1:48 a.m. – Harvey Michael Kapicka, 31, held for detox and then released, 1400 block of Elm. Caller had reported a couple arguing in the street.
7:39 a.m. – Caller located a vehicle reported stolen out of Sweet Home, Pleasant Valley and Northside. Vehicle returned to owner.
10:47 a.m. – Caller reported that someone left a trailer full of scrap metal on the caller’s property, 1300 block of 42nd. Officer responded. The trailer had a flat tire. The caller planned to park a vehicle in front of it with a note and would call back when the owner of the trailer returned.
11:07 a.m. – Kenith Dell Laster III, 23, cited for third-degree theft in connection to a case from Oct. 22, Linn County Jail.
Oct. 22
2:21 a.m. – Jeremy Lee Ferebee, 37, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 15th Avenue at Safeway.
2:42 a.m. – Nathan Michael Cobat, 26, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), 1283 44th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male and female fighting.
4:42 a.m. – Caller reported that someone kicked in her front door, 1800 block of Vine. Report taken.
10:39 a.m. – Keegan Eric Schuster, 16, cited for failure to renew registration, 1200 block of 18th.
12:48 p.m. – Caller reported a dog barking for the past hour, 4600 block of Long. Quiet upon officer arrival. Dog had been put inside. Officer advised owner of the complaint.
3:38 p.m. – Caller found a dog in the 1500 block of Tamarack. Placed in kennel.
8:36 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle missing, 2100 block of Main. Report taken for stolen vehicle.
9:17 p.m. – Jacob Todd Newberg, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for second-degree criminal mischief, Lincoln County. Cited and released.
11:33 p.m. – Caller reported a male dressed as a clown outside and threatening the caller via Instagram, 1800 block of Grape. Officer unable to locate the male. Officer advised the caller to keep doors and windows locked.
11:37 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose in the area, 600 block of Fourth. Officer unable to catch dog.
Oct. 21
8:39 a.m. – Caller reported an RV parked on the street for more than a week, 1100 block of Second. Referred to code enforcement.
8:40 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in the street for more than three weeks, and it had no plates, 1100 block of Second. Referred to code enforcement.
10:24 a.m. – Caller reported brush and briers growing over a fence, 1200 block of 37th. Referred to code enforcement.
11:23 a.m. – Caller reported she witnessed a female abusing her dog, 13th and Long. Officer contacted a female who had been disciplining her dog for barking too much. The dog was uninjured. Officer advised her of the complaint.
11:31 a.m. – Caller reported open storage, 1200 block of Fourth. Referred to code enforcement.
3:16 p.m. – Caller reported his daughter’s bike was stolen, 1800 block of Vine. Report taken. Loss valued at $12.
3:42 p.m. – Caller reported that residents had cut a lock on the water system and were using water again, 900 block of 27th. Report taken for theft and criminal mischief.
3:48 p.m. – Caller brought a loose dog to the Police Department from the 800 block of 18th. Police took custody of the dog.
Oct. 20
10:58 a.m. – Caller reported a bicycle left at location, 4200 block of Main. Placed in found property.
1:45 p.m. – Ervin Larry Smith, 63, cited for failure to register vehicle, improper display of validating stickers and driving uninsured, 18th and Ames Creek.
1:52 p.m. – Linn County Jail cited Robin David Fox, 26, on a Sweet Home warrant for theft of services.
6:37 p.m. – Caller reported that she had not heard from a male all day, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. She usually speaks with him several times a day. Officer responded to check on the male. Male transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.
8:04 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Report taken. Loss valued at approximately $150.
8:56 p.m. – Caller reported that a red vehicle had been sitting in front of his residence for the previous hour, and it had a person inside, 1700 block of 12th. Officer contacted a male in the vehicle. He said he was a transient, had been sleeping in the vehicle and would move on shortly.

10:43 a.m. – Katrina Marie Tenbusch, 36, turned in herself on a Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
11:30 a.m. – Carlos Adrian Iba-rra, 17, cited for failure to wear seatbelt and no license, and Ryan Andrew Adelman, 18, cited for failure to wear a seatbelt, Long and 13th. Juvenile male referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana.
2:31 p.m. – Paul William Kalina, 57, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 27th and Harding. Kalina also cited for open storage, nuisance ordinance violation for foul odors and nuisance ordinance violation for a vehicle. Transported to Linn County Jail.
2:33 p.m. – Caller reported that someone dumped household garbage with mail in Sankey Park garbage cans. Officer unable to locate owner of garbage.
