Oct. 9

2:26 am. – Renee Ruth Carr, 52, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for littering near water, 4600 block of Main.

Oct. 8

9:11 a.m. – Jeffrey Allen Funk, 36, cited for driving uninsured, 4655 Mahogany Lane.

12:02 p.m. – Caller found a dog at Safeway, 1540 Main St. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.

6:39 p.m. – Caller reported that a white Honda came into the manufactured home park, hit her then left west on Main Street, 4610 Main St. Report taken.

6:56 p.m. – Caller found property on the side of the road, south end of 16th. Placed in found property.

Oct. 7

7:39 a.m. – Anthony Allen Ensley, 35, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation and for failure to appear on a criminal citation and contempt of court, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, 1220 23rd Ave. Cited and released. Caller had reported a parked car with two males inside who appeared to be smoking out of a pipe.

7:59 a.m. – Caller reported that the caller’s mailbox was knocked over during the night, 24700 block of Springer.

11:32 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s garage was open and no one was home, 2700 block of Foothills. Officer responded. Nothing appeared tampered with. Officer closed the garage and left a business card for the resident.

1:43 p.m. – Single-vehicle crash, 41700 block of Upper Calapooia. Driver lost control and hit a privately owned fence, county-owned road sign and a telephone box. Report taken.

3:52 p.m. – John Christopher McNabb, 47, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Nandina and 12th. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:30 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle was damaged, 2400 block of Long. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief.

6:48 p.m. – Caller found a bicycle by the river, 1700 block of 11th. Bicycle placed in found property.

8:13 p.m. – Caller found keys on the sidewalk, 18th and Long. Placed in found property.

Oct. 6

7:28 a.m. – Caller reported that juveniles waiting for the bus were throwing rocks and screaming, 4610 Main St. Officer responded and contacted juveniles who were already loaded on the bus. The officer counseled the entire bus.

9:55 a.m. – Robin David Fox III, 27, arrested on Lebanon warrant for driving while suspended and probation violation, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

12:08 p.m. – Bielman Joel Ramirez Salic, 25, cited for no license, driving uninsured and speeding, 47 mph in a 25 mph zone, Main and 18th.

12:14 p.m. – Caller reported a male with a pistol on his side, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Officer responded and contacted a male who had a pellet gun. Officer advised him of the complaint.

12:31 p.m. – Caller reported that a male was fighting with employees and they have him pinned to the ground, 6281 Main St. Officer responded and learned it was a physical altercation over a male refusing to leave the property. Neither party wanted to pursue charges. The male was trespassed from the property.

12:58 p.m. – Caller reported subjects possibly living in a van, 1900 block of Willow. Officer contacted a male who would be leaving the area.

1:27 p.m. – Caller reported finding a cage with a cat locked inside, 1200 block of 41st. She let the cat go. Trap seized as found property.

4:32 p.m. – Deputy assisted a motorist who was stuck behind a locked U.S. Bureau of Land Management gate on Rocky Top Road. He had been hunting, and the gate was open. When he returned, it was closed and locked. There is an active logging site in the area, so the gate is closed at the end of the work day. The gate did not have a sign that said this.

5:01 p.m. – Danny Ray Roebuck, 63, arrested for third-degree theft and a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and failure to appear, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:04 p.m. – Joey Dawayne Persinger, 24, cited and released in field on a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft and cited for driving while suspended and dangerous left turn in two-vehicle crash, Highway 20 and 23rd. No injuries.

6:54 p.m. – Caller reported that his son admitted to taking a bicycle, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Officer seized bicycle. Investigation continuing.

7:48 p.m. – Kassidy Nicole Vandehei, 15, cited for careless driving and no license, Main and 22nd.

11:44 p.m. – Caller reported that someone just hit a dog and left, 1200 block of Wiley Creek. Officer located animal, which appeared to have a broken leg or hip. Unable to locate owner. Animal Control advised.

Oct. 5

5:07 a.m. – Tyson Derek Boren, 34, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving under the influence and probation violation, 1400 block of Long.

7:05 a.m. – Caller located a dog in the middle of a roadway, Highway 228 and Fern Ridge. Dog placed in kennel, and owner advised.

4:09 p.m. – Caller located a bicycle that had been down by the river for several days, 1700 block of 11th. Placed in found property.

4:22 p.m. – Caller reported persons tearing down buildings and running a generator, 3400 block of Green River. Referred to code enforcement.

4:54 p.m. – Caller reported a motorcycle stolen, 1200 block of 37th.

5:56 p.m. – Tami Jeneca Smith, 50, cited and released in field for misdemeanor driving while suspended, 18th and railroad tracks.

6:39 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her fiance’s truck during the night, 1900 block of 19th. Report taken. Loss valued at $399.

