Oct. 2

3:24 a.m. – Caller reported that her boyfriend choked her, and she couldn’t breathe, 1200 block of Laurel. Report taken for strangulation.

7:45 a.m. – Caller reported that a couple came out of a motor home and started fighting, 1000 block of Long. They walked toward 12th and Kalmia. Officer unable to locate.

7:57 a.m. – Caller reported a power line down in Sankey Park. The grass had small burn marks. Pacific Power repaired the line.

9:57 a.m. – Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 28, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charges of third-degree escape and failure to appear, 2300 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:20 a.m. – Kelly Taylor-Harp, 54, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County Jail.

12:03 p.m. – Caller reported finding a bag full of mail, 900 block of Oak Terrace.

12:59 p.m. – John Pablo Scott, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree escape, Lebanon. Cited and released.

Oct. 1

5:17 a.m. – Single-vehicle rollover crash, Highway 20, about 3 miles east of Sweet Home. No injuries. No signs of impairment. Speed sign damaged. Report taken.

7:22 a.m. – Marcus Wesley Hesson, 45, cited and released in field for failure to register as a sex offender, 300 W. Holley Road, Stone brook Apartments.

7:23 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, Grape and 18th. Officer contacted a friend of the owner. The dog appeared to have jumped a fence to get loose.

8:25 a.m. – James Robert Warrington, 37, cited for consuming alcohol in public, 2301 Main St., Taco Time.

9:49 a.m. – Caller reported a cell phone stolen, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $400.

10:44 a.m. – Kody Wayne Nunn, 27, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of attempting to assault a police officer, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

12:42 p.m. – Caller reported license plates stolen from vehicle, 2200 block of Harding. Report taken. Loss valued at $80.

2:03 p.m. – Officer located the frame from a stolen bicycle, Swan’s parking lot. Placed in found property.

2:40 p.m. – Faith May Wilson (AKA Ernest Erwin), 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of resisting arrest, 1120 Ironwood St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:09 p.m. – Caller reported her purse stolen, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Report taken. Loss valued at $90.

10:01 p.m. – Terry Lynn Ballweber, 52, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, Goodwill, 18th and Main. Cited and released.

Sept. 30

12:30 a.m. – Donna Ashley Claxton, 23, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Klamath Falls.

2:48 a.m. – Andrew Benton Erickson, 46, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, 18th and Tamarack.

9:08 a.m. – Caller reported his medical marijuana, worth $140, stolen, 2300 block of Main. Report taken.

10:40 a.m. – Julie Ann Rowe, 35, cited for unlawful lane change in two-vehicle crash, Rowell Hill and Highway 228. Second driver was Deborah Ann Scofield, 57. No injuries.

11:30 a.m. – Caller reported seeing a cougar move across a field and go into the trees, 500 block of 3rd. Officer unable to locate cougar. Caller advised to call the police and to take photos if she sees itagain. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife notified.

12:44 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog got loose and attacked her dog, 1800 block of Vine. neighbor.

12:59 p.m. – Caller reported that a vicious dog in the area has killed other animals that have entered its yard, 1100 block of Ironwood.

3:24 p.m. – Krysta Michelle Wolbert, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol, Albany. Cited and released.

5:01 p.m. – Caller reported that his mailbox has been hit and is lying on the ground, 1100 block of Mountain View. Report taken.

5:35 p.m. – Caller reported that she was walking her dog, and a dog came out of a yard and tried to attack her and her dog, 4200 block of Main. Officer contacted owner, who agreed to secure the dog better.

6:03 p.m. – Two callers reported that a female is walking in neighbors’ yards, 12th and Kalmia. Female gone upon officer arrival.

8:57 p.m. – Louis Bradford Phillips, 56, cited and released in field for failure to comply on original citation of open storage at a residence, Hilltop Market.

Sept. 29

12:36 a.m. – Caller reported two people in Sankey Park with a fire in the barbecue pit. Subjects left as officer arrived. Fire was out. Officer unable to locate subjects.

9:57 a.m. – Crystal Ray Sevak, 34, turned in herself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

10:34 a.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 28, turned in herself in on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, menacing and second-degree criminal trespass, carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of first-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

11:56 a.m. – Caller reported persons living in multiple trailers, 400 block of Mountain View. Referred to code enforcement.

12:40 p.m. – Two callers reported a suspicious male with blood on his head and shirt walking down the street, Highway 228 near Thriftway. Officer unable to locate the male.

3 p.m. – Michelle Kimberly Ray, 26, cited and released in field on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on two original charges of possession of meth, a citation and contempt of court, 12th and Spruce.

7:33 p.m. – Caller reported her jewelry was stolen, 400 block of Mountain View. Report taken. Loss valued at $445.