2:56 p.m. – Caller reported dogs barking all day long, 1900 block of 12th. Referred to code enforcement.
6:16 p.m. – Caller reported that a male forged his name on the caller’s checks and cashed it, 1100 block of 10th. Report taken.
7:14 p.m. – Caller reported that someone called him impersonating a police officer, and the caller provided personal information, 1200 block of Linden. Officer responded and advised the caller of his options.
Oct. 18
3:33 a.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 22, arrested on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1400 block of Nandina. Cited and released.
9:42 a.m. – Caller reported people living in a travel trailer, 1800 block of Kalmia. Referred to code enforcement.
10:10 a.m. – Caller reported that his dog attacked a cat in his yard, 300 block of 11th. Information noted.
10:43 a.m. – A tree knocked over a fence letting a few cows loose on the road, 37800 block of Northern.
1:03 p.m. – Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 28, arrested for first-degree criminal trespass, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of meth, 4836 Main St. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male trying to hit another male.
1:43 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs at large, 4600 block of Long. Officer contacted owner, who is taking steps to contain the dogs. They dug their way out underneath a fence. Officer warned her for dog at large.
2:34 p.m. – Jefferson Cantillo Walker, 31, cited for no license, 2400 block of Main.
4:50 p.m. – Zachary Guy Richmond, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of distribution of meth and new charges of identity theft and second-degree forgery, behind Mr. Lucky’s. Transported to Linn County Jail.
5:07 p..m. – Angela Dianne May, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Polk county warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, 2200 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:15 p.m. – Caller reported a dog showed up at her house, 400 block of Elm. Dog placed in kennel, and dog control notified.
10:54 p.m. – Scheri Janae Oliver, 34, arrested on Marion County warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree burglary, Sweet home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 44th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:22 p.m. – Angel Patricia Geib, 32, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment (owed five days in jail), 305 Seventh Ave. Required to report to Linn County Jail on Nov. 1. Caller had reported a female in the roadway screaming and threatening to smash windows out. And then hitting a vehicle and leaving with her child. Officer contacted the female, who denied what was reported.
Oct. 17
10:24 a.m. – Caller reported persons occupying a travel trailer for a prolonged period, 1400 block of 47th. Referred to code enforcement.
10:25 a.m. – Caller reported a minivan parked for more than two weeks with people living in it, 53rd and Osage. Referred to code enforcement.
10:57 a.m. – Caller reported that someone dumped a large pile of trash in the bushes, 3200 block of Main. Report taken.
10:59 a.m. – Caller said a stray dog was running around the area, 1000 block of North River. The dog was a reddish tan boxer pit bull mix with a white spot on its chest. It is a neutered male with a choke chain on. Deputies were able to find the dog and transport it to dog control.
11:50 a.m. – Caller said there were two illegal camp sites on Canyon Creek near the twin bridges.
11:53 a.m. – Caller reported finding a marijuana pipe on a student, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Seized for destruction.
2:36 p.m. – James David Stedman, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Independence. Cited and released.
3:10 p.m. – Caller reported a utility trailer parked on the street for more than two weeks, 1800 block of Cedar. Referred to code enforcement.
3:10 p.m. – Caller said he woke up to his girlfriend hitting him with a chair, 27800 block of Riggs Hill. Both the caller and his girlfriend claimed the other assaulted the other, but there were no resulting injuries. Report taken for review by the district attorney.
3:45 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole food from his refrigerator a week earlier, 2300 block of Harding. Report taken.
5:01 p.m. – Linn County deputy located a stolen license plate, Cascadia Drive.
11:12 p.m. – John Thomas Gordon, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Deschutes County. Cited and released.
Oct. 16
5:36 p.m. – Caller reported two males in a physical altercation about how one of the males was treating his dog, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Second caller reported a kid on a bike beating his dog. Officer contacted a male subject and counseled him on the treatment of his dog. Dog was uninjured.
7:33 p.m. – Caller reported a suspicious van had been parked in front of both his houses in the past few days, 49th and Main. Officer contacted the registered owner of the vehicle, cautioned him about his behavior and asked him to move along.
7:54 p.m. – Francisco Ramoz Jr., 32, arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving and cited for refusing alcohol breath test in two-vehicle crash, Main and 60th. No injuries. Cited and released.
Oct. 12
12:35 p.m. – Caller reported her mailbox had random mail in it, 40300 block of McQueen. She returned the mail to the Post Office and the Post Office requested her to call Linn County Sheriff’s Office to report it.
