1:13 a.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 2000 block of Willow. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male and female fighting in the street.
4:05 a.m. – Caller reported a male walking in the roadway, Highway 20 in the Narrows. Officer transported the male to his residence.
8:03 a.m. – Caller reported a chain link fence had been cut to gain access to a State Parks vehicle, 48200 block of Cascadia Drive. Fuel was taken from the vehicle, Damage and theft were valued at $250. Report taken.
10:04 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dogs bark nonstop, 4100 block of Long. Officer responded. The dogs had stopped barking. The caller planned to call back if they start barking again.
11:08 p.m. – John Robert Kulbeth, 28, arrested for theft of services, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male dumping garbage in the store dumpster. She advised him to stop and get his trash, and she said he yelled at her and left.
12:03 p.m. – Caller found a syringe in the road, 1500 block of 9th. Officer disposed of the item.
12:23 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office recovered a vehicle reported stolen out of Sweet Home on Sept. 25.
2:50 p.m. – Caller reported seven bags of garbage dumped in front of a Cascade Timber Consulting gate, 27700 block of Scott Mountain. Report taken.
2:52 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a chainsaw, a line trimmer and a handheld blower, 28000 block of Ridgeway. Report taken.
2:55 p.m. – James Despota arrested for unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possession of meth and providing false information to a police officer and cited for driving 82 mph in a 55-mph zone, driving while suspended and illegal alteration or display of plates, 29100 block of Highway 20. Stolen vehicle recovered.
4:04 p.m. – Katie Linn Wamsley, 22, arrested on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and a criminal citation and an Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Wagon Wheel manufactured home park. Cited and released.
7:14 p.m. – Caller reported that someone siphoned fuel from her vehicle, 2200 block of Long. Unknown if fuel was taken. The cap was open but undamaged.
Sept. 28
8:05 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been parked for two weeks, 1800 block of 12th. Vehicle posted for removal.
8:40 p.m. – Caller reported three dogs at large and running into people’s yards, 300 block of 12th. Dogs were friendly but didn’t want to be caught. Linn County Animal Control notified.
9:01 a.m. – Keith George Fuler, 50, cited for speeding, 51 mph in a 35-mph zone.
9:20 a.m. – Caller reported a Hawthorne student pulled a knife on another student, 1700 block of 11th. Officer will take part in a school threat assessment.
10:25 a.m. – Caller reported two loose dogs, 1800 block of Fir. Caller transported them to the Police Department. Dogs placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.
12:12 p.m. – Caller found a small baggie with residue, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Officer disposed of the item.
12:25 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor posted another sign on the caller’s fence, 1200 block of Nandina. Officer contacted all parties. The female who posted the sign was uncooperative. Case referred to city attorney.
12:36 p.m. – Caller reported two students punched each other, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Officer counseled both students.
12:59 p.m. – Caller reported that a male was on the side of her house and no one should have been there, 600 block of 3rd. Officer responded. Subject gone upon arrival. A neighbor was able to identify the subject, and it appeared he was casing the residence.
1:53 p.m. – Caller found crushed up pills or capsules, 800 block of Main. Officer disposed of the item.
3:40 p.m. – Caller reported an unconscious male near 9th Avenue. An intoxicated male was up on his feet and walked home with his girlfriend.
3:48 p.m. – Kenith D. Laster, 24, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Polk County.
7:15 p.m. – Caller reported that a pickup hit a parked vehicle, 1400 block of Nandina. Information exchanged.
10:12 p.m. – Davy Anthony Phillips, 46, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
10:20 p.m. – Ludusky Hotchkiss, 38, cited for driving uninsured, 1400 block of Main.
Sept. 27
9:23 a.m. – Caller reported an overdose, 1900 block of 12th. Male transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.
9:48 a.m. – James Robert Warrington, 39, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and Linn County warrant for failure to comply, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:49 a.m. – Ruth Gaynelle Robbins, 45, turned in herself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.
5:28 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle and took items, 600 block of Nandina. Information noted.
10:19 a.m. – Harvey Michael Kapicka, 33, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Polcie Department. Cited and released in field.
12:26 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 13th and Long. Damage estimated at $1,300. Report taken.
12:39 p.m. – Cameron Michael Wark, 29, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1400 24th Ave., Sweet Home Public Works. Caller had reported a male with a machete and other subjects standing near the fence. The subjects left the property.
12:53 a.m. – Officer located a bicycle, 1300 block of 24th. Placed in found property.
12:54 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash reported on private property, 1900 block of Kalmia. Information noted. No injuries.
2:25 p.m. – Caller reported that she found a female putting nail polish all over her vehicle, 600 block of 17th. Information noted.
3:28 p.m. – Caller reported she had some items stolen, 1100 block of 42nd. Information noted.
4:22 p.m. – Brandon Lee Kurtz, 16, cited for no license (operating outside of restrictions), 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.
4:50 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle, 300 block of W. Nandina. Nothing was taken except maybe some loose change. Information noted.
5:14 p.m. – John Edgar Ridgeway Jr., 68, cited for no seatbelt, 1500 block of Main.
6:09 p.m. – Caller reported her cousin stole her boots, 2200 block of Main. Officer spoke with the caller’s mother, who did not wish to pursue charges.
6:29 p.m. – Caller reported people camping illegally, 4300 block of Osage. Officer contacted a male and female who had set up a tent for the night. They were advised that they were on private property and agreed to move along.
9:15 p.m. – Tucker Cole Downs, 18, cited for using a cell phone while driving, Long and 24th.
10:36 p.m. – Caller reported a male with a machete walking in the area, 2000 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.
Sept. 26
4:09 a.m. – Cody Daniel Lawrence, 28, cited for speeding, west city limits.
5:59 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s office recovered a license plate, but one plate from the set remains missing.
6:43 a.m. – Caller found a black beanie, Sweet Home area. Placed in found property.
10:45 a.m. – A 16-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.
10:52 a.m. – Officer recovered a stolen vehicle, 1100 block of 29th.
3:37 p.m. – Franklin Jung, 58, cited for driving while suspended, failure to wear seatbelt and improper display of stickers, Midway area.
3:51 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 28200 block of Liberty. Report taken.
4:22 p.m. – Timothy Todd De Jager, 52, cited for failure to wear seatbelt, driving uninsured and failure to carry proof of insurance, and Joan Elmira De Jager, 41, cited for failure to wear seatbelt.
4:46 p.m. – Leslie Lafayette Bone, 50, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of possession of meth and cited for failure to wear seatbelt, driving uninsured and failure to carry proof of insurance, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.
7:10 p.m. – David Wayne Samson, 57, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
9:12 p.m. – Mailei Aristani Rainbolt Kanui, 19, cited for no license, Long and Clark Mill.

