Nov. 8

5:42 a.m. – Hunter Ringheimer, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

6:35 a.m. – Joshua Wayne Welch, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of giving false information to a police officer, Lebanon.

4:47 p.m. – Caller reported a possible violation of a release agreement, 41500 block of Upper Calapooia.

Nov. 7

1:09 a.m. – Thomas Robert Cox, 20, cited for minor in possession of marijuana by consumption while driving, Mountain View and Ames Creek.

9:08 a.m. – Caller reported having issues with her bank, 5400 block of Poplar. Caller had been scammed out of money. Report taken.

11:10 a.m. – Caller reported a male against whom he had a restraining order was outside yelling threats, 1800 block of Tamarack. Male gone upon officer arrival. Report taken.

11:19 a.m. – Caller reported identity theft, 1300 block of Sunset. Report taken.

11:56 a.m. – Officer located a vehicle reported stolen out of Lebanon, 10th near Pinetop. Lebanon Police Department responded and took over the investigation.

12:13 p.m. – Caller reported a pontoon boat parked on the street for three days, 300 block of Taylor Creek Drive. Officer advised owner of the complaint.

5:02 p.m. – Caller reported a male walked out of the woods screaming that someone took his dog, Clark Mill near the old mill. The male appeared intoxicated and was carrying a stick. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate.

6 p.m. – Rochelle Denis Burrow, 52, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, 1100 block of 24th. Cited and released.

Nov. 6

12:06 a.m. – Caller reported her husband was in a fist fight with another male, 4100 block of Main. Officer contacted and counseled all parties involved. One male trespassed from location.

7:50 a.m. – Shawn Sherrill, 50, cited for failure to renew registration and driving uninsured, Mountain View and Juniper.

9:52 a.m. – Joey Dawayne Persinger, 26, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

10:31 a.m. – Jacob Mitchell Thurber, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

1:06 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog attacked the caller’s dog, 5300 block of Osage. Information noted at caller’s request. The dog and owners had left the location.

2:07 p.m. – Caller reported a male outside of the store yelling and making weird comments to customers and employees, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer advised the male to move along.

2:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a male’s adult son had taken $51,000 out of his account, 1100 block of 24th. Information noted. The male victim does not live in Sweet Home.

3:50 p.m. – Caller reported someone had been taking money from his deceased mother’s account, 2000 block of 54th. Report taken.

3:53 p.m. – Officer located a stolen vehicle, 12th and Nandina. Investigation continuing.

4:20 p.m. – Elisha Marie Adams, 38, arrested for second-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

4:21 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in the parking lot for two days and people seemed to be living in it, Fair Share Gleaners, 1000 block of Long. Officer responded. Owner was not around. Officer planned to check back.

7:11 p.m. – Cody Isaiah Milligan, 23, arrested for harassment, 4200 block of Main. Cited and released.

7:23 p.m. – Jenny Ann Martin, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Deschutes County.

9:20 p.m. – Jacob Joseph Hughes, 21, arrested on Linn County warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm, Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of failure to carry and present a license and Albany warrant for contempt of court, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

11:36 p.m. – Carrie Rose Lee, 34, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven. Cited and released.

Nov. 5

7:53 p.m. Caller found a loose dog, East Linn Museum. Dog placed in kennel.

8:03 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor was a possible victim of domestic violence, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken for fourth-degree assault and strangulation.

11:41 a.m. – Caller reported a small dog was constantly tied up outside in all weather, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer contacted the owner. All dogs had food, water and shelter and were brought in every night. A male dog was separated due to female dogs being in heat.

12:23 p.m. – Jeffrey Allan Gruwell, 53, arrested for second-degree criminal mistreatment, 28100 block of Riggs Hill.

2:45 p.m. – Caller reported that she believes her wallet was taken from her vehicle, Long near 13th. Report taken.

2:55 p.m. – Carson Albert Strasser, 29, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

3:03 p.m. – Caller reported finding a baggie with a drug-like substance inside it, 4100 block of Osage. Property seized for destruction.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her house key, 3100 block of Main. Officer located the key on the ground near her residence.

8:24 p.m. – Caller reported his phone stolen, 1000 block of 13th. Report taken.

9:06 p.m. – Brandon Wayne Baird, 35, arrested for fourth-degree assault and strangulation, 800 block of 3rd. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:40 p.m. – Caller reported a a hit and run, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Report taken.

Nov. 4

8:20 a.m. – Obediah Teixeira, 40, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

9:32 a.m. – A 14-year-old female referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Facility.

9:41 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked for the previous week, 1000 block of Main. Officer left message with the owner.

11:13 a.m. – David Oviatt, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, third-degree escape and probation violation, 18th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:20 a.m. – Andrew Benton Erickson, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon.

11:38 a.m. – Caller reported someone entered a vehicle and took a coyote call and hydraulic bi-pod, 26000 block of 1st, Crawfordsville. Report taken.

11:57 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs running loose in the area, 10th and Cedar. Officer located the dogs at a Cedar Street residence. Officer put them in the backyard and secured the fence.

12:37 p.m. – A 13-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High.

12:59 p.m. – Caller reported four vehicles parked on the street for a long period and it appears they are being used for storage, 1800 block of Kalmia. Officer contacted a nearby homeowner, who said she would have two moved by the end of the week. The other two were driven daily.

2:05 p.m. – Caller reported a loose great Dane, 4th and Elm. Officer unable to locate.

2:21 p.m. – Officer located a loose dog, 1000 block of Elm. Officer returned the dog to the owner. The owner said the dog has gotten out before and the owner would fix the problem.

3:52 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs loose in her yard, 3500 block of Juniper. One dog returned to owner. Officer unable to locate the second dog.

4:18 p.m. – James Leroy Salvador, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, near 12th and Long. Cited and released.

4:51 p.m. – Lawrence Lee Jones, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Albany.

5:07 p.m. – An 80-year-old caller reported giving personal information to a scam caller, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Information noted. Caller advised to contact her bank and Social Security office.

5:59 p.m. – Robert Michael Butterfield, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem.

7:44 p.m. – Travis Earl Pressey, 41, arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, a state warrant for parole violation, Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass and Linn County warrant for possession of methamphetamine, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:03 p.m. – William Lee McDaniel, 53, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation, 1530 Main St. Cited and released.

9:59 p.m. – Caller found a syringe in the bottle return room, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer disposed of the syringe.

10:03 p.m. – Caller reported two males were taking pumpkins from porches and throwing them on the road, 1000 block of 12th. Officer unable to locate anyone matching the description but did locate a pumpkin in the road. Unknown whom it belongs to.

11:20 p.m. – Caller reported his landlord threw a dish at him and his wife, 800 block of 14th. Report taken and forwarded to city attorney for review.
