that a bicycle was left at location, 3700 block of Long. Placed in found property.

1:49 p.m. – Caller reported that a lawnmower was left at location, 1000 block of Main. Placed in found property.

3:18 p.m. – Tiffany Anne Burks, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

3:46 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog was left in a crate over night, and the vehicle returned the next day, 47th near the railroad tracks. Officer contacted a male, who advised that the dog was very ill and he took it there to bury it.

3:50 p.m. – Caller reported her car was vandalized, 2200 block of Main. Report taken.

4:35 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his garage during the night, 2300 block of Harding. Report taken. Loss valued at $6,812.

5:11 p.m. – Caller reported a utility trailer with lumber parked on the street for more than a week, 1300 block of Sunset. Referred to code enforcement.

5:12 p.m. – Caller reported a utility trailer with trash parked on the street for more than a week, 1300 block of Sunset. Referred to code enforcement.

8:10 a.m. – John Mark Taylor, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, Albany. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:12 p.m. – Caller reported a female standing in the middle of the roadway screaming, “Help me,” 1900 block of Willow. Officer and medics responded. The female had an injury to her knee. She claimed she fell. She was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.

11:22 p.m. – Darrell Berrigan Jr., 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Chewy’s. Cited and released.

11:52 p.m. – Caller reported a female stole a candy bar, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $1.99.

May 10

12:28 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported two 9-1-1 hangup calls from a child, 1700 block of Dogwood. Officer contacted a parent, who said a toddler had gotten hold of a phone.

5:19 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole his security camera from the front porch, 1700 block of Tamarack. Report taken. Loss valued at $70.

5:41 a.m. – Linn County Jail served a Sweet Home warrant on Austin Wayne Sater, 28, for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct.

8:34 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 1000 block of 3rd. Referred to code enforcement.

8:45 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to break into her house, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.

9:09 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle and took paperwork, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Paperwork was located at a neighbor’s house during the investigation.

9:39 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 22nd and Juniper. Referred to code enforcement.

9:50 a.m. – Caller reported that a female threatened to kill her, 2500 block of Long. Information noted.

11:03 a.m. – Malcolm Hinton Hicks, 31, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 755 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail. One caller had reported a male screaming at people and walking into traffic. Another caller had reported a male with a bat wandering around and screaming.

3:15 p.m. – Caller reported persons living in an RV, 1300 block of 47th. Referred to code enforcement.

4:41 p.m. – Trevor Joel Brown, 28, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1356 Elm St. Cited and released. A caller had reported that a male was at the location shoving people and attempted to get a firearm from the caller’s son.

5:18 p.m. – Caller reported that neighbors threw a cell phone at the caller’s residence, 4600 block of Mahogany. Information noted.

6:36 p.m. – Caller reported a group of juveniles throwing around a needle, 900 block of 14th. Officer unable to locate. At 7:30 p.m., the caller reported finding the needle. Officer disposed of the needle.

8 p.m. – Presin James Hugley, 33, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 3100 block of Main.

8:29 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog charged her baby, and “they” came over and punched her brother-in-law, 4000 block of Osage. Neither party wanted to pursue charges. They were able to work out their differences.

9:04 p.m. – Jordan Reed Kitto, 50, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, Albany. Cited and released.

May 9

11:10 a.m. – Caller reported squatters at residence, 1800 block of Fir. Officer responded. Unknown subjects left the area prior to arrival. Officer located a dog at the location. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.

2:19 p.m. – Caller reported that her neighbor’s dog barks constantly, 1800 block of Kalmia. Officer unable to locate any barking dogs.

3:15 p.m. – Caller found a purse, 1300 block of 13th. Placed in found property.

5:22 p.m. – Death investigation, 1800 block of Fir.

7:37 p.m. – Caller reported that a female was yelling at him, telling him that he cannot walk on the sidewalk because it bothers her dogs, 1700 block of Dogwood. Officer spoke with both parties and advised of options.

8:56 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 2200 block of Main. Officer unable to catch dog, which ran west on Main.

9:43 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject going through a trash can and removing trash bags, 35th and Long. Officer counseled the male on his actions.

11:31 p.m. – Caller reported that her dog had its mouth stuck in the kennel, and she needed help to get it free, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer was able to cut the kennel and free the dog.

May 8

7:19 a.m. – Caller reported that a male and female started a large fire in a grill pit, Sankey Park. Officer contacted the male and advised of the complaint. The fire was minor and contained. The male agreed not to make it any larger.

8:08 a.m. – Johnny Lee Stone, 24, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of driving while suspended and probation violation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of improper use of 9-1-1, 18th and Main.

9:24 a.m. – Caller reported a dilapidated vehicle, 4700 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

9:42 a.m. – Caller reported an RV parked for more than seven days with persons staying in it, 100 block of West Holley. Referred to code enforcement.

10:11 a.m. – Caller found a dog, 1200 block of 46th. Placed in kennel. Animal Control picked up the dog.

11:11 a.m. – Caller reported that someone took his backpack out of his vehicle two or three weeks earlier, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $90.

1:44 p.m. – Bryce Taylor Keenon, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 42nd and Osage. Cited and released.

1:57 p.m. – Caller reported that her neighbor was dumping out buckets of gasoline in his yard, 1100 block of Second. Officer contacted the neighbor and educated on the law pertaining to his actions. The male agreed to clean it up, and the officer planned to check back at a later time.

2:05 p.m. – Caller turned in a bike left in her yard, 3200 block of Main. Placed in found property.

2:06 p.m. – Caller reported running over a cat, and it needed to be dispatched, 1500 block of 40th. Officer located and dispatched the cat.

3:27 p.m. – Caller reported that a male was living in the bushes behind his property, 4100 block of Main. Officer contacted the male and advised him to leave the area. The officer planned to check back later.

4:31 p.m. – Caller reported that a male was at his residence going through his things, 2300 block of Main. Report taken.

10:35 p.m. – Elisha Nicole Crippen, 30, arrested on Lincoln County warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence, 900 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail. A caller had reported two intoxicated females charged at him, and he pepper sprayed a female in the face. Another caller reported that a female ran in front of his vehicle, and she had been pepper sprayed.
