1:49 a.m. – Caller reported girlfriend broke out the windows on his vehicle, 5200 block of Redwood. Officer responded, info noted. Caller damaged girlfriend’s car previously. Neither wanted to pursue charges.
7:24 a.m. – Caller reported a male she has a restraining order against contacted her through social media, 3100 block of Main. Officer responded, report taken.
10:05 a.m. – Caller reported tools taken from construction site over the weekend, 2400 block of Harding. Report taken, unknown value at this time.
1:17 p.m. – Caller reported neighbors appear to be stealing water from her apartments, 1300 block of 45th. Officer responded, hose not currently in use, appears to have been used for a broken down vehicle nearby.
4:37 p.m. – Caller reported a male came back to the location and hooked the hose back up, 1300 block of 45th. Officer responded, advised male of theft of services issue, male put hose back. Jeffrey McNees, 27, cited and released on an Albany warrant for theft.
5:03 p.m. – Jason Scott, 33, turned himself in on an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for a parole violation. Lodged at Linn County Jail.
October 13
3:13 a.m. – Caller reported he is feeling like hurting himself, 400 block of Holley. Officer responded, courtesy transportation to a hospital.
4:40 a.m. – Caller reported a male is yelling at his girlfriend and it sounds like he is throwing or hitting things 1000 block of 13th. Officer responded, Zachariah Lee Davis, 31, arrested on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on two original charges of meth possession, and failure to appear on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and two charges of criminal driving. Cited and released due to COVID.
8:46 a.m. – Caller reported a generator was stolen over the weekend, 2500 block of Long. Officer responded, report taken for theft and criminal trespass. Items recovered in brush at location.
9:14 a.m. – Caller reported vehicles and boats parked on the street for a long period of time, 1700 block of Fir. Officer responded, two boats and two vehicles posted for removal on Oct. 16 at 8 a.m. Owner of another vehicle warned of city violation, he will move it as soon as it’s fixed.
2:46 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle is missing, 900 block of Long. Officer responded, info noted. Caller believes husband may have taken vehicle, will notify police department if she finds out differently.
3:02 p.m. – Steven Ballweber, 31, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, 1950 Main, SHPD. Cited and released.
3:25 p.m. – Oregon State Police cited Ronald Kolbee Credille, 24, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of escape and three counts of failure to report as a sex offender.
8:26 p.m. – Michael James Houseworth, 30, cited and released on a Linn County warrant for a parole violation, 1st and 228.
10:41 p.m. – Caller reported a male wandering around, looking into and leaning on cars, 12th and Nandina. Officer responded, Steven Kenneth Stitt, 35, cited and released on an Albany warrant for resisting arrest and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal trespass.
October 14
8:19 a.m. – Caller reported a male and female sleeping in the covered bridge for the last two days, Clover Memorial Park. Officer responded, contacted male and female and advised them they cannot sleep in the park, referred to Church of Nazarene. They are packing up their belongings and will move along.
9:18 a.m. – Caller reported his step-son is threatening him with his fists, 4900 block of Mimosa. Officer responded, contacted all parties, step-son is leaving of his own accord. Randy Scott, 54, cited and released on an Albany warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.
12:31 p.m. – Caller reported inoperable vehicle and an RV trailer they are scrapping parked on the street for several weeks, 2700 block of Kalmia. Officer responded, contacted homeowner, advised him of city ordinance. Both are scheduled to be scrapped in next few days, owner will make sure it’s done in a timely manner.
12:45 p.m. – Caller reported a female neighbor came to her and reported her boyfriend damaged her vehicle, took her money and tried to choke her about an hour ago, 1000 block of 13th. Officer responded, report taken. Zachariah Davis, 31, arrested for domestic violence-assault, menacing, and criminal mischief. Approximate damage value over $2,000.
2:19 p.m. – Caller reported someone damaged her fence, 700 block of 9th. Officer responded, info noted. Unknown if the damage was caused by a person or animal. Caller will call back if it happens again.
3:40 p.m. – Earl Dodge, 27, of Sweet Home arrested on multiple outstanding warrants after report of traffic hazard, 40000 block McDowell Creek Drive.
