May 19

7:40 a.m. – Caller reported a group of juveniles smoking on the Dahlenberg Bridge at Sankey Park. Officer responded and talked to multiple juveniles walking away from the location. All denied doing it and were on their way to school.

9:19 a.m. – Kevin Roy Hampton, 50, turned himself in on a warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

12:40 p.m. – Aaron James Evans, 31, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of theft of services, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

1:19 p.m. – Caller reported that a Postal Service vehicle was in a crash, 400 block of Seventh. Officer assisted in exchanging information between drivers. Damage was less than $1,500.

May 18

12:12 a.m. – John Pablo Scott, 59, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 35900 Courtney Creek Drive. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:32 a.m. – Timothy Ray

Reynolds, 59, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Washington County. Cited and released.

8:34 a.m. – Caller found a wallet, 400 block of Eighth. Placed in found property.

12:42 p.m. – Tiffany Ann Persinger, 30, cited for no license and no insurance, Highway 228. Vehicle impounded.

5:53 p.m. – Kristopher S. Clark, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Transported to Linn County Jail.

May 17

1:09 a.m. – Caller reported his friend’s wallet was stolen, 24rd and Long. Report taken.

2:13 p.m. – Ryan Logan Binks, 21, arrested on state warrant for contempt of court on original charge of possession of meth, 2000 Main St. Cited and released.

May 16

8:13 a.m. – David Ray Thornbrough, 49, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for obstructing police, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

8:26 a.m. – Caller reported a van that does not belong to her blocking her driveway, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Vehicle towed as a hazard.

1:04 p.m. – Zachary Shane Stegner, 28, arrested on five counts of contempt of court, mill at east end of Tamarack. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:35 p.m. – Officer located drug paraphernalia, mill property at east end of Tamarack.

1:50 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass and weeds, Airport Road. Referred to code enforcement.

6:04 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of washer and dryer when renters moved out, 1100 block of Second. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.

7:50 a.m. – Delilah S. Queen, 15, taken into custody for third-degree theft and referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of alcohol and Elle L. Steele, 17, taken into custody for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Both released to parents.

9:02 p.m. – James Ronald Rodman, 54, cited for using a cell phone while driving and failure to update address on license.

11:08 p.m. – Brian Anthony Fox, 21, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Clackamas County Jail.

May 15

6:36 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a vehicle during the night, 100 block of 10th. Officer responded. Vehicle was signed as stolen. Linn County Sheriff’s office located the vehicle at the same time.

8:25 a.m. – Officer located an abandoned vehicle on a dead end street, 1300 block of 45th. Officer contacted the registered owner, who said the vehicle had been stolen sometime during the evening hours. Vehicle was signed as stolen and returned to the owner.

8:41 a.m. – Caller reported that gasoline was stolen from his vehicle during the night, 300 block of Ninth. Report taken. Approximate value was $20.

8:49 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 1800 block of 18th. Referred to code enforcement.

8:49 a.m. – Caller reported a loaded log truck, 900 block of Mountain View. Referred to code enforcement.

8:51 a.m. – Caller reported trailer improperly parked, 1200 block of 12th. Referred to code enforcement.

9:12 a.m. – Caller reported that her neighbor’s chickens continually get loose and tear up her yard, 4600 block of Airport Lane. Referred to code enforcement.

11:14 a.m. – Caller reported improper posting of sign, 1100 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

11:23 a.m. – Angie Phyllis Dawn Nohrenberg, 38, arrested for contempt of court and on Lebanon warrant for third-degree theft, 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:34 p.m. – Caller reported that mail was stolen from her mailbox and put into her neighbor’s mailbox after items were stolen from packages, 1200 block of 47th. Information noted.

2:31 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass and overflowing garbage, 1100 block of 24th. Referred to code enforcement.

3:57 p.m. – Caller reported improper sign, Clark Mill and Long. Referred to code enforcement.

4:32 p.m. – Caller reported he had belongings stored on his friend’s porch, and they went missing, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Report taken. Items valued at $250.

7:24 p.m. – Colton Kendall McKay, 18, cited for careless driving contributing to an accident, 44th and Airport area. Less than $1,500 in damage. Caller had reported a vehicle driving erratically and hitting a sidewalk on Airport Road. Vehicle was unable to move.

8:24 p.m. – Single-vehicle rollover, Highway 228 and Evergreen. Damage more than $1,500. No injuries. No citations.

May 14

9:42 a.m. – Caller reported bags of garbage in the driveway, 300 block of W. Pine. Referred to code enforcement.

9:45 a.m. – Caller reported someone living in an RV, 1000 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.

9:49 a.m. – Melissa Jean Ackley, 36, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and cited for driving while suspended, Towne Pump. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:57 a.m. – Billy Ray Arnold, 55, cited for following too closely in two-vehicle crash, 2000 block of Main. Second driver was Jerrun Triplett, 64. No injuries.

10:57 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her mailbox, 4700 block of Airport Road. Information noted.

11:07 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 24th and Main. Referred to code enforcement.

11:10 a.m. – Caller reported blackberries and brush growing over the sidewalks, 1400 block of 24th. Referred to code enforcement.

2:45 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 4000 block of Osage. Referred to code enforcement.

6:12 p.m. – Caller reported locating a syringe near Foster Lake. Officer seized it for disposal.

7:10 p.m. – Caller reported finding a debit card, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s. Placed in found property.

7:50 p.m. – Caller found a syringe on her property, 1400 block of 53rd. Syringe seized for disposal.

8:16 p.m. – Officer attempted a traffic stop. Vehicle eluded. Driver abandoned vehicle after crash at the city limits on Wiley Creek Drive. Report taken for recovered stolen vehicle.

11:45 p.m. – When an officer attempted to arrest a male subject on a warrant, the male fled on foot, Tamarack and 18th. Area searched. Unable to locate male. Bicycle left by male seized for safekeeping. Report taken for third-degree escape.

May 13

2:49 p.m. – Caller reported tall weeds and grass, 900 block of 23rd. Referred to code enforcement.

3:26 p.m. – Eugene James May, 40, arrested for parole violation and cited for third-degree theft, and Angela Dianne McDonald, 36, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. May transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported shoplifters at location.

4:30 p.m. – Caller reported yard lights were stolen during the night, 800 block of Seventh. Report taken. Value was about $20.

4:51 p.m. – Caller reported a loaded log truck parked in front of the church, 22nd and Mountain View. Referred to code enforcement.

6:10 p.m. – Caller reported finding a needle near the street, 18th and Tamarack. Officer seized needle for disposal.

May 12

4:01 p.m. – Rochelle A. Zamacona, 22, arrested for attempted theft, 39000 block of Highway 228.

May 8

9:31 p.m. – Kody Albrecht, 24, cited for pig at large, 28200 block of Pleasant Valley. Caller reported that a pig had just been hit in the roadway. Deputy assisted in exchange of information between driver and owner.
