Nov. 6

12:42 a.m. – Aaron James Lovik, 32, cited for driving while suspended, 23rd and Long.

12:56 a.m. – A 16-year-old female referred to Juvenile Department for curfew violation, 22nd and Juniper.

2:31 a.m. – Jeffrey Oliver Deffenbaugh, 55, arrested for driving under the influence, recklessly endangering another person and possession of meth, 18th and Tamarack. Cited and released. Vehicle impounded.

Nov. 5

12:26 a.m. – Abraham Lincoln Bonney, 43, cited for driving uninsured, 41st and Main.

7:33 a.m. – Jimmy Joe Brown Jr., 35, cited for driving uninsured.

9:55 a.m. – Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

12:09p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor shooting in his backyard with a pellet gun, 1800 block of Tamarack. Officer contacted the male and advised him of the ordinance. The male agreed to stop.

2:45 p.m. – Officer recovered a vehicle reported stolen out of Albany, east of Clark Mill on Main.

7:28 p.m. – Caller reported that a female stole two movies and left in a white car, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $49.98.

8:38 p.m. – Kaleb Kimber Banta, 19, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, Sankey Park. Cited and released.

8:55 p.m. – James Leroy Salvador, 26, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for possession of heroin, 1000 block of 14th.

9:06 p.m. – Two males received exclusion notices from city parks, Sankey Park.

10:02 p.m. – Brandon John Cassidy Kirby, 24, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

Nov. 4

3:37 a.m. – Isaiah Miller arrested for two counts of felony fourth-degree assault, two counts of third-degree criminal mischief and two counts of interfering with making a report, 40600 block of Weatherly Lane.

11:06 a.m. – Caller reported a dachshund running toward the Elks Lodge, 400 block of Osage. Officer unable to locate.

11:48 a.m. – Caller located a dog in the Narrows, Highway 20 west of city limits. Dog placed in kennel.

1:52 p.m. – Caller reported an RV parked on the street for more than a month, 1000 block of 14th. Caller also believes that someone lives in it. Officer contacted a male who knows the owners and would have them move it. No one was living inside it.

3:29 p.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on an 86-year-old male who was involved in a motor-vehicle collision the day before and then stayed in his wrecked vehicle overnight in the Lloyd Rice lot, 4713 Main St. Officer contacted the male and business owner. The owner was helping work out some options for the male. The male denied any help from the officer but said he would call if he changed his mind.

6:31 p.m. – Caller reported people outside screaming at each other, 300 block of 7th. Officer responded and contacted a female involved in the disturbance. She was having labor pains and was screaming, and she planned to go to the hospital.

4:34 p.m. – Rebecca Charlene Fox, 20, cited for no license, 4200 block of Long.

8:28 pm. – Joseph Brock Umphress, 29, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 3255 Juniper St. Cited and held for detox.

Nov. 3

8:48 a.m. – Caller reported her neighbors left out a deer carcass in a yard and it was attracting coyotes, 1000 block of 1st. Officer responded. A dog was there upon arrival. No coyotes. Officer unable to contact dog owner. A neighbor advised that the neighbor would get hold of the owner and let the owner know the owner’s dog was out.

9:01 a.m. – Caller reported an aggressive dog running loose, 200 block of 23rd. Officer responded and contacted the caller, who did not know what kind of dog it was or where it belonged. She said she would call back if she sees the dog again.

9:20 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious male on high school property, 15th and Long. Report taken for criminal trespass.

9:31 a.m. – Crook County Sheriff’s Office recovered a vehicle reported stolen out of Sweet Home. Owner advised.

10:16 a.m. – A 16-year-old juvenile referred to the Juvenile Department for first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

10:23 a.m. – Caller reported open storage, 1100 block of 57th. Referred to code enforcement officer.

11:01 a.m. – Caller reported that a male she does not know tried to pick up her 12-year-old daughter from basketball practice, 880 22nd Ave. Information noted and forwarded to School Resource Officer.

11:05 a.m. – Caller found a container with a suspicious substance inside, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Item seized for destruction.

11:14 a.m. – Caller reported that he hit a car in the parking lot, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer assisted with exchange of information.

11:53 a.m. – Caller reported approximately five individuals in a verbal altercation in the lobby, 679 Main St., Sweet Home Family Medicine. Report taken for disorderly conduct. Subjects to be trespassed from location.

12:01 p.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 40000 block of Highway 228. Deputy unable to locate.

12:05 p.m. – A 16-year-old juvenile was referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

12:44 p.m. – Kevin Ray Porter, 47, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree disorderly conduct, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

12:58 p.m. – Caller reported that someone ran into her fence with a car, 1400 block of Meadowlark. Report taken. Damage estimated at $750.

1:01 p.m. – Caller reported a travel trailer had been parked for about a month, 2200 block of Ironwood. Owners planned to move it by Nov. 8.

1:51 p.m. – Caller reported a student threatening to assault another and refusing to follow staff directions, 880 22nd Ave. Officer responded. Juvenile calmed down and was sent home with a parent for the day.

2:30 p..m. – A 16-year-old male taken into custody for third-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention. Stolen property valued at $4.18.

4:22 p.m. – Caller found syringes, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer disposed of syringes.

4:57 p.m. – Todd Darin Strickland, 48, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and using a cell phone while driving and arrested on a Linn County warrant for first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault and a Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of attempting to elude, 134 Holley Road. Caller had reported two mini-vans had crashed. Strickland transported to Linn County Jail. Vehicle impounded.

7:53 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of fuel, 4100 block of Osage. Report taken. Loss valued at $40.