8:46 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle stolen, 2200 block of Ironwood. Report taken. Vehicle recovered on Sept. 29.
9:23 a.m. – Officer was advised of a student who was trying to fight other kids, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Investigation continuing.
9:52 a.m. – Kiera Lynn Foley, 30, arrested for third-degree theft in connection to the theft of $12.15 in items, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.
10:12 a.m. – Caller reported maintenance found drug paraphernalia, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer disposed of paraphernalia.
10:30 a.m. – Caller reported a motor home with expired plates parked on the street, 1100 block of 2nd. Vehicle posted for removal.
11:52 a.m. – Caller reported two vehicles parked on the street for five weeks, 1100 block of 2nd. Vehicles posted for removal.
12:46 p.m. – Caller reported a parked vehicle with someone sleeping inside, 1600 block of 13th. Officer contacted the male, who was waiting for his girlfriend to get home. Officer encouraged him to move along, and he left.
1:05 p.m. – Caller reported that a dolly used for trash cans had been taken, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $2,380.
1:06 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 1300 block of Nandina. Dog placed in kennel.

3:33 p.m. – Caller reported a male misused bottle slips, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken for forgery.

Sept. 24
7:34 a.m. – Caller reported subjects sleeping in his backyard, 2200 block of Main. Officer trespassed them from location and advised of options and services in the area.
9:18 a.m. – Caller reported items taken and fuel siphoned, 1400 24th Ave., Sweet Home Public Works. Report taken.
9:30 a.m.- Caller reported trash and needles alongside the building near the trees, 1199 10th Ave., Key Bank. Officer located a food box with items rotting inside it. No needles located in the area. Officer disposed of the box.
10:01 a.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall Jr., 35, and Amanda Rae Stafford, 42, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, north of railroad tracks on 24th. Stafford also cited and released in field on a Sweet Home warrant for second-degree criminal trespass and a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and a criminal citation.

12:49 p.m. – Marcus Eric Kenkle, 47, cited for no license and failure to carry proof of insurance, Long and 12th.
1:08 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 4610 Main St. Dog was secured as the officer arrived. A child had let the dog out by accident. Officer counseled and warned owner for dog at large.
1:50 p.m. – Caller reported a dog lunged at him through a car window, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Vehicle gone upon officer arrival.
3:21 p.m. – Caller reported a bus was hit by a vehicle behind Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St. Report taken.
4:25 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her father’s unsecured truck and items were shuffled around, 1100 block of 24th. Report taken. No indication anything was taken.
5:44 p.m. – Caller reported two male juveniles were stealing things from her back porch and running around the parking lot unsupervised, 300 W. Holley Road,
Stonebrook Apartments. Officer spoke with the juveniles and parents and counseled the juveniles for their actions.
6:02 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose and looked injured, 18th and Vine. Officer unable to locate.
6:09 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in the caller’s front yard, 4100 block of Main. Dog placed in kennel.
6:45 p.m. – Abigael Elizabeth Wood, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of heroin, 1400 block of 13th. Transported to Linn County Jail.
