Nov. 6

3:32 a.m. – Caller reported a male looking into vehicles at O&M Tires, 4420 Main. Officer responded, checked area, everything appears secured.

10:07 a.m. – Caller reported friend’s roommate is throwing her items outside into mud puddles, 1000 block of Main. Officer responded, contacted both parties, encouraged them to stay separated.

10:12 a.m. – Corvallis Police located Jason Edward McCauley, 40, arrested on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal trespass.

10:59 a.m. – Caller 1 reported a tenant contacted her stating her ex-roommate took her purse and phone, 1000 block of Main. Caller 2 reported an elderly female was pinning down her ex-roommate and smothering her face with plastic. Officer responded, ex-roommate did not want to pursue charges. No evidence purse and phone were stolen.

12:48 p.m. – Caller reported the property manager is outside banging on his door, his lawyer advised him not to speak with her because of her past threats, 3200 block of Main. Officer responded, contacted property manager who is attempting to issue an eviction notice, she is aware of her options and will use proper channels. Caller advised.

6:14 p.m. – Caller reported husband’s vehicle was hit by a Dodge Charger that left the scene, Highway 20 near Hilltop Market. Vehicle in oncoming lane at 49th caused caller to spin and lose control, no crime, no contact, no hit and run.

6:34 p.m. – Caller reported a gray Dodge Charger almost hit three people and a building on Main near O’Reilly’s. Officer contacted male who said he swerved to avoid a dog.

7:18 p.m. – Caller reported theft of red Honda generator from 27300 block Moose Creek Lane/Highway 20, Cascadia. Value $1,800. Report taken.

Nov. 7

12:50 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office cited Joshua Wayne Welch, 31, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of false information.

1:47 a.m. – Caller from Eugene said his elderly customer had called him to say she turned back to Sweet Home for gas but got lost, hit something, and was lying in briars. All info relayed to Linn County Sheriff’s Office and Oregon State Police. Sweet Home officers checked along Highways 228 and 20. At 2:34 a.m. her phone pinged near Bi-Mart, 1980 Main. Officer located the vehicle which had driven into some briars behind the location, the operator was laying in the briars next to the vehicle. She was transported to Linn County Hospital, vehicle towed. Report taken.

3:20 a.m. – Caller reported her son was just at her residence and is staying in a tent within 150 feet of her residence, 400 block of Holley, officer contacted caller. Subjects partner was just at caller’s residence and has not been served the restraining order. Contacted son who is not within the 150 feet, Linn County notified of location to serve the subject.

9:32 a.m. – Caller reported vacant house was broken into and items were stolen, 1100 block of 29th. Officer responded, report taken for burglary and theft, approximate loss valued at $100, backpacks seized from location.

1:21 p.m. – Caller requested male be served restraining order, 400 block of Holley. Officer responded, male served, gathered belongings and has left the area.

2:16 p.m. – Caller reported male looking into vehicle at Sweet Things Boutique, 1045 Main, came into store earlier and was looking around the back room, requested he be trespassed. Officer responded and contacted male, trespassed him from location, caller advised.

2:27 p.m. – Caller requested male and female be trespassed from his residence, 53000 block of Osage. Officer responded, contacted all parties, male and female trespassed.

2:45 p.m. – Lebanon Police cited Amanda Rae Stafford, 44, on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.

3:37 p.m. – Caller reported female violated release agreement, 1800 block of Ames Creek. Officer responded, report taken, sent to district attorney for review.

4:04 p.m. – Caller reported male choked her earlier today, 800 block of 18th. Officer responded, report taken.

4:47 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a dog that sounds as though it’s in pain, 1800 block of Long. Officer responded, dog was a husky unhappy to be outside, no injuries, contacted caregiver who brought dog inside.

6:11 p.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on his wife who made suicidal statements over the phone, 5500 block of Nandina. Officer responded, female in question left prior to arrival, contacted friend via phone who said she would have the subject call back.

8:54 p.m. – Albany Police served two warrants to Brian Lee Lindsay, 32, for failure to appear on an original charge of theft and failure to comply on an original charge of theft.

