May 19

11:10 a.m. – Caller reported a golden Lab running loose in the area, 1200 block of Laurel. Officer located the dog and contacted the owner, who requested the dog be placed in the owner’s residence.

11:50 a.m. – Stacy Teixeira, 53, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on two original counts of possession of meth and Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear, 3700 block of Long. Cited and released.

3:53 p.m. – Donald Blake Miller, 22, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Marion County Jail.

4;08 p.m. – Caller turned in a dog located near McQueen and Highway 228. Placed in kennel for pickup by Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

4:10 p.m. – Alejandro Martinez Arciniega, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Linn County.

5:41 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the caller’s residence, 1000 block of Cedar. Unknown if anything was taken from the residence.

8:46 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a vehicle, 6300 block of Main. Report taken.

9:29 p.m. – Shelby Lynne Wymetalek, 23, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree theft, 800 block of 14th. Cited and released.

10:06 p.m. – Andrew Jacob Justin Cartwright, 32, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Long and Oak Terrace.

May 18

4:42 p.m. – Caller reported a generator, engine and two extension ladders stolen, 27400 block of Fern Ridge. Report taken.

10:22 a.m. – Celia Peterson, 34, reported a window broke out on a vehicle, 4000 block of Long. Report taken.

11:10 a.m. – Caller reported the front window of a residence broken, 700 block of 12th. Report taken.

1:39 p.m. – Gilbert Alonzo Martinez, 43, arrested by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for second-degree criminal trespass.

2:01 p.m. – Kirstin Mengore, 47, cited for no license and no current insurance, 1200 block of 13th.

2:51 p.m. – Caller reported domestic violence issued occurring within the previous 10 days, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

3:10 p.m. – Tracy Backman, 52, cited for careless driving and driving without insurance, 1700 block of 12th. Caller had reported her vehicle being hit in her driveway.

5:41 p.m. – Rhett Tucker, 23, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and failure to appear on a criminal citation and an original charge of first-degree theft, 1950 Main St. Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

8:28 p.m. – Tyson Derek Boren, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 900 block of Long. Cited and released.

May 17

9:53 a.m. – Caller reported a female sleeping on the track at Husky Field. Officer responded. Female went on her way and was trespassed from high school properties.

10:32 a.m. – Caller reported two subjects sleeping in the baseball dugouts at the high school baseball field. Officer contacted the two subjects, sent them on their way and trespassed them from the location.

11:25 a.m. – Caller reported a bag of soda cans stolen from his carport, 1000 block of 23rd. Information noted.

2:43 p.m. – Eugene James May, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Dallas.

4:05 p.m. – Andrew Christopher Jones, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

4:11 p.m. – Jennifer Robertson, 45, turned herself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

4:41 p.m. – Robert Kenneth La Follette, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Albany.

7:19 p.m. – Caller reported hitting a small dog, which died, 3200 block of Main. A second caller reported a dog hit and a second dog then penned up in a yard. Owner contacted. One dog back with owner.

May 16

9:20 a.m. – Caller reported that he was in the process of moving when someone broke in and things went missing, 700 block of 7th. Report taken. Caller did not know what was missing or the value of the loss.

9:46 a.m. – Caller reported a male sleeping in a vehicle, 1300 block of 45th. Officer responded. Subject was a transient who was resting and would move on soon.

10:38 a.m. – Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 31, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal mischief, 3200 block of Main.

11:12 a.m. – Caller reported a theft, 43100 block of North River. Report taken.

12:02 p.m. – Caller reported cans stolen from the back of her truck, 4300 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

12:09 p.m. – Donald Ray Walkup Jr., 24, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

12:36 p.m. – Caller reported a Verizon account was opened in his name, 700 block of Birch. Information noted.

1:09 p.m. – Caller reported fuel lines on her vehicle had been cut, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

2:37 p.m. – Caller reported backing into her neighbor, 1000 block of 3rd. Report taken. Damage more than $2,500. No injuries. No citations.

3:35 p.m. – Caller reported a physical disturbance, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Parties separated. Investigation continuing.

4:02 p.m. – Caller reported several transients at 1266 15th Ave., Wells Fargo, and the caller was unable to use the ATM. Officer responded and trespassed two males from the location.