7:36 p.m. – Caller reported a gun and coins stolen, 28000 block of Riggs Hill. Report taken. Loss valued at $580.

8:29 p.m. – Blake Andrew Martin, 23, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

10:27 p.m. – Joseph Martin Wagner, 30, cited and released in field for fourth-degree assault, 1372 Quince St. Caller had reported a male hitting him in the face.

10:45 p.m. – Michael Austin Hurley, 37, cited and released in field on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1372 Quince St.

Sept. 28

12:39 a.m. – Caller reported two or three guys with flashlights trying to break into a shop, 1800 block of Yucca. Officer unable to locate reported activity. One person came out of a neighboring residence with a flashlight but denied the reported activity.

1:25 a.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 22, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on two original counts of second-degree criminal trespass, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s.

2:06 a.m. – Brittny Ann Mahlee Gibson, 27, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Cited and released.

9:12 a.m. – Caller reported a lost dog on her porch, 1100 block of 27th. Dog placed in kennel.

10:38 a.m. – Caller reported 50 to 100 pigeons landing behind Lakeside Market, 5400 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

10:52 a.m. – Caller reported that dog control requested she take a dog she found to Sweet Home Police Department, 43000 block of North River. Dog placed in kennel.

11:05 a.m. – Jaycee Ryan McClurg, 29, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Linn County Jail.

12:36 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog continues to get out and tear up neighbors’ yards, and the dog nearly caused an accident the day before, 4900 block of Airport. Officer contacted the owner and warned the owner for keeping a dog as a public nuisance.

2:37 p.m. – Caller reported garbage, appliances and tall weeds, 2200 block of Cedar. Referred to code enforcement.

2:43 p.m. – Caller reported sports collectibles taken from residence, 1500 block of Long. Report taken.

4 p.m. – Caller reported multiple thefts from the girls locker room, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken.

4:39 p.m. – Caller reported her son’s bike stolen, 5200 block of Main. Report taken.

5:11 p.m. – Caller reported finding a white male pit bull, Fifth and Elm. Placed in kennel.

Sept. 27

1:28 a.m. – Travis Trent Stach-Sells, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Main and 42nd. Cited and released.

3:16 a.m. – Caller reported an alarm going off in the area, 2500 block of Long. Officer responded, located a smoke alarm in a ditch then disabled.

8:24 a.m. – Caller reported a male lying on the sidewalk and not moving, south side of the Wiley Creek Bridge. Officer responded. Medics transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

9:13 a.m. – Caller reported an abandoned vehicle, Elm and Third. Officer advised the registered owner about city ordinances and to update the tags if it’s going to be parked on the street.

9:43 a.m. – Abandoned vehicle impounded, Highway 228 and Third.

9:47 a.m. – Caller reported a dog being aggressive, 4900 block of Mimosa. Dog recovered and returned to residence.

9:58 a.m. – Caller reported a truck full of garbage and chair sitting on the sidewalk for more than a week, 500 block of 14th. Referred to code enforcement.

10:13 a.m. – Leslie Lee Gibson, 49, held for detox and released, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Caller had reported an intoxicated male asking for money and then walking into traffic and nearly being hit.

10:57 a.m. – Caller reported that his son’s vehicle was hit with paint balls, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. No damage. Caller did not want to pursue charges.

11:25 a.m. – Caller reported a trailer parked in the street for a long period of time, 1000 block of Third. Referred to code enforcement.

11:26 a.m. – Caller reported two cars parked in a yard, 900 block of Third. Referred to code enforcement.

11:26 a.m. – Caller reported parts all over the driveway, 800 block of Third. Referred to code enforcement.

12 p.m. – Caller reported a male hitting and screaming at a female, then they got into a vehicle and drove toward Foster Lake, 4824 Main St., Hilltop Market. Officer unable to locate vehicle. Other police agencies notified.

12:32 p.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to siphon fuel from his truck during the night, 1400 block of Tamarack. Report taken.

1:19 p.m. – Caller reported a customer’s bag was taken out of a vehicle, and it was on camera, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Report taken. Loss valued at $190.

1:38 p.m. – Caller found a bag of mail, 4800 block of Main. Placed in found property.

1:54 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole tips, 1203 Long St., All Star Pizza. Report taken. Loss valued at $8.

2:20 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit during the night, 800 block of Elm. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,500.

2:41 p.m. – Caller reported a male slamming a female’s head against a pole, west of First Avenue on Highway 228. Officer saw two people walking west on the railroad tracks and attempted to contact them. They ducked into the bushes. Linn County Sheriff’s Office advised.

