Nov. 2

12:09 a.m. – Mark Anthony Simpson, 45, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to report as a sex offender, Lane County Jail.

1:47 a.m. – Amber Rae Bly, 23, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, 2405 Main St.

8:30 a.m. – Caller reported someone entered her unlocked vehicle and took change and a wallet, 1600 block of 13th. Report taken. Loss valued at $70.

8:48 a.m. – Caller reported someone burning garbage, 900 block of 27th. Referred to code enforcement.

9:07 a.m. – Caller reported a fence under construction without a permit, 4500 block of Manzanita. Referred to code enforcement.

11:23 a.m. – Caller reported miscellaneous items in the yard, 1200 block of 46th. Referred to code enforcement.

11:24 a.m. – Caller reported a needle in a dog waste bucket, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer seized and disposed of it.

12:32 p.m. – Caller reported a credit card stolen while in Sweet Home. Someone attempted to use it twice, but it was declined. Report taken.

Nov. 1

12:21 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in the parking lot, 621 Main St., Thriftway, with lights on for approximately an hour. Officer contacted the driver, who was resting. Driver moved on.

6:57 a.m. – Caller reported two juvenile males trying to open car doors, 600 block of Elm. Officer contacted two subjects matching the description. They denied the activity. Officer counseled the juveniles.

11:38 a.m. – Caller found property, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Property seized.

1:26 p.m. – Caller reported that someone backed into his vehicle, 1800 block of Fir Court. Report taken.

1:47 p.m. – Lebanon Police Department served a Sweet Home warrant on Kristopher S. Clark, 24, for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft.

6:01 p.m. – Charles James Marvel, 13, taken into custody and referred to the Linn County Juvenile Department for second-degree arson, 1139 First Ave. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.

9:23 p.m. – Andrea Joyce Ashby, 34, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, Main and 18th.

11:24 p.m. – Jeffery Carl Mansfield, 29, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, felony driving while suspended, two counts of third-degree theft, theft of services, identity theft and third-degree criminal mischief and on state warrant for parole violation; Breanna Marie Mansell, 22, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft; and Richard Francis Burnside Jr., 25, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, 2405 Main St. Mansfield transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported subjects were back at location, and they had been trespassed.

Oct. 31

11:18 a.m. – Caller reported subjects smoking and drinking, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer advised subjects of the new ordinance prohibiting alcohol in city parks and limiting smoking to designated areas. One left the park. Others complied with the new ordinance.

11:41 a.m. – Officer seized and disposed of syringes found in parking lot, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge.

2:09 p.m. – David Arroyo-Sandovol, 35, arrested for third-degree theft and on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft and two counts of possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and contempt of court on original charge of probation violation, Main and 43rd. Cited and released.

3:50 p.m. – Caller reported a male lying on the sidewalk, 1300 block of Long. Officer responded and gave male a courtesy ride home.

4:33 p.m. – Caller reported that he located his stolen vehicle, 1900 block of Main. Officer contacted the caller, who reported his vehicle was stolen during the night. Caller recovered vehicle. Report taken.

Oct. 30

9:21 a.m. – Steven Kenneth Stitt, 31, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1153 23rd Ave. Cited and released.

9:29 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a shed, 4691 Main St., Sweet Home RV Center. Report taken. Nothing taken.

10:05 a.m. – Chad Eric Schuster, 38, cited for driving uninsured, 1336 Nandina St. Caller had reported someone running into his parked car with a vehicle. Report taken.

12:08 p.m. – Shawn Michael Gali, 37, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, Oak Terrace and Long.

5:06 p.m. – Chad Eric Schuster, 38, arrested for providing false information to a police officer regarding insurance, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

5:37 p.m. – Theresa Christine Alberts, 27, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of shoplifting and contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, 12th and Nandina.

5:59 p.m. – Caller reported that her niece was just struck by a vehicle, 2000 block of Main, and the caller was taking her to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Report taken.

Oct. 29

1:46 a.m. – Blake Andrew Martin, 22, arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle and on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, behind Downtown Lounge. Cited and released.

7:52 a.m. – Jimmie Lee Barton, 42, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male walking out of the store with beer and not paying.

9:11 a.m. – Caller reported a female going door to door asking for money for food, 2400 block of Long. Officer contacted the female and advised her of the complaint. She said she would stop. Officer advised her of services available in town.

10:03 a.m. – Robert Gary Mills Jr., 35, arrested on Salem warrant for failure to appear on original charge of trespass, 15th and Main. Cited and released.

10:33 a.m. – Caller found a purse and other items on the trail off of Eighth Ave. Placed in found property.

11:18 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole his identity, 1200 block of 37th. Report taken.

1:39 p.m. – Matthew Adam Boehm, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possessing and using explosive fireworks; Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft; Linn County warrant for unauthorized departure; and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, Midway Market. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:48 p.m. – George Miller Krater, 59, turned in himself on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

6:54 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a beanie, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken.

Oct. 28

7:38 a.m. – Billy Joe Richardson, 49, cited and released in the field for misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1306 Main St., Main Street Market.

1:29 p.m. – Ervin Larry Smith, 62, cited for driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle, 2200 block of Tamarack.

2:56 p.m. – Calvin Alvin Ames, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Linn County. Cited and released.

5:53 p.m. – A 15-year-old male injured in single-vehicle crash, 2400 block of Main. Caller had reported hitting a male who ran out in front of her vehicle. Male pedestrian transported to hospital. No citations.

10:54 p.m. – Caller reported a male stealing a remote control truck from the back of his pickup, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.

Oct. 27

11:28 a.m. – Officer found a bike in a trash can while on foot patrol, Sankey Park. Placed in found property.

11:29 a.m. – Caller reported a female stole two beers and took off on a bicycle, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer contacted female and store employees. Female trespassed from the store.

12:17 p.m. – Muriah Marie Kendall, 42, arrested for driving under the influence, 5401 Main St., Foster Lake Mall. Cited and released. Caller had reported a female slumped over the wheel in a parked vehicle for about 30 minutes. The female was starting to awaken.

1:26 p.m. – Caller reported a female swapped her shoes for shoes on display in the store, 1228 Main St., Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

2:17 p.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 20, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on three counts of third-degree theft and two counts of second-degree criminal trespass; Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to comply on original charge of contempt of court; and Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

3:44 p.m. – Caller reported that her vehicle was rear-ended the day before, Main and Highway 228. report taken.

3:51 p.m. – Caller reported that someone messed with the door to her building, 1000 block of Main. Report taken for criminal mischief.

Oct. 26

2:09 p.m. – Caller reported her bicycle stolen three days earlier, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.

2:38 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a bad check, 4420 Main St., O&M Tire Factory. Report taken.

3:09 p.m. – Jennifer Kaye Hoover, 24, arrested for driving under the influence and recklessly endangering another person, 3100 block of Main. Cited and released. Caller had reported a female driving west in the eastbound lane.

3:44 p.m. – Caller reported that juveniles threw garbage all over at the end of the road and along the fence line, end of Willow Street.

4:37 p.m. – Caller reported a check written on a closed account, 4681 Main St., Sweet Home RV Center. Report taken.

4:44 p.m. – Dewayne Lee Edwards, 43, cited for driving while suspended, 12th and Main.
