May 26

3:05 p.m. – Caller reported a burglary, 27800 block of Liberty Road. Report taken.

May 25

7:38 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle during the night, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Report taken.

9:12 a.m. – Caller reported trash bags stacked against a residence and in a front yard, 900 block of 13th. Referred to code enforcement.

11:02 p.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 28, arrested for contempt of court, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Municipal Court. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:06 a.m. – Caller reported an ongoing issue with vehicles parking too long in a two-hour parking zone, 1100 block of Long. Officer contacted employees of the business and advised them of the complaint.

11:13 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor was in the middle of the roadway requesting assistance with a dog, 1900 block of 18th. Officer responded. The dog was returned to the yard. Officer blocked a hole in the fence and notified the owner of the dog.

11:21 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her shop, 1400 block of Poplar. Unknown if anything was taken. Report taken for criminal mischief.

11:51 a.m. – Caller reported that someone hit his vehicle while it was parked and left a note, 600 block of Ironwood. Information noted. Officer assisted with exchange of information.

11:53 a.m. – Caller reported two batteries taken from vehicles, 1100 block of 4th. Report taken.

1:12 p.m. – Donna Ashley Claxton, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge off third-degree theft, Lane County. Cited and released.

1:32 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen from a backyard, 1100 block of Juniper. Report taken.

1:51 p.m. – Cassandra Renee Hasenyager, 35, cited for following too closely in two-vehicle crash, Main and Ninth. Second driver was Rose Lena Jones, 26. Three subjects transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Vehicles towed.

2:11 p.m. – Caller reported a female chasing a male with a black trash bag, Elm and 12th. Officer unable to locate.

2:16 p.m. – Caller reported four DVDs that she rented from the librar were stolen, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken.

2:42 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle stolen but located prior to make the report, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken.

3:08 p.m. – Caller reported his nephew’s bike stolen a week before Easter, and now it is on sale on Craigslist, 1800 block of Vine. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

4:01 p.m. – Caller reported a bag of clothing taken 45 minutes earlier, 1234 Long St., Cornerstone Fellowship. Information noted.

4:53 p.m. – Caller reported two students had their vehicles entered, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Information noted.

5:54 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 700 block of Alder Street. Report taken.

11:46 p.m. – Caller reported people sleeping in the nursery, 1244 Long St. Officer responded. The people sleeping had permission to be at the location.

May 24

4:51 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barking every morning, and the caller wanted it to stop, 2200 block of Ironwood. Officer responded. Dog was quiet upon arrival. The owner may have put a shock collar on the dog prior to leaving for work. Officer planned to attempt to contact the owner by phone.

10:06 a.m. – Kuuipo Kalei Johnson, 40, cited and released in field for harassment, 759 27th Ave.

10:08 a.m. – Caller found a vehicle key, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Placed in found property.

11:17 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his vehicle during the night and took items, 2200 block of Ironwood. Report taken. Loss valued at $240.

11:35 a.m. – Alex Gabriel Porter, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence and Linn County warrant for probation violation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

2:54 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a line down across the highway, 2000 block of Main. Pacific Power responded.

3:25 p.m. – Caller reported he left his wallet in a bathroom and $300 was missing, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Information noted.

5:18 p.m. – Caller reported persons camping on her property, 1400 block of Nandina. Officer found old sleeping bags but did not locate anyone on the property. Officer planned to continue to check on it.

5:31 p.m. – Caller reported a violation of the Oregon school bus stop law, 2300 block of Main. Letter sent to registered owner.

8:10 p.m. – Evelyn Louise Young, 33, cited for dog at large, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows.

9:53 p.m. – Lucas Christopher Zoon, 24, arrested for driving under the influence, 19th and Main. Cited and released.

May 23

7:04 a.m. – Caller reported a female, who said she was robbed and doesn’t know where she is, in the store, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $258. Female given courtesy transport to the shuttle bus.

8:45 a.m. – Caller reported his wallet stolen, north side of Foster Lake.

9:11 a.m. – Caller reported persons burning household garbage, 2400 block of Harding. Referred to code enforcement.

10:53 a.m. – Caller reported a motor home and tents in a backyard, 700 block of Ninth. Referred to code enforcement.