Nov. 2

8:01 a.m. – A 14-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of tobacco, 880 22nd Ave, Sweet Home Junior High. One caller had reported that a juvenile attempted to sell him a cigarette right outside the the Junior High. A second caller had reported catching a student with cigarettes.

10:21 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a camera, 4300 block of Main. Report taken. Report taken. Loss valued at $149.

3:42 p.m. – Caller reported a trailer full of trash parked in the 3600 block of Green River. Referred to code enforcement officer.

10:57 p.m. – Adrionna Jolene Davis, 18, arrested for hit and run, 1345 Quince St. Cited and released.

Nov. 1

9:32 a.m. – Caller reported that a person who had been trespassed entered the store and stole a soda, 1501 Main St. Report taken.

10:17 a.m. – Caller found a black cell phone, McDowell Creek Park. Placed in found property.

11:19 a.m. – A 17-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of alcohol, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

11:40 a.m. – Oscar Junior Phillips, 46, cited for driving while suspended.

12:55 p.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 51, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 3200 block of Main.

1:30 p.m. – Caller reported that his white 2001 Ford Ranger was stolen, 3000 block of Main. Vehicle had been unsecured with keys inside. Report taken.

2:47 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dogs run loose all the time and bother her dogs, 3600 block of Green River. Officer unable to contact anyone at the residence. The dog was out but on its own property.

2:54 p.m. – Shauna Ray Harden, 23, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and Linn County warrant for probation violation, Towne Pump. Cited and released.

3:16 p.m. – Caller found syringes by the back door, 1347 Long St., Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Officer disposed of the items.

3:29 p.m. – Caller reported items stored in the yard and a vehicle up on blocks, 2000 block of 18th. Referred to code enforcement officer.

4:39 p.m. – Richard Lee Kintz-ley, 28, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Fern Lane. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:33 p.m. – Caller reported that someone kicked in his front door, 4610 Main St. Officer spoke with caller and a neighbor, who had camera footage of the caller leaving the front door open when he left.

8:29 p.m. – Johnny Lee Stone, 25, cited for open container of alcohol in a public place, 1200 block of 23rd.

9:46 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog bit him, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer responded. The bite did not break the skin. The caller and the owner of the dog worked out an agreement.

11:54 p.m. – William Ernest Cockrell, 54, arrested for giving false information to an officer, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and a Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft (owes 120 days in jail), 1146 Ironwood St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Oct. 31

3:38 a.m. – David James Kamarec, 22, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. He had been issued an exclusion notice the night before. Officer issued a 30-day exclusion notice to another 34-year-old male.

12:23 p.m. – Branden James Boettcher, 23; Brianna Marie Johnson, 18; James Keith Mortensen, 18, arrested for first-degree criminal trespass, and five juveniles ages 13 to 15 also referred to Linn County Juvenile Department for first-degree criminal trespass, 907 Long St. One 14-year-old male referred for runaway from Deschutes County. A caller had reported that someone may have been staying in a vacant house. Adults cited and released. Juveniles released to parents.

1:23 p.m. – Caller found a small black dachshund, 1900 block of Main. Dog taken into custody and later released to owner.

2 p.m. – Caller reported a transient in the stairwell leading to the furnace room, 1150 Elm St., Elm Street Baptist Church. Transient warned for trespassing.

2:20 p.m. – Caller reported that a female took items that didn’t belong to her, 500 block of Mountain View. Investigation pending.

2:26 p.m. – Caller reported a male with no shoes or shirt dancing around on the sidewalk and sometimes going into traffic, 15th and Main. Officer contacted male and advised him to stay out of the street.

5:04 p.m. – Caller reported an ongoing issue with a neighbor’s dog coming into the yard, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer contacted parties. The dog’s owner was making progress securing the dog in the yard.

5:06 p.m. – Caller reported a firearm missing, 1300 block of Poplar. Information noted and entered into the Law Enforcement Data System.

6:16 p.m. – Caller reported that a subject tried to get into the caller’s vehicle, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer contacted the subject and the caller. The caller did not wish to pursue charges. The subject was under the influence with possible mental issues. Officer warned the subject for his behavior.

7:48 p..m. – Brandon John Cassidy Kirby, 24, arrested for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, 15th and Main. Cited and released. Caller had reported that while she was at an intersection waiting for the light to change, a male subject attempted to enter her vehicle.

10 p.m. – A 13-year-old female runaway located, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported home and released to parent.

Oct. 30

7:50 a.m. – A single vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a ditch, 24200 block of Brush Creek. No property damage. Deputy unable to locate driver or registered owner. Vehicle tagged as abandoned.

10:07 a.m. – Rhett Jeremiah Tucker, 21, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth, first-degree theft and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:20 p.m. – Caller found a pouch containing drug paraphernalia, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Item seized for disposal.

12:43 p.m. – Laryssa Jean Cox, 28, cited for driving while suspended, 1500 block of 12th.

2:53 p.m. – Officer contacted the occupant of a travel trailer parked in the 1300 block of Clark Mill and warned the occupant for violating the city ordinance.

3:10 p.m. – Obed Pizarro, 30, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

3:13 p.m. – Richard Dean Raisor, 41, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for recklessly endangering another person, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

5:56 p.m. – Caller reported that she saw a male subject pushing a rototiller earlier in the day and that same rototiller was then sitting on the sidewalk near the location, 3000 block of Long. Officer contacted a subject who is known to push the rototiller. He told the officer it was on the sidewalk in the area because he lives in the area.

8:02 p.m. – Caller reported that subjects appeared to possibly be arguing over the price of drugs, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer issued a parks exclusion to a 22-year-old male.
