Oct. 12

9:50 a.m. – Caller reported that she has a restraining order against a male, and he keeps calling her, 1800 block of Cedar. Report taken.

11:49 a.m. – Caller reported four RVs with people living in them in a backyard, 5600 block of Larch. Referred to code enforcement.

12:44 p.m. – Caller brought in a bicycle left at Bi-Mart, 2000 Main St., over the weekend. Seized as found property.

12:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a male took a vehicle to have it checked out prior to sale and had not returned it, 4800 block of 48th. Report taken.

Oct. 11

8:29 a.m. – Caller reported a stolen vehicle, 1800 block of Fir. Report taken.

12:58 p.m. – Kristopher Ray Moak, 29, arrested for restraining order violation, attempting to elude a police officer and reckless driving and cited for driving while suspended, Highway 228 and Fern Ridge. Transported to Linn County Jail. Officer had attempted to follow up on a report of a restraining order violation, and a male subject allegedly eluded in his vehicle. The male was stopped in Lebanon at Highway 20 and Christopher Way.

2:45 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office recovered a vehicle reported stolen from Sweet Home.

6:01 p.m. – Joshua Ray Nichol, 24, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, 10th and Alder trail.

Oct. 10

12:24 a.m. – Officer located a bicycle, 1250 Nandina St. Seized as found property.

11:03 a.m. – Brian Lee Richardson, 41, cited and released in field for misdemeanor driving while suspended, Main and 13th.

11:26 a.m. – Caller reported that it appeared someone broke into a building, 1100 block of Long. Owner indicated that someone went through things, but it was unknown if anything was taken. Report taken.

12:38 p.m. – Caller reported a riding lawn more stolen, 300 block of W. Pine. Report taken.

3:08 p.m. – Officer recovered a gun reported stolen in Sweet Home, 13th and Nandina.

3:38 p.m. – Helen Jo Moak, 57, cited for driving while suspended, Highway 228.

3:55 p.m. – David Michael Holliday, 26, arrested on state warrant for parole violation, near Weddle Bridge. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:32 p.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 21, cited for driving while suspended, driving without insurance and a broken brake light and arrested on Sweet home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 2400 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail. Vehicle impounded.

9:01 p.m. – Alejandro Martinez Arciniega, 21, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 200 block of main. Cited and released. Four callers had reported an intoxicated male walking in the middle of the road.

9:26 p.m. – Caller reported a female with knife-slashed tires on her vehicle, and a male had marks and some blood on him, 6200 block of Main. Officer responded. It was not a mandatory arrest situation, and neither party wanted to pursue charges.

9:38 p.m. – Caller reported that an intoxicated male left a backpack at Subway, 1280 10th Ave. Officer seized item as found property.

Oct. 9

12:08 a.m. – Shawn Michael Gali, 37, arrested for second-degree theft, 12th and railroad tracks. Cited and released.

10:17 a.m. – Officer seized an invalid sticker from a vehicle, Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp.

12:51 p.m. – Kevin Wayne Johnson, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and contempt of court, Lebanon. Cited and released.

1:27 p.m. – Caller reported a fight between a mother and son, 1890 Kalmia St., Trail’s End Apartments. Officer responded. Verbal dispute, with son pouring a glass of water over mother. They have calmed down.

3:37 p.m. – The victim in a stolen property case has located a stolen item. Officer responded. Information noted, and investigation continuing.

4:56 p.m. – Caller reported reading glasses stolen, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken.

5:29 p.m. – Callers reported males walking around in the area trying to sell Internet and cable products, Westwood Street. Officer located a male and advised him that he needed a peddler’s permit.

5:55 p.m. – Jimmie Joe Bodenschatz, 55, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:53 p.m. – Caller found a wallet made out of duct tape, with a gingerbread man design on it, Husky Field. Placed in found property.

11:50 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a lawn chair and motion sensor light, 2400 block of Long. Report taken.

12:43 a.m. – Bradley Marion Pugh, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

12:50 a.m. – Steven Scott Sims, 33, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis. Cited and released.

12:56 a.m. – Caller reported a key box taken from his door, 700 block of Ninth. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.

5:04 a.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 20, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

9:15 a.m. – Caller turned in a wallet he located at McDonald’s, 2000 Main St. Placed in found property.