7:51 p.m. – Officer located a stalled vehicle blocking the roadway, 23rd and Main. Vehicle impounded.

8:52 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his vehicle, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $170.

9:41 p.m. – Caller reported that her neighbor’s dog has been barking nonstop, 1300 block of Poplar. Officer unable to contact the owner and left message on owner’s voicemail.

Oct. 4

9:08 a.m. – Marion County Sheriff’s Office located a vehicle reported stolen from Sweet Home. Registered owner notified.

9:26 a.m. – Caller reported that a coyote was in the caller’s yard most of the day on Oct. 3. Caller given number for Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

11:38 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor is operating a business and storing wrecked vehicles, 28000 block of Riggs Hill. Referred to code enforcement.

11:57 a.m. – Caller reported that a male with no shirt or shoes was walking west on Long Street and throwing trash, 1300 block of Long. The caller said he also threw a rock toward a vehicle. Officer unable to locate the male.

1:35 p.m. – Caller reported subjects were staying in a vacant house and they took things from the caller’s yard, 2200 block of Main. Officer responded. The residence was vacant, but it had a lot of left-over garbage and feces. The caller was advised to call back when she sees anything suspicious.

1:43 p.m. – Caller reported that checks were taken from her residence, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer contacted the caller, who was unsure if a check was delivered or cashed. Caller planned to follow up with the Social Security office. Loss valued at $735. Information noted.

2:53 p.m. – Caller reported that a trailer had been parked at the end of the street for two days, 15th and Kalmia. The trailer had no door or license plates. Officer contacted a male who advised he owns the trailer, is aware of the city ordinance and would be moving it shortly.

3:05 p.m. – Three-vehicle crash, Main and 12th. All vehicles were operable, and no one was injured. Officer assisted drivers with exchange of information.

4:15 p.m. – Caller reported a knife found in the men’s room at Subway, 1280 10th Ave. Officer seized the knife and placed in found property.

11:26 p.m. – Steven Dean Fox, 34, cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

Oct. 3

8:37 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered a dump truck and threw items on the ground outside and a fire extinguisher had been discharged, 41100 block of Skyline. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.

9:08 a.m. – Caller reported that a male showed up five minutes earlier, got into a vehicle and went to sleep, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer responded and contacted two subjects, who were trespassed from the location. They planned to work on getting a valid driver to move the vehicle.

10:19 a.m. – Caller reported that someone dumped three mattresses on the curb, 5th and Juniper. Referred to code enforcement.

10:19 a.m. – Caller reported a utility trailer parked on the street for the past four months, 4600 block of Live Oak. Officer contacted owner, who agreed to move it.

12:36 p.m. – Single-vehicle crash into a ditch, 42500 block of North River.

1:32 p.m. – Caller reported that a friend’s parent opened a power account in his name, 44400 block of Shea Hill.

3:55 p.m. – Caller reported that his vehicle had been hit between Oct. 1 and Oct. 3, 1200 block of 1st. Information noted.

7:57 p.m. – Jessie Lee Duncan, 22, arrested on Brownsville warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 1285 46th Ave. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male outside yelling at someone to get inside the house. Officer responded. Dispute was verbal only between two females and a male.

11:24 p.m. – Caller reported that someone went through her friend’s car, 400 block of Juniper. Unknown if anything missing. Report taken. The vehicle had been left unsecured.

Oct. 2

7:55 a.m. – Accidental gunshot wound reported, 400 block of Elm. Medics transported a male subject to Good Samaritan Hospital.

8:20 a.m. – Caller reported items stolen from his backyard, 1100 block of Poplar. Report taken.

8:28 a.m. – Caller reported garbage dumped at the turnout near Wiley Creek Park. Officer responded. It was an open storage issue. Referred to code enforcement.

9:51 a.m. – Callers reported two dogs running loose, 2300 block of Main. A caller reported they became aggressive when the caller tried to get them out of the road. Dogs gone upon officer arrival. Officer contacted the owner, and the owner was able to secure the dogs.

10:09 a.m. – James Leroy Salvador, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

11:41 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her garage between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Oct. 1. Officer responded. Information noted. Unknown if anything was missing.

11:54 a.m. – Caller reported her cell phone and debit card stolen, 700 block of 7th. Information noted.

12:04 p.m. – Caller reported that someone went through his vehicle and left a wood club in the vehicle, 900 block of 6th. Report taken. Nothing stolen.

4:10 p.m. – Caller reported a person living in an RV, 900 block of 27th. Referred to code enforcement.

6:13 p.m. – Caller reported that he located his wallet, which went missing on Oct. 1, and money was missing, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Report taken. Loss valued at $780.

7:38 p.m. – Landon Frank Gerard, 41, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Deschutes County. Cited and released.
