7:23 a.m. – Caller reported a brown and white husky lying in a ditch, 1100 block of 42nd. Officer unable to catch dog. Officer spoke with a male who lived in the area. He believed the dog belongs to him. He said he had a husky who ran off several years ago when it was a puppy. Male advised of options.
10:42 a.m. – Caller found headphones on the railroad tracks, 900 block. Placed in found property.
10:52 a.m. – Gerald Stroud, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear, 4824 Main St., Hilltop Market. Cited and released.
11:30 a.m. – Caller reported an RV had been parked for the previous two nights in the old City Hall parking lot. Officer contacted the registered owner, who said it was having mechanical issues but would be on its way after it was fixed.
12:46 p.m. – David Patterson, 66, cited for failure to register vehicle, Main Street Market.
3:11 p.m. – Bradley Marion Pugh, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on a criminal driving charge, 5530 Quince St.
7:08 p.m. – Three juveniles referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of alcohol, 1800 block of Vine. Released to responsible adults.
10:14 p.m. – Seth Paul Wright, 19, cited for minor in possession of alcohol; three juveniles referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of alcohol; and Kathy Jo Hansen, 51, cited for providing alcohol to minors, 1000 block of 22nd.
11:23 p.m. – Deputies responded to an injury crash, 43400 block of Wiley Creek Drive. Investigation ongoing.

1:32 a.m. – Michell Dawn Slay, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Prineville.
2:46 a.m. – Caller reported seeing a cougar near a tree in her front yard, 1100 block of Ironwood. The cougar then “slithered” off. Officer unable to locate. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife advised.
8:46 a.m. – Caller reported a male left without paying for fuel, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.
9:53 a.m. – Caller saw a male and female put multiple items in a purse, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Loss valued at less than $30.
10:56 a.m. – Kaby Patricia Keith-Heidt, 23, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, and Steven Lee Ballweber, 30, arrested for possession of heroin and third-degree theft, 743 Birch St. Ballweber transported to Linn County Jail.
11:15 a.m. – A 16-year-old juvenile taken into custody for violation of a probation order, 39500 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Transported to Linn-Benton Detention Center.
11:57 a.m. – Kody Wayne Nunn, 30, cited by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct.
2:52 p.m. – Jacob Todd Newberg, 26, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 4900 block of Main. Cited and released.
4:27 p.m. – Caller turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for harassing communications, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
4:49 p.m. – Caller reported a burglary, 700 block of 1st. Report taken.
8:31 p.m. – Caller found sunglasses in a case, 1500 block of Long. Placed in found property.
11:28 p.m. – Diana Lynn Hall, 62, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and Brownsville warrant for failure to appear, Highway 20, milepost 25.5. Cited and released.

7:56 a.m. – Caller reported that another vehicle just ran into hers, 1500 block of Long. No injuries. Report taken. Caller warned for failing to yield prior to entering a roadway.
9:03 a.m. – Caller reported Halloween decorations were stolen, 800 block of 18th. Report taken. Loss valued at $81.
10 a.m. – Caller found a license near the high school gym, 1641 Long St. Placed in found property.
4:40 p.m. – Caller reported an adult female brandished a firearm and pointed it at her own head while in a vehicle with two juveniles, Sweet Home area. Caller also reported the female was likely intoxicated, although the female was not driving the vehicle during the incident, which occurred approximately one month earlier. Officer responded. Report taken. Investigation continuing.
8:28 p.m. – Deputies responded to a false “swatting” incident, 44900 block of Quartzville. No crimes were committed, and the report was believed to be related to a resident’s social media and Internet profiles.
9:05 p.m. – Jamie Carpenter, 43, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle, behind Sweet Home Liquor.
9:44 p.m. – Caller reported that a female who stole a candy bucket was making online threats to “trick” the caller’s house, 700 block of 27th. Officer contacted all parties. Mutual verbal disagreement. Each party trespassed from the other’s property. Both parties counseled for their actions.
Oct. 30
4:49 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor threw pumpkins at his company truck, 1900 block of 20th. No visible damage to vehicle. Second caller reported neighbor was blocking the roadway with his work truck and threatened to throw rocks at the caller’s vehicle when confronted. Officer counseled parties.
5:05 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle with four juvenile males honking the horn and making
in appropriate hand gestures at other drivers, 22nd and Long. Officer contacted the males and advised them of the complaint. The males said the caller’s vehicle swerved toward theirs, causing their actions. Officer counseled them for their actions. They said it would not occur again.
10:13 p.m. – A 15-year-old male taken into custody on Linn County warrant for unlawful manufacturing of drugs, 5900 block of Nandina. Transported to Linn County Juvenile Center.
Oct. 29
2:47 a.m. – David James Kamarec, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charges of first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft and second-degree attempted burglary, 6000 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
4:17 a.m. – Firefighters responded to a transformer fire and small grass fire, 6000 block of Main. Police assited.
9:04 a.m. – Andrew James Frei-tag, 18, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Lebanon.
9:17 a.m. – A 16-year-old male taken into custody for resisting arrest and Linn County warrant for first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree disorderly conduct, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Transported to Linn-Benton Detention Center.
9:21 a.m. – Caller reported his daughter stole her mother’s purse, 1900 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $170.
5:04 p.m. – Caller reported three vehicles parked on the street for a long period, 300 block of W. Pine. Officer contacted owners or relatives of owners for two vehicles and to attempt contact with the third owner at a later time.
5:08 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 2600 block of Long. Officer unable to locate.
8:19 p.m. – Michael Ray Watkins, 37, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, and Amberly Marie Haskins, 28, arrested on Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, west side of Safeway, 1540 Main St. Haskins transported to Linn County Jail.
11:19 p.m. – Loyce Marie Goodwin, 61, cited for no license, 2000 block of Main.

7:55 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke in and took items from his vehicle, 300 block of Elm. Report taken. Loss valued at $3,900.
9:46 a.m. – Darrell George Berrigan Jr., 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.
3:08 p.m. – Caller reported her ex-boyfriend hacked her Google account and was harassing her mother via text, 1400 block of Sunset. Officer responded. Information noted, and caller advised of options. Caller advised on how to obtain a stalking order. Officer to contact the male at a later time.
3:23 p.m. – Caller reported a pickup parked on the street since the previous week, 49th and Mountain Fir. Officer contacted and advised the registered owner of the city ordinance. Owner to move vehicle.
3:55 p.m. – Caller reported that an adult female was choked by her adult son, 1700 block of Fir. Report taken. Female transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.
5:17 p.m. – Caller reported tools stolen from a detached garage, 400 block of Juniper. Report taken. Loss valued at $380.
5:27 p.m. – Caller reported an outboard motor and fuel taken during the weekend, 250 Main St., OK Feed. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.
6:21 p.m. – Caller reported a pit bull running loose behind Hilltop Market, 4836 Main St. Officer contacted the owner, who denied the dog was out.
