1:44 a.m. – Caller reported that her boyfriend hit her on the head with a stick, 1100 block of Poplar. Officers responded and contacted both parties. The male denied physically hitting the caller and requested a police officer hold welfare check on the caller. Officer spoke with the caller. Caller was not a candidate for a police officer hold for mental evaluation. Officer gave the caller a courtesy ride to another location.
10:49 a.m. – Caller reported that a male confronted him, picked him up and tried to slam him down, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken.
12:13 p.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a male who was walking on the railroad tracks between 9th and 12th avenues. He had fallen down and seemed unstable. Officer contacted a male who was looking for cans. Officer advised him to stay off the tracks.
12:20 p.m. – Sunny Sky Stone, 46, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 900 block of Poplar.
1:46 p.m. – Caller found a scale in the bathroom, 1203 Long St., All-Star Pizza. Property seized.
2:07 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered an unlocked vehicle at the boat ramp and stole a cell phone and wallet, Sunnyside Park. Investigation continuing.
6:01 p.m. – Caller reported her boyfriend punched her in the arm and left a bruise in Corvallis. Report taken to be forwarded to Corvallis Police Department.
7:05 p.m. – Caller reported an adult threatened to shoot her and her friends with a BB gun, 1400 block of 12th. Officer contacted all parties. The adult denied the allegations. All were counseled.
8:13 p.m. – Bryan Wheeler, 27, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Long and 29th. Vehicle impounded.
10:38 p.m. – Caller reported a female was outside for 20 minutes yelling about animal feces and threatening to smear it on the caller’s children’s car seats, 2400 block of Long. Officer contacted the caller, who was concerned that the neighbor was harassing her. Officer was unable to contact the other party. Area was quiet upon officer arrival.
11:11 p.m. – Caller reported that an intoxicated female was refusing to leave after being asked to leave, 2700 block of Juniper. Officer contacted both parties. The female chose to sleep in her vehicle in the caller’s driveway, which was fine with the caller.
May 4
3:53 a.m. – Shilo Wayne Dunston, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol, Lebanon.
12:04 p.m. – Caller reported a female sleeping on the sidewalk, 1700 block of Main. Officer contacted the female. She moved on but needed to make several trips to carry all of her property.
2:25 p.m. – Caller reported a dog at large, 29th and Long. Officer unable to locate.
3:47 p.m. – Amanda Rae Stafford, 43, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.
3:54 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been abandoned for several months, 1300 block of Poplar. Officer contacted the owner’s brother. The owner was out of state but will move the vehicle when he returns.
5 p.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 29, arrested by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on two original charges of third-degree theft and original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass.
7:37 p.m. – Ryan Sechrest, 32, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, illegal display of plates and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, 10th and Elm. Plates seized from vehicle.
8:03 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose in the area and the dog attempted to attack a child and a dog, 18th and Willow. Officer responded. Dog placed in kennel and then returned to owner.
8:52 p.m. – John Mark Taylor, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Lane County.
May 3
4:01 a.m. – James Leroy Salvador, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon.
9:32 a.m. – Frederick Wilkins Cadger, 51, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
10:03 a.m. – Caller reported he was assaulted by a male who lives in a travel trailer parked on the property, 27900 block of Riggs Hill. The caller reported that the male fled into his house after he was assaulted, and the male kicked in the front door. The caller fled out the back door and called the Sheriff’s Office. Deputy was unable to locate the suspect and had not yet identified him.
11:09 a.m. – Davy Anthony Phillips, 46, arrested for first-degree theft, 1908 Willow St. Cited and released.
1:33 p.m. – Two juveniles referred to Linn County Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park.
3:08 p.m. – Caller found a syringe full of liquid, 2200 block of Long. Officer disposed of the syringe.
5:21 p.m. – Caller reported a male going door to door asking people to buy his cleaning products, 1200 block of Evergreen. Officer contacted the male and advised him of the permit requirement to sell door to door. The male left the area on foot.
6:47 p.m. – Caller found a needle, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer disposed of the needle.
8:35 p.m. – Caller reported that an intoxicated male assaulted her and her son, 4824 Main St., Hilltop Market. Report taken. Suspect gone upon officer arrival.
9:32 p.m. – Jesse Michael Langdon, 37, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 12th and Long. Cited and released.
May 2
8:14 a.m. – Robert John Culver, 42, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
10:10 a.m. – Caller reported that someone dumped several tires and two weed eaters on her property, 600 block of Oak Terrace. Information noted. Public Works advised.
11:07 a.m. – James Eugene Mobley, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree escape, possession of meth and possession of heroin and new charge of misdemeanor possession of meth, Pleasant Valley Bridge. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had requested a welfare check on a male who was sitting on the side of the bridge.
1:26 p.m. – Caller repoted that someone was cutting limbs from his tree, which hangs over a neighboring property, 25700 block of Old Holley. Caller was advised that as long as the person is cutting what is on the person’s property, the person is allowed to trim limbs from the person’s side of the fence.
1:53 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle had been hit in the Safeway parking lot, 1540 Main St. Officer responded and assisted with exchange of information. Damage less than $2,500.
2:33 p.m. – Jerry Dare Holden, 70, cited for speeding in a school zone, 44 mph in a 20-mph zone, 2500 block of Main.
3:11 p.m. – Caller reported a couple of dogs locked inside a hot vehicle at Bi-Mart, 1980 Main St. The owner was coming out of the store upon officer arrival. The officer advised him of the complaint. The animals were not in any distress.
3:58 p.m. – Ian Thomas Buczko, 32, cited for driving while suspended, Midway Market.
4:33 p.m. – Caller reported a male stole a couple of items and left on a bicycle, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Caller requested the male be trespassed.
4:57 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle just went into a ditch, Highway 228 and Evergreen. The occupants got out and walked away. Vehicle impounded.
5:32 p.m. – Caller found a laptop in the bathroom at Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Placed in found property.
8:24 p.m. – Traci Lee Gates, 54, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft.