4:18 p.m. – Caller reported a small child left in a running vehicle in the parking lot, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded. Unable to locate.

4:23 p.m. – Cameron Michael Wark, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 2200 block of Long. Cited and released.

4:36 p.m. – Caller reported criminal mischief, 27000 block of Greenville. Report taken.

7:56 p.m. – Caller reported a small brown male dog loose in the 500 block of 4th. Dog seized and then released to owner.

May 15

4:52 a.m. – Caller reported a window broken out, 604 Main St., Dutch Bros. It did not appear anything had been taken. Report taken.

7:01 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his house, 40700 block of Country Lane. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

10:33 a.m. – Caller found needles, 1023 Main St., Trash to Treasure. Officer disposed of the needles.

12:50 p.m. – Caller reported an ATM cash dispenser had been glued, 1428 Main St., Linn-Co Federal Credit Union. Report taken.

1:01 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked with people inside it for an extended period, 1100 block of 18th. Officer contacted individuals who were playing Pokemon Go.

2:27 p.m. – Caller reported that someone backed into the caller’s truck, damaging the bumper. Report taken. Loss less than $2,500.

2:38 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stuffed items down his black coat and left on a green bicycle, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Loss valued at $15.

9:02 p.m. – Caller reported her tires had been slashed again, 600 block of Ironwood. Report taken. Loss valued at $400.

May 14

8:13 a.m. – Rusty Aaron Eli, 29, cited on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, 43400 block of Marks Ridge.

2:30 p.m. – Caller reported someone used his identity to open a Verizon account, 1000 block of 3rd. Information noted.

2:41 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had lost a tire and was in the center lane causing traffic to back up, 18th and Main. Officer responded. Vehicle had been removed from the roadway.

3:10 p.m. – Caller reported that a van hit his parked vehicle, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Information noted.

3:47 p.m. – Sammy Raymond Hughes, 18, arrested for third-degree theft and a 17-year-old juvenile taken into custody for third-degree theft and detained as a runaway, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Hughes cited and released. Juvenile cited and released to guardian.

8:53 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor was harassing him by shooting a bow and arrow at the property line, 1400 block of 53rd. Officer counseled parties and trespassed them from each other’s properties. Report to be forwarded to city attorney.

May 13

9:11 a.m. – Caller turned in a capsule of meth. Item seized for destruction.

9:21 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked facing the wrong direction and blocking a lane of travel, 1400 block of 53rd. Vehicle impounded.

9:36 a.m. – Leslie Lafayette Bone, 51, arrested on Linn County warrant for possession of meth and driving under the influence, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

12:13 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in front of her house, 1200 block of Nandina. When asked to leave, the occupant called the caller a vulgar name. Officer responded. Vehicle gone upon arrival. Information noted.

1:02 p.m. – Caller reported fraudulent use of a credit card, 41900 block of North River.

1:05 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor put graffiti on his signs, 4900 block of Nandina Officer contacted all parties involved. The neighbor denied responsibility. She was counseled at the caller’s request.

2:13 p.m. – Caller reported her landlord was being verbally and physically abusive, 1100 block of 46th. Caller was reporting minor physical contact but did not wish to pursue charges. Both parties counseled for their actions. They agreed to remain civil for the time being.

2:32 p.m. – Caller reported an infant left in a car alone for at least 15 minutes, 2414 Main St., Dollar Tree. Officer unable to locate.

2:46 p.m. – Caller found a credit card in the road, 27th and Foothills. Card placed in found property.

8:25 p.m. – Stephanie Hance, 33, cited on warrant for probation violation, 40900 block of Highway 228.

9:49 p.m. – Caller reported three transients sleeping in the bus stop, Kalmia and 13th. Officer contacted the individuals, who were to move along shortly.

May 12

9:20 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered a boat and took medications, ID, life jackets, a fishing pole and clothing worth more than $400, 44900 block of Quartzville. Report taken.

2:52 p.m. – Kayla Coshow, 19, arrested on Albany warrant for second-degree criminal trespass, River Bend Park.

9 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a motor home generator worth $300, 27200 block of High Deck.
