Nov. 13

12:43 a.m. – Officer located an abandoned bicycle, 12th between Nandina and Main. Placed in found property.

1:36 a.m. – Derrek Charles Sharp, 26, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct and Linn County warrant for contempt of court, and Kody Wayne Nunn, 27, cited and released in field for second-degree disorderly conduct, 13th and Long.

3:33 a.m. – Caller reported that a male had been passed out in his car in front of Circle K, 2405 Main St., for the previous hour. Officer contacted a female who was asleep in the vehicle. She said she just got off work and was tired. Officer observed no signs of impairment.

7:38 a.m. – Caller reported that two pit bulls came into her yard and killed her rabbit and may have killed her cats, 4300 block of Long. Officer responded. Unable to locate.

10:10 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle, 5400 block of Osage. Information noted.

Nov. 12

2:22 a.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 21, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for contempt of court, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge.

6:06 a.m. – Caller reported two males grabbed beer and ran out of the store, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $25.

7:48 a.m. – Joshua James Warren, 35, cited for careless driving and driving while suspended after vehicle crashed into a fence, 1990 Long St. Vehicle impounded.

8:20 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle during the night and took a GPS unit, 600 block of Eighth. Loss valued at $150.

6:19 p.m. – Jennifer Lynn Harp, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

11:51 p.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 18th and Long. Cited and released.

Nov. 11

3:50 a.m. – Theresa Christina Alberts, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, Albany. Cited and released.

7:48 a.m. – Caller reported a person lying on the sidewalk behind the church for the previous two hours, 1100 block of 22nd. Officer contacted the male, who was just looking for a place to sleep for the night. Male planned to move on.

8:51 a.m. – Caller turned in keys found at 1540 Main St., Safeway. Placed in found property.

10:12 a.m. – Caller reported he was scammed via the Internet, 2200 block of Ironwood. Information noted.

11:30 a.m. – Samantha Christine Mansell, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 2600 block of Kalmia. Cited and released.

12:22 p.m. – Caller reported a dog at large on Highway 20 west of the city limits. Officer unable to locate any dogs.

3:36 p.m. – Brittny Ann Mahlee Gibson, 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of probation violation and two counts of possession of meth, Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, 1237 Nandina St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:12 p.m. – Matthew James Housen, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Albany.

6:18 p.m. – Daniel Anthony Ciullo, 29, arrested on Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of delivery of meth and possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 1339 Clark Mill Road. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:03 p.m. – Caller located a stray dog under a carport, 600 block of 10th. Placed in kennel.

Nov. 10

12:15 a.m. – Caller reported his phone stolen, and he tracked it down to a new address, Sankey Park. Officer contacted a male at the address the caller gave and retrieved the phone from a male. Phone returned to owner.

6:49 a.m. – Caller reported two green bags full of cans stolen from her carport, 500 block of Mountain View. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

6:53 a.m. – Rhett Jeremiah Tucker, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1700 block of 11th. Cited and released.

9:08 a.m. – Richard Lee Kintz-ley, 26, arrested for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

9:48 a.m. – John Paul Short, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for second-degree disorderly conduct, Linn County. Cited and released.

9:58 a.m. – Caller reported a male stole a sandwich, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Investigation continuing.

12:02 p.m. – Jake James Sorrell, 20, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree forgery, and Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 23, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and cited for driving uninsured and illegal display of plates, 18th and Spruce. Sorrell transported to Linn County Jail. McNees cited and released. Vehicle impounded.

12:27 p.m. – Caller reported that another student assaulted him, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken for strangulation and harassment.

12:36 p.m. – Caller reported a motor home parked on the street for a prolonged period of time, 1100 block of Second.

1:08 p.m. – Richard Lee Kintzley, 28, charged with possession of heroin and a Schedule II controlled substance, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail. Officer had allegedly located controlled substances on a prisoner.

1:23 p.m. – Blake Andrew Martin, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

2:43 p.m. – Angie Kay Cline, 41, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree forgery, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

3:28 p.m. – Callers reported a male was attacked by three juveniles, and his backpack was stolen, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Victim did not want to pursue charges, although his backpack was taken. Information noted.

3:35 p.m. – Caller reported a teacher pulled his son’s hair while on a field trip, Sweet Home area. Report taken.

5:02 p.m. – Caller reported a female was hanging out a window naked and cursing at her and children while walking by, 900 block of 12th. Officer responded. Female refused to come outside. Officer was able to talk to her through her window. She stated she would not come outside naked.

9:10 p.m. – Carrie Ann Giles, 35, cited and released in field on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass.

Nov. 9

12:10 a.m. – Lisa Marie Magers, 36, cited for driving while suspended, failure to carry proof of insurance and illegal display of a license plate, Pleasant Valley and railroad track. Vehicle impounded.

7:20 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle during the night, 1800 block of Ames Creek. Nothing appeared missing. Information noted.

10:02 a.m. – Caller reported a dog barking nonstop, 200 block of 10th. Officer responded. No dogs barking upon arrival. Officer contacted owner, who advised the dog may have been barking, but he would be leaving with the dogs.

10:37 a.m. – Tiffany Anne Burks, 36, cited and released in field for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1140 12th Ave., City Hall.

10:43 a.m. – Caller turned in keys she located at 12th and Kalmia. Placed in found property.

11:41 a.m. – Caller reported a possible cash scam on Craigslist. Information noted.

