4:50 a.m. – Caller reported a male sleeping in a parking lot, 800 block of Main. Officer contacted sleeping female and sent her on her way.

8:53 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was drinking beer and breaking the empty bottles in the street, while cars were driving over the glass, 2100 block of Main. Officer contacted residents, who admitted to it. They cleaned up the mess, and the officer warned them for their actions.

3:03 p.m. – Caller reported backpacks and guns worth $1,050 stolen, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Report taken.
4:30 p.m. – Richard Guy Tagen, 25, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply and probation violation on original charge of failure to appear on second-degree criminal mischief and another charge of failure to appear, 1118 Main St., O’Reilly’s. Caller had reported the occupants of a vehicle that had been parked there were causing a scene. One broke a guitar. Officer contacted one male who was upset about an issue and broke his own guitar. Officer had him pick up his mess and advised his group to move along.

Sept. 27
1:22 a.m. – Daryle Atwood, 39, arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving, 29100 block of Fairview. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:33 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle with a shattered back window and broken axle in the middle of the road, 43800 block of Marks Ridge. Vehicle towed as a hazard after attempts to contact the registered owner were unsuccessful.
6:36 p.m. – Caller reported two bicycles missing from the back of his motor home between Wal-Mart in Lebanon and Quartzville. Unknown if they fell off or were stolen. Report taken.
8:03 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash occurred when a deer entered the roadway, and one vehicle rear-ended the other, 27700 block of Highway 20. Information exchanged, and both vehicles were driven from the scene. No injuries. No citations.
