10:40 a.m. – Caller reported an overflowing of bicycles and miscellaneous items in the front yard, 1200 block of Sunset. Referred to code enforcement.

11:33 a.m. – Jeffrey Ryan Harris, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Cited and released.

12:22 p.m. – Caller reported bushes are growing out of control at a vacant residence, 300 block of West Pine. Referred to code enforcement.

12:56 p.m. – Caller turned in a black bag found on the steps of the Sweet Home Public Library, 1101 13th Ave. Placed in found property.

May 3

9:24 a.m. – Theodore Wayne Hiner Jr., 38, cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, driving uninsured and failure to carry proof of insurance, Pleasant Valley and Main.

10:58 a.m. – Jay Lamar Humphries, 51, arrested on Corvallis warrant for failure to appear on original charge of illegal camping and Albany warrant for failure to appear on contempt of court, 1300 block of 13th. Cited and released.

3:45 p.m. – Caller reported his bicycle stolen, 800 block of Main. Report taken.

7:05 p.m. – Caller reported that a male left without paying for $20 in fuel, 1801 Main St., Main Street Market.

May 2

12:06 a.m. – Caller reported that someone just tried to get into his residence, ran between houses and into the creek, 1100 block of Juniper. Report taken.

5:30 a.m. – Jason Milton Dalebout, 40, arrested for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, 1781 Grape Court. Cited and released.

6:43 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle stolen, 1700 block of Long. Report taken.

4:19 p.m. – David Daniel Raymond, 42, cited and released in field for initiating a false report, 1283 44th Ave.

4:34 p.m. – Caller reported two people were in her apartment during the night while she was gone, 1890 Kalmia St., Trail’s End. Report taken.

5:41 p.m. – James Robert Warrington, 36, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

11:01 p.m. – Caller reported finding a large knife in a shopping cart, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Knife seized and placed in found property.

11:07 p.m. – Doneeka Kiwanis Colburn, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

May 1

12:29 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barking all day and night, 1300 block of Nandina. Officer contacted the registered owner of the dog and warned him for dog as a public nuisance. Owner taking steps to prevent it from happening again.

5:21 a.m. – Nicholas Gene Pitts, 25, cited for failure to obey traffic control device, Main and First.

10:21 a.m. – Caller reported at least a dozen abandoned vehicles, 700 block of Ninth. Referred to code enforcement.

10:41 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 1000 block of Cedar. Referred to code enforcement.

10:54 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor built a barb-wire fence, 4000 block of Clark Mill. Referred to code enforcement.

11:07 a.m. – Caller reported his wallet stolen from his house while he was out for a walk, 1200 block of Laurel. Report taken.

7:22 p.m. – Christopher Allen Hutson, 28, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, and Jennifer Ojeda Garcia, 26, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Main and 15th. Both cited and released.

11:19 p.m. – Caller reported finding property, 1200 block of Nandina. Property placed in found property.

11:34 p.m. Rebecca Charlene Fox, 18, cited for minor in possession of alcohol, 1038 Nandina St. Cited and released.

April 30

1:18 a.m. – Barney Lewis McAlister, 42, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of manufacturing marijuana, 1237 Nandina St. Cited and released.

8:10 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her laundry room, 1300 block of Sunset.

10:14 a.m. – James David Stedman III, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 1595 13th Ave. Cited and released.

10:35 p.m. – Matthew Charles Nill, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft, two counts, Les Schwab Tire Center, 18th and Main. Cited and released.

11:37 a.m. – Hailee Jo Smith-Daggett, 22, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and probation violation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 12th and Poplar. Cited and released.

1:15 p.m. – Improper signage reported, Highway 228 and Main. Removed by code enforcement.

2:17 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog was attacked and killed by another dog, 800 block of Alder. Officer responded. Unable to capture dog. Owner’s information would be passed on to victim’s owner.

3:20 p.m. – Caller reported shrubbery growing into sidewalk, causing him and his wife to walk in the street, 500 block of 10th. Referred to code enforcement.

April 29

9:21 a.m. – Caller reported a basketball hoop in the street and causing a hazard, 10th and Pine Top. Referred to code enforcement.

10:35 a.m. – Robert Kevin Gardner, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Santiam Terrace. Cited and released.