10:47 a.m. – Julia Rose Trietsch, 28, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County Jail.

2:59 p.m. – Caller reported that a female crashed her bike into a car and damaged the car, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer responded. Information exchanged.

3:03 p.m. – Calvin Alvin Ames, 49, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender. Cited and released.

4 p.m. – Caller reported a purple and black girls bicycle stolen from the carport, 1300 block of Grape. Report taken. Loss valued at $80.

5:07 p.m. – Matthew Ellis Claxton, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Linn County. Cited and released.

8:39 p.m. – David Duane Phillips, 60, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 2200 block of Long.

9 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of his bike, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

9:41 p.m. – Crystal Ray Sevak, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Cited and released.

Oct. 7

1:21 a.m. – Jacob Mitchell Thurber, 23, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, 18th near the railroad tracks. Cited and released.

8:16 a.m. – Caller reported finding an empty purse along the roadway, 300 block of Holley. Placed in found property.

1:18 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

1:55 p.m. – Caller reported finding a bicycle, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Bike placed in found property.

2:43 p.m. – Caller reported her bicycle stolen, 800 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

2:48 p.m. – Caller reported that a subject pulled a knife on him during a verbal argument, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report will be forwarded to the district attorney for review.

5:26 p.m. – Caller reported the neighbor’s dog in her yard again, 4100 block of Osage. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

8 p.m. – Amanda June Herbert, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on two original counts of second-degree criminal trespass, Lebanon. Herbert also arrested for offensive littering. Cited and released.

Oct. 6

2:02 a.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 18th and Main. Cited and released.

4:44 a.m. – Richard Guy Tagen, 26, turned in himself on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of criminal mischief, contempt of court and probation violation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault. Cited and released.

7:06 a.m. – Caller reported a bench stolen from her back patio, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.

9:36 a.m. – Caller reported finding drug paraphernalia in a room, 6200 block of Main. Property seized.

10:23 a.m. – Caller reported that someone cut the filler neck on a van and drained the fuel tank, 1333 Clark Mill Road, Sunshine Industries. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.

10:36 a.m. – Caller reported a street sign had been spray painted, 12th north of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $75.

10:32 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a DVD player and TV, 42200 block of Ames Creek, Community Chapel.

12:01 p.m. – Caller reported a toolbelt stolen from a vehicle during the night, 1300 block of First. Report taken. Loss valued at $250.

2:46 p.m. – Caller reported a bike stolen from his porch, 2400 block of Jefferson. Report taken. Loss valued at $60.

9:22 p.m. – Heath Lee Smith, 34, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, and John Paul Short, 32, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 4610 Main St. Cited and released. Callers had reported a physical disturbance. One reported several subjects in the roadway.

10:58 p.m. – Jody Lawrence Maruffo, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure comply on original charges of third-degree escape and contempt of court, 1900 block of Main. Cited and released.

Oct. 5

2:04 p.m. – Officer located a vehicle with the wrong validation stickers, 1300 block of Poplar. Stickers seized.

6:23 p.m. – Robyn Lynn Zook, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of hit and run, Hermiston. Cited and released.

7:13 p.m. – Joshua David Robertson, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County.

9:35 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a wallet containing more than $1,000, 1000 block of Epps. Report taken.

4:49 p.m. – Caller reported a restraining order violation, 40300 block of McQueen. Report taken.

Oct. 2

9:26 a.m. – Caller reported his wife’s wallet stolen from their yard, 48000 block of Highway 20. The wallet had been in a diaper bag. Report taken.

Oct. 1

11:23 a.m. – Caller reported that someone dumped household garbage, 28700 block of Jones. Report taken.

5:26 p.m. – Caller reported his 3-year-old daughter returned home from visitation with a pipe in her backpack, 28600 block of Jones. Report taken.

Sept. 30

11:44 a.m. – Caller reported an abandoned camp trailer near the 38500 block of Mountain Home. It had been out there for about three days. Report taken, and a deputy is trying to track down the responsible party.

7:51 p.m. – Caller reported a stolen vehicle, a green 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix, 25700 block of Brush Creek. The vehicle was recovered in the woods outside Sweet Home on Oct. 7. It had been burned and rolled over an embankment. Report taken.
