Oct. 9

1:13 a.m. – Steven Andrew Williamson, 48, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

3:52 a.m. – Caller said she was concerned about the roadway near a water leak, 3000 block of Long. She said it appeared the road was caving in. Officer responded and found the road buckling. Public Works notified. Officer left cones on the scene.

12:04 p.m. – Stacy Manuel Teixeira, 51, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

Oct. 8

1:01 a.m. – Kathryn Lynn Patten, 55, cited for driving while suspended, 3108 Main St.

7:11 a.m. – Caller reported a large white dog running in the highway, 6200 block of Main. Dog didn’t want to be caught and was last seen heading up Wiley Creek.

10:36 a.m. – Caller flagged down a police officer to report a suspicious male following her, 2400 block of Main. Officer provided a courtesy transport to Sankey Park.

11:20 a.m. – Caller reported two loose dogs, 1200 block of 40th. Officer responded. No chip located. Caller planned to keep dogs till owner was found.

11:38 a.m. – Caller reported a loose German shepherd, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Dog placed in kennel until employee got off work. The employee planned to keep the dog until the owner is found.

2:54 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St, Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $14.

2:58 p.m. – Caller located a debit card, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Placed in found property.

2:54 p.m. – Steven Dale Bergevin, 27, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving under the influence and probation violation, 10th and Long.

8:26 p.m. – Jesse Michael Langdon, 35, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and probation violation, old mill property off Green River.

10:35 p.m. – Caller reported that a subject stole his backpack and drove away, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

11:13 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female in a dispute, 1500 block of 12th. The female asked the caller to call 9-1-1. A second caller heard a female asking someone to call 9-1-1. Report taken for harassment, criminal mischief and interfering with making a report.

Oct. 7

7:22 a.m. – Caller reported that someone was sleeping next to her fence, 2400 block of Harding. Officer contacted a subject that lives in the area. He said he had too much to drink and fell asleep there.

10:21 a.m. – Caller reported three checks missing, and one he did not write had been processed through his account, 1000 block of 24th. Report taken.

11:47 a.m. – Caller reported that a male took four packages of candy, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Report taken. Loss valued at $4.36.

12:10 p.m. – Kelly Lee Ash, 33, arrested for restraining order violation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:52 p.m. – Caller found an unsigned EBT card on the sidewalk, 2000 block of Main. Placed in found property.

3:34 p.m. – Caller reported items stolen from her sister’s house while she was in jail, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer attempted to contact caller by phone but was unable to contact her.

5:40 p.m. – Caller reported a red pickup hit a gate and took off, 1100 block of Redwood. Information noted. Damage less than $200.

5:56 p.m. – Skylar James Samson, 26, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 1000 block of 15th.

Oct. 6

2:38 a.m. – Michael Scott Webster, 45, arrested for hit and run, reckless driving and driving under the influence and cited for refusing to submit to a breath test in single-vehicle crash, Mountain View and Ames Creek. Cited and released. Vehicle impounded. Caller reported hearing a crash and seeing vehicle lights off the side of the road. Second caller said a vehicle hit the bridge. Officers located a vehicle on its side. It had crashed into the guardrail, damaging the guardrail and bridge railing.

4:50 a.m. – Van Jerome Potts, 39, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree disorderly conduct, 1900 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:36 a.m. – Caller reported a rebate card missing from his mailbox, 900 block of Catalpa. Report taken. Loss valued at $120.

9:47 a.m. – Caller reported a male with his face painted black with a white skull, 3000 block of Long. Officer contacted a male who was dressed as a Gothic clown and warned him for disorderly conduct.

12:28 p.m. – Steven Edward Grimm, 46, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear, Upper Sankey Park. Cited and released.

1:19 p.m. – Officer seized drug-related items, Sankey Park.

1:36 p.m. – Robert Aaron Davis, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Benton County. Cited and released.

