May 24

3:03 a.m. – Officer located planters knocked over, Foster Mall. Report taken.

3:17 a.m. – Officer located damage at two locations in the 5400 block of Main. Report taken. Damage valued at $240.

8:30 a.m. – Rondel Allen Adams, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence and also charged with possession of a schedule III substance, 1800 block of 18th. Cited and released.

12 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 49th and Airport. Referred to code enforcement.

12:54 p.m. – Caller reported that a male got into her car while she was returning soda cans, tried to take her stereo and leaving with some change, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

1 p.m. – Caller reported a semi trailer parked on the side of the road, 800 block of Mountain View. Officer responded. Trailer was not loaded and was not a code violation. Driver will attempt to find a better place to park the trailer.

May 23

12:27 a.m. – Seven callers reported hearing two gunshots in the area, Seventh, Eighth and Dogwood. Officer unable to locate source.

10:46 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 100 block of Seventh. Referred to code enforcement.

10:49 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 300 block of Seventh. Referred to code enforcement.

11:22 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle in violation of city ordinance, 800 block of Seventh. Referred to code enforcement.

11:52 a.m. – Gypsie Marie Esperum, 55, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for second-degree theft, 2133 22nd Ave.

1:37 p.m. – Caller reported a theft from a vehicle, 1200 block of 46th. Report taken.

1:38 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a cell phone worth $45. Report taken.

2:27 p.m. – A motor home that would not start was partially blocking part of the driveway to McDonald’s, the Police Department and Bi-Mart, 2000 block of Main. Les Schwab provided a jump. The vehicle started and was able to move.

4:47 p.m. – Caller reported multiple RVs with people staying in them, 2200 block of Larch. Referred to code enforcement.

4:49 p.m. – Caller reported tall weeds and grass impeding the view of traffic, 24th and Main. Referred to code enforcement.

4:53 p.m. – Caller reported a female walking around with a bottle trying to clean things, 2800 block of Fir. Officer contacted a female who was selling a cleaning product. She was advised to cease and told how to obtain a peddler’s license.

5:33 p.m. – Caller reported a large group of juveniles smoking pot on Weddle Bridge. Officer contacted a large group on the bridge but found no evidence of drug use. A few had left before the officer arrived.

6:01 p.m. – Caller reported an argumentative male selling a cleaning product without a peddler’s license, 1000 block of Long. Officer unable to locate subject.

7:44 p.m. – Caller reported her adult son got angry then broke things in the house before leaving, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken for criminal mischief. Damage approximately $216.

7:58 p.m. – Henry D. Tucker, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

8:57 p.m. – James Michael Slaght, 19, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief in connection to earlier report of criminal mischief, Post Office parking lot. Cited and released.

10:34 p.m. – Caller reported that a customer reported a subject leaving Safeway, 1540 Main St., without paying for goods. Male subject left in an unknown vehicle. Officer responded. Investigation continued to review video.

May 22

3:50 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle in violation of city ordinance, 6000 block of Fourth. Referred to code enforcement.

4 p.m. – Caller reported trash around an abandoned vehicle, 1300 block of 13th. Report taken.

4 :52 p.m. – Caller reported a male following a couple with a baby and trying to pick a fight, 10th and Main. Officer unable to locate.

4:56 p.m. – Caller reported tall weeds and grass, 900 block of Fourth. Referred to code enforcement.

5:06 p.m. – Caller reported tall weeds and grass, 1900 block of 12th. Referred to code enforcement.

7:52 p.m. – Sean Ever Robinson, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and second-degree disorderly conduct, Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, Linn County warrant for first- and second-degree criminal mischief and Albany warrant for failure to comply and charged with first-degree assault and second-degree criminal trespass in connection with an incident that occurred on March 4 on Mountain View Road, 438 10th Ave. Cited and released.

May 21

7:42 a.m. – Caller reported that while an elderly female was staying at a hospital, someone stole prescription pills and her satellite dish, 1100 block of Nandina. Report taken.

8:15 a.m. – Brian Lee See, 33, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

10:16 a.m. – Caller reported a Toyota pickup parked at Fir Lawn Lutheran Church, 100 block of Highway 228. Officer responded. Pickup had been reported stolen in Albany in February. Vehicle towed, and message left for registered owner.

1:16 p.m. – Johnathan Clayton Coverstone, 17, taken into custody for second-degree disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon, and Brandon Cordell Simpson, 15, taken into custody for second-degree disorderly conduct, 15th and Main. Caller had reported two male juveniles fighting in the street.

1:56 p.m. – Caller reported gasoline had been stolen, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken.

May 20

11:35 a.m. – Lucas Neil Riley, 35, arrested on state warrant for parole violation, Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of robbery (owes 13 days in jail) and Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 4200 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:35 a.m. – Laticia Pilar Sanchez, 24, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 4200 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:01 p.m. – Caller reported an RV at location for more than two weeks, 4100 block of 41st. Referred to code enforcement.

12:29 p.m. – Caller reported 25 dogs at location, 1900 block of Grape Loop. Referred to code enforcement.

12:31 p.m. – Caller reported a dangerous building, 1100 block of Redwood. Referred to code enforcement.

12:57 p.m. – Caller reported theft of gasoline from his vehicle, 400 block of Ninth. Report taken. Fuel valued at less than $100.

1:49 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 1400 block of Westwood. Referred to code enforcement.

2:46 p.m. – Caller reported a rooster and chickens running loose, 1100 block of Fourth. Referred to code enforcement.

3:33 p.m. – Caller reported a subject smoking marijuana near Weddle Bridge, Sankey Park. Officer responded. Unable to locate juvenile matching description.

6:05 p.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for two counts of failure to appear on original charges of misdemeanor driving while suspended. Sweet Home officers responded when a Linn County deputy located a wanted subject at a disturbance, with two males physically fighting, at White’s Park, off Pleasant Valley near the bridge.

6:20 p.m. – Caller reported three juveniles riding skateboards at Bi-Mart and vandalizing planters, 1980 Main St. Officer responded. Did not observe any damage to planters. At manager’s request, the juveniles were advised not to ride on the property and left the area.

May 19

3:32 p.m. – Caller reported trash in a driveway, 300 block of W. Pine. Referred to code enforcement.

3:36 p.m. – Caller reported blackberries growing over fence, 400 block of Elm. Referred to code enforcement.

4:46 p.m. – Caller reported continuous yard sale, 900 block of 28th. Referred to code enforcement.

4:51 p.m. – Travis Trent Stach-Sells, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized departure, 1100 block of Nandina. Cited and released.

5:12 p.m. – Caller reported an RV is at location for the second time this year, 1000 block of 13th. Referred to code enforcement.

May 18

7:25 p.m. – Caller reported being stuck in the snow, 64400 block of Big Lake Camp Road. Deputy assisted in freeing the vehicle.

May 16

5:27 a.m. – David Michael Mayes, 23, arrested on a warrant and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct, Lost Lake Campground. Transported to Linn County Jail. The night before a caller had reported a male approaching the caller’s campsite asking for tobacco and then threatening the caller. By morning, the caller said, the male had taken over the caller’s tent and campsite. The caller was currently staying in a camper with other friends and family. The caller said the male was screaming at the caller that he is the archangel Michael and that if they were locusts, he would kill them all.

May 15

3:13 p.m. – Caller reported a stop sign was missing, 41400 block of McDowell Creek. Report taken. County Road Department notified.

May 14

1:35 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of items from stored vehicles, including a $300 carburetor, a $20 air filter and $70 truck battery, 41400 block of McQueen. Report taken.