5:34 p.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 27, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1300 block of Tamarack.
8:46 p.m. – Caller fell victim to an online scam, 900 block of 22nd. Officer responded, info noted.
October 15
3:02 a.m. – Caller reported two males were in her yard trying to steam a bag of cans, 5400 block of Main. Officer responded, checked the area, unable to locate.
6:18 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on an elderly male wandering in the area who did not remember where he came from, 1100 block of Main. Officer responded, contacted male and daughter who had just arrived. Male is OK and will be in care of daughter.
6:20 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office cited and released Parker Del Mowdy, 24, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of animal abandonment.
7:15 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on 2200 block of Kalmia for two days. Officer responded, license plates seized for switched plates, vehicle posted for removal on Oct. 19. Attempted to contact owner, no answer.
8:17 a.m. – Jennifer Marlene Robertson, 46, turned herself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft. Cited and released from SHPD, 1950 Main.
10:06 a.m. – Brian Keith Bachman, 48, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of harassment. Cited and released from SHPD lobby, 1950 Main.
1:01 p.m. – Timothy Dean Morgan, 19, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of animal abandonment. Cited and released from SHPD Lobby, 1950 Main.
2:43 p.m. – On a traffic stop, officer located Earl Ryan Dodge, 26, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft, Main and 19th. Cody Norman, 29, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance.
3:24 p.m. – Caller reported a juvenile walking around the area with a butcher knife and swinging it at trees, 10th and Pine Top. Officer responded, located child, unable to locate knife. Juvenile said he found it and put it into a pond. Juvenile returned to parent, officer contacted caller who believed the knife was taken from her home. The parent will try to resolve the issue with the caller.
7:42 p.m. – Skylar James Samson, 30, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of forgery, a Brownsville warrant for failure to appear on a citation, and a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation. Cited and released from SHPD lobby, 1950 Main.
11:27 p.m. – Albany Police served Peggy Lynn Gibson, 48, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft.
11:34 p.m. – Winston Police served Andrew Jacob Justin Cartwright, 33, on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal trespassing.
October 16
4:47 a.m. – Officer cited Machaelray Jensen, 39, on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of criminal trespassing and criminal mischief, 1200 block of Long.
7:39 a.m. – Caller reported a male has been missing for several weeks, 400 block of Holley. Officer responded, contacted caller, male isn’t actually missing but just moved to Eugene.
12:52 p.m. – Caller reported not being able to contact female since Wednesday, 1800 block of Kalmia. Officer responded, contacted caller by phone, who requested a welfare check if female is located.
1:10 p.m. – Caller reported gas siphoned from vehicle, 300 block of Holley. Officer responded, report taken, estimated loss valued at $10.
2:32 p.m. – Stolen vehicle, a red and white Chevrolet El Camino, recovered in Clark County, Washington. One person in custody.
2:51 p.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 54, cited and released on Albany warrants for three counts of criminal trespassing and one count of possession of alcohol in a public place, 400 block of Holley.
3:59 p.m. – Tyler Jackson Horner, 31, cited for driving while suspended and improper display of validation stickers, 2000 block of Main.
8:50 p.m. – Caller wished to speak to an officer regarding threatening phone calls. Officer told contacted caller, subject was attempting to scam her out of money, which she hasn’t given him. Officer advised her of options.
9:37 p.m. – Caller reported a male walking up and down the street yelling, 200 block of 10th. Officer responded, male was attempting to find his cell phone. Officer helped him find his phone, and he’s now heading back to his friend’s residence in the area.
10:04 p.m. – Callers reported a vehicle crash at the 500 block of 3rd, possible injuries. Connor William Ford, 18, arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, and five counts of reckless endangerment. Booked, cited and released.
11:56 p.m. – Lebanon Police served Samantha Leann Stotz, 29, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.
October 17
2:50 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office served Sammy Raymond Hughes, 19, on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of theft and criminal mischief. 28400 block Highway 20/Dew Road. Report taken.