3:14 p.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 26, arrested on Linn County warrant for possession of meth, Lebanon warrant for probation violation, Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and new charges of second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree theft and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, Weddle Bridge. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:46 p.m. – Andrea Joyce Ashby, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of criminal mistreatment and cited for consuming alcohol in public, 12th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:26 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle stored in a front yard for more than a year, 300 block of Ironwood. Referred to code enforcement.

4:30 p.m. – Robert James Juza, 30, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

5:57 p.m. – Caller reported a sign torn from the ground, Sankey Park. Report taken. Public Works advised.

6:48 p.m. – Caller reported a purse stolen from the front porch, 2700 block of Kalmia. Report taken. Loss valued at $900.

7:32 p.m. – Caller reported that she was assaulted by two females and a male, and a second caller reported that her daughters were assaulted, 3200 block of Main. Report taken. Report forwarded to city attorney for review.

9:10 p.m. – Caller reported a wallet lost or stolen, 1300 block of Main. Report taken.

9:36 p.m. – Caller reported male dressed up like a clown standing on the other side of the fence, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer unable to locate.

10:17 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked over the curb into the roadway, 1118 Main St, O’Reilly’s. Vehicle towed as a hazard.

Oct. 5

3:41 a.m. – Leslie Lee Gibson, 49, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and probation violation, 12th and Main. Officer gave Gibson a blanket to keep warm.

4:26 a.m. – Craig Bruce Adams, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 12th and Long. Cited and released.

8:17 a.m. – Caller reported a student had marijuana at school, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Officer located a pipe on the student and disposed of it.

9:25 a.m. – Dakota Matthew Miranda, 16, cited for no license and unsignaled turn, Fourth and Juniper.

10:23 a.m. – Caller reported that someone lit a burn pile on fire, 1530 Tamarack, Mountain Shadows. Officer responded and found the burn pile smoldering and under control. It would be monitored throughout the day.

10:45 a.m. – Courtney Renee Bruce, 18, arrested for harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

11:16 a.m. – Caller turned in an AED machine and notebook she found at Wiley Creek Park. Placed in found property.

1:37 a.m. – Caller turned in a Barnes and Noble Mastercard, high school tennis courts. Placed in found property.

2:01 p.m. – Austin Leroy Gary Jackson, 20, arrested for first-degree burglary, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:52 p.m. – Caller reported a large fir tree buckling the sidewalk, Fourth and Elm. Caller was concerned it would fall over. Referred to code enforcement.

4:16 p.m. – Caller reported a business owner living in an RV on a business property, 100 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

4:29 p.m. – Caller reported a about a dozen chickens and a rooster that crows all the time, 4800 block of Highway 20. Caller also said the conditions were deplorable for the chickens. Referred to code enforcement.

8:14 p.m. – Brandon John Cassidy Kirby, 23, arrested on Multnomah County warrant for probation violation on original charge of fourth-degree assault, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Oct. 4

7:49 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his vehicle and stole all of his fuel, 1000 block of 13th. Report taken.

9:12 a.m. – Caller reported that a sink was ripped from the wall in a restroom, Sankey Park. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

9:15 a.m. – Caller reported people living in a trailer behind a shop for a prolonged period of time, 5300 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

10:09 a.m. – Caller reported someone stealing things from her home, 300 block of Mountain View. Information noted.

11:13 a.m. – Caller reported dogs barking, 2900 block of Foothills. Referred to code enforcement.

11:17 a.m. – Caller reported neighbors running a chainsaw throughout the day, 1200 block of Evergreen. Referred to code enforcement.

11:47 a.m. – Caller said a female was at the front door trying to get in, 40100 block of Highway 228. Sweet Home polce dropped off the caller’s ex-wife at the residence. Caller said she has not lived there for six months and wanted her to removed from the property. Deputies arrived on the scene and she was advised to leave and not return.

11:53 a.m. – Caller reported dogs barking all the time, 5300 block of Main. Officer did not hear dogs barking in the area.