2:53 p.m. – Caller reported that a school bus driver grabbed her son by the throat, Evergreen and Highway 228. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

3:29 p.m. – Caller reported that a male was in her fenced backyard, 900 block of 15h. Last seen headed toward Sankey Park. Report taken.

4:39 p.m. – Caller reported that her daughter had rocks thrown at her by another girl. Report taken for harassment. Investigation continuing.

5:06 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole a backpack after going through the locker room at the Sweet Home High School gym. Report taken.

8:24 p.m. – Caller reported that two teenage males set fire to something and then stomped it out, cedar mill on Riggs Hill. Officer located a log that had been burned. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate the males.

9:19 p.m. – Caller reported a male hitting a parked vehicle, with a female inside screaming, 18th and Elm. They left the area. Officer unable to locate.

9:34 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a TV, PlayStation and video games from his home, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.

Sept. 26

12:39 a.m. – Caller reported a verbal disturbance among several subjects, 12th and Kalmia. Officer responded. All quiet upon arrival.

7:39 a.m. – Caller reported a very skinny dog running loose in the area, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate the dog.

10:38 a.m. – Mailbox was left open on Saturday, 1000 block North River. It is unknown if any mail was taken.

10:56 a.m. – Caller reported a missing dog at her location, 1300 block of Fir. Officer placed dog in kennel and notified dog control.

11:11 a.m. – Caller reported his bicycle stolen, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Bike valued at $250.

11:33 a.m. – Barney McAlister, 44, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of manufacturing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, 3000 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:47 p.m. – Alexi Jean Chase, 18, arrested for initiating a false report, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Cited and released.

2:53 p.m. – Ashley Marie Schwebe, 22, cited for speeding, 40 mph in a 20-mph school zone. Caller had reported a vehicle failing to maintain lane eastbound in the Narrows on Highway 20.

5:19 p.m. – Caller reported a laptop stolen, 28800 block of Weatherly.

6:21 p.m. – Caller reported that a female subject dumped water on his autistic son, 6200 block of Main. Report taken for harassment to be forwarded to the city attorney.

6:37 p.m. – Lisa Marlana Rivers, 45, arrested on Linn Conty warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1340 47th Ave. Cited and released.

6:42 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female fighting in the middle of the road, 27900 block of Pleasant Valley Rd.

8:04 p.m. – Caller reported a female sleeping in bushes, 800 block of Sixth. Officer contacted female, who advised she was just stopping briefly, and she moved along.

9:55 p.m. – Caller reported a female walking around Shea Point and a male sleeping. Officer contacted the male and female and advised them to move along.

Sept. 25

11:29 a.m. – Caller said he saw a vehicle pull up to their mailbox and then leave, 30000 block of Fairview. Caller has had numerous mail thefts recently.

4:10 p.m. – Caller reported that dogs chased her son into the street, and he was nearly hit by a car, 4000 block of Osage. Officer contacted owner of dogs and warned the owner for dog at large.

5:03 p.m. – Caller reported a dog at large, 4900 block of Locust. Officer checked area but unable to locate.

6:24 p.m. – Caller reported her son’s car was spray painted during the night, 1600 block of Dogwood. Report taken. Officer assisted with removal of paint.

9:36 p.m. – Hunter Areil Ringheimer, 23, arrested for possession of heroin and on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol, 12th and Main. Cited and released.

10:15 p.m. – Caller reported the front license plate stolen from his vehicle, 2200 block of Main. Report taken. Remaining plate seized.

Sept. 24

12:10 p.m. – Caller wanted to talk to a deputy about a suspicion he has that the neighbors might go after his water lines with an axe, 46600 block of Old Hufford.

Sept. 23

1:38 a.m. – Caller said dogs have a llama trapped on the property next to the caller’s, 29300 block of Speasl.

11:34 a.m. – Caller reported they found quite a bit of mail from different people at different addresses in the bathroom trash at South Santiam Fish Hashery. Report taken.

11:43 a.m. – Caller said they saw a man get out of a vehicle, go to the side of the vehicle where a female was and hit her. She got out of the vehicle.

1:21 p.m. – Caller said her neighbors have been throwing food over the fence to their dogs, 28300 block of Liberty. The caller has asked them to stop, but they continue.

2:57 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was sideswiped yesterday while his son was at the Upper Calapooia swimming hole. Report taken.

4:25 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his shop, 28400 block of Liberty.

4:41 p.m – Caller said there were three horses in his yard that do not belong to him, 37900 block of Mountain Home. He said the horses belong to his neighbor, whose house burned down.

Sept. 22

2:02 p.m. – Caller said someone hacked into his computer and did odd things.

2:30 p.m. – Caller said her neighbor shot her cat, 41100 block of Upper Calapooia. She said this is an ongoing issue and they have been harassing her children.
