Oct. 27

3:49 a.m. – Crystal Chantel Dawn Schatz, 30, arrested on warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 18th and Vine. Cited and released.

8:52 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his truck tool box and stole $500 in items, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken.

9:33 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle and stole $250 in items, 2000 block of Ames Creek. Report taken.

11:27 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his vehicle and took $500 in items, 300 block of 10th. Report taken.

Oct. 26

4:05 p.m. – Caller reported tools stolen, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Report taken. Tools valued at $500.

4:22 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor was catching cats, taking them into the woods and shooting them, 4900 block of Locust. Officer contacted male, who was warned for behavior and given advice on how to deal with the issue in the future.

5:43 p.m. – Michelle Diane Tonning, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for unauthorized departure and Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:02 p.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 11th near Cedar. Cited and released.

11:08 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Stolen item valued at $4.99

12:17 a.m. – Ronnette Leeann Robertson, 31, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 1200 Main St. Cited and released.

2:21 a.m. – David Kirby, 35, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1237 Nandina St. Cited and released.

8:53 a.m. – Caller reported that someone messed with his tires or slashed them, 1200 block of Linden. Officer responded. No marks on tires. Valve stems were removed and put back in. Information noted.

10:27 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his shed within the past two months, 900 block of Third. Report taken.

10:48 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a friend’s house, 1100 block of 18th. Report taken.

1:35 p.m. – Clinton Jack Williams, 26, turned himself in on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

Oct. 25

2:27 a.m. – Karissa Lynett William, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for possession of meth, 1500 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:41 a.m. – David Daniel Barrett, 44, arrested for driving under the influence and cited for failure to carry proof of insurance and failure to use headlights, 18th and railroad tracks. Cited and released.

9:26 a.m. – Caller reported someone left items in front of the Sweet Home Post Office. Items seized and placed in found property.

12:17 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her car and took a stereo, 100 block of Highway 228. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

1:10 p.m. – James Robert Warrington, 36, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and cited for endangering the welfare of a minor, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Cited and released.

1:46 p.m. – Caller reported a theft from his vehicle, 1200 block of First. Report taken.

2:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her bank card and used it three times, 1100 block of 55th. Report taken.

4:27 p.m. – Calvin Alvin Ames, 48, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Cited and released.

4:46 p.m. – Caller reported his cell phone was stolen about a month ago, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Report taken.

7:45 p.m. – Caller reported that someone paid with a counterfeit $20 bill, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Caller did not accept the bill.

10:28 p.m. – Scotty Ray Sabec, 26, cited for no license and no insurance, 4100 block of Main. Vehicle impounded.

Oct. 24

8:50 a.m. – Heather Lee Elmer, 21, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended and Linn County supervisory warrant for contempt of court on original charge of attempting to elude, 12th and Poplar. Also charged with possession of meth. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:05 p.m. – Caller reported that a little gray car sideswiped another car, 800 block of Main. Report taken for hit and run. Property damage exceeded $1,500.

1:09 p.m. – Caller reported a dog got into his yard and killed his chickens, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Unable to locate dog.

4:43 p.m. – Joseph Michael McCaslin, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of distributing heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, second-degree theft and possession of meth and heroin, 621 Main st., Thriftway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:41 p.m. – Mason William Monroe, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Main and Clark Mill. Also cited for possession of marijuana. Cited and released.

9:38 p.m. – James Thomas Jorgensen, 18, cited for driving uninsured, Skyline parking lot.

Oct. 23

6:44 a.m. – Caller reported a chainsaw stolen from a company truck, 900 block of 23rd. Report taken. Item valued at $600.

10:20 a.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 14th and Hawthorne. No citations. No injuries. Information exchanged.

11:09 a.m. – Bobby Ray Fowler Jr., 53, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft, 2039 Long St. Cited and released.

1:17 p.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 24, arrested for third-degree theft, Sweet Home Public Library. Charge connected to a reported theft at Sunshine Espresso. Cited and released.

1:37 p.m. – Caller reported someone damaged a water valve, 2600 block of Long.

2:03 p.m. – Kevin Webster, 54, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 1370 Green River Road. Caller had reported a dog breaking into his pheasant cage and killing them. Dog quarantined.

2:13 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a wheelchair months ago, 1500 block of 53rd. Report taken.

2:17 p.m. – Oregon State Police requested a Sweet Home officer contact a vehicle, 1400 block of 54th. A female had witnessed a foot sticking out of the trunk of the vehicle while driving home from Lebanon. Officer responded and found the foot was a Halloween prop.

2:18 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a firearm and knives, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken.

Oct. 22

7:50 a.m. – Freddie Leon Seiber, 52, arrested on Lebanon warrants for contempt of court and probation violation and a Linn County warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, 2000 Main St. Also cited for driving while suspended. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

9:15 a.m. – Caller reported stolen items while in the Sweet Home area. Items valued at $1. Report taken.

10 a.m. – Caller reported finding a mountain bike in the grass, 4400 block of Airport. Placed in found property.

11:48 a.m. – Caller reported she was slapped across the face and punched in the stomach, 1500 block of Ninth. Report taken for harassment, domestic violence. Report will be forward to the district attorney.

1:09 p.m. – Krysta Michelle Wolbert, 18, cited for driving while suspended, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

1:47 p.m. – Brian Lee See, 33, arrested on Lebanon justice warrant for contempt of court, nonpayment, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

Oct. 21

1:50 a.m. – Allen Dawayne Coyle, 50, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

11:54 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of bridge timber at the 200 gate South Santiam, 45000 block of Highway 20. Report taken.

3:43 p.m. – Aaron James Evans, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of theft of services, 2300 block of Long. Cited and released.

4:16 p.m. – Robert Kevin Gardner, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Albany. Cited and released.

6:04 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into his parents’ house and stole the safe, 44000 block of Shea Hill.

9:05 p.m. – Henry Lavon Harber, 45, cited for no license and no insurance, Main and 23rd.

Oct. 20

1:33 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his shop, and multiple items were taken, 2000 block of Pleasant Valley. Report taken.

2:03 p.m. – Caller reported marijuana found at Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St. Seized for destruction.

4:09 p.m. – Caller reported a city vehicle was hit by another vehicle, and the driver did not stop, Juniper and Mountain View. Report taken.

4:16 p.m. – Kevin Austin Corrington, 16, cited for careless driving, 1100 block of 43rd. Officer had located a vehicle in a ditch.

6:07 p.m. – Robert Gary Mills Jr., 34, arrested for strangulation and harassment (domestic violence), 1328 13th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Oct. 17

1:03 p.m. – Caller reported that he returned from hunting and his possessions were scattered everywhere in the house. He believed his home had been burglarized, 40000 block of Mountain Home. Report taken.

Oct. 16

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported someone entered outbuildings during the night, 27900 block of Fern Ridge. Report taken. Caller had video surveillance. Caller unsure if anything was taken.

Oct. 15

6:01 p.m. – Single-vehicle crash blocking the road on the S-curve, 42200 block of North River. No injuries.

9:21 p.m. – Caller reported a rape, 25000 block of Crescent Hill.