12:03 p.m. – Steve Wayne Louie, 78, cited for speeding, west city limits.

2:27 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle belonging to the business next door had been parked in the 2-hour parking for more than 2 hours, 1100 block of Long. Officer contacted the registered owner and advised of the complaint.

2:42 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle ran through a blockade and almost hit a city employee, 600 block of 12th. Officer planned to attempt to find the driver for careless driving.

3:56 p.m. – Three-vehicle crash, Main and 10th. No injuries. No citations. One driver warned for following too closely.

4:07 p.m. – Harvey Michael Kapicka, 31, cited for failure to display plates, failure to register vehicle and no insurance, Main and Highway 228.

5:05 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 2400 block of Main. No injuries. No citations. One driver warned for failure to yield right of way before entering a road.

5:20 p.m. – Caller reported a weapon offense, 42900 block of Marks Ridge Drive. Deputy responded. A man was testing out his newly built AR-15 rifle at the MR200 gate. He had steel targets set up and was shooting north. The man was not aware that Cascade Timber Consulting does not want target practice to happen at that gate. He built his own AR-15, and it didn’t have a serial number. It is legal to possess an 80 percent/self-machined AR-15. The man had already used up his ammunition when deputies arrived. He said he would target practice at a different location in the future. No further action.

5:54 p.m. – Cameron Michael Wark, 27, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 799 Long St. Vehicle impounded.

7:49 p.m. – Caller reported that a male set up camp in trees by her residence, 1300 block of 45th. Officer contacted the male, advised him he was trespassing and encouraged him to move along.

9:45 p.m. – Caller reported that someone hit her neighbor’s car with an ax, 3224 Main St. Report taken. Damage estimated at $500.

9:52 p.m. – Jennifer Marlene Robertson, 43, turned in herself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

9:59 p.m. – Caller reported that she found a dog wandering down 29th Avenue. Prior to dispatching, the dog was released to owner.

11:08 p.m. – Phillip Randall Passmore, 50, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of hit and run, 920 Dogwood St.

May 22

9:44 a.m. – Caller reported a girl’s bike had been left for three days, 3600 block of Green River. Placed in found property.

10:25 a.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle had been parked for more than a week, and tags appeared to be altered, 3500 block of Juniper. Vehicle posted for removal.

11:12 a.m. – Caller reported coins stolen within the previous couple of days, 1000 block of 14th. Information noted. Caller wanted subjects to be trespassed and planned to call back when they returned to the property.

11:48 a.m. – Darrell Paul Vasquez, 58, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Caller had requested a welfare check on a female. No one answered the door, and her belongings were on the front porch. The caller took her belongings. Officer responded to the location. The female had not been there since the previous day. Location was unknown.

12:34 p.m. – Caller reported a tenant burning household garbage, 4200 block of Main. Officer contacted two subjects and advised them of city code. The subjects denied the allegations, but there was evidence of household garbage in the fire.

12:44 p.m. – Anthony Allen Ensley, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Benton County. Cited and released.

12:53 p.m. – Caller reported that a student came to him and reported that an adult male came up to the children and was handing out toys, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Information noted. Officer planned to contact the student’s mother and advise her of the situation.

3:04 p.m. – Caller reported tall weeds and grass and a vehicle parked on the street on a blind corner, 1700 block of Ninth.

3:41 p.m. – Caller reported that her dog attacked her other dog, 3200 block of Long. Caller advised of options. She planned to try to re-home the dog.

4:03 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle did not stop for flashing red lights on a bus, 4000 block of Main. Officer checked area for vehicle but was unable to locate.

4:20 p.m. – Caller reported that he lost his wallet, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken for theft. Loss valued at $4.

5:12 p.m. – Kolby Michael Cal-very, 21, cited for driving uninsured, 54th and Main.

7:37 p.m. – Caller found a set of keys at Shea Point. Placed in found property.

7:38 p.m. – Caller reported that her boyfriend took her tax money, 4000 block of Osage. Officer responded. Civil issue between male and female over a tax return. Report taken. Subjects advised of options.

9:46 p.m. – Scott Kevin Heinz, 29, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Fourth and Highway 228.

10:10 p.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall Jr., 34, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart.

10:35 p.m. – Esteban Scott Garcia, 21, cited for driving without a license, 700 block of Elm.