Nov. 8

1:17 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle came around the corner hitting the curb and nearly the caller, 15th and Nandina. A passenger got out and tried to fight the caller, then left westbound on Nandina. Officer responded, checked area, unable to locate, info noted.

2:24 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported overdose at location, Church of Nazarene, 415 Holley. Officer responded, assisted.

2:35 p.m. – Multiple callers reported teenagers saying inappropriate things to a group of kids, 1500 block of Tamarack. Officer responded, contacted juveniles and counseled for use of mean words, advised to stay separated, ongoing neighborhood dispute.

4:32 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported trees on fire, Pleasant Valley between Main and railroad tracks. Officer responded, fire extinguished. Nicolas Schott Warren, 40, cited and released for reckless burning.

4:40 p.m. – ODOT reported a driver located a female who has crashed her bike and is refusing a medic, 43rd and Main,. Officer responded, female evaluated by medic.

4:45 p.m. – Caller reported deceased deer in roadway, partially blocking lane, 46th and Main. Officer responded, citizen had pulled deer off roadway, public works advised.

6:59 p.m. – Caller reported her daughter’s bicycle was stolen last week, 2400 block of Long. Officer responded, info noted, caller will handle the matter civilly.

7:07 p.m. – Caller reported seeing two individuals on surveillance cameras behind Sweet Home Gleaners, 3031 Main. Officer responded, caller doesn’t wish to pursue charges. Caller gave individuals blankets and clothing to keep warm for the night, also provided proper resources to obtain help.

10:53 p.m. – Melissa Ann Dewar, 47, turned herself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft, 1950 Main, SHPD.

Nov. 9

9:18 a.m. – Officer located vehicle parked on street for extended time facing the wrong direction, 24th and Long. Vehicle bearing plate ZTT046 posted for removal on Friday, Nov. 13th.

10:18 a.m. – Caller reported rabbit stolen, 24900 block Brush Creek Road. Rabbit was located. It was not stolen.

10:34 a.m. – Caller requested to speak with an officer regarding tenants not moving out despite eviction notice. Officer responded, advised of options.

11:41 a.m. – Rebecca Ann Long, 40, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of disorderly conduct, 2400 block of Main.

12:16 p.m. – Caller reported female violated release agreement, also stated two males came to house looking for female, caller is concerned for his child’s safety. Officer responded, report taken.

1:55 p.m. – Caller reported brother is out of control, 3100 block of Long. Officer responded, civil dispute, minor physical disturbance, both will try to stay separated.

2:06 p.m. – Caller reported subjects have been sleeping in their vehicle in the parking lot, she just confronted them about it, 2400 block of Long. Some left in the vehicle when confronted but a male stayed behind and is yelling at the caller. Officer responded, advised her she needs to speak with her tenants regarding the parking issue. Anthony Ensley, 38, cited and released on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of meth possession and a Sweet Home warrant for giving false info to a police officer.

4:23 p.m. – Deston McQuistion, 22, cited for driving while suspended, 12th and Grape.

4:24 p.m.- Caller reported female driver almost caused several accidents, headed north on 13th. Officer responded, located vehicle at residence, operator claims they were trying to avoid a motor vehicle crash, somewhat of a road rage incident, counseled on driving behavior.

4:34 p.m. – Late entry from Oct. 28 – Curry County Sheriff’s Office cited James Paul Chapin 32, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of resisting arrest.

4:44 p.m. – Lebanon Police located Timothy James Shehan, 26, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

8:02 p.m. – Caller reported trespass in 40400 block Upper Calapooia Drive. Michael Perry, 32, of Sweet Home, arrested on probation violation warrant.

8:12 p.m. – Oregon State Police told dispatch an off-duty police officer had a vehicle pulled over that was following him closely and flashing their lights at him, 9th off Main. Officer responded, checked area, unable to locate. Dispatch made contact with original caller who had already cleared from the stop, would like to cite driver. Info passed back to OSP as violations occurred in their jurisdiction.

8:47 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office cited Janene Lynn Gust, 60, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of disorderly conduct.

