May 23

4:10 a.m. – Caller reported his GMC pickup stolen during the night, 900 block of Seventh. Report taken.

8:09 a.m. – Caller reported three bicycles stolen, 600 block of 17th. Report taken. Loss valued at $175.

9:01 a.m. – Caller reported a dog that appeared to be lost and running in traffic, 1200 block of Clark Mill. Officer found a dog in a backyard where he believed it belonged. The officer fixed a hole that it may have used to get out.

11:36 a.m. – Caller reported a mangy-looking dog hanging out near the Methodist Church for days, 800 block of Sixth. Officer was unable to locate dog.

May 22

3:04 a.m. – Caller reported that juveniles have a portable door bell, and they are ringing it outside his bedroom in the backyard, 4900 block of Mimosa. Officer unable to locate. Caller reported it again at 5:35 a.m., but the officer was again unable to locate anyone.

11:35 a.m. – Caller reported a broken door, 1800 block of Yucca. Report taken for burglary, theft and criminal mischief. Some items were recovered in the woods. Some remained missing.

1:35 p.m. – Julia Anne Payne, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and multiple agency warrants, Lebanon. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:18 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose in her yard, 1300 block of Quince. Officer responded and located owner.

9:41 p.m. – Carson Albert Strasser, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Lebanon. Cited and released.

May 21

3:05 a.m. – Caller reported a male dragging her across the living room, 1200 block of Wiley Creek. She locked herself in a room, and the male was threatening to have a female come over to assault her. Officer responded and contacted all parties involved. Conflicting stories. No arrests required. Report to be forwarded to city attorney for review.

3:44 a.m. – Caller reported a cougar crossing Main Street in the 4900 block. Officer unable to locate. Dispatch left message with Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

11:40 a.m. – Daniel Stuart Arstill, 55, cited for driving while suspended, Country Star.

12:24 p.m. – Caller reported her bicycle stolen, 1100 block of Main. Information noted. The caller was not the owner of the bicycle.

3:43 p.m. – Caller reported two large dogs running loose and trying to get neighborhood animals, 1600 block of 13th. Officer located dogs. Owner was not home at the time.

10:26 p.m. – Elizabeth Lynn Brown, 34, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, 1200 12th Ave. Chewy’s.

May 20

1:29 a.m. – Desirae Estelle Johnson, 24, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to renew registration, Mountain View and Ames Creek. Vehicle impounded.

5:50 a.m. – Denver Larson, 64, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence (owes five days in jail) and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 1197 49th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:14 a.m. – Caller reported a male sleeping in the Starbuck’s area, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller could not wake the male up to leave. Officer woke up the subject, and he moved along.

8:15 a.m. – Dewayne Lee Edwards, 43, cited for driving while suspended.

11:13 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs run loose in the neighborhood every day, and one chases cars, 1300 block of Quince. Officer unable to locate dogs. The next time the dogs are loose, the caller would attempt to catch them and advise the Police Department.

12:17 p.m. – Seventeen-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for third-degree theft and minor in possession of alcohol, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Released to parent.

2:04 p.m. – Caller reported unlicensed dogs running at large in an apartment complex, 5300 block of Poplar. One of the dogs is aggressive and snaps at children. Officer unable to locate. Would check back later.

2:28 p.m. – Lisa Marie Krisman, 44, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and Albany warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, 1607 11th Ave.

4:02 p.m. – Caller reported a male saying he’s with an alarm company that the caller doesn’t have, 900 block of First. The subject was asking about the caller’s alarm system. Officer contacted the male subject, who had a peddler’s license.

4:12 p.m. – Caller reported an aggressive dog, 1900 block of 19th. Officer unable to locate.

4:14 p.m. – Twelve-year-old male reported a male throwing a knife at the caller and then stabbing his bike tire, Sankey Park. Officer contacted involved parties. Investigation concluded that the report was unfounded.

4:33 p.m. – Caller reported a female walking around and asking about security alarms and refusing to identify which company she works for, 17th and Dogwood. Officer unable to locate.

11:41 p.m. – Michael Scott Doyle, 45, cited for driving while suspended, 4610 Main St.

May 19

1:19 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog is constantly barking, 4700 block of Long. Officer responded. Dog was barking. Officer unable to contact owner and left a business card.

4:32 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running east on Main Street trying to attack vehicles, 3200 block of Main. Officer located dog but was unable to capture the dog.

10:11 a.m. – Caller reported a dog inside a fenced area, and caller wanted an officer to pick it up, 3200 block of Main. Officer responded and found a black and white border collie mix. The dog escaped the fenced area.

10:43 a.m. – Caller requested that an officer pick up non-recyclable items that had been left in the recycling bin, 1101 13th Ave., Sweet Home Public Library. Report taken for theft of services.

11:01 a.m. – Caller reported that someone cut off the end of a water hose in the caller’s yard with the water left running, causing a large water bill, 1300 block of Poplar. Officer responded. Caller said the damage occurred three days earlier, and she was able to fix the damage. Information noted.

11:05 a.m. – Caller reported that a subject against whom she has a no stalking order was in the same store she was the previous night, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.

11:58 a.m. – Caller reported that while her vehicle was parked, someone hit and left without contacting her, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Report taken.

11:45 a.m. – Caller turned in a fanny pack he found in the street, 18th and Elm. Placed in found property.

12:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog in the area is kept in a small container with no food or water, 900 block of Mountain View. Officer responded. No one home at location. The animal had shelter and food. Officer gave it water and left a business card for the owner. The officer planned to address issues with the owner.