1:03 p.m. – Caller turned in a cell phone, Eighth Avenue. Placed in found property.

1:29 p.m. – Caller reported that someone may have gone through papers in her vehicle, 900 block of Dogwood. Information noted.

2:31 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs barking in the area, Fifth and Ironwood. Officer responded but did not hear any barking dogs.

2:32 p.m. – Caller reported that a vacant house had been vandalized and windows broken, 500 block of Third. Damage had been reported on Aug. 12. Officer took photos to document the damage.

4:43 p.m. – Caller reported that a teacher grabbed her son, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High School. Referred to school resource officer.

4:56 p.m. – Late log entry from Oct. 31. John Pablo Scott, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree escape.

8:50 p.m. – Albany Police Department served a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass on Amanda June Herbert, 28.

9:03 p.m. – Linn County Jail served a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft.

11:36 p.m. – Raymon Wayne Littell cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of negotiating a bad check, Highway 20, milepost 25.

11:54 p.m. – Gerald Lee Stroud, 54, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Highway 20, milepost 25.

Nov. 8

2:18 a.m. – Kenneth Ray Faulconer, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on second-degree theft, third-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass, Linn County. Cited and released.

7:51 a.m. – Edwardo Luis Ribas, 56, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to use seatbelt, 12th and Kalmia.

8:13 a.m. – Edwardo Luis Ribas, 56, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.

9:51 a.m. – Caller reported two large dogs running around the 800 block of 18th and Sankey Park. Officer unable to catch dogs.

11:03 a.m. – Kenneth Lee Halverson, 21, cited and released on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Sankey Park.

11:33 a.m. – Caller reported a motor home parked on the street for more than a week, 1000 block of Third. Referred to code enforcement.

11:37 a.m. – Caller reported persons living in a motor home and running the generator at all hours, 900 block of 27th. Referred to code enforcement.

1:15 p.m. – Justin Ray Gomez, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

2:42 p.m. – Caller reported garbage dumped on a vacant field off 23rd Avenue. Officer responded and advised owner of the issue. No suspect information at this time.

2:48 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken.

3:18 p.m. – Caller reported a truck parked in front of her mother’s house for a day, 1200 block of Tamarack. Vehicle posted for removal.

3:21 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s chicken was killed by two dogs running loose, 100 block of Eighth. Officer contacted the owner of the chicken. The owner did not want to pursue charges. Dogs placed in kennel, and dog control notifed.

3:57 p.m. – Officer located a bicycle, Sankey Park. Placed in found property.

4:12 p.m. – Caller brought a dog found in the Narrows on Highway 20 to the Police Department. Animal control notified.

5:06 p.m. – Motor home hit the guard rail and blocked lanes of travel, Foster Dam Road at the parking lot. Property damage less than $1,500. No citations. No injuries.

7:42 p.m. – Report taken for a non-injury accident when someone backed into the caller, 4824 Main St., Hilltop Market. No citations.

9:07 p.m. – Caller reported that a male just cut the lock off a bicycle and rode toward Sweet Home High School, 1000 block of 15th. Report taken.

Nov. 7

8:57 a.m. – Fifteen-year-old juvenile male taken into custody for second-degree assault against another student, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Transported to Oak Creek Detention Facility.

10:46 a.m. – Caller reported a dog at large for about a month, 53rd and Poplar. Caller believes she knows where the dog belongs, but the owner refuses to keep the dog contained. Officer talked with the owner’s grandfather, who said he would speak with the owner about containing the dog.

12:08 p.m. – Caller found a bicycle, 1600 block of Long. Placed in found property.

1:24 p.m. – Hailee Jo Smith-Daggett, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

2:45 p.m. – Caller reported an RV parked at White’s Park for nearly two weeks. Officer posted vehicle for removal.

6 p.m. – Caller reported finding a bicycle in the bushes, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Placed in found property.

6:38 p.m. – Caller reported her car battery stolen from her yard, 100 block of 23rd.

10:39 p.m. – Caller reported two subjects on camera trying to break into cars, 4300 block of Main. Officer unable to locate anyone.

Nov. 6

9:26 a.m. – Caller said someone cut the lock and took the diesel out of the caller’s storage tank, 43900 block of McDowell Creek. This occurred sometime after 6 p.m. the night before. Report taken.

2:59 p.m. – Caller reported a stray dog in the yard, 1400 block of Elm. Officer responded. Dog returned to owner.

3:44 p.m. – Caller reported a stray dog, 4600 block of Main. Dog placed in kennel. Animal control notified.

3:50 p.m. – Katina Leann May, 43, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

4:24 p.m. – Caller found drug paraphernalia. Items seized for destruction.

5:29 p.m. – Caller reported a light bar and roof rack taken from vehicle, Wiley Creek Park. Report taken. Loss valued at $239.

8:30 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barks 24 hours a day seven days a week, and the caller has been unsuccessful at getting the dog to quiet down, 500 block of Fifth. Officer contacted owner and advised him to take the dog inside.

9:03 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barking like crazy, keeping the caller’s family awake, 700 block of Eighth. Officer responded. Area quiet.

Nov. 2

2:40 a.m. – Across from caller’s house and down Fairview, someone hit every single trash can and there was garbage everywhere, 39900 block McDowell Creek.

8:48 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a vehicle that was parked at Holley Christian Church and stole fundraiser money. The money was in a tan shoulder bag with teal stripes. More than $700 was in the bag.