3:24 a.m. – Caller reported a male is refusing to leave her residence, 1000 block of Poplar. Officer responded, male given courtesy transport to another location. Levi Kyle Christian Johnson, 32, cited and released on a Benton County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to perform duties of a driver, a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, and a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation.
1:47 p.m. – Albany Police cited Beau Ryan Hall, 25, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.
1:47 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle drove through someone’s yard and hit a tree, then continued on 45th without a bumper, 45th and Main. Officer responded, Mary Hudson, 68, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. Transported to Linn County Hospital by medics.
2:13 p.m. – Albany Police cited Justin Lee Walker, 33, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft.
4:45 p.m. – Albany Police cited Joseph Aldor Dunham, 42, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal trespass.
6:14 p.m. – Caller reported someone has been shooting a .22 for over an hour, Harding and Mountain View. Officer unable to locate, construction truck is at location, so the caller may be hearing an air compressor.
7:35 p.m. – Caller said her husband, who she has a no-contact order with, just smashed her windshield and is walking west carrying two backpacks, 2000 block of Main. Officer unable to locate the husband, called the caller and she didn’t wish to wait for the officer. Was going to location to locate the husband herself, and hung up on dispatch.
10:20 p.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 27, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and studded tires, 18th and Main. Red Subaru Legacy impounded by Lloyd Rice Towing.
10:24 p.m. – Caller reported a fuel line was cut, 1700 block of Cedar. Report taken.
10:54 p.m. –Thomas Daniel Elmer, 49, cited on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on two counts of trespass and one count of theft, 12th and Elm.
11:17 p.m. – Heather Renae Fagan, 30, cited for driving while suspended, 1600 block of Main. Kyle James Elmer, 29, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of escape.
11:41 p.m. – Officer assisted fire department with a small fire, 6000 block of Main. Officer assisted in extinguishing fire. Small wooded memorial sign damaged.
11:45 p.m. – Officer transported two juveniles home, 2400 block of Main. Released to mother who is new to area and not familiar with curfew.
11:56 p.m. – Courtesy transport of juvenile located out after curfew, 45th and Main. Juvenile released to parent and warned for curfew.
October 18
12:09 a.m. – Anthony Allen Ensley, 38, served a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court, 2400 block of Main.
12:28 a.m. – Caller concerned because Jamie Carpenter is walking around the area and just knocked on the caller’s door wanting a light, 1500 block of Tamarack. Jamie Daniel Carpenter, 44, arrested on Linn County warrants for meth possession, failure to appear on original charges of driving while suspended, violation of an open container law in a motor vehicle, theft, and burglary, two counts of meth possession, and a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation. Transported and lodged at Linn County Jail.
12:55 a.m. – Caller reported hearing about 20 gunshots at Shea Point. Officer responded, located a truck in the ditch, unrelated to call. Operator drove into ditch while trying to turn around and also heard what sounded like gunshots. Officer stood by until Linn County Sheriff’s Office arrived. No victims .Sheriff’s investigation turned up no evidence of a shooting. 6300 block Highway 20.
4:05 a.m. – Brian Keith Montgomery, 63, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 15th and Main. Ambyr Ondre Dawson, 34, cited and released on a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation.
5:08 a.m. – Tracy Wade Backman, 53, cited on a Lebanon warrant for contempt on an original charge of driving while suspended and an Albany warrant for possession of a restricted weapon, White’s Park.
8:14 a.m. – Caller reported their front license plate was removed from their vehicle last night, 800 block of 14th. Report taken.
11:54 a.m. – Caller reported male hasn’t answered his phone for a couple weeks, 4600 block of Main. Officer contacted male who has caller blocked; doesn’t want contact anymore.
7:16 p.m. – William Fredrik Finney-Jordet, 18, cited for speeding, 45 in a 35, 2200 block of Main.
7:55 p.m. – Caller reported he is missing the keys to his vehicle and doesn’t believe he misplaced them, 1200 block of Laurel. Report taken for burglary and theft, loss value approximately $500.
8:54 p.m. – Tracy Wade Backman, 53, cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance, Clark Mill and Main.
10:39 p.m. – Davy Anthony Phillips, 48, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft, 1900 block of Willow.