1:19 p.m. – Caller reported a bathtub and other debris in the yard, 3100 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

2:32 p.m. – Caller reported an aggressive dog, 1900 block of 19th. Officer responded. Animal gone upon officer arrival.

3:04 p.m. – Caller reported a male sleeping on the ground in the parking lot, 1100 block of 12th. Officer contacted a male who was up and on his way.

3:59 p.m. – Caller reported that a male subject beat her up and left, 900 block of 47th. Report taken for harassment.

4:33 p.m. – Caller turned in keys she found in the roadway, Airport and 50th. Placed in found property.

5 p.m. – Caller reported a male urinating on the side of a building, 1300 block of Main. Officer contacted a male, who denied the accusation. Officer asked him to move along.

5:07 p.m. – Caller reported his belongings were stolen, 1200 block of Long. Report taken.

6:16 p.m. – Justin Ray Gomez, 24, arrested for harassment (domestic violence) and strangulation, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows, space 303. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:33 p.m. – Kari Ann Beckner, 20, cited and released in field for hit and run and careless driving, property, 40925 Skyline Drive.

May 18

10:31 a.m. – Robert Dean Whitton, 62, arrested on Marion County warrant for contempt of court, 1600 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:11 p.m. – Caller reported finding a bronze head stone in a pile of scrap metal, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Placed in found property.

3:09 p.m. – Caller reported a female asking for fuel, but the female didn’t have the money to pay for it and had not returned to pay 1810 Main St. Report taken. Loss valued at $3.

3:30 p.m. – Caller reported that she let a male use her “Obama phone,” and he hadn’t given it back. She wanted an officer to contact the male and advise him to return the phone. Officer located the male and advised him to return the phone.

4:18 p.m. – Caller reported that someone had been going into her apartment and had taken some items, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $45.50.

5:37 p.m. – Caller reported that her planter was stolen, 1800 block of Fir. Report taken. Loss valued at $15.

7:16 p.m. – Caller reported her laptop stolen, 1200 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

8:18 p.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 27, arrested for first-degree criminal trespass, 1790 Tamarack St. Cited and released. Caller had reported a vacant house and a female standing in the doorway. The front door was open.

May 17

12:54 a.m. – Heather Dean Church, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County.

6:19 a.m. – Caller reported her husband found a bicycle in the driveway, 1000 block of Second. Bike placed in found property.

11:38 a.m. – Stanley Edward Gray, 53, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving under the influence and Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

11:54 a.m. – Caller dropped off a phone he found in the middle of the road, Long and Terrace Lane, at the Police Department. The phone had been run over by a vehicle. Placed in found property.

2:18 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running at large, 4100 block of Osage. Officer returned the dog to owner and warned the owner for dog at large.

2:28 p.m. – Caller reported 5-foot grass, 13th and Quince. Referred to code enforcement.

2:30 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 2900 block of Harding. Referred to code enforcement.

2:31 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 4300 block of Airport. Referred to code enforcement.

3:09 p.m. – Oregon State Police reported a hit and run occurring inside the Sweet Home city limits. The victim tried to follow the suspect vehicle but lost sight of it. Officer responded and took a report.

4:24 p.m. – Caller reported her bicycle was stolen, 500 block of 10th. Report taken.

5:55 p.m. – Caller reported that juveniles threw ranch dressing at her vehicle while she was waiting at 1010 Main St. Officer contacted the caller, who wanted the juveniles counseled if contacted.

6:50 p.m. – Benton County Jail served Kenneth Ray Faulconer on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft, third-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass.

7:21 p.m. – Kenneth George Adair, 48, arrested on Douglas County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1306 Main St., Main Street Market. Transported to Linn County Jail.

May 16

12:42 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole his identity, 2000 block of Long. Information documented.

12:44 a.m. – Caller reported that his air conditioner was stolen within the previous hour from his front porch, 900 block of Long. Report taken.

1:14 p.m. – Caller reported his home was burglarized, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Report taken. Approximately $400 in property was stolen.

11:41 p.m. – Zona Mae Carper, 45, served on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, Linn County Jail.

May 15

12 a.m. – Caller reported that a dog bit someone somewhere on Rowell Hill the previous day. It broke the skin but was not serious. The victim was an adult that was visiting a residence where it happened. The dog did not belong to him, and he declined medical treatment.

7:48 p.m. – Officer responded with medics for an injured male, 6000 block of Main. Officer contacted a female who lost control of her bicycle on the bike path. Medics transported her to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

11:58 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject stealing her laptop, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Report taken.

May 14

8:44 p.m. – Caller reported her boyfriend was holding her mail from her until he gets his gate opener from her. She was holding the gate opener trying to get her mail from him, 40800 block of Highway 228. Deputy responded. Both parties were holding property from each other. They were advised to return each other’s property.

May 13

1:51 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor was cutting down the caller’s fence and was trespassing onto the caller’s property, 1000 block of North River Dr. Deputy responded. The neighbor was replacing a fence line and the caller didn’t like it. It was legal.

May 11

7:32 a.m. – Caller had video of someone throwing a rock through the window at Holley Elementary School. A juvenile suspect was identified and referred to the juvenile department.

9:06 a.m. – Caller said his landlord is evicting him and is withholding his government check and his driver’s license. The mail was placed in his car for him for a period of time. It was then sent back stating that the caller no longer lived at the address. The caller was advised to change his address with the postal service and anyone he is getting mail from.