12:45 p.m. – Male juvenile, 16, referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of tobacco and providing false information to police, Sankey Park. Caller in the park had reported smelling marijuana. Officer did not smell any marijuana.

2:59 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1000 block of 13th. Report taken.

8:07 p.m. – Caller reported a male just threw his trash on the ground in front of her driveway, 1700 block of 12th. Report taken.

9:51 p.m. – Caller reported several subjects at Skate Park, which was supposed to be closed, 1990 Long St. Officer contacted three subjects and advised them of park hours. They left.

10:36 p.m. – Kevin Jordan, 39, cited for offensive littering, 1014 Nandina St., in connection to the earlier report of littering.

April 28

5:11 a.m. – Jacob William Jones, 23, arrested for first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree theft, 940 14th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a car prowler in the area.

7:14 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a tricycle, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Manufactured Home Community. Report taken. Loss valued at $5.

9:02 a.m. – Sheree Lynn Daniels, 63, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 2450 Main St. Caller reported a female stealing quarters.

1:40 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s dogs running loose most of the time, 1400 block of Westwood. Referred to code enforcement.

1:41 p.m. – Caller reported a lot with tall grass, 4800 block of 48th. Referred to code enforcement.

3:13 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s chickens and rabbits running loose, and the rabbit is eating his flowers, 1200 block of 43rd. Referred to code enforcement.

6:08 p.m. – Caller reported a burglary, 1800 block of Kalmia. Report taken.

April 27

9:39 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of Verizon wifi, using up all minutes, 800 block of Third. Report taken for second-degree theft and theft of services.

11:05 a.m. – Caller reported that she believes someone is poisoning animals in the area, 1200 block of 43rd. Officer spoke with caller by phone and advised her of options. Department of Environmental Quality advised.

11:27 a.m. – Caller reported a male subject lying on the sidewalk, 1200 block of 55th. Male ran when officer came into the area.

11:59 a.m. – Lamar Lavonne Wilson, 25, served on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Linn County Jail.

12:07 p.m. – Kevin Wayne Johnston, 23, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court, probation violation and failure to appear on a criminal citation and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of fourth-degree assault, first-degree criminal trespass and two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, 1500 block of Main. Callers had reported a male in the area making rude sexual comments to students.

12:37 p.m. – Caller reported a door pried open, 4546 Main St., Ridgeway Logging. Report taken.

1:39 p.m. – Caller reported blackberries and locust growing through a fence onto her property, 1100 block of 24th. Referred to code enforcement.

5:05 p.m. – Abagail Rose Pasa-monte, 22, arrested for harassment, 1237 Nandina St. Caller had reported a female hit him in the mouth.

5:12 p.m. – Richard Anthony Bender, 39, arrested for second-degree burglary and second-degree theft, 28637 Hwy. 228. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:52 p.m. – James Robert Warrington, 36, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass.

7:51 pm. – Caller reported that someone broke into his house and stole property, 3200 block of Main. Report taken.

8:55 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 27, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1111 Nandina St. Cited, held for detox and released.

11:31 p.m. – Caller reported three or four people at the Skate Park, 1990 Long St. Officer contacted subjects, and they moved on.

April 26

8:01 a.m. – Jay Lamar Humphries, 51, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and less than an ounce of marijuana, 1200 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:50 p.m. – Devin Wayne Remington, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to report as a sex offender, Josephine County.

12:12 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke through a window and took her computer and other items, 5100 block of Redwood. Report taken.

5:56 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole his horns, 1200 block of 46th. Report taken.

7:23 p.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 19, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

9:01 p.m. – Caller reported that someone cut the lock off her gate, 1300 block of 13th. Report taken.

9:14 p.m. – Daniel Joseph Browand, 21, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of trespassing; Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft; Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft; and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree burglary, Long Street. Caller had reported a male with warrants walking down Long Street.

April 25

8:22 p.m. – Caller reported finding a bicycle, 6000 block of Main. Bike placed in found property.

11:06 p.m. – John Allen Bohannon, 50, arrested for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, fourth-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief, assaulting a public safety officer and resisting arrest, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male who started pounding on the caller’s car window, opening the door and trying to pull her out of the car. The caller said she was able to pull back from him, and the subject went to the next vehicle, which was unoccupied, and pounded on the windows before leaving and walking west on Main Street.