1:02 a.m. – Caller found a license plate, MMX 741, along the river at Wiley Creek Park. Placed in found property.

10:01 a.m. – Caller reported finding a shoe print on her car, 2400 block of Long. Information noted.
12:14 p.m. – Caller reported a dog at large, 1200 block of Tamarack. Dog placed in kennel.
1:37 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle high-centered on a fire hydrant, 800 block of 14th. Report taken.
1:59 p.m. – Officer located a crash at 13th and Main. No injuries. Officer assisted with exchange of information. Damage less than $2,500.
2:01 p.m. – Zachary Guy Richmond, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Linn County Parole and Probation.
2:36 p.m. – Quentin Wyatt Quadros, 21, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for second-degree criminal mischief and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and failure to appear on a criminal citation, 1040 Long St. Caller had reported people lined up at the window of a brown Dodge Durango parked at the location. Officer contacted vehicle occupants. The occupants said the people were friends who came up to talk to them.
2:49 p.m. – Jerimiah Luke Robels, 21, arrested on Marion County warrant for possession of meth and failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 2450 Main St., Coffee Hut. Transported to Linn County Jail.
2:57 p.m. – Caller reported locating a student with marijuana and a vape pen, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. School and parents will handle the matter. Items seized for disposal.
3:54 p.m. – Caller reported a small dog left in a hot car, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer checked area. Unable to locate.
6:27 p.m. – Christopher Kirt Edward Kaufman, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Albany.
6:30 p.m. – Megan Breann Brambora, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Portland.
6:53 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject crawling on his hands and knees, 1530 Main St., old Santiam Drug. Medics transported the male to the hospital.
7:35 p.m. – Caller reported that a German shepherd came into the caller’s yard, 1100 block of 2nd. Dog placed in kennel.
8:21 p.m. – Caller reported tires and rims stolen, 2200 block of Main. Tires were located about 50 feet away. Owner only wanted information noted.
8:29 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog had been barking since 7 a.m. and that was unusual, 100 block of 10th. Caller was unable to locate the neighbor. Officer responded and left a business card for the resident.
11:11 p.m. – Jeffrey Wodtli, 56, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), 221 18th Ave. Cited and released.

12:34 p.m. – Darrell George Berigan, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.
2:05 p.m. – Caller found a wallet, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Placed in found property.
2:31 p.m. – Caller found a small purse, 2200 block of Larch. Placed in found property.
2:58 p.m. – Macayla Marie Jimenez, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on two original charges of third-degree theft and one original charge of theft by receiving, Linn County.
3:05 p.m. – Caller reported a truck hit a line, which was left hanging about 6 feet above the roadway, 1200 block of 47th. Officer responded. CenturyLink advised, and Public Works responded to the scene.
5:43 p.m. – Caller found a cell phone, 400 block of Main. Placed in found property.
7:49 p.m. – Theodore Shinall, 41, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court and cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle.
8:25 p.m. – Ryan Hutchinson, 31, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 3900 block of Main.
11:37 a.m. – Timothy Ames Jr., 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original chages of third-degree theft, second-degree criminal trespass and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, 1707 Main St., Les Schwab Tire Center. Officer had located a male taking an aluminum wheel from location. Wheel returned.