10:20 p.m. – Caller reported her 13-year-old son was being defiant, 1000 block of 13th. Officer responded, juvenile counseled.

11:40 p.m. – Caller reported her 13-year-old son ran away, 1000 block of 13th. Officer responded, juvenile left to a family member’s house and has returned home.

Nov. 10

4:26 a.m. – William Clauson, 57, of Lebanon, arrested on probation violation warrant, 6300 block Highway 20. Report taken.

6:52 p.m. – Caller reported his roommate’s vehicle was entered and items taken, 1100 block of 18th. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and theft. Approximate loss valued at $172, unknown if vehicle was secured or not.

7:59 a.m. – Richard Belanger, 57, cited for failure to obey traffic control device, 1500 block of Main.

9:50 a.m. – Caller reported fence damaged over weekend, 1300 block of Long. Officer responded, report taken, approximate damage $50.

12:48 p.m. – Caller reported transients stealing shopping carts, 621 Main, Thriftway. Officer responded, report taken, carts returned.

3:34 p.m. – Caller reported a man stole a bottle of Alka Seltzer, 621 Main, Thriftway. Officer responded, Donald Watkins, 56, cited and released for theft, driving while suspended and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of negotiating with a bad check.

4:50 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office located Rondell Allen Adams, 29, on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving while suspended or revoked and failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving while suspended or revoked.

11:11 p.m. – Lebanon Police located Austin Alton Wayne Jones, 24, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal mischief.

Nov. 11

1:53 a.m. – While on patrol in Northside Park, officer located Tony Ray Roebuck, 26, on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft. Cited and released.

7:39 a.m. – Junction City police located Billy Don Passmore, 36, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of Driving under the influence of intoxicants.

8:30 a.m. – Caller reported stolen side by side, 42300 block Marks Ridge Drive. With the assistance of neighbors and information gathered in previous few days, deputies were able to recover the vehicle in the area. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

11:03 a.m. – Caller reported daughter’s boyfriend headbutted her this morning, 1500 block of Tamarack. Officer responded, non-mandatory arrest, none want to pursue charges, all parties separated.

11:49 a.m. – Caller reported being rear ended at the intersection of 15th and Main. Officer responded, report taken, damage under $2,500.

1:50 p.m. – Caller reported female walked out of location with multiple items in her hands, 1045 Main, Sweet Things Boutique. Officer responded, report taken for theft. Investigation ongoing.

4:11 p.m. – Caller reported the suspect from above entry is in front of the library, 1101 13th. Aleece Rochelle Woods, 34, arrested for theft and on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft. Cited and released in the field.

6:29 p.m. – Lebanon police served Jay Boyd Marsh, 56, on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of theft and criminal trespass.

Nov. 12

2:48 a.m. – Caller reported pregnant girlftiend is trying to go get heroin and he is chasing her down the street, 12th and Poplar. Officer responded, parties separated. Carrie Rose Lee, 35, cited and released on a Marion County warrant for possession of heroin.

9:50 a.m. – Caller reported a campfire at Sankey Park. Officer responded, contacted and warned male of city ordinance violation, fire extinguished.

9:57 a.m. – Albany Police located Malcolm Hinton Hicks, 34, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal trespassing.

10:07 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office located Elizabeth Lynn Riddle, 22, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving.

8:13 a.m. – Caller reported break-in at church, 1000 block Pleasant Valley Road. Damage to building but nothing appeared to be missing. Report taken.

11:42 a.m. – Albany Police located Isaac Phillip Waugh, 25, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of interfering with a peace officer.

12:57 p.m. – Caller reported non-injury crash at Elm and Mountain View. Officer responded, report taken, damage over $2,500, crash report provided.

4:51 p.m. – Multiple callers report a male jumped on female’s car and she drove off with him on the hood, 18th and Kalmia. Officer responded, report taken for reckless endangering, victim doesn’t want to pursue criminal charges.

Nov. 13

6:48 a.m. – Caller reported waking up to find patio door shattered, appeared to have been done on purpose, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer responded, report taken, approximate value of damages $300.

8:08 a.m. – Caller reported two vehicles were broken into last night, items taken, 1400 block of 22nd. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and theft, approximate loss of value $85.