1:12 p.m. – Caller reported two females were in the store vandalizing it and stealing, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Information forwarded to School Resource Officer.

1:27 a.m. – Caller reported that people have set up camp on her property and walk through her yard to get to the camp, 700 block of Main. Officer located the camp and planned to return to find whoever was there.

5:05 p.m. – Joshua Lee Roebuck, 29, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree burglary and Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving while suspended, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:07 p.m. – Steven Scott Simms, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Cottage Grove. Cited and released.

7:48 p.m. – Kim Hartstalk, 62, arrested for harassment, 28000 block of Weatherly. Hartstalk alleged shoved the barrel of a BB gun into the victim’s stomach, which caused the victim to fall and cut her hand.

9:04 p.m. – Caller said she hit a brindled colored Great Dane on Upper Calapooia. The caller said the dog ran off. Report taken.

Oct. 3

12:22 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked, 1100 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $40.

6:54 a.m. – Caller reported money taken from her bank account, 1300 block of Fir. Caller was a victim of an Internet scam. The bank is working on getting back her money. Information noted.

12:20 p.m. – Caller reported five bicycles stolen, 1000 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.

1:01 p.m. – Bradley Marion Pugh, 33, cited for no license, 53rd and Main.

1:02 p.m. – Caller reported a gun missing, 1000 block of 24th. Report taken. Loss valued at $220.

1:35 p.m. – Caller reported marijuana in the men’s restroom, Sankey Park. Officer located a small amount of marijuana in the sink and disposed of it.

2:23 p.m. – Phillip Grant Passmore, 40, arrested for violation of release agreement, 4155 Osage St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:06 p.m. – Caller reported a dog that keeps coming onto his property was there again, 4900 block of Maple. Officer unable to locate.

4:15 p.m. – Caller’s mailbox was left open, and some mail that she had been expecting has not arrived, 40400 block of McQueen. She believes some mail has been stolen. Report taken.

4:18 p.m. – Caller found a credit card, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in found property.

4:55 p.m. – Caller reported drug paraphernalia in a restroom, 1203 Long St., All Star Pizza. Property seized for destruction.

5:10 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor broke her pack of cigarettes and Halloween decorations, 3224 Main St., South Fork. Report taken. Loss valued at $10.

Oct. 2

3:31 p.m. – Leslie Michelle Gerard, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of offensive littering, and Landon Frank Gerard, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, Bend. Cited and released.

4:42 p.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 28, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, 3200 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:18 p.m. – Andrea Joyce Ashby, 35, cited for consumption of alcohol in public.

7:33 p.m. – Thomas Nathan Links, 41, arrested for strangulation (domestic violence) and harassment (domestic violence), 1221 Laurel Court. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:53 p.m. – Theresa Christine Alberts, 28, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:28 p.m. – Caller reported that dogs ran out at her again, 4100 block of Main. Officer spoke with the caller and owner of the dogs. Caller was not open to suggestions, and owner would try her best to keep the dogs contained.

8:32 p.m. – Caller reported he was giving a female a ride home, but she didn’t know where she lived, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Officer gave female a courtesy transport to her residence.

11:36 p.m. – Travis Trent Stach-Sells, 26, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and probation violation and Sweet Home warrants for two counts of distribution of a controlled substance, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Transported to Linn County Jail. Vehicle impounded.

Sept. 29

1:51 p.m. – Caller who works for CTC caught a man out of Gladstone cutting firewood without a permit, 2 miles up Sheep Creek. No action taken.

Sept. 28

1:47 p.m. – Caller reported trying to repossess a vehicle and it turned into a physical altercation, 29000 block of Highway 20. Deputies arrived at the residence, and the people at the residence were reluctant to tell deputies what happened. Deputy attempted to call the caller but there was no answer.

7:13 p.m. – Caller said three days ago she saw someone trying to take a package form the address across the road, 27100 block of Rowell Hill. The male subject was in a white two-door car.