11:20 a.m. – Vehicle bearing license plate ZYY046 towed for city ordinance violation, 24th and Long.

3:37 p.m. – Caller reported a purse stolen from her shopping cart, Safeway, 1980. Officer contacted caller, who found the purse in her vehicle.

4:02 p.m. – Hunter Dillen Johnson, 23, cited for driving while suspended, Mountain View and Long.

5:21 p.m. – Albany Police served Spencer Dean Borthwick, 26, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of initiating a false report.

8:20 p.m. – Young child reported father is beating up mother, 1200 block of Fern. Officer responded, Jacob Charles Riggs, 28, arrested for domestic violence- assault. Lodged in Linn County Jail.

Nov. 14

12:28 a.m. – Mark Aaron Lamb, 43, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 35th and Long. Also arrested on an Albany warrant for contempt of court and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charges of reckless driving.

1:15 a.m. – Junction City Police cited Kenneth Daniel Helfrich, 39, cited for failure to appear on original charges of criminal trespass and two counts of criminal mischief.

9:17 a.m. – Stefani Michelle Brock, 30, cited for failure to carry current proof of insurance and illegal display of plates, 300 block of Holley.

9:46 a.m. – Caller reported vehicles were broken into, 900 block of 15th. Officer responded, report taken for five counts of unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, attempted unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, theft, criminal mischief and attempted theft.

1:24 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor kids are picking up landscaping rocks and throwing them into her yard, 4300 block of Citabria. Officer responded, juveniles counselled at caller request.

2:22 p.m. – Laura Joanne Bybee cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended, 900 block of Long.

8:43 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor is intoxicated and pounding on their door, 4300 block of Citabria. Threatened caller and his children over the rock throwing incident earlier. Officer contacted all parties, trespassed from each others’ residences.

10:22 p.m. – Caller reported two subjects stole five packages of meat, one of them left phone behind, 1540 Main, Safeway. Report taken for theft and criminal mischief, items valued at $50, door was damaged, value over $500.

12:20 p.m. – Deputy checked on report of car in snow near MP36 on Quartzville Road. Found family of five that had become stranded with motor home, car and truck. Deputy contacted group of off-roaders, who were recreating in the snow nearby; they volunteered to pull the family out. Group effort resulted in vehicles being moved to snow-free area.

Nov. 15

9:26 a.m. – Deputy found camp in deep snow off FS11 Road in 51100 block Quartzville Road. Assisted occupants to get down the mountain.

9:40 a.m. – Caller reported unlocked vehicle was entered and items were stolen, 1800 block of Ulex. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and theft. Two other citizens reported break-ins on the same block. Info noted.

10:37 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on her sister, 2200 block of Nandina. Officer responded, female no longer at location. Bryce William McGowan, 37, cited and released on an Albany warrant for driving while suspended and a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation.

12:34 p.m. – Caller reported two juveniles taking apart benches, 3200 block of Long. Officer responded, contacted juveniles who denied reported activity, one bench had been removed from bleachers.

3:11 p.m. – Caller reported male keeps walking out into traffic and making vehicles stop, 1000 block of Long. Officer responded, Michaelray Jensen, 39, cited and released on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Warned for disorderly conduct.

3:12 p.m. – Caller reported female violated release agreement by contacting him. Officer responded, Natalie Marie DeShazer, 31, arrested on two counts of violation of release agreement, lodged in Linn County Jail.

3:48 p.m. – Allen Dale Ensley, 31, turned himself in on a Douglas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, cited and released, SHPD, 1950 Main.

7:56 p.m. – Joseph Michael Todd, 57, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 22nd and Long.

9:32 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office served Earl Ryan Dodge, 26, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft, Port Drive.

9:51 p.m. – Aubree Renee Alvarez, 23, cited for driving uninsured, 1900 block of Main.

10:36 p.m. – Wayland A. Porter, 60, cited on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of harassment and telephonic harassment, 800 block of 14th.

11:18 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle entered, camera lens and cigarettes taken, 1800 block of Ulex. Report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and theft, approximate value $208.
